关于学生使用网络的调查英语作文
关于学生使用网络的调查英语作文Internet Use Among Students: A Kid's PerspectiveHi there! My name is Sammy, and I'm a fourth-grader at Oakwood Elementary School. Today, I'd like to share with you the results of a survey our class conducted on how students use the internet. It was a super interesting project, and we learned a lot about our online habits. To start with, our teacher, Mrs. Wilson, asked us all to raise our hands if we had access to the internet at home. Surprisingly, every single one of us did! I guess that's not too shocking, considering how common it is nowadays for families to have computers, tablets, or smartphones with internet access.Next, Mrs. Wilson asked us what devices we use to go online. Most of us said we use our parents' or siblings' smartphones and tablets, while a few mentioned having their own devices. I personally use my mom's old iPad to play games and watch videos on YouTube Kids. When it came to the question of how much time we spend online each day, the answers varied quite a bit. Some of my classmates said they only use the internet for an hour or two, mainly for schoolwork or watching a show. Others admitted tospending four or five hours online, especially on weekends when they have more free time. One of the most interesting parts of the survey was learning about what we use the internet for. As you might expect, playing online games and watching videos were among the top responses. But we also learned that many of us use the internet for educational purposes, like researching topics for school projects or practicing math and reading skills on educational websites.I was surprised to find out that quite a few of my classmates use the internet to communicate with family members who live far away. They use video chat apps like FaceTime or Skype to talk to their grandparents or cousins in different states or even different countries. How cool is that?Of course, we also had to talk about the potential dangers of the internet. Mrs. Wilson reminded us about the importance of online safety and never sharing personal information or talking to strangers online. She also warned us about the risks of cyberbullying and how harmful it can be.One thing that really struck me during the survey was how different our online experiences were, even though we're all around the same age and live in the same town. Some of myclassmates mostly use the internet for fun and entertainment, while others rely on it for education and staying connected with loved ones.Personally, I like using the internet for a mix of things. I enjoy playing games and watching videos, but I also find it helpful for researching topics that interest me, like dinosaurs or space exploration. Sometimes, I even use it to follow along with my favorite YouTubers who make educational content for kids.Overall, our class survey taught us that the internet is a big part of our lives as students, but we all use it in different ways. It's a powerful tool that can be used for learning, communication, and entertainment, but it's important to be aware of the potential risks and use it responsibly. That's my take on our internet use survey! I hope you found it interesting to hear a kid's perspective on this topic. Who knows, maybe someday I'll grow up to be a researcher or a writer and can share even more insights about how technology shapes our lives.。
大学生网课问卷调查及分析英语作文
大学生网课问卷调查及分析英语作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Here's an essay on "Online Course Survey and Analysis for College Students" written from the perspective of an elementary school student, approximately 2000 words in length:Online Classes? I Think They're Kinda Fun!Hi there! My name is Emma, and I'm in 5th grade. My big sister Katie is in college, and she's been taking online classes for a while now because of the pandemic thingy. At first, she wasn't too happy about it, but now she seems to like it a lot! She even asked me to help her with a survey about online classes for her assignment. How cool is that? So, Katie gave this survey to a bunch of her college friends, and they all answered questions about their experience with online classes. Then she asked me to help her analyze the results.I was super excited because I love math and numbers and all that good stuff! The first thing we looked at was how satisfied the students were with their online classes. Most of them said they were either "satisfied" or "very satisfied." Only a few said they were "unsatisfied" or "very unsatisfied." That's good news, right?Next, we asked them what they liked most about online classes. A lot of them said they loved the flexibility of being able to attend classes from anywhere. Some even said they could attend classes in their pajamas! Isn't that hilarious? Others said they enjoyed not having to commute to campus and saving money on gas and parking. But there were also some things they didn't like so much. A bunch of them said they missed the face-to-face interaction with their professors and classmates. Some of them felt like it was harder to stay motivated and focused when they were learning from home.We also asked them about the technology they used for their online classes. Most of them used video conferencing tools like Zoom or Google Meet. Some of them also used online discussion boards and chat rooms to communicate with their classmates and professors. One thing that surprised me was how many of them said