就从2008年要进行的江苏省新高考方案中的英语试卷的题型的分数分配来看,英语写作在总分120分的高考试卷中占到了25分,相比之前的英语高考试卷总分150分而英语写作也只有25分的比例,新的高考模式对英语写作提出了更高的期望和要求。

与此同时,英语写作的单词量的要求也由以前的120个单词提高到了150个单词。

因此,在高中英语教学中,如何帮助学生提高英语写作能力也成为一个师生越来越关注的话题。

高中生英语写作中存在的困难。

在目前的高中英语写作教学中,笔者发现大多数学生在英语写作上存在着较大困难。

具体表现在:作文内容贫乏,语言简单枯燥;语法、句法捉襟见肘,错误百出;在写作时常常受到汉语思维影响,产生我们常说的“Chinglish”。

而江苏省实施的《英语课程标准》和2008年《普通高等学校招生全国统一考试(英语科)考试大纲》要求学生在英语写作时要“在一定的语境中准确使用英语语法和词汇;使用一定的句型、词汇,清楚、连贯地用英语表达自己的意思。

”很显然,就大多数高中生的写作现状来看,他们很难达到课程标准和考纲的要求。

“焦虑”对于高中生英语写作的影响。

影响学生写作提高的因素是是多方面的,心理因素比如说“焦虑”也是其中重要的一个方面。

很多英语写作薄弱的学生平时在与老师的交流中都流露出“怕写作、厌写作”的情绪,有的学生说:“看到英语作文就焦躁。

因此,我们至少应当从因果两个方面考察焦虑的作用。

SIavm(2003)就焦虑对于学生语言学习的影响总结了大致3条:(1)焦虑影响学生的学习能力;(2)焦虑影响学生运用已经获取的知识;(3)焦虑影响学生的语言测试行为。

从焦虑源的角度看,根据GaMner,Smythe&Glicksman(1976:见Bailley,1995)的总结,焦虑和学生的言语技能水平有关。

也就是说,造成学生学习焦虑的一个因素是语言能力,尤其是语言表述能力;另一个因素是学习任务,包括语言测试;第三个因素是认知能力以及人格。

另外,缺乏自信心,以及对于新环境的不适都可能在一定条件下给学习者造成学习中的焦虑。

二、问题的提出不少成人学生学英语有这样的体会:开始时怕写作文,后来就越写越少,越不写越怕写,越怕写越写不出好作文,因而误人写作怪圈。

为了解成人学生英语写作能力现状,有针对性地开展写作教学,笔者对成人英语专业大二两个教学自然班65位学生作了一次英语写作障碍问卷调查。

调查分成写作训练、写作经历和对写作的看法三大板块,采用无记名方式进行,结果如下:有关英语写作训练的反馈显示约93%的学生写作原因是为了应付考试;写作练习频度随各任课老师要求的不同而不同,能基本做到每周一练者不过1/3,另有1/3学生隔周或每月练习一次,2%的人甚至表示除了考试从不动笔;写作体裁主要集中在各类应试题集内的作文题上,多为应用文和论说文。

horwitz(1986)设计了后来被广泛使用的“外语课堂学习焦虑量表”(flcas)。

该量表由33个问题组成,包括交际畏惧,考试焦虑及负评价恐惧三个方面。

近年来,国内也大量涌现与焦虑感相关的理论及实证文章。

这些都表明了焦虑感对英语学习的影响引起了广泛的关注,心理学家及语言教育工作者们都试图找到克服英语学习的焦虑对策。

二、研究方法(一)研究对象研究对象为某大学非英语专业大一64名学生。

“写作过程教学法”、“过程体裁教学法”、“写长法”等方
法,使学生的注意力从结果(product)引向过程(process),试图用解决问题、完成任务(task)的成就感冲淡以前伴随着结果的不愉快经验,改善对失败过分敏感的心态,以及写长作文逐渐消除恐惧心理。

这种方法主要体现在英语写作任务的布置上,布置任务时应充分考虑到学生的外语水平、知识面和兴趣。

研究(马广惠、文秋芳,1999)表明,新鲜有趣、切近生活、与学生的语言水平相当的题目或任务会激发其兴趣和点燃写作激情。

具体做法可参考以下四个方面。

2.1范文分析
把写作技能的教学与阅读等知识课程结合起来,让学生
了解到写作的源泉来自于自己阅读的感想,或对阅读文章的认识。

的错误采取宽容态度,批改作业时将重点放在肯定其优点上,使用简单的评语标出准确用词、精彩句子和思想亮点,有助于保护学生脆弱的信心,激发他们的进取精神。

同时,写长作文有利于克服无话可说的困境。

2.3课堂话题探讨
根据学生的心理年龄特征,设计符合他们所思所想的作
文题。

这个时期的学生想象力丰富,思想活跃,但想象的激发在一定程度上以兴趣为条件。
