英语作文校园十大歌手比赛观点和建议全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1The Top 10 Campus Singers CompetitionWow, did you guys watch the Top 10 Campus Singers Competition last week? It was so awesome! My big sister Jenny was one of the contestants and she made it all the way to the finals. I'm going to tell you all about it.First of all, the competition was held in our school auditorium and it was absolutely packed. There must have been like a bazillion people there! Okay, maybe not quite that many but there were definitely a lot of students, parents, teachers and even the principal Mrs. Henderson was there. The stage was all decked out with fancy lights and a massive screen behind it. It looked just like those singing shows you see on TV!There were ten contestants who made it to the finals after auditions earlier in the week. They had to sing one song acapella style, which means without any music or instruments in the background. Just their amazing voices! Can you imagine hownerve-wracking that must have been? Singing in front of the whole school with no music? I would have been terrified! My big sis Jenny was the third contestant to go on stage. She walked up there looking so confident in her sparkly blue dress. I could tell she was a little nervous too though because her hands were shaking just a tiny bit. But as soon as she opened her mouth and started singing "Wildest Dreams" by Taylor Swift, it was like she became a whole different person! Her voice was so powerful and beautiful. I had goosebumps! After each performer, the judges would give their comments and scores out of 10. The judges were really tough though. Even if someone did an amazing job, they would always find something to nitpick. Like they told Jenny her breathing technique needed a bit of work or she didn't quite nail one of the high notes. But overall they said really nice things about her vocals. There were a few contestants that didn't do so well in my opinion. Michael Sanders for example, totally forgot the words to his song halfway through! It was painful to watch. The judges didn't hold back on that one either. Ouch! Then there was Kayla Brooks who I thought was the best singer of the whole night. Her rendition of "All of Me" by JohnLegend gave me chills. The judges seemed to agree because they gave her the highest scores. Though one judge did say she need to work on her stage presence a bit more. Whatevs, I thought she was perfect! It was so tough watching and waiting through all the performances to see who would make it to the Top 3. When they finally announced the winners, I just about jumped out of my seat cheering for my sister! She made it to the final three along with Kayla and this other guy named Ryan. For the finals, they had to perform a second song. This time Jenny sang "Love Story" by Taylor Swift and let me tell you, she CRUSHED it! I've never heard her sound so good. Kayla was incredible again too on "Grenade" by Bruno Mars. But Ryan sadly didn't quite live up to the first round and seemed a bit pitchy to me.Finally, after what felt like forever, they announced the top two winners... Kayla Brooks in first place and my amazing big sis Jenny in second! I was honestly a little sad Jenny didn't get first, but she seemed really happy with second place. Kayla obviously deserved to win though, no doubt about it.At the end, the principal Mrs. Henderson came up and gave both of them estos big trophies and cash prizes. How cool is that?Getting paid to sing! Maybe I'll enter the competition next year too. A girl can dream, right?Okay, let me give you my thoughts and suggestions for next year's competition:First of all, I think they need to have the auditions waaay earlier and let more people make it to the finals. 10 contestants just doesn't feel like enough when there is so much talent at this school. Having more finalists would make it even more exciting and give more students a chance to showcase their skills.Secondly, and this is just my opinion, but the judges were waaay too harsh! Critiquing things like breathing technique and tiny missed notes is just being way too picky if you ask me. As long as someone can sing well overall, that's what should matter most. Cutting people down over little things can't feel very good. The judges need to be more positive and encouraging! Finally, my biggest suggestion would be to let contestants sing with pre-recorded music tracks or even a live band instead of just acapella. Don't get me wrong, singing without any music is super impressive. But it's also boring after a while when every performance is the same. Having instruments and tracks would let people's performances be more dynamic and fun. We could actually get a real feel for what kind of artists they have thepotential to be, not just how well they can sing acapella. Just a thought! But what did you guys think of the competition? Who was your favorite performer? I'd love to hear if you agree or disagree with any of my suggestions too. We should definitely have more events like this at school because it's so fun and lets students express their artistic sides. I think it really brings the whole school community together in a special way.Alright I've rambled on enough about this for now. Thanks for reading my thoughts! I just get so excited talking about singing competitions. Maybe you'll see me up on that stage next year? A girl can hope! Let me know your own opinions in the comments below.篇2The Top 10 School Singers Competition: Views and SuggestionsWow, the Top 10 School Singers was so amazing this year! I loved watching all my friends get up on the big stage and sing their hearts out. Some were super good and others were a little off-key, but everyone tried their best which is what matters most.My best friend Samantha made it into the Top 10 and I was screaming for her the whole time when she sang "A Million Dreams" from The Greatest Showman. Samantha has been taking voice lessons since we were in 1st grade, so she's gotten really good over the years. Her voice teacher Miss Karen even came to watch her perform! I could see Miss Karen clapping and singing along proudly.I felt a little bad for Tommy though. He messed up the words to "Old Town Road" right in the middle and you could tell he was nervously sweating up there. Poor Tommy practiced that song so many times leading up to the competition too. But he's a tough kid and was smiling again once he left the stage. His parents gave him a big hug after which was really nice to see.Seeing Aisha perform her song from Mulan was one of the highlights for me. She wore an amazing traditional Chinese dress that looked perfect for her Disney song. Aisha even did some ribbon dancing during the Performance which was beautiful! No one else added any dancing to their singing so it made Aisha stand out. I heard her family is from China too which makes it extra special that she celebrated her culture