Lesson 58Depending on the nature of the coal sample involved, the mineral matter present may be derived from a number of different sources. Bulk samples taken from the coal as mined, for example, normally contain mineralogical contaminants due to the presence of intra-seam bands of non-coal material, as well as possibly debris from the adjacent roof and floor strata. However, individually, selected specimens, or plies and seam composites free of these materials, usually contain a distinctive suite of minerals.
QuartzQuartz is common in most coals, but seldom as a major constituent. It often occurs as angular grains in clay-rich bands, suggesting a detrital origin. However, it may also occur as a chemical precipitate possibly originally in the form of chalcedony, infilling cell cavities in the coal macerals or as veins cutting across the coal structure.

ten percent of consumer spending on food goes to farmers, with larger percentages going to advertising, transportation, and intermediate corporations.[2] Wholesale markets for fresh food products have tended to decline in importance in OECD countries as well as in Latin America and some Asian countries as a result of the growth of supermarkets, which procure directly from farmers or through preferred suppliers, rather than going through markets.[3] Computer technology is also a central force, with computer networks and specialized software providing the support infrastructure to allow global movement of the myriad components involved.Text 5 Food SafetyFoodborne microorganismsFoodborne diseaseFoodborne illnessGood hygiene practice (GHP)Good manufacturing practice (GMP)[1] Moreover, the food and agricultural production system suffers from, and at the same time is responsible for, the presence of residues and contaminants (e.g., pesticides and nitrate) in the environment that may interfere with food safety.[2] At the centre lies the provision of safe food defined by afood safety objective (FSO), which is a statement of the frequency or maximum concentration of a microbiological hazard in a food considered acceptable for consumer protection.Text 6 HACCPCorrective actionEnd-productFood and Drug AdministrationNon-compliant productPreventative controlRecallTraceability[1] HACCP is used in the food industry to identify potential food safety hazards, sothat key actions, known as Critical Control Points (CCP’s) can be taken to reduce or eliminate the risk of the hazards being realized.[2] However, some one has been of the opinion that, if the principles were ranked, the hazard analysis principle would be among the most consequential, simply because all hazards must be correctly identified and characterized (reasonably likely to occur or not reasonably likely to occur) or the ensuing plan will be flawed, and some potentially relevant hazard could exist without a preventive control.[3] It can be a maximum and/or minimum value to which a biological, chemical or physical parameter must be controlled at a CCP to prevent, eliminate, or reduce to an acceptable level the occurrence of a food safety hazard.[4] Perhaps part of this lies in the fact that in the evolution of HACCP this principle was the last to be developed and as a consequence it attempts to deal with several problematic issuesthat had become evident.[5] Determining (initial validation) if the plan is scientifically and technically sound, that all hazards have been identified, and that if the HACCP plan is properly implemented these hazards would be effectively controlled.Text 7 Food QualityConsumer-driven Quality ManagementFood qualityFront-line serviceQuality assurance[1] Food quality also deals with product traceability, e.g. of ingredient and packaging suppliers, should a recall of the product be required.[2] These variables, by their nature, control the sensory characteristics of the product, which, in turn, are the most salient and important variables determining both the acceptability and perceived quality of the item to the user.[3] Thus, understanding the relationships between (1) physiochemical characteristics of foodstuffs, (2) the sensory and physiological mechanisms that convert these characteristics into human perceptions of food attributes, and (3) the effects of these perceived attributes on acceptance and/or consumption of the item is critical to an understanding of what constitutes food quality.[4] It integrates organizational and technological aspects of food product quality into one techno-managerial concept and it presents an integrated view of how Quality Management if to be situated in a chain-oriented approach.[5] Without insights from providers and clients, intended improvements may not be meaningful to the staff who mustimplement them and may not attract clients or meet people’s needs.[6] Quality Assurance is a proactive process which attempts to stop error happening in the process allowing it to be “right first time”.Text 8 Modern Management MovementProcess connected parts joined to form a whole in which the coordinated and combined effect of the subsystems creates synergy.[2] The contingency approach as proposed by organizational theorists such as Lawrence and Lorsch and Schein attempted to implement a variety of concepts from other approaches.[3] The appraisal and analysis are done in order to determine what work features, technology, personnel and organizational designs need to be considered as most fittingfor particular circumstances. The second set assumes that there is an appropriate pattern for relationships which exists for all organizations. The third set centers on the best contingency play.[4] Accordingly, the best management practice is one which examines and fits what and how it is to be done, who is to do it, the impact of what is being done for the organization, and the impact of the organization on what is being done.Text 9 Income and W orkPayment in kindPayment in cashFactor incomeTransfer paymentDividendTertiary industryIncomes policyIndexationCommodityPensionAllowanceUnemployment benefitMarket systemPrice of laborPrice of commodityProductive factorFixed bank depositsWage differentialWage driftIncome maintenanceIncome statement[1] 那些具有稀有技能的人在自由市场经济中能挣巨额薪金。

