《大学英语Ⅱ》教学大纲一、课程基本信息:课程名称:《大学英语Ⅱ》英文名称:College English课程编号:101B0002课程类型:通识基础课适用专业:非英语专业开课学期:第2学期学时: 36学分: 3前导课程:《大学英语Ⅰ》二、课程的性质、目的与任务:大学英语属于通识基础课范畴,它融听、说、读、写、译五项技能为一体,授课对象为大学本科一二年级非英语专业的学生,课程类型为必修课。

其主要目的是培养和提高学生学习及运用英语的综合能力,尤其是加强对学生听说能力的培养,并且注重对学生会话技巧和口语的训练。

此课程通过对语言基本功的训练和篇章结构的分析以及对英语听说能力,会话和口语的训练,使学生熟悉英语常用句型并逐步扩大词汇量,提高英语阅读理解能力,为提高口语及写作能力打下坚实的基础。

同时明确了大学英语的目标是培养学生的英语综合应用能力,特别是听说能力,使他们在今后学习、工作和社会交往中能用英语有效地进行交际,同时增强其自主学习能力,提高综合文化素养,让学生了解英语各种文体的特点,帮助学生获取不同文化背景知识,拓宽学生的知识面,以适应我国社会发展和国际交流的需要。

三、课程教学内容、基本要求和重点及难点:大学英语课的教学基本要求是以外语教学理论为指导,经过语言学家的多年反复研究与测试而后提出的,对学生的语音、语法、词汇、听力、口语、写作、翻译等都有相应的规定。

基础阶段结束时对学生的基本技能要求如下:语音:发音正确;较好地掌握朗读和说话的节奏感,掌握语流中的语音变化规律,掌握各种句式。

语调;初步掌握语段中语音轻重和新旧信息传递之间的关系。

语法:初步掌握句子之间和段落之间的衔接,以词尤其是动词的各种语法点为主。

词汇:全书词汇859个,要求掌握的积极词汇为300个。

口语:能在一般社交场合与英语国家人士交谈,做到正确表达思想,语音、语调自然,无重大语法错误,语言基本得体。

阅读:能读懂中等难度的文学作品。

要求在理解的基础上抓住要点,并能运用正确观点评价思想内容,阅读速度为每分钟100-160单词,理解正确率不低于60%。

自考英语(二)教学大纲

自考英语(二)教学大纲一、课程性质英语(二)是各专业本科段必修的公共基础课。

通过考试, 学生可得14学分。

二、使用教材《大学英语自学教程》(上下册), 上册共25单元, 下册15单元。

三、教学目的英语(二)的目的是使学习者能比较熟练地掌握英语基础知识和语言技能, 做到具有较好的阅读能力、一定的英译汉能力和初步的听、说写及汉译英的能力, 为获取专业所需要的信息及进一步提高英语水平打下较扎实的基础。

英语(二)考纲规定本课程的目的是英语的基本词汇和语法。

课程的主要目的是培养阅读能力。

具体地说, 从以下几方面体现:(一)词汇:学生应掌握英语单.380.个和常用词.75.个。

具体要求:1.能流利地读出,语音基本正确.2.能识别并说出词的语法特征,主要指词类和形态变化。

例如:名词单数变复数规则;动词的过去式、过去分词、现在分词、不定式、单数第三人称变化;形容词和副词的比较级和最高级形式.3.能说出汉语词义,对比较常用的词要能英汉互译,拼写正确并记住固定搭配.4.了解基本的构词规则,记住常用前缀、后缀的意义,并能根据构词规则猜测词性和词义.(二)语法: 了解和掌握英语基本语法知识。

英语(二)要求掌握的主要语法有: 词类和句子成分、基本句型、句子结构、形容词的比较级和最高级、动词的时态语态和语气、动词的非谓语形式、从句、倒装句、和强调句。

(三)阅读: 阅读能力应达到能阅读与教材后期课文难度相当的一般性材料。

生词不超过所读词数的3% , 速度为每分钟30 个词, 理解基本正确。

(四)翻译:分为两个部分, 一是英译汉, 要求能将阅读的材料译成汉语, 译文基本正确, 文字通顺;二是汉译英, 要求能把结构比较简单、由常用词构成的汉语句子译成英语, 译文基本正确。

四、教学要求与原则(一)重在培养学生的技能学习英语主要是学习一种技能, 这与学习许多其他学科, 如数学、经济、哲学等有所不同。

学英语不仅要求掌握必要的英语知识(如语音、词汇、语法)和相关的文化知识, 而且要拥有运用这些知识的能力和技巧。

该课程的教学对象为本科一二年级学生。

总学时 360,总学分 22.5。

该课程是一门综合技能课,主要通过语言基础训练与篇章讲解分析以及大量的交际实践练习,使学生逐步提高语篇阅读理解能力,了解英语各种文体的表达方式和特点,扩大词汇量和熟悉英语常用句型,具备基本的口头交际能力与笔头表达能力。

通过本门课程帮助学生打好坚实的语言知识基础,培养和提高学生综合运用英语的能力,促进学生学习策略的形成、发展和完善。

英语II课程教学大纲英语课程教学大纲(试行)—公共英语课—英语II一、教学对象本课程为广播电视大学公共英语课,供各类专业的专科和本科根据该专业的培养要求选择开设。