like that. The best part though was when Kyle got up to sing his original song he wrote himself called "My Crunchy Taco Dream."It was basically Kyle just making up funny lyrics about his obsession with Taco Bell while playing his guitar. The whole audience was laughing so hard! Kyle's such a silly guy and definitely knows how to entertain a crowd. You could tell all the teachers thought it was absolutely hilarious too.Of course, there were some incredible singers as well that showed off their amazing vocal talents. Gabby, who ended up winning 1st place, basically sounded like a teenage Ariana Grande up there. Her sky-high whistle notes gave me goosebumps! Carter also blew us away with his version of "When I Was Your Man" by Bruno Mars. No one even realized Carter could sing like that since he's usually just quiet and keeps to himself. I guess the kid's got a hidden talent! In the end, it was so cool getting to see both my silly and serious friends giving it their all out on that stage. Being exposed to live music performances like that could really inspire some of the kids to pursue singing, songwriting or music in the future. The teachers did such a nice job organizing the whole event too. With that said, I did have some suggestions that could make next year's competition even better:The microphones weren't working perfectly and kept cutting out at times. Having reliable mics is pretty important so thesingers' voices can be heard clearly. Maybe the school could rent out some higher-quality mic equipment next time around. It also would've been fun if some teachers, principals or other fun guests did a group performance together! Thatcould've gotten the audience more pumped up early on. Having a little skit or dance routine to open the show could be entertaining too before the actual singing performances began.Although it went smoothly overall, the judging process could've been improved. The judges would speak some inaudible comments to each other between acts that left the audience confused on what was happening. More transparency like projecting their scores on a screen could allow the audience to follow along easier. Finally, poor Sarah who was supposed to perform got food poisoning and had to back out at the last minute. It would've been better if the competition had a rule where performers could sing on a rain date or something if they had to miss it for an emergency. No one should be disqualified completely just for getting sick!Other than those minor points though, I loved every second of experiencing the Top 10 School Singers this year! Can't wait to watch again next year or maybe even audition myself. If anything, this competition got me way more interested in music and the performing arts. Who knew we had so many talented singers just in our little school? Thanks to all the teachers who put in so much hard work to give us such an entertaining night. I'll never forget watching friends like Samantha, Tommy, Aisha, Kyle, Gabby and Carter give it their all up on that big stage!篇3School's Singing Showdown: The Best and SilliestWow, you guys! Our school just had the biggest singing competition ever and it was so much fun. We called it the "Singing Showdown" and every class from 3rd to 6th grade got to pick two students to represent them. It was like the real "American Idol" but just at our school! It all started a few weeks ago when Ms. Jackson, our super nice music teacher, announced the competition during our weekly music class. She said it would be a chance for the best singers to show off their talents. Well, as soon as she said that, everyone started whispering and looking around at each other like "Oh it's definitely going to be me!"In my class, we had to do a little sing-off to pick our two representatives. Sandra and Michael ended up getting picked because they have been taking voice lessons for years and can really belt it out. I'm not going to lie, I was a little sad I didn't get picked since singing is my biggest dream. But Ms. Jackson said we could all be backstage helpers, so that was cool. The big night finally came last Friday. The whole school gathered in the auditorium, which was decked out with sparkly curtains and scoring tables just like a real talent show. Ms. Jackson was the host and she looked gorgeous in her fancy dress. She did a great job keeping everything running smoothly. The performances kicked off with the 3rd graders and let me just say...yikes! It was really adorable that they tried their best, but pretty much everyone was super off-key and forgetting words left and right. A few kids even had tears streaming down their faces from stage fright. My heart went out to them!Things started looking up with the 4th and 5th grade acts. You could tell they had put in a ton of practice. My favorite was Jasmine who played her guitar and sang a Taylor Swift song. Her voice was beautiful and confident. I definitely voted for her!But then the 6th graders just blew everyone away. You could feel the electricity in the auditorium when they came out.Michael from my class did an incredible job on his solo of "Defying Gravity" from Wicked. His high notes gave me full body chills! And the girl group that performed "Single Ladies" by Beyonce? Yeah, their choreography was sharper than any dance crew on TV. Totally mindblowing. After everything was tallied up, the winners ended up being...Sandra and Michael from my class! I'm not going to lie, I am a little jealous but they really did deserve it. Their voices are just on another level. I'm so proud of them and can't wait to see them take on the district competition next month. As for me, even though I didn't get to sing on stage this time, just helping out gave me the most amazing experience. I got to see all the backstage action, help get the performers ready, and even got to try on a pretty cool headset. It really showed me how much work goes into a huge production like this. I'm already dreaming about being a performer or stage manager when I'm older! My only suggestion for Ms. Jackson and the other teachers is to let students have a bit more input next year. Maybe we could vote on the songs or help design t-shirts and posters. It's our competition after all! I also think more people would have auditioned if the rules weren't so strict. Like why can't a group doa duet? Or let students play instruments if they want? Just some ideas to make it even more inclusive and exciting. But overall, the Singing Showdown was an absolute hit and definitely needs to become an annual tradition here. Watching my unbelievably talented classmates pour their hearts out on that stage was simply incredible. And who knows, maybe next year it will be my time to shine! I'm already starting to warm up my voice. The 2025 champion has arrived!