they struggled with technical issues like slow internetconnections or problems with their computer or webcam. That must have been really frustrating for them!Overall, though, it seemed like most of the students enjoyed their online classes and found them to be a convenient way to continue their education during the pandemic. After we looked at all the results, Katie and I had to write up a report analyzing what we found. We made some cool charts and graphs to show the data in a fun way. Katie even let me use some colorful markers to decorate the report! One of the things we talked about in the report was how online classes could be improved. We suggested that maybe there could be more opportunities for students to interact with each other and their professors, like virtual study groups or office hours. We also thought it would be a good idea for colleges to provide better technical support and resources for students taking online classes. In the end, Katie got a really good grade on her assignment, and she even told me that my help was super valuable. I felt so proud of myself! So, that's my experience with helping my sister with her online class survey and analysis. It was a lot of fun, and I learneda ton about how college students feel about taking classes online. Who knows, maybe someday I'll even take some online classes myself! For now, though, I'm just glad I got to be a part of Katie's cool project.篇2Online Classes for Big KidsHi there! My name is Timmy and I'm 8 years old. I go to 3rd grade at Oakwood Elementary School. My big sister Samantha is in college and has been taking lots of her classes online because of the coronavirus pandemic thingy. I've been watching her do her online classes and it seems really different from regular school!First of all, Samantha doesn't have to wake up super early to catch the bus. She can just roll out of bed 5 minutes before class and log into her computer. No making her lunch or getting dressed up either! She literally wears her pajamas to virtual class. How awesome is that?! Sometimes her classes are really early in the morning though, like 8am. I'm usually just waking up then to get ready for my school day.Instead of lugging a heavy backpack full of books and binders, Samantha just needs her laptop and some notebooks. All her textbooks and materials are online which seems way easier than carrying tons of stuff around campus. Although she did say it's easier to get distracted and zone out when watching a lecture online versus being there in-person. The professors can't see if you're paying attention or not behind the computer screen!Samantha has virtual video meetings on this app called Zoom. It's kind of like FaceTiming with your whole class at once! The professor shares their screen and lectures over a video call. Everyone's tiny boxes are displayed and you can see their names and video feeds. It's weird though because sometimes students keep their cameras off or have funky virtual backgrounds. Samantha said one kid accidentally had a background of himself on the toilet! Lucky the professor didn't notice but Samantha thought it was hilarious.During the Zoom meetings, students can virtually raise their hand using a button if they have a question. Or they can type it in the chat box. It seems a lot less intimidating than raising your actual hand in a giant lecture hall. Samantha is pretty shy so she prefers using the chat. Although sometimes there's a crazy delay and everybody's mics get all messed up if too many people talkat once. Then it's just total chaos and nobody can hear the professor! For smaller discussion-based classes, Samantha's professors use a tool called Breakout Rooms. It splits the big class into smaller random groups so you can discuss things more easily. Samantha said it's really awkward at first when you get tossed into a tiny Zoom room with people you've never met. But it does help students interact better instead of just zoning out the whole time.In terms of assignments, everything is uploaded to thingscalled Learning Management Systems. That's where professors post all the readings, lectures, homework, quizzes and tests. Samantha takes hers on this thing called Blackboard. She has to submit all her papers and assignments by uploading them directly to Blackboard before a deadline. It seems superhigh-tech but also kind of confusing having everything online that way.Samantha said taking tests and quizzes online is both easier and harder. Easier because you can have notes up on other windows and maybe even find answers online (shhh don't tell!). But also harder because you have to type out all the responses and work double-time. Some classes use these insane lockdownbrowsers that disable everything else on your computer so you can't cheat. Samantha got really stressed once when the lockdown browser entirely kicked her out of the test and she had to get the professor to reset it.Beyond classes, Samantha has to do a lot of other stuff online now too. All her group project meetings happen over Zoom. She had a tutoring session on some video chat called WebEx. Even her faculty advisor meetings are virtual now so she can't just pop by during office hours. Everything is scheduled which seems like a big hassle! At least she saves money not having to buy a campus parking pass or burn gas driving to campus though. The hard part about online classes for Samantha is the loneliness and lack of