Looking after historic places

Example questions:

1. How do people in your country feel about protecting historic buildings? As I see it, in my country, most people are aware of the importance of protecting historic places, because they know that the historic places are priceless things which connect the pass to the present and even the future. Therefore, people in my country think protecting the historic monument is really necessary.

2. Do you think an area can benefit from having an interesting historic place

locally? In what way? In my opinion, people generally prefer to visit the historic areas. Consequently if there are historic buildings, they will attract more tourists to visit which will help develop local tourism and industrial zones. This will lead to the growth of service industries, restaurants, and entertainment. Besides that, it creates an excess profit and jobs galore for the local. So it can really benefit from having an enjoyable historic place locally.

3. What do you think will happen to historic places or buildings in the future? Why? I think the historic monuments probably will be degraded or even disappear in the future if we do not have any rational conservation policy. Because nothing can exist forever, the weather conditions such as rain, sunlight, winds, etc can also destroy them; in addition, human’s visit can also be the cause to destroy them.

What kinds of food do you like to eat? I like to eat Pho very much. I think that it is a kind of fast food that is easy to make. However, it also brings us many nutritious substances. Especially, Pho is one of the tradition foods of Vietnam.

What kind of new food would you like to try? [Why?]

The kind of new food I would like to try is Bun Moc. As I see it, it is the famous food in Kim Son – Ninh Binh and is introduced in everywhere in my country. However, I haven’t ever eaten. If I have the chance to go there, I will try eating it. Do you like cooking? [Why/ Why not?] Yes, I find cooking really interesting. Nowadays, cooking is an art and the cook could be seen as an artist. With me, It not only makes me feel relax but also help me become more clever. Moreover, it is also the way that I can show how much I care about my family. Therefore, I think that cooking is extremely necessary for women nowadays.

What was the last meal you cooked?

Yesterday, when my crony visited me, we prepared a small party to wish her happy birthday. Although I cannot cook many kinds of food, I made Chicken Fry that my friend likes best and this made her happier.

Do you prefer home- cooked food or food from restaurants? [Why?] It depends on situation. I like eating food from restaurant because when I go there, I can eat many kinds of new food from many different areas. However, I prefer home – cooked food because it is cleaner, less lipid and helps me avoid many diseases. Especially, I like intimate meals with all members in my own house.