篇4The Top 10 School Singers Was The Best!Wow, did you guys go see the Top 10 School Singers competition last week? It was so awesome! Every year our school has this huge singing contest and 10 students get picked as the best singers. This year's Top 10 was the most fun one yet. Let me tell you all about it!First off, the performances were just mind-blowing. Jessica in 5th grade opened the show singing "Let It Go" from Frozen and her voice was so powerful! She hit alleeeee those high notes perfectly. I couldn't believe it was coming from such a tiny girl. Then Mike from 4th grade did an amazing rap song with a sickbeat. He was jumping all around the stage with so much energy. We were all going crazy! But I think my favorite singer was Jeremy in 3rd grade. He's just a little kid but he stood up there on that huge stage all by himself with just a guitar and sang "Your Song" by Elton John. His voice sounded so beautiful and he played the guitar part like a total pro. I heard he'd been taking lessons for years but it was still really impressive for a 3rd grader. I wasn't the only one loving it either - all the teachers in the audience were cheering like crazy when he finished. There were a few group performances too that were epic. Did you see the Rock Band from 6th grade? Those guys were shredding on their instruments like they were in a real rock concert! And the Sisters Trio from 2nd grade did adooooorable little dance during their song that had everyone saying "Awwwwww!"Basically every performer was incredible in their own way. Our school has some SERIOUS vocal talents, that's for sure! It showed how hard they all must have prepared too. Can you imagine having to practice singing and dancing for months, then getting up on a big stage in front of a huge audience? I wouldhave been shaking in my shoes! But those Top 10 singers were total pros. Mad respect.Of course, not everything was perfect. I mean, this IS an elementary school performance after all. There were a few technical issues here and there - a microphone going out during one song, the music track failing during another. And a couple of the younger kids looked pretty nervous, which is totally understandable. Their hands were shaking a little and they went off-tune once or twice. But honestly, that just made it even more adorable and memorable. We're all kids here, so little oopsies are just part of the fun!My biggest complaint was actually with the audience... Well, some portions of it anyway. The students were being awesome giving everyone big cheers. But I saw a bunch of parents talking or even walking around during some of the performances. That's just so rude! These kids are up on stage giving their all and you can't even pay attention for a few minutes? My mom would never do that - she was cheering me hoarse the whole time. Those rude parents should be ashamed of themselves.Other than that though, the whole event was just fantastic from start to finish. I already can't wait for next year's Top 10 School Singers! They seriously need to make it a bigger eventthough. Maybe move it to the high school auditorium and sell tickets? This year there were sooooo many people trying to get in to watch that they were turning hundreds away at the door. It was insanity! If they did move it to a bigger venue, my big suggestion would be to add more performances to fill out the whole night. Like, have the Top 10 plus a bunch of other singers do shorter 1 or 2 song performances as openers. Or get some of the rejected singers to do group numbers in-between. There's so much other talent at our school that didn't get showcased.Ooh, they could also maybe do a cheesy intermission show or something! Not even kidding, whatever keeps it going longer would be great. An entire night celebrating the singing talents at our school instead of just a couple hours? Yes please!Basically, just take everything that made this year's show awesome and multiply it by 10. More singers, more songs, more dancing, MORE EVERYTHING! Go really big for once. Rent out big lights and pyrotechnics and crazy visuals to make a huge production. Set up a fancy backstage area for performers. Get a professional crew to run it all. Charge 10 a ticket and it could even be a school fundraiser!I'm telling you, people would go bonkers for a huge event like that. Our school ALWAYS sells out the terrible annual talent shows because performing kids are just so adorable. Can you imagine if we actually put on a huge, high-quality show displaying amazing talents? People would be chomping at the bit to get tickets! Probably篇5The School's Top 10 Singers Was Awesome!Wow, the School's Top 10 Singers competition was so cool! I had such a fun time watching all my friends sing on stage. There were some really great performances and some not so great ones too. But it didn't matter because everyone was just having a blast!I think Jamal should have won first place. His singing of "Old Town Road" was amazing! He really worked the stage and got everyone dancing and clapping along. My best friend Emily came in second place singing "Let It Go" from Frozen. Her voice is so beautiful and gave me chills. I voted for her like a million times! There were a couple of performances that were kind of boring though. Sarah sang "Hello" by Adele but she just stood there looking super nervous the whole time. I felt bad for her.And Tommy picked a really old song that nobody knew so people were just kind of sitting there awkwardly. Singing contests are way more fun when the singers pick popular songs everyone can sing along to.I got some ideas for how to make next year's competition even better:Have a professional singer or music teacher help the students pick their songs and coach them on performing. That way nobody will pick something boring or too hard for them.Let students sing duets or form small groups if they want to. Singing with friends could help kids who get really nervous.Have a "Judges' Pick" prize in addition to the audience vote winners. That way good singers who aren't as popular could still get recognized by the teachers.Play fun music videos on the big screen while judging the votes. It would be cool to watch current hits and get ideas for next year.Sell con cession food and drinks. I got really hungry sitting through all those performances! Popcorn, candy, and soda would be a great fundraiser.Overall, I had a blast at the singing competition. It was so exciting to see my friends working so hard and being brave enough to perform in front of everybody. I'm already practicing my song for next year - maybe "Old Town Road" so I can beat Jamal! Haha just kidding, he was awesome. But I'm definitely going to enter because it's such a fun way to share my love of singing with everyone. I can't wait for next year's Top 10 Singers!