If it had not been for your assistance in ___________ , I fear that I would have been_________.Every one agrees that it was you who______________.Again, I would like to express my warm thanks to you! Please accept my gratitude.

为此,当你写感谢信时,应这样写:“Thank you for your beautiful roses.”;而不要笼统地写上“Thank you for your beautiful gift.”,这样,使人觉得你既礼貌,又诚心,从而真正达到交往的目的。

As I sit here reflecting on our friendship over the years, I'm filled with an immense sense of gratitude for having you in my life. Our bond has weathered countless storms, transcended cultural barriers, and proven time and again that true friendship knows no boundaries.Looking back, I can vividly recall the day we first met. It was during the orientation week of our freshman year at university. I was a wide-eyed, nervous international student from China, overwhelmed by the unfamiliar surroundings and the daunting prospect of navigating a new chapter in a foreign land. Amidst the chaos, you approached me with a warm smile and an outstretched hand, offering to be my guide in this unfamiliar territory. Little did I know that this simple act of kindness would blossom into a friendship that would shape the course of my life. Those initial days were challenging, to say the least. I struggled with homesickness, language barriers, and the weight of cultural differences. But you were there, a constant source of support and encouragement, patiently guiding me through the intricacies of campus life and helping me find my footing. Your kindness and understanding knew no bounds, and you never once made me feel like an outsider.I can still vividly recall the countless hours we spent together, studying in the library, grabbing coffee at the student union, or simply chatting about our dreams and aspirations. You were a tireless mentor, helping me navigate the complexities of academic writing, proofreading my essays, and offering invaluable advice on how to improve my English skills. Your patience and dedication were truly remarkable, and I will forever be grateful for the countless lessons you taught me, both academic and personal. But our friendship extended far beyond the confines of the classroom. You introduced me to the rich tapestry of your culture, sharing stories of your traditions, customs, and beliefs. In turn, I had the privilege of sharing my own cultural heritage with you, and together we embarked on a journey of mutual understanding and appreciation. Those moments ofcross-cultural exchange were not only enlightening but also deeply enriching, broadening our perspectives and challenging our preconceptions.I can never forget the countless adventures we embarked upon, from exploring the vibrant city we called home to embarking on weekend road trips to nearby destinations. Each excursion was an opportunity to create cherished memories and forge an unbreakable bond. Whether it was trying exotic cuisines, attending cultural festivals, or simply getting lost in the beauty of nature, every moment was a testament to the power of friendship to transcend boundaries and unite souls.Of course, our friendship was not without its challenges. We faced our fair share of misunderstandings, cultural clashes, and heated debates. But through it all, we learned the invaluable lessons of compromise, empathy, and respect. We discovered that true friendship is not about agreeing on everything but about accepting and embracing our differences, recognizing that diversity is a strength, not a weakness. As the years passed, our friendship only grew stronger, weathering the storms of life's inevitable challenges. When my family back home faced financial hardships, you were there, offering not only emotional support but also practical assistance, helping me find part-time work and ensuring I could continue my studies. And when you faced personal struggles, I was honored to return the favor, lending a sympathetic ear and offering unwavering support.篇2Dear Jessica,I hope this letter finds you well! I wanted to take some time to express my sincere gratitude for your friendship and all the ways you have supported me during my studies abroad. You have truly made such a positive impact on my life.As you know, when I first arrived in your country, I was absolutely terrified. Everything was so new and different from what I was used to back home in China. The language, the culture, the way of life – it was all completely foreign to me. I remember feeling so overwhelmed and doubting whether I had made the right choice in coming here to study. Those early days were incredibly challenging. Simple things like going to the grocery store or navigating public transportation seemed like monumental tasks. I struggled so much with the language barrier and felt like I stuck out like a sore thumb everywhere I went. There were many moments where Ifelt utterly alone and wanted nothing more than to book a flight back home. However, meeting you changed everything. From the moment we became friends in our English literature class, you embraced me with open arms. You didn't judge me for my broken English or my cultural differences. Instead, you patiently helped me practice the language, taught me local slang and idioms, and gave me insights into your culture. You included me in your friend group and made sure I never felt like an outsider. With your support, my confidence started to grow. I was no longer afraid to stumble over my words or make mistakes. You created a safe space for me to learn and improve