然而，很多时候，要执行这样一套冗长繁复的步骤并不实际，莫索普（ 2001:124-125）于是精选出了一套更为简短的步骤： 1）如果是自我修订，在翻译成稿过程中就尽可能做修订，最后再 进行拼写检查。 2）检查“外观”参数。数清段落和罗列的要点以确保没有大的遗 漏，也要特别注意专有名称、日期和其它数字都翻译无误。如果是口述 并自我修订，那么也要注意消除誊写错误。 3）单独读一遍译文以检查“内容”、“语言”和“外观”参数， 只在有必要澄清“逻辑”问题时查看原文。 4）单独做一遍双语对比检查。不要停下来做风格（“流畅”、“ 使用”和“次语言”方面的问题）变动，只改动发现的重大语言错误， 进行拼写检查。如果是逆译入非母语，不要运用该步骤。同母语使用者 相比，则更需要单纯以检查语言为目的的阅读，所以运用3）或5）。 5）以合适的顺序做两次细读：一次单语的和一次对比的。

（２）修改原则
1）如果不看原文就无法理解译文，则必须对其做出修改。 2）如果有一句话需要读两次才能正确理解，则必须对其做出修改。 3）避免完美主义。 4）不要重新翻译。 5）小心不要增添新的错误。 6）对于不属于你现在正在检查的特征，少做改动。 （３）处理无法解决的问题 １）理解概念但找不到正确的术语。 2）无法决断两种解释哪种正确。 3）无法消除译文不同段落之间的相互矛盾。 4）根本无法理解整段话。 CFLL NWNU
