1My Awesome Summer VacationHi everyone! My name is Emma and I'm going to tell you all about my super fun summer vacation this year. It was the best summer ever!It started off with my birthday on June 21st. I turned 10 years old! My parents threw me a big pool party and all my friends came over. We played games like Marco Polo and had swimming races. My friend Lily gave me a really cool art set with tons of colored pencils, markers, and nice sketchpads. After we went swimming, we had cake and ice cream. My mom made my favorite - chocolate cake with vanilla frosting! I got lots of fun presents but I think the art supplies were my favorite.A few days after my birthday, my family went on our annual summer road trip. This year we drove up to Canada! We live in California so it was a really long drive. My little brother James and I had an epic battle of "I Spy" in the car. He's only 6 but he's really good at that game. We stayed in hotels along the way andwent sightseeing. In Oregon, we visited Crater Lake which is this enormous bright blue lake in the middle of a volcano! It was so pretty. We also stopped at some cheesy roadside attractions like the House of Mystery which has all these crazy optical illusions inside. When we finally made it to Canada, we stayed in Vancouver for a few days. I loved it there! We went to the Vancouver Aquarium and I got to pet some tiny shark pups. We also walked across the famous Capilano Suspension Bridge which was kind of scary because it's so high up and sways back and forth. But the views of the forest underneath were amazing. My favorite part was touring Stanley Park and seeing the totem poles carved by Native artists. They were huge and so detailed! After Vancouver, we drove out to the Rocky Mountains in Alberta. That's where we went hiking, canoeing on bright blue glacier lakes, and saw some wildlife up close. One morning we spotted a big grizzly bear eating berries just off the trail! Our guide had us make loud noises by banging our hiking poles so the bear would move along. I was a little scared but also excited to see a real grizzly. We also saw elk, bighorn sheep, and evenspotted a wolf pack in the distance through binoculars. TheRockies were just gorgeous with the craggy gray peaks, forests, and waterfalls. We stayed in some fun mountain lodges too.On the way back home, we stopped in Seattle for a couple days. We went up in the Space Needle which had this rotating glass floor that looked straight down - I got a little dizzy! The Museum of Pop Culture was really cool with exhibits on musicians, movies, and video games. We also took a tour of the underground city underneath Seattle's streets which was built after the city kept flooding in the 1800s. It was like walking through creepy underground tunnels and basements that used to be the first floors of buildings. Definitely gave me the chills! Finally, we drove back to California and made it home just in time for me to get ready to go back to school. Summer always seems to fly by so fast! I got to have so many fun adventures though. I'll never forget swimming in ice cold glacier lakes in the Rockies or seeing that huge grizzly bear. I made a million awesome memories this summer to tell my friends about when I went back to 4th grade. I can't wait for next summer's road trip! Who knows where we'll end up...篇2My Wonderful FamilyHi there! My name is Emily and I'm a 4th grader. For our English class handwritten report, I want to tell you all about my wonderful family. We have a lot of fun together and they mean everything to me.Let me start by introducing my mom and dad. My mom's name is Sarah and she is the most caring person I know. She works really hard as a nurse at the hospital, taking care of sick people. But when she comes home, she always has a big smile and a warm hug for me and my little brother Tommy. My dad's name is Michael and he is a police officer. His job is to keep our city safe from bad guys. He's really strong and brave. At home, he loves playing catch with me and Tommy in the backyard. Sometimes he lifts us way up in the air and spins us around until we're dizzy with laughter!Speaking of Tommy, he's my goofy little 6-year-old brother. Tommy can be annoying sometimes when he wants to play with my toys or get into my stuff. But he's also really funny and makes me laugh with his silly jokes and faces. I don't know what I'd do without him around. We love having contests to see who can burp the loudest or make mom and dad crack up more. Usually Tommy wins those! We can't forget about our awesome dog Buddy! Buddy is a big friendly golden retriever. He gets so excited whenever we come home from school, jumping up with his tail wagging like crazy. Buddy loves chasing after tennis balls and going for walks around the neighborhood with us. Sometimes he even helps wake me up in the morning by licking my face when it's time to get ready for school. Yuck! Our family loves going on little adventures together. One of our favorite things is having picnics at the park on sunny Saturdays. Mom packs a huge basket with sandwiches, fruits, veggies, and cookies. Then we'll spread out a big blanket, play frisbee, and just relax together. Last summer, we went camping for the first time ever. We all helped put up our big tent, made s'mores over the campfire, and went on a cool night