interaction. She really misses being around other people and making friends in her classes. It's easy to feel isolated at home alone watching lectures all day. She doesn't get to explore the campus life or join clubs as easily either. Sometimes her Wi-Fi craps out which is pretty disastrous when you're in the middle of an important Zoom session. But other than the social isolation, loneliness, Wi-Fi issues, and lack of structure, Samantha said online classes are perfectly fine!Just kidding, she actually told me she reallyreally doesn't like online learning at all. She can't wait to go back to regularin-person classes. Apparently staring at a computer screen for hours on end gives you crazy headaches and eye strain. She said it's easy to feel unmotivated and lazy by staying in your pajamas all day. Time blurs together into one long endless day. There's no sense of separation between school, work, and home anymore.Buuuut I'd still way rather have online school than wake up at篇3Online Classes for Big KidsHi there! My name is Lucy and I'm 8 years old. My big sister Emily is in college and she has to take lots of online classes because of the coronavirus pandemic thingy. I've been watching her do her schoolwork from home and it seems really different from how I learn at my elementary school. Let me tell you all about it!Emily doesn't have to wake up super early to catch the bus anymore. She can just roll out of bed and log into her laptop for class. No more rushing around in the morning or getting stuck in traffic! Sometimes she even stays in her pajamas until lunchtime.I wish I could do that for school instead of having to get all dressed up.But online classes aren't just Emily lounging around all day. She still has to go to her lectures and participate, except they're all through her computer now. Her professors use these video rooms where everyone's face is displayed in little boxes on the screen. It looks kind of weird and different from a normal classroom.Emily has to keep her camera and microphone on so her teachers know she's paying attention. If she tries to mess around or look at her phone, they can see her! One time her cat Cleo jumped on the desk during class and Emily got in trouble for the disruption. Haha, that was pretty funny. The hardest part seems to be doing group projects with her classmates. Emily and her friends have to use video chat rooms and messaging apps to collaborate from their homes. It doesn't look very easy to work together that way. I'd way rather do group work in-person where we could put our heads together.Tests and exams are also really different with online classes. Emily has to take them through special lockdown browser software that disables cheating. A camera even watches her during the whole test! She has to sit at her desk the whole timeand show a blank workspace, kind of like a virtual testing center. It seems hard to concentrate at home with all the distractions around. There are some advantages to online classes though. Like how Emily can re-watch recorded lectures instead of just hearing things once. And she can attend virtual office hours with professors more easily. She also saves lots of money by not having to commute or buy expensive textbooks. Everything is cheaper online!Overall it seems like a real mix of good and bad compared to normal in-person classes. Emily doesn't get much socializing or hands-on learning opportunities. But she can learn in her comfy environment without wasting time on travel. She says it's taking her a while to adapt. The pandemic has lasted forever already though, so Emily expects she'll be doing online college for a while yet. At least until kids like me can get fully vaccinated against the virus. I hope we can go back to normal school and life soon! Sitting at home in front of a screen all day doesn't seem like much fun at all.I'll take old-fashioned classrooms over Zoom University any day. Being a big kid in college sure looks strange during these crazy times. Let me know if you want to hear more about myobservations of Emily's online learning experience. I've got plenty more funny stories to share!篇4Online Courses are Awesome!Hi everyone! My name is Timmy and I'm 10 years old. I just finished 4th grade and I love learning new things. My big sister Sarah is in college and she has been taking lots of online classes this year because of the coronavirus thingy. I helped her with a survey about her online courses and I want to tell you all about it!First of all, what even is an online course? Well, it's a class that you take on the computer or your phone instead of going to a real classroom. The teacher shares videos, assignments, readings and quizzes through special websites and apps. My sister uses Zoom a lot for her live lectures where she can see the professor and ask questions.I did a really cool survey to ask Sarah and her friends about their experiences with online learning. I made the questions myself with some help from Mom. I kept the survey open for two weeks and got篇5My Big Report on College Kids Taking Classes on the InternetHi! My name is Jamie and I'm in 4th grade. For my big project this year, I did a survey about college students who had to take their classes over the internet because of the COVID-19 pandemic. COVID-19 is a really bad virus that made a lot of people sick a few years ago. To try to stop it from spreading, schools and colleges had to shut down for a