在英语方面遇到困难的求助信英语作文
在英语方面遇到困难的求助信英语作文全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1Dear Teacher,I need help with English class. It's really hard for me and I'm not doing good. English is my worst subject and I don't understand a lot of the stuff we learn. I try my best but I still make lots of mistakes. In English class, we have to read stories and poems. The readings are often really long with big words I've never seen before. I have to look up so many words in the dictionary just to understand what the story is about. By the time I finally figure out the hard words, I've forgotten what happened at the beginning of the story. It's really frustrating. After we read the stories, we have to answer questions about them. I can never remember all the details to answer the questions right. The questions are hard and use complicated words. Sometimes I don't even understand what the question is asking me. I get confused easily.Writing is also very difficult for me in English class. We have to write essays, stories, poems, and other assignments. I can never think of what to write about. My mind goes blank when I stare at that blank sheet of paper. Even when I do have an idea, I don't know how to put my thoughts into words in a way that makes sense. There are so many grammar rules to remember in English like how to make the verb agree with the subject. I get mixed up on when to use "is" vs "are", "his" vs "her", and all the other pronouns. Run-on sentences are another big problem for me. I tend to write really long sentences that run on forever.Spelling is my biggest weakness. No matter how many times I write down spelling words to study them, I just can't get them to stick in my brain. I misspell even simple words like "friend" or "because". The spelling rules don't make sense to me at all.In class, whenever I raise my hand to ask a question about something I don't understand, the teacher's explanation confuses me even more. The other kids seem to get it, but it just doesn't click for me. I've asked my parents to help me with my English homework, but a lot of it is too advanced for them too since English isn't their first language either.I'm trying so hard in English class, but I'm failing all my tests and assignments. It makes me feel really dumb. All my other grades are good, but English is pulling my overall grade down. I'm scared I might have to repeat the grade because of English. I don't want to be further behind next year. Please help me figure out a way to get better at English. Maybe you could give me some extra tutoring or extra credit assignments to raise my grade. I need a lot of practice. I'm a hard worker and want to improve. I'll do whatever it takes. I don't want to be stuck struggling with English forever.Thank you for your help,[Your name]篇2Dear Teacher,I need your help. English is really, really hard for me. I try my best, but I still don't understand a lot of things. It makes me feel sad and frustrated. In class, when you teach new words, I write them down carefully in my notebook. I practice saying them over and over. But then the next day, I forget what they mean! There are just too many words to remember. My brain gets overloaded.Reading is also super difficult. When I see those black symbols all smushed together on the page, the letters just blur together. I have to sound out every single word, and that takes forever. By the time I get to the end of the sentence, I've forgotten what it was even about! The stories we read in class are confusing and boring.Don't even get me started on writing. Whenever I have to write a story or an essay, my mind goes blank. The ideas won't come, and I don't know what words to use. I stare at the blank page, feeling helpless. Sometimes I'll write a few sentences, but then I get stuck and can't figure out how to continue. My stories never make any sense. You always tell me to read the questions carefully before starting on them. But that's another big problem - I can't understand what the questions are asking! The wording is so complicated with all those big vocabulary words. I read it three times and still have no clue what I'm supposed to do. I just guess randomly and hope I get lucky.English grammar seems impossible to figure out. Why are there so many crazy rules that don't make sense? When to use"a" or "an"? When to say "is" instead of "are"? Singular and plural nouns? It all gets jumbled up in my head. No matter how many times you explain it, I still get it wrong on tests.Speaking English is nerve-wracking too. I know the answer in my head, but when I try to say it out loud, I freeze up. The words get stuck in my mouth, or they come out jumbled and incorrect. Sometimes my classmates laugh at my pronunciation. I want to disappear into the floor! My parents don't speak English very well either, so they can't help me at home. They try their best, but usually just end up confusing me more. And the examples in the textbook don't make any sense to me. Everything about English is a total mystery.I put in all my effort, I really do. But I'm falling farther and farther behind the rest of the class. I'll never learn this crazy language at this rate! I'm starting to feel like a bad student. Maybe I'm just not smart enough for English. Please, can you give me some extra help? I need more explanations, more examples, more practice. I'm a hands-on learner, so maybe you could use visuals, games, and activities to make it easier to understand. I'll do anything - stay after class, come in early, take extra assignments home. I'm desperate to improve. English is just so frustrating and overwhelming for me.I don't want to be the only kid who can't speak, read, and write English. I'm trying my hardest, but I really need you to go slowly and simply so I can finally get it. Please help me learn this baffling language. I'll be forever grateful!Your struggling student,[Your name]篇3Dear Teacher,I really need your help with English. It's just so hard for me and I'm having a lot of trouble. English is my least favorite subject in school and I don't understand why we even have to learn it. My parents say it's important, but I don't get it at all. It makes me feel really dumb.In class, when you're teaching new words and grammar rules, I get lost really fast. You'll be explaining something and then all of a sudden it's like