篇6Here's a 2000 word essay about a school singing competition, written from the perspective of an elementary school student in English:The Super Awesome School Singing ContestBy Amanda Thompson, 5th GradeGuess what? Our school just had the most amazing singing competition ever! It was called the "Super Awesome School Singing Contest" and it was really, really cool. I'm going to tell you all about it.First, they had auditions a few weeks ago. Everybody who wanted to enter had to sing in front of the music teachers. I was super nervous, but I sang "Let It Go" from Frozen. The teacherssmiled and wrote stuff down on their clipboards, so I think I did okay. A lot of kids tried out – there were singers from every grade, even kindergarteners! After the auditions, the teachers picked the 10 best singers to compete in the finals. I was picked! I was so excited. The other finalists were:Michael from 3rd gradeSamantha from 4th gradeThe Twin Terrors (Zack and Cody) from 2nd gradeJamal from 5th gradeEmily from 1st gradeJazz Hands Harry from 4th gradeDestiny from 3rd gradeCarly from 5th gradeBroccoli Rob from 1st gradeMe!We all had to pick a different song to sing for the finals. I picked "How Far I'll Go" from Moana because I love that movie. Some of the other kids did Disney songs too, but others did pop songs or even made up their own silly songs. On the night of the finals, the whole school gathered in the auditorium. The place was packed – there were parents, teachers, even a few people from the school district office. We could hardly hear the principal introducing the show over all the cheering! Then the singing began. Michael went first and he was really good. Samantha was after him and she had some weird dance moves, but sang nicely. Zack and Cody were hilarious with their song about burping. I don't think the judges knew what to make of them! Jamal was okay, but he looked incredibly nervous. Tiny Emily from 1st grade didn't seem scared at all – she smiled hugely and bellowed out her song like a tiny opera singer. What a set of lungs!Jazz Hands Harry lived up to his name with all the arm waving. Destiny sang beautifully but didn't have much stage presence. Then it was my turn...I got a little shaky at first, but I just pretended I was singing to my dog Rascal at home and it went great. Carly and Broccoli Rob wrapped things up with a pop song and an original number about the cafeteria veggies. While the judges deliberated, we had a tiny intermission. Then they called us all back out onstage. The principals announced the runner-up first - it was Jazz Hands Harry! He did a million arm waves to accept his little trophy. Then came the moment of truth...The winner of the first-ever Super Awesome School Singing Contest was...ME I couldn't believe it. All that hard work practicing had paid off. I got a bigger trophy and a 25 gift card too! My parents looked like they might just burst with pride. After that, we had to sing one big finale number all together. It was "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey. What a fun classic rock song to end on! We all danced around onstage transit and had a blast.Overall, the singing competition was so incredibly awesome.A few ups and downs, some good and not-so-good singers...but everyone had fun, which is what counted. We were all already asking the music teachers when the next contest would be!Here are my thoughts and suggestions about the whole shebang:Ups:Chance for kids to showcase their talentsBrought the whole school together Parents got to see their kids onstage Prizes were cool (trophies and gift cards) Fun finale number at the end Downs:Some acts were a little weak or boring It ran pretty late on a school nightThe auditorium was hot and crowdedA few sore loser kids stormed out Suggestions for Next Year:Have separate contests by gradeLet the kids vote on best singers too Shorten it to just a few hours maxSell snacks and bottled waterHave guest judges from the community Talent show in addition to singing? Those are just my ideas! I really hope they do make this an annual thing. It was such a blast to be part of the very first Super Awesome School Singing Contest. I would enter again for sure! Whewww...my vocal cords are still recovering. :) Thanks for reading my essay!。

关于偶像崇拜的英语作文论偶像崇拜On Idol-Worshiping英语作文篇1Idol-worshiping is very popular among youngest and different people have different attitudes towards their idols. Some youngest imitate their idols’ everything while others just like listening their music or watching their showing. As far as I am concerned, we should avoid blind worship and learn to worship our idols rationally. Some people imitate their idols everything, never miss a vocal concert of their idols and regard their idols as the most important people. Their blind worship should not be advocated because it is easy to lead to extreme behavior. In my opinion, concerning our idols, we should not only pay attention to their appearance or their achievements, but also their effort and their failure. As the saying goes, “One minute on stage takes ten years of practice.” We should learn something from our idols’ diligence and persistence. All achievements of stars come from their effort and sweat instead of their luckiness or their family background only. In addition, our idols are also ordinary people. As the result, they would make mistakes too. As rational fans, we should admire their achievements but also acknowledge their mistakes.论偶像崇拜On Idol-Worshiping英语作文篇2Idol, always focus narrative and discussion center, or is full of wit, or alone, or ever-victorious, the dash about in a battlefield, invincible; even some of their nuances we touched, from this feeling, from this move, let us find a firm ground. What kind of person should be our idol?Sing and sing -- the dignity of a nation. With its superb singing skills, solid playing skills, acting pretty famous Mr. Mei Lanfang devoted all his life to the lofty cause of people's art on the development of the motherland drama and when busy with state affairs, but the motherland was the invasion of foreign enemy, he resolutely and beard, rather spoiled by the termination of his the cause, also determined not to sing the Japanese bandits the utter innocence, feel the world every single word or phrase. He wanted to sing, but he sang to the people all over the world; he did not sing; it was out of patriotic blood. Like, it's crazy how much they worship these famous people. So, first of all, I think it's cool to admire someone who's super talented or successful, but some students take it to a whole new level. They stalk their fave celeb's social media 24/7, memorize their every move, and even try to copy their style. Like, they follow them on social media, buy all their merch, and even try to copy their style. It's like they think these celebs are perfect or something.I mean, don't get me wrong, it's cool to have idols and look up to someone for inspiration. But when you start to worship them like they're some kind of gods, that's just too much. Celebrities are just regular people, like you and me. They make mistakes, they have bad days, and they're definitely not perfect. What's even worse is when college students start to spend all their money on celebrity stuff instead of things that really matter, like their education or saving up for the future. It's like they're living in a dream world where all that matters is being like their idol. And let's not forget about the negative impact of idolizing celebrities. It can lead to unrealistic expectations, lowself-esteem, and even unhealthy behaviors like extreme dieting or cosmetic surgeries. We should be focusing on being the best version of ourselves, not trying to be someone else. So, my advice to all the college students out there is to admire and respect celebrities, but remember to stay true to yourself and focus on what's important in life. After all, being your own unique self is way cooler than being a copycat of someone else. So, let's stay grounded and keep it real, guys!