或者是把英语单词写在小本子上，上下学时可以边走边看。
在记忆的时候，要努力激励自己一定可以背下来，并且规定好多长时间复习一次，在背词汇表的时候，对于已掌握的，可以掠过去不看；对于那些生词，可以采取以下策略。
以四个为一组，对于连续的四个生词反复多次进行记忆，直到你在遮住右半边只看英文的情况下能够立即说出其对应的中文含义。
然后再背下面四个生词。
当背了5组(20个词)后，再从头把这20个词检查一遍，对于那些记不住的词，再在纸上抄几遍，以加强记忆。
这样才不会让自己的词汇量有所短缺。
如果你想补充一下你的课外词汇量，就可以在做阅读题的时候，遇到不认识的单词先做记号，并猜测他们的意思，等到把全文看完后再从字典上把他们的意思找出来，具体的做法是找一本笔记本，把他的一页从中间对折，然后从字典上把英汉意思抄上去，英语单词或词组抄在左边，汉语意思抄在右边，然后对所有的词汇背三遍，先汉英对照背一边，然后分别只看英文或汉语解释背一遍。
这种方法记忆的量大而且比较牢靠。
还有一些同学是在英语听力和口语这方面比较弱，我个人认为，语音是一门语言的基础，只有学好发音，正确的读出来，才会听得懂对方在说什么。

我记得我上英语课的时候，每一次老师教我们单词，我总会认认真真的看着老师的嘴巴，看她如何发音，可好奇了，有的时候并不会，就在课本上注释，有谁也这样干?嘿嘿，现在我给大家一个建议把音标学会，自己就会发音了。
说完了听的方面，再来谈谈说的方面。
依然记得第一次见外教，看着别人与外教交流，可羡慕了，自己什么都不会。

提到这儿，我不得不再提一下我初中的时候，那时候有早自习，每天早上我都会和同学一起把课本上的对话反复交换角色来朗读，这也是说的一方面。
后来只要是课本上的东西我都很能清晰地记住在脑海中。
又一次老师讲到了一句话，问大家在哪儿见过这句话，我就给说出在哪一个单元，那一课，呵呵，当时大家可惊奇了。
现在来谈谈读的方面，一提起读，我要问大家一个问题，大家多长时间阅读一篇文章?阅读呢，这是一个长期的过程，大家知道，罗马不是一天建成的，北京不是两个月建成。
刚才同学说自己没有阅读，那么同学们，从今天起，你要记住要大量阅读。

那么，如果你只要求你自己做最基本的事情那英语肯定不会好到哪里去，因为被单词和背课文只是一种酝酿，学英语要做的事情远远超过这些，例如，需要在交际中、在写作中、在阅读中练习运用语言，脱离这些就好比我们盖房子需要石头一样，我们永远都是在捡石头，捡得再多不拿去盖楼，永远见不到成果，自然也就没有成就感。
