Many people have moved from agricultural jobs to manufacturing positions in factories, which offer higher wages and better working conditions. This has helped reduce poverty and improve living standards for many Chinese workers and their families. However, the rapid expansion of the manufacturing sector has also led to environmental problems. China is the world's largest emitter of greenhouse gases and is facing severe air and water pollution as a result of its industrial activities. The government has recognized the need to address these issues and has implemented policies to promote sustainable manufacturing practices, reduce emissions, and improve environmental protection. In terms of social impact, Chinese manufacturing has led to significant changes in urbanization and migration patterns. Many rural residents have moved to cities to work in factories, which has fueled rapid urbanization and led to the development of mega-cities such as Shanghai and Shenzhen. This has created opportunities for social mobility and enabled many people to improve their living standards. On the other hand, the manufacturing sector has also faced criticism for labor rights violations, including long working hours, low wages, and poor working conditions. Workers in some factories have been exposed to hazardous chemicals, suffered from repetitive strain injuries, and faced discrimination and harassment. This has raised concerns about the need to improve labor rights protections and ensure safe and fair working conditions for all workers. Moreover, Chinese manufacturing is also facing challenges from technological advancements and automation. As other countries develop more advanced manufacturing technologies, China risks losing its competitive edge in low-cost production. The government has responded by promoting innovation, investing in research and development, and encouraging the adoption of digital technologies in manufacturing processes.Overall, Chinese manufacturing has had a profound impact on the country's economy, society, and environment in the past decade. While it has brought significant benefits in terms of economic growth, job creation, and improved living standards, it also faces challenges related to environmental sustainability, labor rights, and technological innovation. Moving forward, China will need to strike a balance between promoting economic growth and addressing these challenges to ensure a sustainable and inclusive future for its manufacturing sector.。

To tell the truth, in the past I was proud of the slogan “Made in China” because once China made the best tea,the best silk, the best china and when you use a a pen, when you buy a plate, even when you put on your socks, you may find the slogan “made in China”.Chinese were seen as the cleverest people in the world. But now,I am worried about the slogan “made in China”,just like what president Mao once said “We can make tables and chairs but we can not make planes and cars”,it seems that “Made in China”become making products mechanically. Why?
I heard a story. There were two workers making chairs. One person thought how to be effective everyday, although he was not as fast the first few days,he made a machine to help him doing the boring work and finally be became a manager because of his effectiveness. The other one, however, paid a lot of time making chairs, many years later he was still a chair maker.Maybe a practical chair maker. That’s a sad story because sometimes working hard doesn’t means getting most repays.Set Apple company as an example,I admit it’s really hard to supply ideas, but compared with China, does not China pays a lot too?Materials, labors, lands, enviroment ...But why an ipone 6 is 6000yuan while Chinese workers can only get 100 yuan?Maybe the reason is that we can make a phone, but we can not create an Iphone.Chinese are famous for working hard, however,if we Chinese keep imatating and making the same products without innovating,we can not develope and get a new result.
I’m seriously thinking about the reason why “made in China”means “lack of innovation”and I think the origin is our education.Since we were children,we were told what is right and what is wrong, the sky is blue the apple is red,but we have never been told why and we have never tried to change it.Now,I know that innovation and imagination can never be replaced by books and experience.
I hope that one day, when a little boy draws a blue apple, the teacher can say:GOOD JOB!Try to plant an apple tree like that in the future instead of:WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!!CALL YOUR MOTHER!!!And I believe that one day “Made in China”will let we every Chinese feels proud again, and we will have more products created by ourselves!!!!。