篇7Hey guys, have you ever noticed how some college students are totally obsessed with celebrities? Like, they follow every move their favorite stars make, from what they wear to what they eat. It's like they can't get enough of them!I mean, it's cool to admire someone for their talent or achievements, right? But when you start trying to copy everything they do, that's when it gets a bit much. Some college students even go as far as changing their style, interests, and even their personality to be more like their idol. It's like they forget who they are just to be like someone else. And don't even get me started on how much money some students spend on merchandise or concert tickets just to feel closer to their favorite celebrity. They save up all their allowance or skip meals just to afford that new t-shirt or concert ticket. It's crazy!I think it's great to look up to someone and be inspired by them, but we shouldn't lose sight of who we are in the process. We should focus on being the best version of ourselves and following our own dreams and passions, instead of living in someone else's shadow. Let's be our own stars and shine bright in our own way!篇8Title: Superstar-Worshiping College StudentsHey guys! Have you ever noticed that some college students are totally obsessed with celebrities? I mean, like, they worship them like they're some kind of gods or goddesses. It's so crazy, right?First of all, let me tell you about this girl in my class, Emily. She is like, super obsessed with this famous singer. She has posters of him all over her room, listens to his music 24/7, and even dresses up like him for Halloween. It's like she can't live without him! I mean, it's cool to admire someone, but this is just too much, don't you think? And then there's this guy, Brian. He is like, the biggest fan of this famous actor. He knows everything about him – his birthday, his favorite food, even his shoe size! It's like he's a stalker or something. He spends all his money on buying merchandise and going to his movie premieres. It's like he's living in a fantasy world where this actor is his best friend or something.I just don't get it. Why do some college students put these celebrities on such a pedestal? It's like they have nothing better to do with their lives than obsess over people they don't even know. Like, they go crazy for famous people and think they're the coolest ever. But is it really a good thing to be so obsessed with celebrities? I don't think so!First of all, I think it's important to remember that celebrities are just regular people like you and me. Sure, they might be famous and have lots of money, but that doesn't mean they're better than anyone else. Sometimes, college students forget that and start to idolize celebrities way too much.Another thing is that celebrities are not always good role models. They might do things that are not so great, like getting into trouble with the law or saying mean things about other people. If we idolize them too much, we might start to think that it's okay to do those things too. That's not cool! Also, I think it's important to focus on our own dreams and goals, instead of just admiring someone else's life. We should work hard to achieve our own success and not just try to be like a celebrity. Have you ever noticed how obsessed some college students are with celebrities? It's like they can't stop talking about them, following them on social media, and idolizing their every move. But have you ever stopped to think about why this is happening?First of all, celebrities are everywhere these days. With the rise of social media and reality TV, it's almost impossible to escape them. They're constantly in our faces, promoting products, showing off their glamorous lifestyles, and sharing every detail of their day-to-day lives. It's no wonder that college students, who spend so much time online, end up idolizing them.Another reason why college students worship celebrities is because they see them as role models. Celebrities often have a huge influence on popular culture, setting trends in fashion, music, and lifestyle. College students, who are still figuring outwho they are and what they want to become, look up to these famous people as examples of success and style. But it's important to remember that celebrities are just regular people, like you and me. They may have fame and fortune, but that doesn't mean they're perfect. In fact, many celebrities have been caught up in scandals, made mistakes, and faced personal struggles. 大学生是否需要偶像英语作文范文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Do College Students Need Idols?Hi there! My name is Timmy and I'm in 5th grade. My teacher, Mrs. Johnson, asked us to write about whether we think college students need idols or not. At first, I didn't really know what an idol was. But then my big sister Sophia explained it to me.An idol is someone you really look up to and want to be like. They inspire you. For little kids, idols could be cartoon characters, superheroes, athletes, or even their parents! As you get older, your idols might change to movie stars, musicians, authors, or other successful people.Sophia said when she was in college, her idol was Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani girl who fought for girls' education rights even after being shot by the Taliban. Sophia really admired Malala's courage and determination. Having Malala as her idol motivated Sophia to work hard on her own studies and not take her education for granted. So after talking to Sophia, I think college students could definitely benefit from having idols. Here are a few reasons why:Idols motivate youHaving someone to look up to and try to be like can really push you to do your best. If your idol is a successful businessperson, you'll be motivated to get good grades, join clubs, and work hard towards your career goals. If your idol is an amazing athlete, you'll be motivated to train hard, eat healthy, and have discipline. Idols give you someone to aspire to be