本节课为第十二单元第二课时阅读课,阅读语篇是一篇两段式按时间顺序叙述的记叙文,讲述了作者从两件意想不到的突发事件中转危为安的两个小故事。

生活充满了意外
2001年5月,我在纽约世贸中心找到一份工作。
在2001年9月11日,我大约在早上八点半到达了工作的大楼,这时我决定先买一杯咖啡。

它在每年的四月一日,这是一个许多人会互相开各种玩笑或恶作剧的日子。

在1938年的十月,演员奥森.威尔斯在他的电台节目中宣布来自火星的外星人已经登录地球。
他描述了他们在哪里登陆,还告诉大家这些外星人正在如何穿越美国。
威尔斯让他的话听起来如此逼真,以至于数以百计的人相信了这个故事,恐惧在整个国家蔓延。
等到警察宣布这个故事是个恶作剧的时候,已经有数以千计的人离开了他们的国家。