hike. Somehow we managed not to get lost in the dark woods!During the holidays, we always decorate our house like crazy! For Halloween we carve super silly pumpkins and hang up fake cobwebs everywhere. Dad once dressed up as Frankenstein and tried scaring the neighborhood kids - they just laughed at his goofy costume. In December we put up tons of bright lights and decorations for Christmas. Making christmas cookies with momis the best. I might eat more cookie dough than actual baked cookies!I remember when Tommy was first born - I was only 2 years old. I was really excited to have a new little brother to play with. But I soon realized babies can be a lot of work too! He cried a lot and always needed his diaper changed. Whenever he grabbed my hair or toys, I would get so mad. But mom and dad were patient and showed me how to be a good caring big sister. Now that Tommy is bigger, we've become the best of friends. My grandparents are another huge part of our family that I love spending time with. Grandma Rose and Grandpa Frank live in a cute little house just 10 minutes away. We have sleepovers at their place all the time! Grandma makes the most delicious pies - her special apple pie is my absolute favorite. She taught me and Tommy how to bake them too. Grandpa loves telling us hilarious stories about when he was a kid "back in the day". He's also an amazing gardener with the most beautiful backyard garden full of vegetables.Sometimes families can get on each other's nerves for sure. Like when Tommy is being a brat or if I'm having a moodypre-teen day. Or if mom is nagging us about cleaning our rooms (which I admittedly don't do a great job at). And dad can bepretty strict about things like getting good grades and going to bed on time during the school week. But at the end of the day, we all still love each other like crazy. My family brings me more happiness and laughter than anything else in the world. They are my best friends and biggest supporters. I can't wait to make more incredible memories with them as I keep growing up. Having a loving, goofy, and caring family like mine is truly the greatest gift in life. I'm one lucky kid!篇3My Favorite Subject - EnglishEnglish is my favorite subject in school! I love learning new words and discovering how to put sentences together. Reading stories and books in English is really fun too.In our first unit this year, we learned all about the different members of the family. I already knew words like mom, dad, brother, and sister. But I didn't know some of the other family relationship words before. We learned that your mom's mom is your grandmother. And your dad's dad is your grandfather. If you have a brother or sisterwho has a baby, that baby is your niece or nephew. Isn't that interesting? My grandparents live far away, so I don't get to see them very often. But I have a baby cousin who was just born a few months ago. She's my aunt's daughter, so that makes her my niece! I'm really excited because my family is going to visit them during our next school break. I can't wait to finally meet my new little niece. In the family unit, we also learned about different jobs that family members might have. We talked about what firefighters, police officers, doctors, teachers, and many other workers do. I think it's really cool how many important jobs there are that help our community. My dad works at a big office downtown. He's an accountant, which means he works with numbers and finances all day long. My mom is a nurse at the hospital. She takes care of sick people and helps them get better. I'm very proud of both of my parents and the hard work they do at their jobs.I'm really interested to learn more about different careers as I get older. Right now, I think I might want to be a teacher when I grow up, just like my favorite teachers at school. Or maybe I'll bea writer, since I love writing stories and essays like this one! Who knows what the future will hold?Another fun part of our family unit was learning about different cultures and traditions related to families. We read stories from all around the world about different ways that people celebrate things like weddings, birthdays, new babies being born, and other special family events. One of my favorite stories was a folktale from China about a young girl who did a special job of delivering delicious mooncakes to different family members during a big moon festival celebration. The descriptions of the beautiful mooncakes made me so hungry! I'd love to try one sometime. We also learned about things like family crests or coats of arms, which were popular symbols of family pride and heritage in Europe a long time ago. Families would design special crests with symbols and colors that represented their family values and history. I think it would be really cool to design my own family crest! Maybe I'll put a pencil on it since I love writing so much.Overall, our first unit on family was a blast. I feel like I learned so many interesting words, facts, and cultural traditions related to families. Reading and writing the stories was my favorite part. I'm already looking forward to the next unit!In English class, we don't just learn vocabulary and grammar rules. We also get to be really creative with writing, arts and crafts projects, acting out stories, and lots of other fun activities. That's