like.Idols provide guidanceNot only do idols motivate you, but they can provide guidance on how to achieve your dreams too. You can study how your idol got to where they are - the skills they learned, the attitudes they had, the sacrifices they made. Their life story can serve as a roadmap for your own journey.Idols encourage good valuesHopefully your idol is someone who worked hard, persevered through struggles, was kind and ethical, and used their talents to make a positive impact. Having such a person as your role model encourages you to develop similarly positivecharacter traits. Their examples can shape you into becoming a good person too.Idols broaden your perspectiveMaybe your idol is from a different country or culture than you. Learning about them exposes you to new ways of thinking and living. Your idol could open your eyes to global issues, philosophies, or life paths you never considered before. This can help you figure out your own passions and purpose.Idols connect you to a communityOften, idols have lots of other fans too. By sharing the same idol, you instantly have something in common with other people. You can bond over your shared appreciation, join fan clubs, go to events, and make new friends along the way! Having an idol gives you an easy way to connect with others.Having someone to look up to, learn from, and aspire to be like can give you motivation, direction, positive influences, new perspectives, and a sense of community. Those are all things that could really help college students grow and flourish during those important years. So while little kids may idolize cartoon characters and superheroes, I think it's valuable for college students to haveinspirational real-life figures as their idols as well. Idols provide role models for the kind of person you want to become. And having role models makes it easier to figure out how to achieve your dreams and positively impact the world. Those are just my thoughts though! I'd love to hear who your idols are and why you look up to them. Maybe I'll even adopt them as one of my idols too! Thanks for reading my essay. I'll be starting college in just a few more years, so hopefully by then I'll have some great idols to inspire me. Until next time!篇2Do College Students Really Need Idols?Hi everyone! My name is Timmy and I'm 10 years old. I love playing video games, watching cartoons, and reading comic books. Today, I want to talk about something that's been on my mind lately – whether college students actually need idols or not. Some of my older cousins are in college right now and they're always talking about their favorite celebrities, singers, actors, athletes篇3Should College Kids Have Idols?Hi there! My name is Timmy and I'm 10 years old. My teacher Mrs. Johnson asked us to write about whether we think college students should have idols or not. At first I didn't know what an idol was, so I asked her. She said an idol is someone you really look up to and want to be like.I have a few idols myself actually. My biggest idol is probably Spider-Man. He's so cool and brave and uses his powers to help people! I want to be a superhero just like him when I grow up. My other idol is Jackie Robinson, the first Black baseball player in the major leagues. He had to deal with a lot of meanies who didn't want him playing baseball just because of his skin color. But he kept going and became a huge star. I admire how tough and unstoppable he was.So those are my idols. But should college kids, who are much older than me, have idols too? Or is that kind of babyish for them? Here are some of my thoughts:I think it's probably a good idea for college students to have idols, as long as they are good role models. Having someone to look up to and try to be like can motivate you to work hard, be a good person, and achieve your dreams. Like if a college kid's idol is a successful businesswoman, it might push them to study business hard so they can be like their idol someday. Or if theiridol is an athlete, it could inspire them to train really hard to be a great athlete too.But you have to be careful about who your idol is. If your idol is someone lazy or mean or a troublemaker, then that's not good! You don't want to end up being lazy or mean just because that's what your idol is like. My friend Bobby's idol is this YouTuber who is always swearing and being silly. I don't really get why Bobby looks up to that guy so much. He's kind of a bad influence if you ask me!Another potential downside of having an idol is that you might get too obsessed with them. Some people become super duper fans and make their idol their whole personality. That's not healthy! You should look up to your idol but also be your own person. Don't just constantly try to copy them or you'll miss out on being yourself. There are also different types of idols. Some are real people while others are fictional characters. I think it's okay to have fictional idols when you're a kid, like how Spider-Man is my idol. But once you're a college adult, you should probably have more realistic human idols that you can actually try to be like in real life. Don't waste your time trying to be exactly like Spider-Man - he's not real!So in conclusion, I do think it's a good idea for college students to have idols, as long as the idol is a good role model and the student doesn't go overboard. Having someone to look up to and learn from can motivate you and help guide you to be successful. Just don't pick a bad idol and don't obsess over them too much. Idolize them in a healthy, balanced way while still being your best self.Okay, that's my essay! Let me know if any college kids out there agree or disagree with me. Idols are important but you can't let them take over your whole life. Everything in moderation, as my mom always says! Thanks for reading, gotta go play some Nintendo now. Later days!篇4Do College Students Need Idols?Hello, my name is Emily, and I'm a fifth-grader at Sunshine Elementary School. Today, I want to talk about something that's been on my mind lately: whether college students need idols or not. I know I'm just a kid, but I think this is an important topic that affects a lot of people, including my older siblings and their friends. When I was younger, I used to have a lot of idols. I loved Disney princesses like Cinderella and Ariel, and I wanted to be just like them. I would dress up in their costumes, sing their songs, and pretend to be a princess in a magical kingdom. As I grew older, my idols changed. I started looking up to pop stars like Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande. I loved their music, their fashion sense, and how confident they seemed on stage.Having idols was a lot of fun for me when I was little. It gave me someone to look up to and aspire to be like. I would imagine myself as a famous singer or actress, performing on stage and inspiring other kids like me. But as I