you're speaking a totally different language from the one I know. I'll look around and everyone else seems to understand but my mind just goes blank. I'll raise my hand to aska question to try and get caught up, but then I get embarrassed and put my hand back down. When we have to do worksheets or activities, I stare at them for ages without knowing what to do. I'll copy what the kid next to me is writing just to have something on the paper. And then when you collect them, I get a terrible grade and you write comments saying I need to try harder. But I am trying so hard! It's just really confusing to me.Reading is also really difficult. I hate when we have to go around the room taking turns reading paragraphs out loud. My heart starts pounding because I know my turn is coming up. I'll try to follow along, but then I lose my place and by the time it's my turn, I'm just frantically looking around hoping someone will skip me. And then you call on me and I stumble through, making a ton of mistakes. Everyone laughs and I just want to disappear.Writing is maybe the worst part. When you assign essays or stories, I stare at the blank page for hours. I don't even know how to start. I'll write a sentence and then get stuck and erase it over and over. I can't spell words right and I don't know how to use grammar properly. No matter how hard I try, my writing always gets covered in red ink with corrections.Speaking English is scary too. I know the answer in my head, but then when I go to say it out loud, I get all jumbled up. The words just don't come out right. Sometimes I accidentally mix languages together without meaning to. And then kids make fun of my accent or laugh at me when I make mistakes. It's so embarrassing.I'm trying so hard in English class, but I feel like I'm falling further and further behind everyone else. I'll never be good at it no matter how much I practice and study. I'm thinking of just giving up because it makes me feel terrible about myself. I hate feeling dumb. Please help me, Teacher! I need so much extra help, but I don't know what to do. Can you give me extra lessons or tutoring? Maybe you have some tips or exercises I can try? I'll do anything, I just want to finally understand English and not feel stuck and lost all the time. I'm working as hard as I can, but I really need your help to get better. Thanks for listening.Your student,[Your name]篇4Dear Teacher,My name is Tommy and I am a student in your 5th grade class. I am writing to you because I am having a very hard time with English and I need your help. English is super difficult for me and I feel like I am falling behind the other kids. It makes me sad and frustrated. I really want to get better at it though, because I know English is important. The biggest problem area for me is reading. When I try to read books or passages in class, I get confused easily. There are so many big words that I don't know the meaning of. I have to constantly stop and ask what they mean, which slows me down a lot. By the time I get through a couple paragraphs, I've forgotten what it was even about at the start. The words seem to jumble together in my mind. It's really hard for me to sound out long words too. I just can't break them down into manageable chunks like some of the other kids can.Writing is another big area where I struggle. I have so many good ideas in my head for stories or explanations, but I can never get them down properly on paper. My sentences come out all jumbled and don't make sense. I forget to use capitals, periods, and other punctuation a lot of the time. My spelling is atrocious too - I can never remember how to spell even basic wordscorrectly. Whenever we have writing assignments, I just stare at the blank page feeling completely stuck. It's really discouraging.Listening is difficult for me in English as well. When you are giving instructions or explanations, I have a hard time processing everything you are saying, especially if there are complex words involved. It's like the language just goes in one ear and out the other. By the time I realize I've missed something important,we've already moved on to the next thing. I don't want to constantly be asking you to repeat yourself, as I know that would disrupt the whole class.Speaking out loud is probably the area I struggle with the least, but I still have a lot of trouble with it compared to my classmates. I often mispronounce words, especially words with a lot of consonant blends or weird vowel sounds. When I have to read out loud in class, it's always slow and choppy rather than smooth. And when it's my turn to answer questions or share thoughts, I have a really hard time putting my ideas into words on the spot. My mind just goes completely blank.I feel so embarrassed about all of these English issues. It seems like all the other kids pick it up so much more easily than me. In every other subject like math, science, and social studies, I do pretty well. But English just doesn't click for me at all. I'mconstantly the last one to finish assignments or the only one who doesn't understand something. The other kids sometimes make fun of me or get impatient when I ask for help. I'm scared that if I don't get better at English soon, I'll never be able to go on to middle school and high school successfully. I'm trying so hard, but I feel like I'm not making any progress. Please Ms. Johnson, I need your help. Can you work with me one-on-one more often? Maybe you could tutor me after school sometimes or find me a reading buddy to practice with. I will work as hard as I can, I just need some extra support and guidance in English. I don't want to keep falling farther and farther behind. I want to excel at English just like I do in my other classes. With your help, I know I can get there. Thank you for taking the time to listen to my struggles.Sincerely,Tommy篇5Dear Teacher,I'm having a really hard time with English and I need your help. English is just so confusing and difficult for me. I try mybest, but I keep making mistakes and I don't understand a lot of the rules. It's really frustrating!Let me tell you about the problems I'm having. First of all, spelling is super hard. There are so many weird rules about when to use certain letters and when to double up letters. I can never remember if it's "friend" or "freind" or if it's "stopped" or "stoped." I get letters mixed up all the time. Rhyming words are the worst because they look alike but have different spellings like "wait" and "weight." How am I supposed to know which one to use?Reading is another big problem area for me. I have trouble sounding out longer words with lots of syllables. I get mixed up over which vowel sounds to use - is it a short "a" or a long "a" or something else entirely? And don't even get me started on words with silent letters! Why have those letters at all if you don't say them? It makes no sense to me.Grammar gives me a headache too. Why are there so many crazy rules about where to put apostrophes and how to make words plural? And I can never remember when to use "its" or "it's" or whether I should say "your" or "you're." Subjects and objects get all scrambled in my brain. And why does the verbhave to change in the sentence "She run" versus "She runs?" That's just confusing!Don't even get me started on writing essays and stories. It's really hard for me to organize my thoughts and put them into words in a way that makes sense. I have so many good ideas in my head, but they just come out jumbled on the page. Sometimes I even mix up my tenses without realizing it. And forget about using imagery or writing dialogue properly!I try so hard to learn this stuff but I feel like I'm just not getting it. The other kids make fun of me for my mistakes. I pay attention in class and I do my homework, but English just doesn't click for me like it does for some of my classmates. I'm starting to feel really dumb. Please, can you give me some extra help? Maybe we could go through the rules together again, really slowly, and do lots of practice exercises until they stick in my brain. Or maybe there are some tricks or memory games that could help me learn spelling and grammar better. I'm a visual learner, so maybe you have charts or pictures that could help me understand everything.I just want to get better at English. I know it's an important skill and I'll really need it when I get older. Could you meet with me before or after school sometimes? Or maybe my parentscould pay for a tutor? I'll do anything - I'll practice twice as hard!I just need some extra guidance because regular class time isn't enough for me. Please help me figure this out. I don't want to struggle with English forever. Thanks for your time and understanding. I know you have a whole class to teach, but I could really use some one-on-one attention in this area. Let me know if you have any suggestions for me.Your student,[Your Name]。

英语学习求助信英语作文高中范文
英语学习求助信英语作文高中范文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Dear Teacher,I really need your help with learning English! It's just so hard for me. I try my best, but I still struggle a lot. Everything about English seems confusing and difficult. I know English is super important, but I find myself getting frustrated and wanting to give up sometimes. The first big problem I have is with vocabulary. There are sooooo many words in English that I don't know! Whenever I'm reading something or listening to someone speak English, I come across tons of words that I've never heard before. I have to look them up in the dictionary constantly. And even when I learn new words, I have trouble remembering what they mean later on.Another issue is that English grammar seems really complicated and different from my native language. Things like verb tenses, plurals, subject-verb agreement, prepositions, and articles make my head spin! I mix them up and make mistakes allthe time. Why can't English just have simple, straightforward grammar rules like other languages? Then there's pronunciation. So many English words are pronounced completely differently from how they are spelled! I'll spend forever trying to sound out a new word, only to hear the teacher say it in a totally unexpected way. The sounds in English feel very unnatural for my mouth and tongue. I end up feeling self-conscious and afraid to speak out loud in class.Writing is also super challenging. Forming complete, grammatically correct sentences is hard enough. But then I have to worry about organizing paragraphs, developing ideas thoroughly, using transition words properly, and so on. My writing always ends up sounding choppy and childish compared to native speakers. I can never get my essays to flow smoothly.Don't even get me started on things like phrasal verbs, idioms, slang, regional accents, and cultural references! How is anyone supposed to master all those nuances of English? It truly seems impossible sometimes. I feel like I'm fighting an uphill battle and struggling to keep up with my classmates who grew up speaking English at home.I really admire kids who can effortlessly switch between multiple languages. I wish I could be like them! Instead, Englishremains this big, intimidating obstacle for me. I study hard and practice as much as I can, but I'm not progressing as quickly as I want. At this rate, I worry that I'll never become truly fluent and proficient. Please, please help me, Teacher! I need strategies for overcoming my weaknesses in English. What learning methods, tools, or resources would you recommend? How can I build up my vocabulary and grammar skills? How can I improve my listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities? I'll do whatever it takes to get better at English. I'm determined to work through this.English is just so vital for academic success and future job opportunities. I know I have to conquer this challenge sooner or later. With your guidance and support, I'm hopeful that I can finally start making major strides. Thank you so much for taking the time to assist a struggling student like me. I really appreciate any advice you can offer!Sincerely,[Your Name]篇2Dear Teacher,I really need your help with learning English! It's just so hard for me. All the grammar rules, vocabulary words, and pronunciations are super confusing. I feel like I'm never going to get it. But I know English is an important language to learn. Please help me!You see, my parents only speak our native language at home. We moved to this English-speaking country when I was little, so I've been learning English at school. But it's really different from our language. Like, in English you have to remember if a noun is plural or singular and add