Teaching process:
Step One Lead-in
The teacher greets each student:
Good morning. Nice to see you again. Welcome back to school.
What did you do during your summer vacation?
Step Two Presentation
1. Activity 1: look and match.
After students have finished it, ask some individuals to tell what you would do in these festivals.
2. Activity 2: read and decide.
Get the Ss to discuss these festivals by themselves. Then get them to listen and repeat.
Step Three Listening
1. . Activity 3. Listen and tick. Then discuss the answers with them.
2. Activity 4. Listen again and answer the question about the festival and Lynn’s opinion.
3. Activity 5. Listen again and answer the questions. Check the answers with them.
Step Four Speaking
1. Activity 6. Listen and underline. Practice the dialogue with your partner and underline the vacation activities.
2. Activity 7. Look at the pictures and talk in pairs.
3. Ask some pairs to act out their dialogues. If some Ss have difficulties, the teacher can give them some hints.
4. Activity 8: Ask some student to act some dialogues using following Chinese traditional festivals.
Step Five Summary and Homework
1.Make a short summary of what we’ve learned today.
2.Practice the dialogue with your classmate after class.
Unit 2 How to open a savings account?
Teaching aims:to learn the dialogue and some new words: account branch balance fingertip deposit check draw insert

Teaching process:
Step One Lead-in
1.Greeting as usual.
2.T will show some PPTs and ask some questions for lead-in.
(1)How many banks do you know? (ask some ss, then show some pics
about banks in China. )
(2)If you want to open a savings accont? Please you can imagine that
how many steps to open a savings account.
(3)Words and Expressions:(Reading the new words and expressions all
together.)
Step Two Presentation
1.Activity 1 look and match (T will give 3mins ss to match the sentences and pics. )
After students have finished it, ask some individuals to tell the other bank serves.
2.Activity 2 listen and match (T will play the audio of this part and ask ss to match sentences after listening.)
e.g. How to open a savings account? You need/should to deposit at least
10 yuan.
3.Activity 3 act and practice (T will give a sample with a student, after that, T will give 3 mins ss to prepare a dialogue with sentences in activity 3. )