Based on field investigation and existed geological data researching, the paper expatiates on the background of nonmetallic mine’s formation in Chifeng area, analysis the characteristics of nonmetallic mines’distribution, and selective analysis the metallogeny feature of perlite, zeolite, bentonite, pyrophyllite, kaolinite and fluorite deposits. The research shows that the temporal and spatial distribution of perlite-zeolite-bentonite metallogenic series and the pyrophyllite-kaolinite metallogenic series are mainly controlled by NNE regional fault and mesozoic volcanic formation.Furthermore ,the paper expounds the mineralization’s control effect on the deposits’genetic type and syntagmatic relation, the control effect of metallogenic original rocks on deposit characteristics and the influence of metallogenic microenvironment on deposits’transformation. In conclusion, the genetic models of perlite-zeolite-bentonite and pyrophyllite-kaolinite metallogenic series in Chifeng area are established. According to the research of geologic characteristics of fluorite deposit, the tape of fluorite deposit is middle lower temperature hydrothermal filling metasomatism origin in Chifeng area, and the granitoid of stage of yanshan is main ore-host rock. Spatial distribution is mainly controlled by NE-NNE fault, and the compression and scissor fault is in favor of mineralize. The metallogenic epoch of fluorite deposit can be divided into middle lower temperature hydrothermal and supergene, and the former can be further devided into early, middle, later metallogenitic stages. In the vertical profile, from upper to lower mineralization zoning is divided into silicified tectum, quartz vein zone, fluorite vein zone and pinch zone. Finaly, the genetic models of middle lower temperature hydrothermal filling metasomatism type fluorite depositin Chifeng area is established. Finally, the paper discusses the prospecting potential of main nonmetallic mine from the ore-bearing formation point of view.“宁乡式”铁矿是我国重要的沉积铁矿类型Ningxiang type iron deposit is an important kind of iron deposits in China, which is rich in the Hunan-Kiangsi border area. Through conducting the scientific and reasonable minerogenetic prospective prediction, not only realize the sustainable development, but also provide geologic foundation to prospect the mine in the newfields. The research summarize the theory of potential evaluation of mineral resources and developmental situation of method, analyzing adaptability and advancement that forecast mineralization of Ningxiang type iron deposit in the GIS evaluation system.According to analog analyze the conduct of series of mineralization theory, andresearch layer, areal geologic structure, lithofacies palaeo geography and ore-controlling conditions of model deposit, combining analysis interpretation of general message of physical geopraphy, geochemistry and remote sensing aeromagnetic, MRAS terrace of mineral resources comprehensive information evaluation system establish the mineralize model of Ningxiang type iron deposit and model of mathematic prediction. Applying the function of powerful spatial analysis, MRAS conduct feature analysis for the mineralize factors. To summarize the important mineralize factor of Ningxiang type iron deposit that is the layer of Snmining group, containing series of genesis, the limitation platform subfacies in landward, Fe2O3 deposit of river system, the layer of Snmining group in the range from 100m to 200m and surplus gravity that is unusual more than 2m/s2.Adopting the software of GIS evaluation system of mining resource and computer processing of feature analysis, the research area is divided into 52 predicted zones. These predicted zones are segmented into three A predicted zone, seven B predicted zone and eleven C predicted zone. Potential capacity of 334-1 resource predict 5296.3 ten thousand ton, that of 334-2 predict 4670 ten thousand ton and that of 334-3 predict 3082 ten thousand ton. The paper applies analysis method of sedimentary facie, reveals the sedimentary environment characteristics of coal-bearing basin, to explore the victory basin coal-bearing sedimentary environments and coal-accumulating characteristics. Draw the figure of sedimentary section, prepare the figure of ancient environments, analysis the basin evolution and coal-accumulating characteristics.Analysis and research drilling lithologic in the victory basins, alluvial fan depositional systems, fan delta depositional systems, lake sedimentary systems and river depositional systems are very develop in basin. The longitudinal changes of sedimentary system, mainly influence by the same sedimentary fracture and provenance supply. Basin evolution mainly experience: the accumulation phase of alluvial coarse clastic in bottom, the sedimentary stage under the coal-bearing clastic, the sedimentary stage of lacustrine fine elastic, the sedimentary stage on the coal-bearing clastic, the sedimentary stage top clastic. The main coal-forming environment in basin:peat swamp coal-accumulating, shore-lacuatrine coal-accumulating and fan delta coal-accumulating. The cause of the giant thick coal seam in basin belong to peat swamp coal-accumulating.P257 第三、四自然段:The actual location of many outbursts is often related to the presence of particular structures in the coal seam, such as specific fault, folds, joints, cleat orfracture patterns. These structures may represent points where stress concentrations are naturally developed, or where accumulations of gas may build up during the history of coal seam formation. Once such a relation is established, it may be possible to delineate the location of outburst-prone areas in the mine by evaluating and mapping the features concernedRockbursts and gas outbursts are generally preceded by small-scale or microseismic shocks.A network of geophones can be used in the mine to record these shocks, providing much the same type of data as that obtained in crusta] earthquake studies. The location of each individual microseismic event is determined from differences in the arrival time of the signal at the various geophone stations, and maps of the shock centres may be used to delineate potential outburst zones. The rate of shock generation from such a zone tends to change very rapidly in the interval immediately preceding failure, and by plotting the number of bumps recorded from each zone per day, an estimate of the relative stability of different parts of the working area can be made.