an "s" sometimes. And the verb has to match too! Why can't it just stay the same? And don't even get me started on the crazy spelling rules in English. Why does "though" have a "gh" that doesn't make any sound? And words like "colonel" that are totally not spelled how they sound. I memorize how to spell words for my tests, but then I forget them a week later. There are just too many weird exceptions to the rules.Speaking and listening is hard too. Some words sound so similar, like "ship" and "sheep." How am I supposed to know which one people are saying? And there are all these idioms and slang expressions that don't make any sense if you think literally.Like if someone says "hold your horses," does that mean they actually have horses? I get so confused trying to understand everything. In our language, you just say what you mean directly. But in English, you have to learn all these different ways to make requests politely. Like you can't just say "Give me that pencil." You have to say "Could you please pass me that pencil?" It's way too complicated! At home, my parents are always lecturing me: "You need to learn English to get a good job someday. All the best opportunities require strong English skills." I get it, I get it. But English is my worst subject in school. No matter how hard I try, I can't raise my grades.Writing is probably the most difficult part. Organizing paragraphs, using transition words, varying my sentence structure...by the time I revise my essays, they're covered in my teacher's red ink. I'll never master English composition at this rate. I'm starting to think I'll never be fluent. Please, please help me! I want to do well in English, but I'm feeling stuck. Could you give me some extra practice exercises or tutoring? I'll study twice as hard, I promise. Maybe we could meet once a week after school and you could go over conceptsI'm struggling with? Or recommend some books or apps at my level that could make English fun?I'll do anything to improve my English skills. I just need a little extra support and encouragement. With your help, I know I can get over this hurdle. English won't seem so impossible anymore. Please say you'll help me - pretty please with a cherry on top? I'm counting on you!Gratefully yours,[Your struggling student's name]篇3Dear Teacher,I am writing to you because I really need your help with learning English. English is so hard for me and I'm having a lot of trouble in my English class. I try my best, but it just doesn't seem to stick in my brain no matter what I do. I would be so grateful if you could give me some advice! The biggest problem I have is remembering all the vocabulary words. We have to learn like 20 new words every week and I can never keep them all straight. I make flashcards and study them over and over, but then when I have a test, I justgo blank. It's like my mind is a sieve and all the words just leak out before the test! Why is it so hard to make the words stick?Another issue is understanding what people are saying when they talk. In class, you'll be giving instructions or lecturing, and I'll understand maybe half of what you're saying at best. The words all seem to blend together into one big jumbled mess. And don't even get me started on listening exercises from the textbook - I might as well be listening to gibberish! How can I get better at separating the words when people talk? Then there's the whole reading thing. I have such a hard time with that too. When I look at a page covered in English words and sentences, I feel like I'm looking at hieroglyphics or something. I can slowly decode maybe one sentence after staring at it for five minutes, but then I've already forgotten what I just read by the time I get to the next sentence. It's so frustrating! Do you have any tips for becoming a faster, more fluent reader? And writing is a whole other beast that I haven't even tackled yet. Anytime I try to write a paragraph or essay, the words just won't come. My sentences are all awkward and don't make sense. I'm constantly having to stop and look up simple words in the dictionary. By the time I've slaved over writing three lines, I'velost my train of thought completely. How do native English speakers make writing look so effortless?I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm feeling really discouraged and could use some serious help. English is the hardest subject for me by far, no matter how much I study. I spend hours on it every night and yet I'm still struggling to put basic sentences together. I'm worried that I'm never going to get a grasp on this language.Could you please give me some advice or resources that could help make English click for me? I need all the tips and tricks I can get - memorization strategies, listening exercises, reading practices, writing prompts, you name it! I'll do whatever it takes because I really want to improve. I know English will be so important for my future.Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. I appreciate any help or guidance you can offer an English learner in need!Sincerely,[Your Name]篇4Dear Teacher,I am writing to you because I really need help with learning English. It is very hard for me and I don't know what to do. I try my best but it seems like no matter what I do, I just can't get it.First of all, speaking English is super duper difficult. Whenever the teacher asks me a question in English class, my mind goes totally blank. I know the answer in Chinese, but the English words just won't come out of my mouth. It's like there is a block stopping me from speaking. And then I get all nervous and sweaty because everyone is staring at me. By the time I finally say something, it's too late and the teacher has already moved on. I really want to be able to speak up more in class but I'm too scared to try.Reading is also really hard. I look at the words on the page and they just look like a bunch of jumbled letters to me. I can kind of sound them out, but then I have no idea what the words mean when I put them together into sentences. The stories and articles we read in class go completely over my head. I just stare at the pages feeling totally lost and confused. Sometimes I try to use a dictionary to look up every single word, but that takes forever and makes the whole thing even more confusing. Howam I supposed to understand