为了推进学校一流大学建设，努力提高研究生培养质量，实现拔尖创新人才培养建设目标，促进研究生教育教学工作突破性发展，努力推进研究生教学工作改革，对部分英语基础比较好的研究生，实施英语课程免修（免上课、免考试），具体规定如下：
一、英语课程免修的对象：
第一外国语是英语的学术型博士研究生、工程博士研究生、学术型硕士研究生、专业学位硕士研究生（不包括外国语学院研究生）。
二、硕士研究生英语免修条件（满足下列条件之一）：
英语六级425分以上，雅思5.5分以上（成绩两年有效），托福85分以上（成绩两年有效）。
三、博士研究生英语免修条件（满足下列条件之一）：
英语六级425分以上，雅思5.5分以上（成绩两年有效），托福85分以上（成绩两年有效）。
四、成绩及学分：
记该课程的对应学分，成绩记“免修”。
五、申请步骤：
开学后2周内，学生填写《东北大学研究生英语课程申请免修登记表》（详见附件1），并持相关证件原件及复印件报所在学院研究
生教学科研办公室。
所在学院教学科研办公室核对证件原件并收证件复印件，审核无误后，汇总申报人员名单（格式见附件2）于第3周初上报研究生院。
六、其它
从2018级开始实施。
