Since traveling can give us so many benefits,it comes as no surprise that I like traveling. The Hope ProjectWhen we are sitting in the classroom,do you know how many other child ren can’t go to school? They are forced to leave school for lack of money. So we should help them in order to let them go back to school. But as a s tudent, what can we do for the Hope Project? It’s easy to answer the quest ion. Now,we have more and more pocket money. We can save some for t he Hope project. And also,we can donate our pencils, pens and books to t he children who can’t go to school. We can make friends with them and e ncourage them not to lose heart. If everyone gives his love to the Hope Pr oject, our society will become more beautiful. The Importance of Enjoying Good HealthAs the proverb says‘health is above wealth, and health is happiness.’It’s very important to enjoy good health.Anyone who doesn’t have good heal th can’t live happily. How to enjoy good health? In my opinion, there are at least four ways to do so.First, eat properly,be sure to have rice, vegeta bles, meat, fruit, egg and milk every day.Second, have a good rest.Enjoying a good sleep is also very important.Third, have sports and exercise ev ery day, because life lies in st but not least, keep yourself relaxe d.If you can follow all the directions outlined above, you are sure to enjo y good health.Teenage SmokingThere has been an alarming increase in teenage smoking in the past20ye ars. This fact has become a question that we must pay attention to.The fa ctors for this case are complex.First,I think curiosity is the main reason. Many youngsters want to experience the pleasure of smoking when they s ee others doing that, and they also want to have a try,the second factor is also psychological. As the youngsters haven’t realized the harm of taking up this habit, they only think that smoking shows maturity. They want to be regarded as the grown-ups through smoking. For all these reasons,it c omes as no surprise that teenage smoking has become a serious social pro blem.Water and LifeLife depends on water. So water is one of the most important things in ou r life. However, according to a recent survey we find water dirtier and dirt ier,and even polluted by the near by factories.I can hardly imagine what the world would be if we continued to use the polluted water. On the onehand, some kinds of animals are dying out.Fish suffer from the dirty and poisonous water more directly,so we are more likely to find it difficult to see fish swimming in the river then ever before. How to Solve the Traffic ProblemWhen we go out in rush hours,we are always caught in a traffic jam.Man y people complain about the heavy traffic which has seriously influenced people’s life.It has become one of the biggest problems in the big cities li ke Shanghai. Some suggest the government should construct more roads. In this way,the traffic density can be obviously reduced and the buses an d cars can go faster.Others suggest that the number of bicycles and cars s hould be limited, but it is very inconvenient to people. In short, the gover nment should develop proper traffic means and bring more benefit to peo ple in the near future. How to Solve the Energy CrisisAccording to a recent survey, energy crisis has become one of the biggest problems in the world. If we don’t take any measures, sooner or later we will be threatened by the energy crisis. In many countries, people who ha ve realized the problem have suggested the governments should narrow th e great drain on the country’s resources when it isn’t necessary enough to save the limited resources. In addition, the inhabitants and factories should limit their serious consumption of energy. The best and effective way,I think,is to develop new energy such as solar energy, unclear energy and o ther unknown energy.TV and NewspaperWith the development of science and technology,TV plays an important part in our life. While it is believed that it is convenient for people to get i nformation,I believe that newspapers are the best sources of information. It is true that TV offers us sounds and pictures. The advantages of newsp apers are reflected in many aspects. For one thing, news in papers is repor ted in detail and we can be well-informed about what is happening of the day.For another, reading newspaper can enhance our ability to read and st,we can choose what we like.In short, the newspaper is an eff ective means of communication. The Relationship between Teachers and StudentsAs the proverb says,“A great teacher produces a brilliant student.”This i s unchangeable truth. In my opinion,a good relationship between teacher s and students is becoming more and more important. There are several re asons for my opinion. To begin with,a good relationship between teacher s and students can help us achieve the desired effect and it is an ideal patt ern to all of us.Another reason is that if teachers and students cooperatewell,it does good to both of them.Personal experience shows that in proc ess of teaching an learning,a good relationship between a teacher and a st udent is important indeed. The Problem of Fast FoodIn present- day China,we can find two types of fast food:western and Ch inese.Fast food, both Chinese and western has several advantages. In the first place, fast food,as is characterized by its name,is fast. The food is al ways ready and fresh, waiting for its customers. This saves people’s preci ous time, and consequently goes well with the tempo of life in modern so ciety.Secondly, fast food restaurants are comfortable.Clean dishes, shiny tables, decent service and light music all stimulate people’s appetite to ea t more.As every coin has two sides, fast food also has its disadvantages s uch as lack of nutrition.Nevertheless, these are minor points compared w ith its advantages。

There are now more than 500 Laughter Clubs in India and over 1,300 worldwide. So, what happens at a Laughter Club? I went along to my nearest club in South London to find out. I was quite nervous about it , to be honest ----I wasn't keen on the idea of laughing with a group of strangers, and I was worried about looking stupid. First, our laughter teacher told us to clap our hands and say "ho ho ho, ha ha ha," while looking at each other. Amazingly, it works. After ten minutes everybody in the room was laughing for real —and some people just couldn't stop! At the end of the class I was surprised by how relaxed and calm I felt.
