作动词时：transport sth./sb. from ···to ···把某物或某人从某地运到某地eg. They transported the wheat from the farm to a mill.

做名词时：运送；运输；交通工具

eg. My friend is using my car, so I have no transport.

prefer: vt. 更喜欢；选择某事物（而不选择其他事物）(preferred/preferring)

determine: vt. 决定；确定；下定决心

determine to do sth. 决定做某事

determine sb. to do sth. 使某人下定决心做某事

determined：adj. 坚定地；有决心的

eg. Maybe you’ll change your mind after thinking it over.