what I'm reading if I don't know what any of the words mean?Writing is definitely the most challenging part for me though. Whenever we have to write an essay or story in English class, I want to cry. My hand gets all sweaty holding the pencil and my mind goes completely blank staring at the blank page. I have no idea how to start or what to write about. Even if I manage to write a few sentences, I'm sure the grammar is all messed up. English grammar is insane with all the different tenses, apostrophes, plurals and pronouns. It seems like no matter what I do, I make mistake after mistake. And don't even get me started on trying to spell words correctly! By the end, my essay looks like it was written by a kindergartner. I get so frustrated that I just want to give up.I have tried lots of different methods to improve my English, but nothing seems to be working. I make flashcards of vocabulary words but then I forget them all in a couple days. I watch movies and listen to music in English but I can't understand 99% of what is being said. I read children's books but I still struggle so much with all the complicated words and idioms. It's just so discouraging because no matter how hard I try, I'm still struggling big time. The worst part is, everyone around me seems to be doing just fine with English except me. My classmates all speak, read and write so naturally like they were born knowing the language. Even the kid who used to eat crayons is somehow better at English than I am! I'm the only one who doesn't understand what's going on. It's really embarrassing and it makes me feel so stupid. I want to give up but I know English is a crucial skill I need to master. Please, can you give me some advice on how I can improve my English skills? I will try anything at this point - extra homework, private tutoring, language learning apps, you name it!I am determined to work as hard as I possibly can. I just need some guidance on effective methods that can help me finally make progress. English is so important but it has been an impossible mountain for me to climb so far. With your help, I'm hopeful that I can overcome my struggles and gain confidence in my English abilities.Thank you so much for taking the time to read my letter. I look forward to hearing any tips or suggestions you may have. I really appreciate your help!Sincerely,[Your struggling student's name]篇5Dear Teacher,I need your help with learning English! It's so hard for me and I get really frustrated sometimes. English is my least favorite subject in school. I just don't understand why we have to learn it.I was born here and everyone around me speaks Chinese. When will I ever need to use English? My parents keep telling me how important it is to learn English well. They say it will help me get into a good university and get a good job later on. But I'm only in 5th grade! I don't even know what I want to be when I grow up yet. Learning English just feels like a waste of time for me right now.The writing is the hardest part. I can never remember how to spell words properly in English. The rules make no sense to me. Like why is "night" spelled with a "gh" instead of just an "f" sound? And why are there so many ways to spell the same sound like the long "a" sound can be spelled as "a", "ay", "ai", and more? Chinese is so much more logical.Speaking is also really difficult. I get so tongue-tied and flustered whenever I have to speak English in class. My face gets hot and I start sweating. I can never get the weird sounds andrhythm of English right. My English just ends up sounding broken and incorrect compared to my classmates who have had more practice or exposure to English.Listening is a struggle as well. People speak way too fast in English! All the words get bunched together and it's hard to distinguish where one word stops and the next begins. I have to strain so hard to comprehend anything that is being said. My brain can't process it quickly enough before new English words are being spoken.Reading is probably the "easiest" skill for me, but I still face issues. I have a really hard time making out words with a lot of consonants clustered together. My eyes just glaze over them. And don't get me started on words with silent letters - those are the worst! It's so confusing.I'm trying my best in English class, but I feel like I'm falling farther and farther behind. My grades are terrible and I'm getting discouraged. Some of my classmates seem to pick it up so naturally and efffortlessly. It's just not clicking for me at all. I have a hard time paying attention during our English lessons and my mind wanders. Please help me, teacher! I need some advice and tips to improve my English abilities. What should I be doing differently? How can I make English easier and more interesting to learn? I'm feeling stuck and I'm scared I might not pass English this year. I really want to get better so my parents will stop nagging me. English is just too complicated!Thank you so much for taking the time to read this long letter. I look forward to any suggestions or guidance you can provide. I appreciate you always being so patient and encouraging me, even when I'm struggling. Your support means a lot!Sincerely,Your English Student篇6Dear Teacher,My name is Tommy and I am a student in 5th grade. I really need your help because I am struggling with learning English. It is my second language and I find it very difficult. I will try my best to explain my problems in English.First of all, I have a hard time understanding when people speak English to me. The words seem to blend together and I can't separate them. For example, when my teacher says "Whatdid you have for breakfast this morning?" I hear "Whaddyouavfubreckmohnin?" and I get confused. I know I need to practice listening more, but I'm not sure the best way to do that.Another big problem I have is remembering new vocabulary words. We learn lots of new words in class every week, but I quickly forget most of them. My teacher tells me to make flashcards, but I find that really boring. I prefer to play games and do more fun activities to learn the words. Could you suggest any games that would help me remember the new words better?Grammar is also very challenging for me. I can never remember when to use "a" or "an" in front of words. And don't even get me started on