If a great failure occurs to you, what is your response? Anyway failure is an inevitable part of our life. Here are some tips for you to treat it in a proper way. After then, you can stand up from where you have fallen down.

Only the flags of Austria, Denmark, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland are older.During the discovery and settlement of what is now the United States, the flags of various European nations were flown over the land, as symbols of possession. Later, the colonial and Revolutionary War periods, flags representing famous persons, places, and events were flown in the American colonies. The first official flag of the United States was created by Congress on June 14, 1777. It consisted of 13 alternate red and white stripes and 13 white stars in the field of blue, representing the 13 colonies that had declared their independence in 1776. Congress adopted a new flag of 15 stars and 15 stripes in 1795, to give representation to the two new states admitted into the Union, Vermont and Kentucky.By 1817, there were 20 states in the Union, and it became apparent that adding on stripe for each new state would destroy the shape of the flag. As a result, congress in 1818 restored the original design of 13 stripes and provided that each state was to be represented by one star. In1912 President William H. Taft made the first official provision for the arrangement of the stars. He ordered that there be six even rows of eight stars each. Previously the arrangement of the stars had been left to the flag-maker’s fancy. The evolution of the Stars and Stripes reflects the growth of the United States. After the admission of Hawaii into the Union in 1959, the flag was officially changed for the 26th time since its creation. There are many government flags flown in the United States in addition to the national flag. Among them are the president’s and vice-president’s flags and those of the federal departments and some federal agencies. Each state in the Union has an official flag. The United States Navy uses special flags for signaling.1. At first, I thought it was possible that I could have left it at home. Then I remembered taking it out to pay for the taxi, so I knew I had it with me just before I walked into the restaurant. I wondered if it was possible that it could have slipped out of my pocket while I was eating dinner. Thinking about that possibility, I turned and walked back to the table where I had been sitting. Unfortunately, there were several people sitting at the table atthe time, so I called a waiter and explained to him that my wallet had fallen out of my pocket while I was sitting at the table a few minutes earlier. I had the waiter go over to the table to see if my wallet was on the floor. While the waiter was looking for it, the manager of the restaurant came up to me and asked me if anything was wrong. I didn’t want to get a lot of people involved in the problem, but I knew I had to get the wallet back. I told the manager what had happened. He had me describe the wallet to him, and then he insisted that I report the missing wallet to the police. I told him that I didn’t particularly want to get the police involved in it; besides, I was in a hurry because I had an appointment with my doctor in just a few minutes. I explained to him that my biggest worry at the moment was how I was going to pay the check. He told me not to worry about that. He had me write down my name and address, and he said he would send me a bill.6. Why was the writer so sure he had brought his money with him? DA. He remembered that he didn’t leave it at home.B. Our world has moved into the information age. In the 21st century information and information science are e ssential for economical and social development of every nation in the world, and they are also an important sym bol used to judge the comprehensive strength and the development levelof science and technology of every nati on. After more than 40years development, now GIS becom-es an absolutly necessary part of information industr y and few other information management systems have the integrative and analytical power of a GIS.
2. At present GIS has attracted more and more attentions from all countries and circles, and is widely used by v arious departments and fields of national economy, such as resources and environment management, ecological environment monitoring, geological prospecting, urban and rural planning and design, survey engineering, etc . Along with the gradually deepening of people’s understanding about spatial information, the popularization of d igital products and the develop ment of computer net work technology, the range and quality of GIS application will be further popularized and broadened.
3. Now qualified GIS specialists and technicians are urgently needed. At the same time it should be pointed out that GIS is not only for the specialists, but for everyone. Whatever your field of interest, it is quite possible that you may encounter and use a GIS in some way in the future. Students from many different disciplines and professions want to learn and use GIS, especially those majoring in surveying and mapping, urban and rural planning , etc .
4. GIS involves not only one but a great many technological revolutions, such as computer science, cartopraphy , global positioning system (GPS) , remote sensing (RS), survey engineering, etc . This book also provides read ers with a carefully chosen distilled version of the theory and content from these relevant disciplines to help the m started. Therefore if you want to go further, you know where are the proper paths forwards.GIS涉及的不仅是一项技术也是众多技术的革命,像电脑科学,制图学,全球定位系统,遥感,工程测量等。
