We saw all sorts of wildlife, from squirrels scampering up trees to deer grazing in the meadows. At one point, we even spotted a family of raccoons rummaging through a trash can. I slept in until noon most days and stayed up all night playing my new video game. I beat the entire game in four days! She can be such a nag sometimes.After I finished my game though, I started to get kinda bored just sitting around the house all day. That's when my friend Jake called and invited me over to his place. Jake's mom had set up a huge slip 'n slide in their backyard! We spent all day slipping and sliding, crashing into each other, and having the biggest water fight ever. It was an absolute blast! By the end of the day we were both completely soaked and exhausted. Jake's mom made us popsicles and we just laid out on the grass letting the sun dry us off. That night I slept like a rock.The next week my parents said we were going camping up in the mountains. At first I wasn't too excited since it meant no video games or TV, but it turned out to be really fun!
