Last summer, I began the biggest adventure(冒险) of my life. I moved from a tiny city in England to one of the largest cities in the world.

As the plane landed in Beijing, I (1) felt (feel) excited—I finally arrived after months of planning! One of the first things I did was to visit one of the city's hutongs. When I was a child, my parents often took me to a run­down house in a thick for est. No other children ever stayed there. I didn't even have the choice of (1) playing (play) with a brother