while and do all their learning from home on computers instead of in real classrooms.I thought it would be really interesting to learn about what it was like for the college kids to have to take all their classes online like that. I made a survey with 15 questions and got 200 college students from around the country to answer it. Then I looked at all their answers and made some graphs and charts to help me understand the data better. Here's what I found out!The first big thing I learned is that most college students really did not like having to take their classes fully online instead of in-person. A whopping 68% said they preferred in-person classes, while only 12% said they preferred online and 20% said they didn't mind either way. The reasons they gave for not liking online varied -- things like having a hard time paying attention, missing the social interaction, and struggling with technical difficulties. When I asked them to rate online learning on a scale of 1 to 10, the average rating was only 4.2 out of 10! Yikes, that's pretty low. The two biggest problems they said they faced were lacking motivation to complete assignments (72% said this was an issue) and struggling to learn effectively from pre-recorded lectures instead of live classroom instruction (66%). A lot of them said it was just really hard to stay focused when learning from home with so many distractions around. However, it wasn't all negative! Some students (32%) said one advantage of online classes was getting to learn at their own pace by re-watching recordings. And 28% said they enjoyed the flexibility of not having to commute to campus. But overall, it seems like most really craved that traditional in-person learning experience.Another major thing I looked at was how online learning impacted their grades. 44% of students said their grades stayed about the same, but 38% said their grades dropped while only 18% saw their grades improve. So for a good chunk of students, learning online really did seem to hurt their academic performance. Some wrote that they had a harder timeunderstanding concepts without being able to ask the professor questions in-person.I made a really cool bar graph showing the different technology problems students faced with online learning too. The number one issue, experienced by 82% of students, was having unreliable or poor internet connectivity. 60% said they lacked proper equipment like a laptop or webcam. And 45% struggled with learning how to navigate the online course software and tools used for video conferencing. Technological challenges were definitely a major source of headaches! The last part of my survey asked about mental health. A worrying 73% of students said they experienced increased levels of anxiety, stress, loneliness or other mental health issues due to the isolation of online learning. Some said they really missed getting that in-person guidance and struggled without as much accountability. Others just said it was lonely being stuck at home on the computer all day without that human interaction.Overall, while some students adapted well to online learning, it's clear that for most, it was a really challenging and unsatisfying experience compared to in-person education. Based on their responses, I think universities should try their best to stick to in-person classes as much as possible moving forward. But maybe keep some online options for students who do better that way or need more flexibility.Well, that's my big report! Conducting a real survey, analyzing data, and writing up my findings was a ton of work but I learned so much. I feel like I have a better understanding now of the huge disruption the COVID pandemic caused for college students. Hopefully we never have anything like that again where everything has to shut down! But if we do, now we know that online learning is probably not the ideal solution, at least not for most students. Let me know if you have any other questions!篇6Online Classes for College KidsHi there! My name is Timmy and I'm in 3rd grade. My big sister Jessica goes to college and I wanted to tell you all about the online classes she has to take. It's really weird but all her classes are on the computer now because of this virus thingy going around. I don't totally understand it, but I'll do my best to explain! So Jessica used to go to this big building called a campus where all her classes happened. There were all these rooms with desks and a teacher at the front writing on a big board. But nowshe doesn't go there at all. She just sits at home in her pajamas and looks at her laptop computer. Her classes are kind of like videos that her professors make. They talk and write stuff just like they did in the classroom, except it's all recorded. Sometimes there are even little quiz questions that pop up to make sure Jessica is paying attention. She has to watch all the videos and do assignments by certain deadlines.I think it would be cool to take classes that way because you could do it anywhere! Jessica takes her laptop to the park or a coffee shop to watch lectures sometimes. Although our mom doesn't like it when she tries to do schoolwork during our family movie nights. The worst part for Jessica is that she doesn't get to see her friends as much anymore. She says it's hard to stay motivated when you're just working alone at home all the time. There's no one to remind you about due dates or to study with. I