After their high school lives, they were having trouble finding things to do in their free time in the university. When I asked them to talk about their high school lives, many of them told me theygot up at six in the morning and studied until ten at night. Most of this time was spent at school, doing a lot amount of homework to help them prepare for the university entrance exams. Once they entered the university, in my opinion, the students should not spend all their time studying. they should also take part in some after-school activities. So they should learn to make plans for their time outside of the class between sports and clubs. What’s more, they should spend some time watching TV and chatting with their roommates. These activities are useful in helping them prepare for their future. But what made me most surprised was that many of them did not seem particularly happy about their new freedom. As they had so many choices, they felt that no matter what they were doing, they should be doing something else. That’s why they were not happy. To those students, my advice was, get used to it and learn to make decisions for yourselves.训练题(三)1.Which lady is your new English teacher?2. The visitors might think that the Indian did not like what they said. But, in fact, they would be completely wrong.Indians always shake their heads when they talk to others. It does not have the same meaning as our “No”. If someone wants to visit India, he would say, he should know this, or it will give him some trouble. One day, a foreign officer went to India on business. He hired a car and an Indian to drive it. When he told his driver to send him to his office, the Indian shook his head again. At last, the office got angry.“How dare you refuse my order?” he shouted. “Drive me to my office at once!”The driver answered in quite loud voice, too. “Yes, sir!” But to the officer’s surprise, the driver shook his head at the same time. The car started, and the foreign officer was now too surprised to say a word. M: I heard you will move into a new flat soon.W: Yes, but it’s more expensive. My present neighbor plays the piano all night long.10. M: The flight for France left 15 minutes ago?W: That’s right. Poor guy, you must have regretted going there.M: Of course not. You see, I’m getting one more week for a better rest.16. Mr and Mrs White and their children were going to spend a holiday in Shanghai. They had to be at the airport before one fifteen in the afternoon. Mrs White said, “We will have to be ready by 12 o’clock, or we will be late.” At 12 o’clock they were ready except Mrs Smith herself. To my surprise, many of them were disappointed after their high school lives. They were having trouble finding things to do in the free time in the university. When I ask them to talk about their high school lives, many of them told me they got up at six in the morning and studied until ten at night. Those of this time were spent at school, doing a large mount of homework to help them prepare for the university entrance exams. Once they entered university, in my opinion, the students shouldn’t spend all their time studying. They should also take part in some afterschool activities, so they should learn to make plans for their time outside of class between sports and clubs. What’s more, they should spend some time watching TV and chatting with their roommates. These activities are useful in helping them prepare for their future. But what made me most surprised was that many of them did not seem particularly happy about their new freedom, as they have so many choices. They felt that no matter what they were doing, they should be doing something else. That’s why they were not happy. To those students, my advice was, get used to it and learn to make decisions for yourselves.。

Maybe some visitors would be surprised when they first came to India. When they talked to an Indian, he would often shake his head. The visitors might think that the Indian did not like what they said. But in fact, they would be completely wrong.Indians always shake their heads when they talk to others. It does not have the same meaning as our “No”. If someone wants to visit India, he would say he should know this, or it will give him some trouble. One day, a foreign officer went to India on business. He hired a car and an Indian to drive it. When he told his driver to send him to his office, the Indian shook his head at once. The officer said again, and the driver shook his head again. At last the officer got angry.“How dare you refuse my order?” He shouted. “Drive me to my office at once!”The driver answered in quite loud voice, too “Yes, sir!” But to the officer’s surprise, the driver shook his head at the same time. The car started, and the foreign officer was now too surprised to say a word. He thought about it for a while, and he nodded with a smile, “NO means Yes here!”。

Would you like me to help you ?

Do you need to get all these lines filled? I get a new, empty list!3、做完后没有认真检查的习惯,造成了简单的选项也错。

They learn languages, history, geography, physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Others go to school to learn a skill so that they can make a living. School education is very important and useful, yet no one can learn everything from school. A teacher, no matter how much he knows, can’t teach his students everything that they want to know. His job is showing his students how to learn. He teaches them how to read and how to think. Much more is to be learned outside school by the students themselves. Great scientists, such as Newton, Galileo, and Einstein, didn’t get everything from school. But they were all successful, they invented many things, the reason for their success is that they knew how to study. In other words, they knew how to use their brains. They read books that were not taught at school and they worked hard all their lives.。
