2.并列句。

并列句是指由并列连词and、but、or等把两个或两个以上的简单句连在一起而构成的句子。

作状语的过去分词短语改写为状语从句的时候,往往是改为被动语态形式。

如:Seen from the hill(=When it is seen from the hill),the city looks magnificent.Depressed(=Since he was depressed)。

he went to see hiselder sister。

They came in,followed by some children.=They came in and were followed by some children.【易错题2】___the project as planned, we’ll have to work two more hours a day.A. CompletingB. CompleteC. CompletedD. to complete(2)作结果状语,可以表示没有预料到的或事与愿违的结果,不定式要放在句子后面。

不定式作结果状语的常用结构:①never to do表示“再也没有”。

如:In 1935,he left home never to return.1935年,他离开家再也没有回来。

这里用动词不定式的被动形式表示将来被做。

总的说来,能跟过去分词或现在分词作宾语补足语的动词大致可分为三类:(1)make,get,have,keep等使役动词,此类动词使用最广泛。

如:The thief kept his money hidden inhis shoes.那个小偷把钱藏在鞋里。

(3)like,want,wish,order等表示希望、要求、命令等意义的词。

如:The manager doesn’t like suchquestions discussed at the meeting.经理不喜欢在会上讨论这样的问题。

另外,动词不定式做宾语补足语表示将来要做的事情。

能跟动词不定式作补足语的动词主要有以下几类:(1)下列动词常用“动词+宾语+不定式”的结构:advise劝告,allow允许,ask要求,邀请,beg请求,cause引起,command命令,encourage鼓励,entitle使有资格,forbid 禁止,force强迫,get请,得到,help帮助,invite吸引,邀请,lead引起,mean意欲,打算,need需要,order命令,permit允许,persuade劝导,prefer喜欢,宁愿,recommend 劝告,推荐,remind提醒,request请求,require要求,teach教,tell告诉,want想要,warn告诫,wish希望。

如:Father will not allow us to play on the street.父亲不让我们在街上玩耍。

易错点5非谓语动词作宾语的误用【易错题l】Bill suggested a meeting on what to do for the Shanghai Expo during the vacation.A. having heldB. to holdC. holdingD. hold【解析】考生容易误选B项,忽视了suggest后面只能接动名词而不能接动词不定式作宾语的用法。

(未做但要做)(5)try to do sth.努力/企图做某事;try doing sth.试验/试一试某种办法。

如:You must try to bemore careful.你可要多加小心。

Let’s try doing the work some other way.让我们试一试用其他办法来做这项工作。

(6)mean to do sth.打算/有意要做某事;mean doing sth.意味着做某事。

如:I didn’t mean to hurtyour feelings.我不是有意要伤害你的感情。

This illness will mean(your)going to hospital.得了这种病(你)就要去医院。

易错点6不善于分析句子结构。

表示做某事有/没有困难的结构:have some/great/no/little…dimcult y/trouble with sth.在做某事方面有些/很大/没有……困难He has much dIfficulty/trouble(in)pronouncing some English words.他读某些英语单词时困难很大。

He has much difficulty/trouble with his English pronunciation.他在英语发音方面有很大困难。