verb tenses! I can never figure out if I should say "I go" or "I went" or "I will go." Why are there so many different versions of each verb? It's all very confusing. I need some tricks to help me learn the grammar rules. As for reading, I have a hard time with that too. I can read simple books okay, but anything above a second grade level is too hard. I get stuck on big words I don't know and then I lose understanding of what the whole story is about. Do you have any recommendations for fun, easy reading materials I could practice with?Writing is probably my biggest weakness. Whenever I try to write a story or paragraph, I make so many silly mistakes with capitals, periods, spelling, etc. I can never remember all the rules. And coming up with ideas for what to write about is hard too. I just stare at a blank page feeling stuck. I need step-by-step help for the whole writing process, from brainstorming to editing.Overall, I feel very frustrated and discouraged about learning English. I study hard and practice as much as I can, but I still struggle so much. I'm afraid I'm never going to be fluent. Could you please give me advice and tips to make English easier? I really want to improve, but I need your guidance. Thank you for your time and help!Sincerely,Tommy。

七年级下册四单元英语作文写一封求助信
七年级下册四单元英语作文写一封求助信全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1Dear Mrs. Johnson,I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Tommy and I'ma student in your 7th grade English class. I'm writing to you because I'm really struggling with the material we're covering in Unit 4 and I need your help.To be totally honest, I just feel super confused by all the new grammar rules and vocabulary we're learning. The present perfect tense is giving me a really hard time. I can never seem to remember when to use "have" or "has" with the past participle. And don't even get me started on present perfect continuous! My brain gets all twisted up trying to figure out if I should say "I have been studying" or "I had been studying." It's like a impossible puzzle. Then there are all the new vocab words about natural disasters, like "earthquake," "tornado," "hurricane" and "wildfire."I can never keep them straight in my head. They all seem to blend together into one big natural catastrophe! I've triedmaking flashcards and everything, but I just can't seem to get them to stick. The readings and listening exercises aren't helping much either. That passage we had to read about the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami was super dense and difficult. I zoned out after the first paragraph because I didn't understand half the words. And you know how easily I get distracted listening to things! My mind just started wandering as soon as the audio clip about Hurricane Katrina started playing.I really want to understand this unit because learning about crazy natural events is actually interesting to me. But I'm feeling really discouraged and starting to fall behind. I'm afraid if I don't get some extra help soon, I'm going to completely bomb the unit test. And you know my parents will kill me if I fail another test this semester! So I'm wondering if there's any way you could meet with me one-on-one sometime this week during lunch or after school? Maybe you could reteach me some of the grammar points and go over practice exercises with me. Having you explain things in a small group setting could really make a huge difference. I'm also wondering if you could recommend any good websites or apps for building my disaster vocabulary?I promise I'm trying my best in class and doing all the homework. I just seem to be hitting a brick wall with some of these concepts. Any extra support you can give would be massively appreciated. Please let me know if you're available for some extra tutoring. I really need to get my act together before the Unit 4 exam or I'm going to be in huge trouble! Thanks so much for your help, Mrs. Johnson. You're the best English teacher ever and I'm so grateful to have you.Sincerely,Tommy篇2Dear Friend,I need your help real bad! You see, something super crazy happened at school today and I'm not sure what to do. It all started during recess when me and my buddies Johnny, Mark and Timmy were playing kickball out on the field. We're the kickball champs of the 7th grade, no one can beat us!Anyway, we were in the middle of an intense game when all of a sudden, the kickball went flying over the fence into the woods behind the school. Uh oh! We've been warned by ourteacher Mr. Jenkins not to ever go into those woods because they're full of critters and stuff. But we couldn't just leave our kickball in there, that's our favorite one that we've had since 3rd grade! It's got our signatures written all over it with permanent marker. So we did what any brave 7th grade guys would do - we hopped that fence and went on an adventure into the spooky woods to find our ball.It started out okay at first. The woods were kind of creepy with all the twisted trees and branches everywhere, but we stuck together and made cool walkie-talkie sounds to try to locate the kickball. After about 20 minutes of searching though, we realized we were totally lost! None of us had a clue which way was back towards the school. We couldn't even hear any sounds from the kickball field anymore. That's when things got really scary. Up ahead, we thought we saw a shadowy figure moving through the trees. We froze in our tracks and my heart felt like it was going to beat right out of my chest. The shadowy thing started coming towards us, getting bigger and bigger. We couldn't tell what it was, but it seemed humongous! Just as we were about to make a run for it, the creature stepped out from the trees and you'll never believewhat it was...a gigantic BEAR! Like, one of the biggest bears I've ever seen, probably 8 feet tall!We just stood there, paralyzed with fear, waiting for the bear to suddenly attack us and gobble us up. But get this - the bear didn't even seem to notice us at all. It just kind of looked around, sniffed the air, and then lumbered away deeper into the woods. We were so relieved, but also pretty shaken up.That's when I realized - oh no, we had no idea where the bear went, and we were stuck out here in its territory in the middle of the woods! What if it came back, or what if there were more