Module 6 Festival
Unit 11 I like the Spring Festival best.
(Dialogue)
Objectives:
教学目标: Language knowledge语言知识:
1、V ocabulary词汇:eat mooncakes, watch the moon, eat zongzi, watch the dragon boat races on the river, give old people presents,climb the mountain, Mid-autumn Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Chongyang Festival.
句型:1)What’s your favourite festival? I like... Best. 2)What do people do during …?3)When is Spring Festival?
2、Language skill语言技能:1)能听、说、读新单词
2)能熟读课文对话。
3)能够用英语谈论春节
3、Affect 情感态度:了解中国的节日文化,在实际生活中能够认同传播中国的节日文化
4、Learning Strategies学习策略:2)将语言知识尽可能运用于真实自然的情景当中。

全班学生说出屏幕快速出现的节日活动,并猜出是什么节日。

教授What ’s your favorite festival ?I like...best.用思维导图让学生了解到喜欢节日原因可以从人们喜欢做的事和吃的东西来解释。

同桌运用句型What ’s your favorite festival ? What do you do/eat during the festival?来询问对方喜欢的节日。

创设情景:Ben 作为外国人想了解更多的中国节日文化,所以他想采访大家做个节日的问卷调查。

课后反思:本课时是U11的一部分,主要是以谈论节日为题材,学习节日的相关活动以及句型What ’s your favorite festival ?I like...best.”,由于学生对本单元出现的话题比较感兴趣,所以学生在学习该单元时比较熟悉,在听、说、读方面有了很大的优势。
因此,我在设计这节课时,并没有设计过多的拼读练习,反而把更多的时间放在When is the ...festival? Usually it is in.... What ’s your favorite festival ?I like...best.等句型的操练和运用。
另外,在设计教学过程中我很注重渗透情感教育,这也是本节课中的一个亮点。
近年来外国文化的传播,特别是圣诞节,万圣节的盛行,人们都忽视了中国的传统节日文化。
所以为让学生对于中国节日文化更有认同感,在设计活动时我给学生补充了更多中国 visit the family

节日文化的内容,还有创设了一个外国学生Ben向学生采访了解中国博大精深的节日文化的任务,让学生带着一种肩负传播中国节日文化的使命去完成任务。
该节课不足之处是在于时间的把握上不够充分,因为完成小组任务用时过久,导致匆忙地完成朗读课文环节。