why English is my favorite subject. It makes learning feel like playtime!Up next, our unit is going to be all about different communities, like neighborhoods, towns, and cities. I'm super excited to read books and write stories that take place in imaginary communities. Maybe I'll even get to build a model town out of popsicle sticks or boxes! How cool would that be?I really hope you enjoyed reading my essay all about our first English unit on families. Writing it reminded me of how much I've already learned this year, and how much more I still have to look forward to. English class is always an adventure! If you have any other questions about what I've been learning, or if you need help with an English assignment of your own, just let me know. I'm always happy to practice my English skills. Thanks for reading!篇4Title: A Day in the Life of a Fourth GraderHi there! My name is Emily, and I'm a fourth-grade student at Sunny Hills Elementary School. Today, I'm going to share with you what a typical day in my life is like. Get ready for an exciting adventure!Every morning, my trusty alarm clock wakes me up at 7o'clock sharp. I rub the sleep out of my eyes and hop out of bed, excited for the day ahead. After getting dressed and brushing my teeth, I head to the kitchen for a delicious breakfast. My mom always makes sure I have a healthy meal to fuel my brain for learning. At 8 o'clock, it's time to grab my backpack and head out the door. I love walking to school with my best friend, Sarah. We chat about our favorite TV shows, the latest books we've read, and the games we played during recess the day before. As we approach the school gates, the familiar sound of the bell ringing fills the air. We hurry to our classroom and take our seats just as our teacher, Mrs. Johnson, greets us with a warm smile. The first subject of the day is English, which happens to be my favorite. We learn about grammar rules, practice reading comprehension, and work on our writing skills. I love how Mrs.Johnson makes learning fun by incorporating games and interactive activities.Next up is math, where we tackle challenging word problems and learn about different mathematical concepts. Even though it can be tricky sometimes, I find it rewarding when I finally understand a new concept and get the answers right. After math, it's time for recess! Sarah and I rush out to the playground, where we swing on the monkey bars, play hopscotch, and chase each other around. It's the perfect way to burn off some energy and enjoy the fresh air.Once we've had our fill of playtime, we head back to class for science and social studies. We learn about fascinating topics like the solar system, different cultures around the world, and the importance of taking care of our planet.Lunchtime is always a highlight of the day. I love unpacking my lunchbox and seeing what delicious treats my mom has packed for me. Sometimes it's a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, other times it's a tasty salad or a slice of pizza. No matter what, it's always delicious! After lunch, we have art and music classes, where we get to express our creativity through painting, drawing, singing, andplaying instruments. These classes are so much fun, and I always look forward to them.As the day winds down, we have our final subject, which is usually physical education or computer class. In P.E., we play exciting games like dodgeball, soccer, and basketball, while in computer class, we learn how to use different programs and navigate the internet safely. Finally, the bell rings at 3 o'clock, signaling the end of the school day. Sarah and I walk home together, chatting about our favorite parts of the day and making plans for after-school activities.Once I'm home, I have a nutritious snack and start on my homework. I like to get it done as soon as possible so I can have more free time later. After finishing my assignments, I might read a book, play outside, or help my mom with chores around the house. In the evening, my family gathers for a delicioushome-cooked meal. We talk about our days, share funny stories, and laugh together. It's my favorite part of the day because it's a time when we can all connect and enjoy each other's company. After dinner, I might watch a little TV or play a game with my siblings before it's time to get ready for bed. I brush my teeth, put on my pajamas, and snuggle under the covers with my favorite stuffed animal. As I drift off to sleep, I think about all the fun and exciting things I learned today, and I can't wait to do it all over again tomorrow. Being a fourth grader is the best!Well, that's a glimpse into my daily life as a student. I hope you enjoyed hearing about my adventures and all the wonderful things I get to experience every day. Until next time, stay awesome!