bears?? We had to get out of here fast before something bad happened. We started wandering again, trying to re-trace our steps and find our way back, but it was no use. Everything looked the same. Twisted trees, dirt paths, rocks, bushes, everything! We were hopelessly lost in the bear woods. That's when Johnny started freaking out, saying we'd never get out and we were all going to be bear food. I had to slap some sense into him to shut him up before he scared us all even more.Just when I thought all hope was lost, we turned a corner and saw some light through the trees. A clearing! We ran towards it as fast as we could, and that's when I recognized wehad somehow circled all the way around and ended up back at the school's softball field. We were saved! When the softball team girls saw us, they started cracking up laughing at us. Apparently while we were having a near-death experience, they just thought we ditched recess to goof off in the woods. Little did they know the crazy bear encounter we just had!So that's my story. I haven't told anyone about the bear yet, because I don't want to get laughed at even more. But I also don't want to risk going into those woods again, EVER. I might have nightmares about bears for weeks! My friends and I need to get our kickball back somehow though. I was hoping you could help us come up with a plan to retrieve it safely? Like, maybe you could get your dad who's a firefighter or police officer or something to go back in the woods and look for it? Or maybe we could report a篇3Dear Teacher,I'm writing this letter because I really need your help with the essay for Unit 4 in our English textbook. We have to write a letter asking for help, and I'm totally stuck! I don't even know where to start.See, the instructions say we have to pretend we are a kid who lost their pet and we need to write a letter to the local animal shelter asking if they have seen our missing pet or if they can help us find it. I've never had a pet before, so I don't really know what it feels like to lose one.My best friend Timmy has a dog named Rufus though. Rufus is this huge, hairy, golden retriever who is always super excited and jumps up on you to give you slobbery kisses. I really like Rufus, even though he sheds like crazy and gets fur all over my clothes whenever I pet him. I can't imagine how sad Timmy would be if Rufus ever went missing!I decided to write my letter pretending that Rufus is the missing pet. I'm going to say that he got out of Timmy's backyard one day and we can't find him anywhere. I'll ask the animal shelter people to please look out for him and let us know if anyone brings in a big golden dog.I'll describe what Rufus looks like too, so they know it's him if they see him. He's got long, golden fur that gets lots of knots and tangles in it if Timmy's mom doesn't brush him regular. He's got a black nose and these big brown eyes that look so sad when you try to take his favorite squeaky toy away. Oh and he's gotthese huge paws with these crazy long nails that click-clack on the kitchen floor whenever he walks around.I'm going to say that Rufus doesn't have any tags on his collar since Timmy lost them ages ago, but I'll give the shelter his name and stuff so maybe they can find his owners that way if someone brings him in. I'll tell them that Rufus is a very friendly dog who loves everyone, but he won't let strangers grab his collar since Timmy's dad taught him not to.I'll say please please keep an eye out for Rufus and give us a call right away if you find him, because we are all so worried about him and miss him like crazy. We've looked everywhere - at the park, in the woods behind our houses, all through the neighborhood - but there's no sign of him anywhere. It's like he just disappeared into thin air!I'll put mine and Timmy's phone numbers and our addresses on the letter too, so the shelter can contact us right away if they get any news about Rufus. I really hope somebody finds him soon, before anything bad happens to him out there. It's getting cold at night and I don't want Rufus to freeze or get hurt or anything. It makes me want to cry just thinking about it!I think that's a pretty good start for my missing pet letter. I'll keep writing more details about Rufus and why we want himback so bad. The hard part is going to be not using contractions like "can't" and "won't" since we're supposed to write this letter formally. I always mess those up! But I'll do my best.I'll rough draft the whole thing first and then have my mom proofread it before I write the final copy. Even if Rufus isn't really missing, at least I'm practicing how to write this type of letter in English class, which is good practice I guess. It's just a really sad topic to write about, missing your beloved pet like that.Well thanks for letting me share my ideas, Teacher! I'm feeling a bit better about how to get started on this assignment now. If you have any other tips for me, I'm all ears. Writing formal letters is hard!Your student,[Your name]篇4Dear Teacher,I'm having a hard time with the writing assignment for Unit 4 where we have to write a letter asking for help. I'm not sure I fully understand what we're supposed to do, so I was hoping you could explain it to me again. The instructions say we need to write a letter to someone asking them for assistance with something. It could be asking a relative for advice, asking an organization for information, or asking an expert for their expertise on a topic we're interested in. The letter is supposed to clearly explain what we need help with and why we are reaching out to that particular person or group for assistance.I've tried starting the letter a few times, but I keep getting stuck. I'm having trouble picking who to write the letter to and what kind of help to ask for. There are so many possibilities that I can't decide! Part of me wants to write to my uncle asking for advice about which high school to try to get into since he's a teacher and knows a lot about schools in our area. But another part of me thinks it might be more interesting to write to an author whose books I really enjoy and ask for writing advice. What do you think, Teacher? Should I go with the more practical option of asking about high schools or should I have more fun with it and write to an author? I'm really stuck on making this