教学目标与要求
1. 能听、说单词:big,small,long,short;能听懂It has…,并能用此句型进行描述所看到动物的特征。
2. 能整体理解对话大意,并能在语境中区分和运用“It has a +形容词+单数身体部位”和“It has +形容词+复数身体部位”的句型。
3.能听懂、会说单词:big ,small , long , short ,children
重点在情景中运用small, big, long, short, tall。
难点have 和has 的对比和运用,让学生在练习中得以掌握。

1 热身、复习(Warm-up/Revision)
(1)日常口语练习。
(2)教师播放A let’do的录音带。将cat, pig, monkey, mouse 的图片贴在黑板上。

(1)教师为学生播放本单元第一课时的教学录音,复习单词big, short, small,
tall。
(2)了解so 的用法。
so 在句子中的意思是:“强调某种程度”。
(3)教师出示单词卡片或实物对比的方法,再次认读并复习表示大小、长短的单词big, long, short, small, tall。
(4)根据学生对课件的记忆以及平日生活中的观察,让学生说说大象的眼睛、鼻子以及整
体的样子
S: The elephant has a long nose. It has big ears. It has a short tail. It is (so)big. 教师引导学生将这些句子用and连接在一起,并带读:Look at the elephant, It’s so big. It has a long nose and a short tail. It has small eyes and big ears.
T: Good ,boys and girls. You can talk about yourself. What about animals?Can you talk about them?Come here,children!Look at the elephant.(Ss:Wow!It’s so big.)It has a nose. It’s so long. Long.(做动作)Follow me,please.

1.Teaching long ,short,big ,small ,tail with a picture of an elephant.
2.继续用大象的图片和学过的句型It’s so…引导学生说出新句型It has …,并提醒学生区分运用单数名词和复数名词。
T:I t has a nose. It’s so long. Ss: It has a long nose.
T: It has a tail .It’s short. Ss: t has a short tail .
T: It has two ears. They are big . Ss:It has big ears.
T: It has two eyes. They are small. Ss: It has small eyes.
(5)再次播放Let’s talk / A 部分的教学课件,让学生跟读对话中的句子,模仿发音,要求自然生动。

1.看图说话比赛。
用课件打出B部分Let’s talk 和Let’s learn的图片,引导学生说出新句型It has...描述动物特征。
示例:
Look at the bird. It has a short tail. Look at the elephant. It has short legs.
2.语篇听读训练
A.引导学生看B部分Let’s talk的图,猜测人物的对话内容。
B.播放对话录音三遍,引导学生理解课文对话并依次回答问题:What does Chen Jie say about the elephant ? (It has a long nose.) What does John say about the elephant ? (It has a short tail.)What does Mike say about the elephant ? (It has small eyes and big ears.)
C. 学生打开课本听录音,师解释Come here,children.的意思。
D. 学生跟着录音朗读对话。
E. Read the conversation by themselves for three minutes.
F. 分角色扮演。
趣味操练(Practice)
让学生拿出事先准备好的画。先将学生手中的各个单词说一说,请几个能力较强的学生上讲台做示范,其他同学跟着学习。