篇5Title: A Magical Adventure in WonderlandOnce upon a time, there was a curious little girl named Alice. She lived in a small town with her loving parents and her furry cat, Dinah. Alice was a bright and imaginative child who loved reading books and dreaming of extraordinary adventures. One sunny afternoon, Alice was sitting under a large oak tree in her backyard, lost in the pages of her favorite book. Suddenly, she noticed a peculiar sight – a white rabbit wearing a waistcoatand carrying a pocket watch. The rabbit seemed to be in a hurry, muttering something about being late.Intrigued by this strange creature, Alice decided to follow it. She chased the rabbit through the tall grass and into a rabbit hole. Without hesitation, Alice jumped in, tumbling down a deep, dark tunnel that seemed to go on forever. After what felt like an eternity, Alice landed with a soft thud on a pile of leaves. She found herself in a magical world filled with talking animals, peculiar characters, and incredible sights. This was Wonderland, a place where nothing was as it seemed. As Alice explored this fascinating realm, she encountered a series of extraordinary beings. First, she met the Caterpillar, a wise and whimsical creature who sat atop a giant mushroom, puffing away on a hookah pipe. The Caterpillar spoke in riddles and offered Alice advice on growing and shrinking in size, which proved to be quite useful in her adventures.Next, Alice stumbled upon the Mad Hatter's Tea Party, where a group of zany characters, including the March Hare and the Dormouse, were engaged in a never-ending tea party. Despite their madness, Alice found them to be delightfully entertaining, and she joined them for a cup of tea and some delicious treats. As if the day couldn't get any more peculiar, Alice encountered the Cheshire Cat, a grinning feline with the ability to disappear and reappear at will. The Cheshire Cat's enigmatic smile and cryptic advice left Alice both amused and perplexed.Throughout her journey, Alice faced many challenges, from playing a bizarre game of croquet with live flamingos and hedgehogs as mallets and balls, to attending the trial of the Knave of Hearts, accused of stealing the Queen of Hearts' tarts. Alice found herself in the midst of chaos and absurdity, but she navigated it all with courage and wit. However, Alice's adventure took a dark turn when she encountered the tyrannical Queen of Hearts, who demanded that everyone obey her every whim. With her infamous cry of "Off with their heads!" the Queen struck fear into the hearts of all who crossed her path.In a climactic moment, Alice found herself on trial before the Queen, accused of being an impostor. Despite the absurdity of the charges, Alice stood her ground and refused to be intimidated. With a stroke of bravery, she challenged the Queen's authority and exposed the flaws in her logic.Suddenly, Alice felt a strange sensation, and everything around her began to fade. She realized that she was waking upfrom her dream, and Wonderland was slipping away. As she opened her eyes, she found herself back under the oak tree, with her faithful cat Dinah by her side.Although her adventure in Wonderland was nothing more than a dream, Alice knew that she had learned valuable lessons about courage, imagination, and the importance of questioning the norm. She vowed to carry these lessons with her throughout her life, always embracing the extraordinary and never losing her sense of wonder. From that day on, Alice cherished her magical journey and shared her incredible tale with anyone who would listen. And whenever she felt the weight of the篇6My Favorite SeasonMy favorite season is summer because there is no school and I get to have so much fun! Summer means freedom for three whole months. I don't have to wake up early, do homework, or listen to teachers all day. Instead, I can sleep in late, play outside for hours, and do whatever I want!Summer is the best time to be a kid. The days are long and sunny, perfect for swimming, riding bikes, having water balloon fights, and building forts or treehouses. My friends and I run around the neighborhood from morning until evening, only coming home when we're hungry or too tired to keep playing.I love going to the pool or beach in the summer. Floating in the cool water is so refreshing when it's hot outside. I have a collection of super soakers, water balloons, and pool toys that I can't wait to use each June. Having water fights with the neighborhood kids is one of my favorite summer activities. We come up with crazy games and get completely drenched, but it's worth it!Another great thing about summer is the warm nights. My parents let me stay up later, so I can play night games like flashlight tag, kickball, or just hang out with friends until it gets dark. We catch fireflies in jars and make s'mores over the fire pit. Lying on the grass stargazing with my family is one of my favorite things to do. The stars look so bright and clear on summer nights.Summer means no schedules, no homework, and three glorious months of freedom! I can stay up late, sleep in, and spend all day having fun in the sun if I want. We take fun familytrips, have barbecues and pool parties, and I get plenty of time to hang out with my friends without any school responsibilities. Those lazy days of summer are what I dream about all year long!By the time August rolls around, I'm starting to look forward to going back to school. I miss my friends and classroom routines after a few months. But those first couple weeks of summer are absolute paradise for a kid! We get to put away our backpacks, forget about tests and quizzes, and just be free to play, explore, and enjoy the warm, sunny days. Summer is the best season for being a kid, hands down. I wait all year for those magical three months of summer!。

Boy
He plays football with the boys on Sundays.