got older, I started to realize that idols aren't always what they seem. You see, idols are often just characters or personas created by companies or the media. They're not real people, at least not entirely. They're carefully crafted images designed to appeal to fans and sell products. The real person behind the idol might be very different from what we see on TV or social media. That's why I think it's important for college students to be careful about idolizing people, especially celebrities or influencers. These people might seem perfect on the outside, but they're just human beings with flaws and struggles like the rest of us.Instead of idolizing someone else, I think college students should focus on finding their own passions and goals. They should look for role models or mentors who can guide them and inspire them to be their best selves, but they shouldn't put these people on a pedestal or try to be exactly like them.College is a time for self-discovery and personal growth. It's a time to figure out who you are and what you want to do with your life. If you spend all your time idolizing someone else, you might miss out on finding your own unique path. That's not to say that college students can't have heroes or people they admire. There are plenty of amazing people out there who have made incredible contributions to the world, like scientists, artists, activists, and entrepreneurs. It's okay to look up to these people and be inspired by their achievements, as long as you don't lose sight of your own goals and values. At the end of the day, the most important thing is to be true to yourself. Don't try to be someone else's version of perfect. Embrace your quirks, your flaws, and your unique talents. Surround yourself with people who support and encourage you to be your best self, not people who pressure you to be someone you're not.So, do college students need idols? In my opinion, not really. They might enjoy following certain celebrities or public figures, but they shouldn't idolize them or try to be just like them. Instead, they should focus on finding their own passions, setting their own goals, and becoming the best version of themselves they can be.That's just my two cents as a kid, though. What do you think? Do you agree or disagree with me? I'd love to hear your thoughts!篇5Do College Students Really Need Idols? An Essay by a KidHi everyone! I'm a 10-year-old kid and I want to talk about something super important today - idols! You know, those famous singers, actors, YouTubers and athletes that everyone loves? The big question is, do college students actually need idols? Let me share my thoughts!First off, what even is an idol? To me, an idol is someone you really really admire and look up to. They inspire you to be better and dream bigger. Maybe it's a singer with an amazing voice who makes you want to start singing too. Or an athlete who works super hard and never gives up, so you get motivated topractice your sport more. Idols can make you excited to try new things! Now, why would college students need idols? Well, I think college is a really big deal. You're not a little kid anymore, but you're also not quite a full adult yet. It's a huge life stage where you have to figure out your path and what you want to do with your future. That can be crazy stressful and overwhelming! Having an idol to look up to and learn from could help give college students motivation, guidance and inspiration when things get tough.Let me give you some examples from my big cousin who's in college. He loves this basketball player named Stephen Curry, who is just silly good at shooting 3-pointers. My cousin says watching Curry work so hard and achieve his hoop dreams pushes him to go the extra mile in class and clubs. Curry's dedication reminds my cousin to never slack off either. How cool is that?Or take my aunt who is obsessed with Beyonce. She says Queen Bey isn't just an idol for her amazing singing and dancing. Beyonce also runs her own entertainment company as a Black woman, defying stereotypes and glass ceilings. My aunt feelsempowered knowing she too can chase her business ambitions without limits. Representation really does matter!Even I have idols at my age, like the Mexican boxer Ryan Garcia. He overcame a tough childhood through boxing to provide for his family. His story motivates me to work hard on my goals too. If a kid like me benefits from an idol, just imagine how much more college students could! But maybe you're thinking - aren't idols just a silly celebrity crush thing? I get it, idols can seem a bit cringey and superficial sometimes, especially if you obsess over them too much. Some people don't like feeling like they "need" an idol and prefer finding motivation from within themselves. That's fair! However, I think there's a balance to be had. You don't need to plaster your dorm with a thousand posters and list their middle name as your phone password or anything! But having someone you truly admire and gain wisdom from isn't a bad thing at all. Idols can be a healthy external source of inspiration alongside your own internal drive. You just have to be a bit mature about it.At the end of the day, we all need a little help and uplifting energy sometimes, especially during those crazy years of young adulthood. If an idol brings you joy and pushes you forward, then I think it's perfectly okay for college folks to have idols! Maybe give it a try and see if anyone out there resonates with you.Just don't go too overboard and forget that you're also your own incredible person with mad potential! You've got this college thing and life thing - with OR without an idol cheering you on. But having a role model certainly can't hurt on your exciting journey ahead! Those are my 0.02 as a kiddo looking in. Let me know what you think, college folks! Do you have an idol who inspires you? I'm curious to hear about your experiences with idols and would love to learn more. Thanks for reading my essay!