decision. I feel like if I can just decide who to write to, then actually writing the letter itself will be easy. But I can't seem to make up my mind!Another thing I'm struggling with is how formal or casual to make the letter. The instructions say these types of letters can range from formal and professional to informal and conversational depending on who we write to. An letter to an expert asking for advice would probably need to be more formal. But a letter to a family member could be more casual. I'm just not sure what level of formality to use.I'm also having a hard time figuring out how to properly structure and organize the letter. I know it needs to have an introduction explaining who I am and what I'm asking for help with. And a conclusion thanking the person for their time. But what all should I include in the body paragraphs? How much detail and explanation do I need to give about the issue I need help with? I don't want to ramble on and on, but I also want to make sure I give enough context for them to understand my situation. This assignment seems decepively difficult! I feel like writing a letter asking for help should be pretty straightforward, but I'm really struggling with all the little decisions about who, what, and how formal. I could really use your guidance to point me in the right direction.Should I write a more formal letter to an expert or organzation? Or a casual one to a relative? What are some good topics to ask for help or advice about at my age? How much detail should I include explaining the situation? I'd appreciate any advice you can give me to get this letter started!Thank you so much for taking the time to help me with this assignment. I want to make sure I do a good job since letters like this are an important real-world writing skill. I'll do my best to follow your suggestions. Let me know if you need any other information from me!Sincerely,[Your Student's Name]篇5Dear Teacher,I am writing to you to ask for help with the assignment to write a letter for the 4th unit of our English class. I have been struggling with how to structure the letter and what kind of language to use. I could really use your guidance! For the opening of the letter, I was thinking of starting with: "Dear Sir/Madam," since I don't know the name of the person I'llbe writing to. Is that the best way to begin? Some kids in my class said you can also use "To whom it may concern," but I'm not sure which is better. Please let me know what you recommend. The first paragraph is supposed to explain the reason for writing the letter. I was planning to say something like: "I am a 7th grade student at Oak Middle School. I am writing to request your assistance with a problem I have been having." Does that sound okay? Should I give more details about the problem right away or wait until later paragraphs? For the next few paragraphs, I need to describe the problem and situation in more detail. This is where I'm really stuck. The assignment says the letter should be asking for help related to an issue in our community, but I can't decide what problem to focus on. Some ideas I had were writing about:Bullying issues at our school and asking for programs to prevent itVandalism and litter problems in our neighborhood park and asking for more clean-upsStray animals on the streets and asking for a new animal shelterNot enough activites for kids after school and asking for a community centerWhich one of those do you think would be the best topic? Or maybe you have another idea for a community issue I could write about? I'm really unsure which direction to go.Once I figure out the main problem, then I need to give a lot of details and examples to describe why it is an issue and needs to be addressed. I was planning to use some of these techniques:Provide some statistics or facts about the problemDescribe a personal experience or observation related to the issueExplain how the problem negatively impacts people in tangible waysMaybe get quotes from other people about the problemDoes that sound like a good approach for those middle paragraphs? I'll do my best to give a really full and clear explanation of the situation.Towards the end, I need to directly ask for what kind of assistance or action I want to be taken. I'm thinking I could write something like:"Therefore, I am respectfully requesting that you take steps to [summary of what is requested]. Specifically, I would propose ideas such as [1-2 concrete suggestions]."Do you have any advice for exactly what to ask for or suggest? I want to make sure my requests are reasonable and appropriate. Finally, I will wrap up the letter with a concluding paragraph giving thanks and stating why I hope the requested actions will be taken to improve things. Something like:"By taking measures to resolve this problem, it will greatly benefit the community in [x,y,z ways]. Thank you for your time and consideration of this important matter."Does that seem like a good way to end the letter? I want to leave a strong, positive impression while also showing my appreciation.I know this is a long email, but I really want to make sure I doa good job on this assignment since writing formal letters is an important skill. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and provide me with your feedback! I appreciate any guidance you can give on improving my letter-writing abilities.Sincerely,[Your student's name]。

Task 3下面是一位同学的习作,根据所学内容,找出文章中4个需要改进的句子:
假如你叫李华,在光明中学读书,在高中学习英语的过程中遇到一些问题,想得到老师的帮助,并想给班级的英语老师提一些建议,以帮助自己学好英语。
下面表格中只给了简单的提示,请你结合自己的实际情况给英语老师写一封求助信,内容如下:
Dear teacher,
My name is Li Hua. I wanna you to help me. I have met many difficulties in learning English. First, I find our texts full of new words that are very difficult for me to remember. Besides, the texts are too long for me to recite. What’s more, grammar is also very difficult to learn.
Faced with so many difficulties, I have to ask you for some help. You should introduce us some good ways to learn new words so that we can remember them more easily. In the meanwhile, I beg you to teach the text more slowly so that the average students like me can easily follow you. Also, I would like you to introduce some rules and good ways of learning grammar. I’m sure that I can make great progress in my English study if you can answer my question and follow my advice.
Yours,
LiHua。