can't imagine not getting to goof around with my buddies at recess every day!But there are some good things about online too. Jessica doesn't have to wake up super early to get ready and catch the bus. She can sleep in later since she doesn't have to commuteanywhere. She also saves money by not having to buy a meal plan or pay fees for the student center and stuff like that.Jessica says the biggest challenge is making sure she gets all her work done without a teacher watching over her shoulder. It's easy to get distracted by video games, YouTube, or just lazying around. She really has to push herself to stick to a routine and get everything turned in.Another thing Jessica complains about is all the group projects she has to do over video chat. It's harder to collaborate when you're not in the same room. People get their wires crossed, talking over each other, or having tech issues. She says it's pretty annoying when someone's audio keeps cutting out.But on the plus side, Jessica doesn't have to lug around a bunch of super heavy textbooks anymore! All her readings and assignments are posted online, so at least her backpack is lighter. She can even do quizzes and tests right on the computer instead of having to hand-write for hours.I asked Jessica if she likes online classes better than regular in-person ones. She said it's hard to decide because there are pros and cons to each. She doesn't love staring at a screen all day, but she does enjoy the flexibility and comfy clothes. I thinkshe's just happy she doesn't have to sit through boring 3-hour lectures anymore!Overall, it seems like online classes are helpful for stopping that virus from spreading more. But they also come with their own challenges for college kids like Jessica. She has to be really self-motivated and figure out how to stay focused at home. There's a lot more independence and responsibility. But I guess that's just part of being a grown-up in college!Well, that's all I know about the topic. Between you and me, I'm kinda glad I'm still a kid who gets to go to a normal school. Online classes sound like a huge pain! But I'll be cheering Jessica on as she finishes up her online degree this year. Let me know if you have any other questions!。
问卷调查关于网购英语作文
问卷调查关于网购英语作文Online shopping has become increasingly popular in recent years. People can now buy almost anything they want with just a few clicks. It's convenient and time-saving. However, there are also some drawbacks to this trend.Firstly, online shopping allows us to compare prices easily. We can browse different websites and find the best deals. This is especially useful when we are looking for specific items or brands. In addition, online stores often offer discounts and promotions, making it even more affordable. It's like having a virtual shopping mall at our fingertips.Secondly, online shopping provides a wide range of choices. We can find products from all over the world, without the need to travel. This is particularly beneficial for those living in remote areas or countries with limited options. We can explore different styles and trends, and even discover unique items that are not available in localstores. However, there are also some disadvantages to online shopping. One major concern is the quality of the products. Sometimes, what we see on the website may not match the actual item. Colors may be different, sizes may not fit properly, and materials may be of lower quality. This canbe frustrating, especially when we have high expectations based on the product description and images.Another issue is the delivery process. While online stores promise fast and reliable shipping, there are often delays or mishaps. Packages may get lost or damaged during transit, causing inconvenience and disappointment. Moreover, returning or exchanging items can be a hassle, as we haveto go through the process of packaging, contacting customer service, and waiting for a refund or replacement. In conclusion, online shopping has its pros and cons.It offers convenience, variety, and competitive prices. However, there are also risks of receiving poor quality products and experiencing delivery issues. As consumers, weneed to be cautious and make informed decisions when shopping online. After all, nothing beats the joy of physically trying on clothes or holding an item in our hands before making a purchase.。

.HistoryEnglish entrepreneur Michael Aldrich invented online shopping in 1979. His system connected a modified domestic TV to a real-time transaction processing computer via a domestic telephone line. He believed that videotex, the modified domestic TV technology with a simple menu-driven human–computer interface, was a 'new, universally applicable, participative communication medium —the first since the invention of the telephone.' This enabled 'closed' corporate information systems to be opened to 'outside' correspondents not just for transaction processing but also for e-messaging and information retrieval and dissemination, later known as e-business. His definition of the new mass communications medium as 'participative' was fundamentally different from the traditional definitions of mass communication and mass media and a precursor to the social networking on the Internet 25 years later. In March 1980 he went on to launch Redifon's Office Revolution, which allowed consumers, customers, agents, distributors, suppliers and service companies to