篇6Do College Students Really Need Idols?Hi friends! Today I want to talk about a very interesting question - do college students really need idols? What are idols anyway?Idols are people who are famous and very popular, especially with young people. They could be singers, actors, YouTubers, athletes or even just cool, good-looking regularpeople. A lot of kids and teenagers look up to idols and want to be just like them. Some idols are good role models who work hard, stay out of trouble and try to be a positive influence. But some idols behave badly, get into trouble with the law, or promote things that aren't good for kids like smoking, drinking too much, or being disrespectful. So should college students, who are already young adults, still have idols that they look up to so much? Or is it time for them to move on from idolizing celebrities? Let's explore both sides:Why College Students May Need IdolsEven though college students are getting older and more mature, they still face a lot of pressure, stress and difficult choices. Having an idol to look up to could provide some inspiration and motivation. If the idol works extremely hard at their sport, music, or other talent, it could push the student to also work hard on their studies or other goals. If the idol overcame major challenges through perseverance, it could inspire the student to not give up when things get tough.Idols are also inspiring because of their incredible skills, achievements and lifestyles. A business student might idolize a successful entrepreneur. An arts student might idolize a famous painter or musician. Seeing what's possible could drive them to unlock their own potential.Additionally, college is still a confusing time of figuring out your identity and path in life. An idol could provide a sense of belonging to a supportive fan community. Their values, messages and image could help guide students through these formative years. Why College Students Don't Need IdolsOn the other hand, some would argue that by the time you reach college, you should be finding your own identity instead of living vicariously through idolizing others. College is when you become a truly independent adult.Rather than looking up to conventional idols like celebrities, college students should be inspired by bigger things - great thinkers, revolutionary innovators, courageous leaders who changed the world. These are the true role models who can push you to make your maximumpositive impact. There's also the risk of idols being bad influences or letting you down. When you idolize someone so intensely, you're bound to feel devastated if they disappoint you through scandals, legal troubles or generally bad behavior behind-the-scenes. Why put so much faith in flawed human beings? Finally, idolizing others could hold you back from focusing on your own goals, talents and sense of self. The college years are for discovering your own purpose and passions - not living in someone else's shadow. My StanceSo what do I think after weighing both sides? In my opinion, I don't think college students necessarily need idols in the traditional celebrity sense. At that age, you're becoming a grown-up who should find role models and inspiration from great leaders, innovators, philosophers and history-makers.However, I do think it's okay to still idolize certain people's skills, work ethic or achievements, as long as it motivates you in a positive way. An aspiring athlete can idolize a professional player's talents and dedicate themselves to training just as intensely. A musician can idolize a singer's craftmanship and strive for that level of artistry. The key is to not get obsessed or lose yourself in idolizing someone else. Make sure the people you look up to are truly good role models using their influence for positive change. Most importantly, never idolize someone so much that you don't feel empowered to build your own amazing path and identity. So in summary - feel free to find inspiration wherever you can, but always be your own kind of idol too. Work hard, dream big, make the world better, and let your unique talents shine!。

大学该不该有偶像英语作文

大学该不该有偶像英语作文

大学该不该有偶像英语作文Should Universities Have Idols?College, a time of exploration and self-discovery, often leaves students wondering who to emulate and admire. The question of whether universities should have idols is a hot topic among students and educators alike. On one side, having idols in university can provide a sense of direction and inspiration. Think of those successful alumni who've made it in their fields – they're not just names on a plaque, but living proof that with hard work and dedication, anyone can achieve their dreams. Their stories encourage students to persevere and aim high. But on the other hand, relying too heavily on idols can stifle creativity and individuality. Every student is unique, with their own talents and passions. If everyone is striving to be like a certain idol, where's the room for innovation and originality? University should be a placewhere students are encouraged to think outside the box, not just follow in someone else's footsteps. Moreover, idols can sometimes set unrealistic expectations. The lives of celebrities and successful individuals are often glamorized, hiding the hard work and sacrifices they made to get there。

大学英语口语小组讨论 ----- if we should idolize pop stars -----
Part 1 Dialogue
Firstly, let's listen to a dialogue between two friends. A: you’ re a big fan of Jay Chou, aren’ t you?
B: yes, I’ ve been got all his albums and most of his films on dvd. I adore him. He’ s my idol.
A: how come you don’ t have all of his films on dvd?
B: some of his early films are hard to find nowadays, especially the ones where he only played a bit part.
A: I see. I’ m sure you’ ll find them one day. I see you also have several post er of him.
B: yeah. These posters are new. I bought them last week and put them up on my bedroom walls yesterday.
A: are you a member of his fan club?
B: I was, but then I discovered you can find out everything for free on the internet, so I’ m not a membe r now.
A: did you see the interview with a Jay Chou in cosmopolitan magazine last month?
B: of course! I bought two copies.
A: two copies? One is to keep and the other to cut the pictures out of, right?
B: yes.
Part 2 Discussion
After listening to the d ialogue, let ’ s talk about if we should idolize pop stars.
C: in my viewpoint, taking pop stars as idols is acceptable. Most pop stars can be role models for people. For example, sports stars accept the admiration that goes with their sporting excellence. A lot of kids look at the great athletes as idols and try to emulate them. They learn what makes a good athlete. It takes determination, discipline, sacrifice, hard work, as well as respect for opponents. These are the qualities that ensure success in any field.
D: Yeah, I agree with you. And movie stars can also do the same. Idol fans love them not only because of their exterior beauty, but also because of the deeper, inner beauty of confidence, passion and kindness. And, moreover, some idol’ s rough road s to success can put the fans in mind of the ceaseless efforts needed in pursuing their dreams.
A: To some extent, what you said is reasonable. But I still think taking pop stars as idols is unacceptable. Idolizing pop stars often distracts students ’ atte ntion and interferes with their
studies. In addition, being a pop star looks great on the outside, but the outside isn’ t always the whole picture. B: yeah, and to make matters worse, fans waste a considerable
amount of valuable time because they often go out of their way to court the excitement of meeting their “ beloved ” face to face.
C: In a word, we can't go blind worshipping a person, he must have the quality we need to learn and respect.
D: So we must learn their worth learning.