I liked green plants, clear rivers and lovely amimals there.I breathed the fresh air on the mountain and sometimes I went swimming in the river. I kept a diary every day.I liked not only the scene of the countryside, but also the people there. I helped them to do farm work. I also helped the children in the neighbourhood with their lessons. The children were interested in English. They were good at reading and writing, but did not do well in listening and speaking. I helped them improve their listening and speaking.

I learnt many songs and mastery of the song melody is more accurate, the feeling is getting better and better. This summer holiday, I also see the five books, and read them carefully. Through reading, I have mastered many cultural knowledge, also learned how to be, since the childhood should good good study, mutual humility, the courage to help others, polite, speak hygiene, etc.Summer weather is very hot, I have is to go swimming. Although Istill cant swim, but as long as the bubble into the swimming pool water, ah, the feeling is great!Every weekend in the evening, if the weather is good, my father will take me to the golden square skating while enjoy the music fountain. So, Im roller-skating now technology is becoming more and more good, I dare not only downhill, rubber band skipping, etc of difficult movements still dare to do.Also, in the summer solstice on the 8th of August on August 24, I enjoyed a high level Olympic Games, witnessed the athletes of our country, through their own efforts, has obtained the good result of 51 gold MEDALS. In the Olympics, of course, there is no best, only better. Gold is not important, name is not important. It is important to participate in, struggle, struggle, overcome yourself, beyond yourself, thats enough. This reminds me of the summer vacation to participate in the small TV host contest. Although I dont have to enter the final, I participated in, hard, this is great! Because I know, no matter what to do, as long as the earnest careful to do, the tenacity proved, beyond themselves, this is enough. As long as have confidence in yourself, it will have a successful opportunity. In retrospect, this summer vacation is happy, also is full. I not only learned many science and culture knowledge, but also very happy to play. Nearly two months holiday will be over, starts in a few days to sign up forclass. Summer vacation, Im playing high school, give priority to with play. School begins, this attitude will, in turn, should be played in learning, to give priority to in order to learn. In the new semester, I will remember this sentence: good good study, day day up!。

As a fourth-grade student, I have been learning English for a few years now, and I have recently been working on the second unit of my English textbook. This unit focuses on creating a small newspaper, which has been a really fun and interesting project for me. However, I have encountered a few problems along the way that I would like to address.Firstly, one of the challenges I faced when creating my English newspaper was coming up with interesting and engaging content. As a young student, it can be difficult to think of topics that would be appealing to my classmates and teachers.I wanted to make sure that my newspaper was not only informative but alsoenjoyable to read. I spent a lot of time brainstorming different ideas and eventually settled on writing about some of the fun activities and events happening in our school, as well as including some short stories and interviews with my classmates. This process taught me a lot about the importance ofcreativity and thinking outside the box when it comes to writing.Another issue I encountered was with the language and grammar. English is not my first language, so I often struggle with grammar and sentence structure. Ifound myself constantly referring back to my textbook and asking my teacher for help with certain phrases and tenses. It was a bit frustrating at times, but I knew that by working through these challenges, I would improve my English skills.I also realized that it's okay to make mistakes and that learning a new language takes time and practice. In addition to the content and language, I also had to consider the layout and design of my newspaper. I wanted it to look professional and visually appealing, but I didn't have much experience with graphic design. I spent a lot of time experimenting with different fonts, colors, and layouts until I found a style that I was happy with. This was a new and exciting learning experience for me, and I was proud of the final result.Furthermore, I faced a challenge in gathering information and conducting interviews for my newspaper. As a shy student, approaching my classmates and teachers for interviews was quite intimidating for me. However, I knew that it was an important part of creating a well-rounded newspaper. I pushed myself out of mycomfort zone and was pleasantly surprised by how willing my peers and teachers were to help me. This experience not only improved my interviewing skills but also boosted my confidence in social situations. Finally, one of the biggest challenges I faced was meeting the deadline for the newspaper project. With all the research, writing, editing, and designing, it was a lot of work to complete within the given timeframe. There were moments when I felt overwhelmed and stressed, but I persevered and managed to finish on time. This experience taught me the importance of time management and planning ahead, skills that will be valuable in all areas of my life.In conclusion, creating an English newspaper for the second unit of my textbook has been a challenging yet rewarding experience. I have learned a lot about creativity, language, design, communication, and time management. Despite the difficulties I faced, I am proud of the final result and the growth I have experienced throughout this project. I look forward to applying these skills in future English projects and continuing to improve my language abilities.。
