Describe a person who has an interesting job.

Describe a useful advice you have received.

遵循“ARE”原则:即是answer,R是reason,E是example。

I know 、I do 、I like...

Describe an important event that you celebrated 庆祝的重要事件.doc

Describe an important event that you celebrated

Describe an important event that you celebratedYou should say:What it wasWhere it happenedWhy it was importantHow people felt about it我要说的重要事项是中国网球运动员李娜在2011年获得法国网球公开赛的冠军。

The important event I am going to talk about is that Lina, a Chinese female tennis player, won the championship of French Open in 2011.

Describe an occasion when you helped a person 描述你帮助他人的经历.doc

Describe an occasion when you helped a person

You should say:What the situation was? Who you helped? How you helped? And explain how you felt after giving help ?

The person I helped was an old lady. It was Monday morning. I took bus to work as usual. Fortunately enough, I found a seat among the crowd who flooded into the bus once the door opened. You can imagine how difficult it was during the peak hours in Beijing.

Describe a recent happy event that you had.You should say:When this happenedWhat the event wasWho was with youAnd explain why you felt happy about it.

为什么感到快乐:因为和朋友们在一起,每个人兴致都很高(in good spirits),大家一起度过了很精彩的时光(had a whale of a time) 参考范文:Ok then, I'm going to describe a recent happy occasion. Well I should firstly say that I'm quite lucky to have been to a number of enjoyable events recently, but if I had to choose one to talk to you about, then I would say my best friend’s birthday p arty, as this is probably the freshest in my memory. So, as for when and where the party happened, well, I guess it must have been around one or two months ago, and my friend had invited a load of us to his favourite ho官方真题Officialt restaurant, the name of which has escaped me, but it was in some nondescript shopping mall in the city centre. And regarding what we did that evening, well, first of all, we had a big ho官方真题Officialt dinner which seemed to go on forever, coz my friend has a huge appetite, and he kept on ordering dishes like there was no tomorrow! Anyway, we finally finished dinner at around 9-ish, and then after that, we all headed to KTV. The funny thing was, though, that most of his friends didn't actually sing anything, coz they were more interested in playing drinking games with each other, and by the end of the evening, I think we had got through something like 50 or 60 bottles of beer, which was quite impressive seeing as there were only about 7 or 8 of us!And finally, as to why I enjoyed the occasion, well, I would say the main reason would be that it was great to spend a night out with my best friend, because I don't really see him all that often, and we were able to catch up on a lot of things. So that's one reason, and another would simply be that everyone was in really good spirits, you know, like cracking jokes and telling funny stories, so we all basically had a whale of a time.So yeah, that's about everything. Thanks very much for listening. Something happened recently that made you happyP2Describe a recent event that made you happy.you should say:what event it was;when and where it happened;what you saw or did;and explain why this event was enjoyable.P3What's the relationship between money and happiness?Do you think money is important?Do most Chinese people think that money is important? What do you do to make yourself happy? Why are children generally happier than adults?范文The college entrance exams are a real nightmare and they cause a lot of stress and anxiety. In China, all students with dreams of a future, need to take hours of grueling examinations that determine their future careers and university studies. We study for these exams for months ahead of time and the competition is fierce. Some students get very little sleep, maybe only a handful of hours a night. In June a few years ago, the anxiety finally disappeared and I felt as though I had no worries or problems. I can clearly remember it being over and feeling like I was free to finally relax and take it easy. Students were cheering and embracing one another, it was really nice to see. I saw proud parents picking up their children and crying tears of joy because the pressure of these exams was finally over.I was so happy that I immediately spoiled myself to an expensive meal at a top restaurant. I treated my best friends to a lavish meal and we celebrated all night long. It was one of the happiest times of my life and I will never forget the feeling of relief. What made me most happy was this feeling of intense freedom and liberation that I was no longer bound to an exam. I could finally get a good night's rest and the anxious and nervous moments had finally disappeared.

Describe a person who is your friend Who he/she is?What he/she looks like What he/she does?Explain why you like this person。

Who this person is?

I have lots of good friends. But speaking of my best friend, I think it is...

First, ads disturb our life. Surely, we all have the experience that an of the information about a product often interrupts our pleasure of watching an exciting film on T.V, which makes us so annoyed that sometimes we have the impulse to call the T.V station to make a complaint。

What’s more annoying is that you have spent money on a newspaper, but you’ll find that most of the space in the newspaper is occupied by all kinds of disgusting ads about a medicine of dealing with sexual diseases, which has totally violated your previous desire of getting the news about what is happening。

