摘 要:当前小学英语Let’s read 板块教学中存在着教学效率不高的情况。
本文结合教育科学出版社的《英语》教材六年级上册Unit 8 A trip to Hong Kong (Let’s read )的课堂教学实例,分析和探讨“激趣导学,问题引领”“创设情景,整体呈现”“培养思维,扎实巩固”“渗透策略,拓展能力”等教学方法在小学英语教学中的运用,从而提高课堂教学的有效性。

新教材给五、六年级专门设置了Let’s read 教学板块。
该板块是每个单元的核心内容,通过语篇帮助学生学习新语言知识,发展听、说、读、写技能,促进综合语言运用能力的发展。
《义务教育英语课程标准》(以下简称《课育部 2012)25。
但是在实际课堂教学中,许多教师只注重活动的形式与数量,忽视其有效性,其表现为新知呈现碎片化——过度关注词、句的讲授与操练,缺乏语篇意识;情景创设形式化——情景创设不真实或与学习内容无关;巩固拓展机械化——过多的机械操练,缺乏有思维性的训练。
因此,提高Let’s read 板块教学的有效性是当前急需解决的问题。

1教学目标
1、语言知识目标
(1)能听说读懂以下新词汇:put up,share,wonderful,hurry,bring,ham,turkey
(2)能听懂、读懂和朗读文本,并通过回答问题、判断信息等练习帮助理解文本,获取信息;
2、语言技能目标
(1)能在老师的引导下,利用思维导图复述文本。
(2)能在学案预习的前提下,简单谈论自己最喜爱的节日。
3、情感态度目标
学生学会主动学习,突破难点,增强学习的信心;进行品德的渗透教育,让学生理解圣诞节所弘扬的梦想、期待、陪伴、感恩、分享的人文情怀;而思维导图激发学生的创新思维和自学能力、培养文段重构能力、锻炼发散思维和聚合思维和口语表达能力,给予学生自我表达的机会平台,体现新时代师生平等关系。
2学情分析
学生在五年级下册Unit 2和本册Unit 11的基础上对中西节日有了一定的涉猎,大部分学生都能说出如:The Spring Festival,Teachers’Day,Father’s Day, Mother’s Day,Chris tmas, Fool’s Day,Easter等中西节日的名称以及它们的日期和大概风俗,并能够较为流利地口头表达 My favourite festival;本文Christmas的教学内容,学生通过看圣诞电影、日常生活常识和学案预习中都感受到了这个西方传统节日文化的风俗,对节日的文化背景、文化知识都有一定的了解;所以本课的重点,不再放在文本的逐一讲解上,而是教师旨意通过创设各种情景,让学生对文本的长句的理解、上口和运用更加熟练,并提高对学生的语言输出的要求,把思维导图贯穿全课,提供给学生以语言的架构支撑,并尝试让学生运用自己设计的思维导图,对全篇文本进行复述,激发学生思维、巩固运用以及拓展语言点,以提高学生学习的目标达成度。
3教学重难点
本课词汇、句型的掌握和理解;自然流利地朗读和复述课文的能力培养;对课文理解检测的回答问题和判断对错的完成;学生利用思维导图,锻炼连续说话的能力和综合运用语言的能力。
