“半个小时后,我们到达一个岔口处。这时细雨已经变成了风雪,狂风卷着雪花漫天飞舞。我们蜷缩在一道雪坡下面,三个人紧紧地靠在一起,我头痛欲裂,胸腔里仿佛塞了一团棉花,呼吸极其困难。我看了表是上午11时,四周却是一片迷蒙,能见度不足10米,耳边只有风声在呜呜地吼叫,像是在倾诉着什么,又像是在抗议着什么。我知道5396米的峰项离我们不远,但我们却看不到它,它就躲在风雪的背后,云层下面,但它肯定看得见我们……想到这里,心中一阵难以名状的恐惧感油然而生。

“向导这时幽幽地说道:‘朋友,跪下吧,乞求它的宽恕,祈求它保佑我们平安下山。’说罢,双膝跪倒,朝着峰顶双臂展开,身子深深地伏了下去,我们俩不由自主地也跟着他跪了下去。

“这时,奇迹出现了。峰顶顿时风起云涌,一缕阳光从乌云间剑一般的刺了下来,紧紧地钉住我们。不一会儿,云层散去,一座晶莹剔透的雪峰就这样呈现在了我们面前,它纯洁、孤傲、挺拔……像一位宽容的母亲,慈祥地看着我们。