If it's stopped, I do news paper word puzzles.I usually channel surf the radio, comparing different traffic reports. When I get bored with that, I check out the drivers next to me and imagine what their life story is all about!I dream about the day I can leave this place, move to a city where I can buy a house for what it's truly worth and where traffic doesn't dictate your ability to get anywhere at anytime in a decent amount of time.I usually check out all the other drivers in their cars to see how they match up with the kind of car they drive. Maybe silly, but you can't very well do much else that's legal.素材库 how you felt when you were in that traffic jam?I have never been happy in a traffic jam; it's a pain in the neck.I want to jump out of the car and walk along the tops of all the other vehicles. If I'm in a Taxi, I will worry about the taxi fare.I had a full tank of gas one time in traffic, and I was by myself, no kids, and I just sat there and relaxed and listened to my music. When there's nothing else you can do, there's the phone. It was actually nice! It doesn't bother me in the least, unless I’m trying to meet a deadline where other people are dependent upon me......I hate them if I am busy. But love them if I have time. Especially if I have a friend in the car because that's a classic time to sing loudly.I don't see much point in losing my cool over a traffic jam. I sigh, pick some music that I like out of the CD collection and either try to figure a way around the jam or wait it out.I hate traffic jam. It seems like it is taking longer very day to get to work and to go home. It is just getting worse. A year ago it took me 35 minutes to get to work and now it takes me 50 minutes to 1 hour to get to work. It is driving me nuts. I guess it is due to the construction everywhere and the city population is growing rapidly. I have seen some aggressively drivers were speeding and illegally driving the wrong way trying to get to work on time. One driver cut in front of me without turning the signal on. I was close to an accidentI absolutely HATE when this happens! O.K. that said, generally I first turn up the music and pray for something reallygood to listen to, then as I crawl along toward the next exit I think of where I am, where I'm going and whether it's worth it to get off there. I often take the alternate route. So I learned to be patient by listening to the radio, or call someone on the cell phone. Sometimes I don't turn on the radio at all and go deep in thoughts or pray.Part 31. When do traffic jams usually happen?Watch out for traffic jams - especially in the middle of the city (around Siam Square) and around peak hours (morning and evening rush hour traffic). You can be jammed up really tight and everything will come down to a crawl if not a complete stand still.Try not to take taxi during peak hour and on weekend night. You will easily be trapped for 1 hour inside a cab.2. What are the causes of traffic jams?rush hour, slow moving trucks, construction on the roads, cars with trailers, crash incidents, many pedestrians walking across a street after some sort of large meeting, bad weather, traffic lights malfunctioning, bike gangs, some sort of celebration taking place on a major road involving many vehicles and prohibiting vehicles not included in the celebration to get through, bad road planning, crime scene area prohibiting cars and pedestrians to pass by, many others.what cause traffic jams everybody leaving at the same time and heading the same directionLots and lots of cars. Lot and lots of people who sit in the traffic jams and never learn that they are a major cause and insist on taking the same jammed roads at the same damned time. Poorly designed roads allow people to do stupid things in traffic that cause accidents. Stupid people who do stupid things intraffic regardless of the road design.3. Do you think the problem of traffic congestion will be eased in the future or will it become worse?population is increasing, children are growing up to teenagers and teenagers are growing up to adults, they get older they drive. People are relying on cars too much, this problem will become more and more serious.4. What would you suggest as possible solutions to the problem of congested traffic?1. reeducate all drivers, especially PUV drivers. strictly disapprove licenses of those who will fail exams.2. make PUV drivers salaried employees, not paid based on the number of passengers.3. instill road courtesy.4. government should have an efficient flood control program.5. computerize traffic lights.6. instill discipline for both drivers and traffic enforcers.7. improve road conditions.1. Widen roads, build more skyways.2. Build more overpass/underpass for pedestrians3. Restrict buses, jeepneys and tricycles from highways or main roads.4. Strictly enforce traffic rules and regulations5. Mandatory driving tests to all driver's license applicants6. Traffic policemen should know how to drive before they are eligible to direct traffic.雅思口语高分句型有哪些雅思口语高分句型套用技巧一、定语从句经典系列① (名词或代词) is the kind of (per son/place/thing…) who(which/that) is…② (名词或代词) is a (person/ place…) who (which) gives you the impression of being…③ (名词或代词)is one of the most (形容词) (名词) I have ever seen/met/known.④ (地点名称) is a place where you can do sth.⑤ (时间名词) is a day (occasion/the time) when you do sth.

Describe a difficult thing you did well

Describe a difficult thing you did well. You should say:what it washow you did itwhy (or how) it was difficultand explain how you felt after you did it.In our life, we do so many difficult things knowingly and unknowingly. For some difficult tasks, we get appreciation and some remain unnoticed by others.

I would like to describe one of the difficult jobs I did and was appreciated as well. It was an event when I was around 18 years old and saved a little boy who was drowning in a pond. That day I was near a big pond of our town and all of a sudden I noticed a human hand in the water. No other part of the little boy’s body could be seen except his hand that he was desperately trying to get up at the last moment of his life. Initially, I thought that I was just hallucinating and nothing was in the water but instantly I changed my mind and had been sure that it was a boy who was drowning.I took off my shoes and jumped into the water. Then I realized my mistake that I have not pointed out the exact place where I thought someone was sinking.

Describe an important occasion when you are late等。

1. a picnic
2. a meal outdoors
3. a special/strange meal
4. a sport event(describe the process)
5. a party/a party you threw for your family members or friends
6. a public event(except sport events)
7. a traditional event
8. a traditional festival
9. a walk with a friend
10. a traffic jam
11. describe last week

1. …start by …,on Day One.
2. After a couple of days to …,you’ll …on Day Three …which will the whole of the day.
3. Day Four takes us …。

4. Then …,that’s Day Five,
5. …before going to …and that’s Day Six.
6. We stay …for Day Seven because then comes the …day,…。

7. Day Nine is …,with part of the day spent in …。

8. Then back down to …and the journey home.