be connected on-line to the corporate systems and allow business transactions to be completed electronically in real-time.Advantages1. ConvenienceOnline stores are usually available 24 hours a day, and many consumers have Internet access both at work and at home. Other establishments such as internet cafes and schools provide internet access as well. In contrast, visiting a conventional retail storerequires travel and must take place during business hours. In the event of a problem with the item (e.g., the product was not what the consumer ordered, the product was not satisfactory), consumers are concerned with the ease of returning an item in exchange for either the correct product or a refund.Consumers may need to contact the retailer, visit the post office and pay return shipping, and then wait for a replacement or refund. Some online companies have more generous return policies to compensate for the traditional advantage of physical stores. For example, the online shoe retailer includes labels for free return shipping, and does not charge a restocking fee, even for returns which are not the result of merchant error. (Note: In the United Kingdom, online shops are prohibited from charging arestocking fee if the consumer cancels their order in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Act 2000).2. Price and selectionOne advantage of shopping online is being able to quickly seek out deals for items or services provided by many different vendors (though some localsearch engines do exist to help consumers locate products for sale in nearby stores). Search engines, online price comparison services and discovery shopping engines can be used to look up sellers of a particular product or service.Shipping costs (if applicable) reduce the price advantage of online merchandise, though depending on the jurisdiction, a lack of sales tax may compensate for this.Shipping a small number of items, especially from another country, is much more expensive than making the larger shipments bricks-and-mortar retailers order. Some retailers (especially those selling small, high-value items like electronics) offer freeshipping on sufficiently large orders.Another major advantage for retailers is the ability to rapidly switch suppliers and vendors without disrupting users' shopping experience..Disadvantages1. Lack of full cost disclosureThe lack of full cost disclosure may also be problematic. While it may be easy to compare the base price of an item online, it may not be easy to see the total cost up front. Additional fees such as shipping are often not be visible until the final step in thecheckout process. The problem is especially evident with cross-border purchases, where the cost indicated at the final checkout screen may not include additional fees that must be paid upon delivery such as duties and brokerage. Some services such as the Canadian-based Wishabi attempts to include estimates of these additional cost, but nevertheless, the lack of general full cost disclosure remains a concern.2.PrivacyPrivacy of personal information is a significant issue for some consumers. Many consumers wish to avoid spam and telemarketing which could result from supplying contact information to an online merchant. In response, many merchants promise to not use consumer information for these purposes,Many websites keep track of consumer shopping habits in order to suggest items and other websites to view. Brick-and-mortar stores also collect consumer information. Some ask for a shopper's address and phone number at checkout, though consumers may refuse to provide it. Many larger stores use theaddress information encoded on consumers' credit cards (often without their knowledge) to add them to a catalog mailing list. This information is obviously not accessible to the merchant when paying in cash or through a bank (money transfer, in which case there is also proof of payment)..Impact of reviews on consumer behaviorOne of the great benefits of online shopping is the ability to read product reviews, written either by experts or fellow online shoppers. The Nielsen Company conducted a survey in March 2010 and polled more than 27,000 Internet users in 55 markets from the Asia-Pacific, Europe, Middle East, North America, and South America to look at questions such as "How do consumers shop online?", "What do they intend to buy?", "How do they use various online shopping web pages?", and the impact of social media and other factors that come into playwhen consumers are trying to decide how to spend their money on which product or service. According to the research, reviews on electronics (57%) such as DVD players, cell phones, or PlayStations, and so on, review on cars (45%), and reviews on software (37%) play an important role in influencing consumers who tend to make purchases online. Furthermore, 40% of online shoppers indicate that they would not even buy electronics without consulting online reviews first. In addition to online reviews, peer recommendations on online shopping pages or social media websites play a key role for online shoppers when they are researching future purchases. 90% of all purchases made are influenced by social media. Each day, over two million buyers are shopping online for jewelry..PurposeWe can't ignore the importance of online shopping. .ConclusionOnline shopping is becoming more and more important to people's life..Method1."The Alibaba phenomenon".