二、教学目的与要求通过英语课程的学习,学生应能掌握一定的英语语言基础知识和基本技能,具有一定的读、听、写、说的能力,从而能借助词典阅读和翻译一般性业务资料,在涉外交际的日常活动和业务活动中能进行一般性的书面交流和简单的口头交流,并为今后进一步提高英语的应用能力打下基础。

鉴于广播电视大学实行开放办学,学生入学时的英语水平差异较大,公共英语课程设置不同层次的三个教学模块,使各专业可以根据该专业培养要求和学生的具体条件为专科和本科选择开设适当的英语课程。

英语I为公共英语课程的预备阶段,专科应达到英语II的要求,本科应达到英语III的要求。

英语课程在加强英语语言基础知识和基本技能训练的同时,重视培养学生实际使用英语进行交际的能力。

英语II的基本要求为:通过本阶段学习的学生应能掌握2,800左右的常用词汇(包括英语I要求掌握的1,600词)以及相关的常用词组;能够掌握并正确运用基本的语法知识;能够听懂日常生活中发音清楚、语速较慢的简短对话或陈述,并能用英语进行简短的日常交谈;能够阅读中等难度的一般题材的简短英文文字材料,理解正确,并能够读懂通用的简短实用文字材料,如通知、介绍和广告等;能够写简短的应用文,如日记、信函、通知等。

三、教学内容与安排英语II总学时为108学时,6个学分,分2个学期开设,每学期54学时,3个学分。

本课程的教学内容在选材上应注重语言材料的真实性,贴近生活,富有时代气息,能够学以致用;内容集知识性、趣味性与思想性为一体。

(详见附录)四、媒体使用与教学过程建议英语课程的教学媒体设计既要按照英语教学的自身规律,又要考虑不同教学媒体的特点,努力使两者做到有机的结合。

文字教材和录音带是本课程教学内容的主要载体。

文字教材的编写要便于学生自主学习,注意学习能力和学习策略的培养,充分考虑成人业余学习的特点。

录音带的主要作用是训练和提高学生的听说能力,其内容设计要结合文字教材,为学生提供有声的语言,同时要着意设计能够帮助实现听说教学要求的练习活动。

录像/电视课是本课程的重要教学媒体,在较为系统地讲授并操练语言基础知识和技能的同时,要注意发挥电视声像结合的优势,为学生展现语言在真实环境中的使用并提供一定的文化背景知识。

录像/电视课应为学生接触真实、地道的英语语言提供条件,并能激发学生学习英语的兴趣。

计算机辅助学习课件和计算机网络为英语学习提供了更为丰富的语言素材和教学资源。

本课程应积极开发此类交互性强的现代教学媒体,并充分利用学习小组、讲座、英语角、多种媒体自学中心等,在学习过程中为学生提供良好的语言学习环境和支持服务。

英语是实践性很强的课程,学习过程本身就是语言能力不断提高的过程。

本课程以学生利用多种媒体教学资源自主学习为主,辅之以面授辅导课。

辅导课除讲解重点、难点和答疑外,应开展一些语言技能的训练,尽量为学生提供口头交流的机会。

五、测试测试是检查教学大纲执行情况、评估教学质量的一种有效手段,是获取教学反馈信息的主要来源之一,是改进教学工作的重要依据。

本课程在考核学生的英语语言基础知识的同时,应着重考核学生实际运用语言的能力。

本课程的测试由形成性考核和课程终结考试两部分组成,形成性考核占总成绩的30%,课程终结考试占70%。

形成性考核内容和方式严格按照“开放英语(1)形成性考核及学习档案”的具体要求执行。

课程终结考试包括大纲规定掌握的基本语言知识和技能,按照各学期的“英语课程考核说明”命题。

六、教学中需注意的问题1、成人高等教育培养的是应用型专门人才,英语课程教学不仅应注重打好语言基础,更要注意培养实际应用语言的能力,在传授语言、文化知识的同时,注意思想、文化素质的培养。

2、重视语言学习的规律,正确处理读、听、写、说之间的关系,确保各项语言能力协调发展。

尤其要注意在开始阶段加强听说能力的培养,克服成人羞于开口的心理障碍。

可以利用录音带等媒体手段设计一些跟读、朗读或自录音的活动,鼓励学生开口说英语。

3、英语课程应有助于学生开阔视野,扩大知识面,加强对世界的了解,进一步提高文化素养。

在教学中要注意文化和语言之间的密切的联系,因为文化背景知识的学习有助于促进语言应用能力的提高。

4、英语课程教学大纲中的分阶段实施教学的设计使分类教学成为可能,各专业可根据专业培养要求和学生的实际水平选择开设不同层次的课程。

对于英语水平距离专业基本要求相差较远的学生,应在学习必修的英语课程之前利用较低层次的课程进行补课。

5、电大教育的特点是“成人、业余、实用”。

在教学中应该充分发挥成人理解力、逻辑思维能力强,有一定的本族语基础和文化背景知识的优势,同时注意克服成人学习外语的不利因素,如模仿力较差、母语的干扰、怕开口等。

成人学生大多是从业人员,工学矛盾突出,自学时间难以保证,但是他们的学习动机明确,积极性高。

因此,在编写教材和教学辅导中应充分考虑到这些特点,如在选择教学内容时应本着“实用为主,够用为度”的原则,在教学中应讲究方法,注意复习巩固,充分调动成人学习的有利因素,帮助学生选择适合自己的学习方法,养成良好的学习习惯,提高自学的能力。