my English skills. You also encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and immerse myself in the local culture through things like joining clubs, attending events, and trying new foods. Thanks to you, what once seemed utterly foreign gradually became familiar and comfortable.Beyond just helping me adjust, you've been an incredible study partner and motivator. When I felt overwhelmed by assignments or exam stress, you were always there to provide a calming voice of reason. You helped me develop better study habits, edit my papers, and prepare for presentations. Yourexcellent time management skills and strong work ethic inspired me to raise my own standards. Thanks to your guidance, I've been able to maintain high grades while also allowing time for fun.One of the things I admire most about you is your passion for learning. You have such an insatiable curiosity about the world and always want to expand your knowledge. Your enthusiasm is contagious and has rubbed off on me in the best way possible. You've helped broaden my perspective on so many topics through our lengthy discussions and debates. From philosophy to politics to pop culture, you've challenged me to think critically and consider different viewpoints. I'm certainly a more well-rounded person because of our friendship.I'll never forget the day you took me to volunteer at the local homeless shelter. giving back to those less fortunate is a value you hold dear, and you wanted me to experience it too. Despite my initial hesitation, I quickly realized how rewarding it felt to serve a warm meal and provide comfort to those struggling. You inspired me to make volunteering a regular part of my life, and it's now one of the most fulfilling experiences I have. I thank you for awakening that sense of social responsibility in me.On a lighter note, you've also introduced me to so many amazing new experiences that I'll forever cherish. From teaching me how to ski and going on weekend hiking trips, to taking me to incredible concerts and comedy shows, you've ensured that my time abroad has been incredibly fun and memorable. Because of you, I've stepped out of my shell and stepped outside of my comfort zone in the best way possible. My fears and insecurities have been replaced by a sense of adventure and an eagerness to try new things.I'll be forever grateful for the ways you've embraced me and helped me grow as a person these past few years. You've gone above and beyond what any friend owes another. When my family back home worries about me being so far away, I always reassure them that I'm in good hands because you're a part of my life. You've become like a sister to me.Words can hardly express how much your support has meant, but I'll do my best. Thank you for your kindness, your patience, your wisdom, your humor, and most of all, your unconditional friendship. You've played such a pivotal role in my journey of self-discovery and personal growth while studying abroad. This experience would not have been nearly as rich or fulfilling without you by my side.I know our adventures are far from over, but I already feel nostalgic thinking about the day when we'll eventually have to part ways because of graduations or new opportunities in different places. But I take comfort in knowing that we'll be friends for life no matter where our paths lead. I'll be forever grateful that our paths first crossed here. With deepest gratitude,Li Hua篇3Dear Michael,I hope this letter finds you well and in good spirits back home in Australia. It's been a few months since you returned after spending a year as an exchange student at my university here in Beijing, but I wanted to take the time to truly express my gratitude for your friendship and the incredible impact you had on my life. When we were first introduced through the international student buddy program, I have to admit I was a bit nervous. My English skills were decent from years of study, but actually conversing with a native speaker felt daunting. Would I be able to understand your accent? Would you understand mine? I neednot have worried, because from the very first moment, you greeted me with such a warm smile and eagerness to connect that any nerves quickly melted away. Those initial conversations stretched on for hours as we discovered all the ways our lives differed, yet how many similarities and shared interests we had as well. You told me all about growing up in Sydney - learning to surf before you could walk, embracing the laid-back beach lifestyle, and developing a passion for vegemite at a young age (I still don't understand how you can eat that stuff!). In turn, I shared what it was like being raised in the hustle and bustle of Beijing, the only child in a family with tremendously high expectations, and how I fell in love with basketball after joining a local youth team. Our budding friendship was mutually beneficial from the start. You were able to practice your Chinese language skills with me, as I struggled through conversations in English. We attended each other's favorite cultural events - from watching an Australian rules football match (completely bonkers that game!) to wandering through ancient alleyways in this city I've called home my whole life yet you helped me see with fresh eyes. We swapped books, movies, TV shows, and music highlighting our respective cultures. Before long, we were ob-noxiouslycode-switching, peppering our sentences with Chinglish phrases and slang from both languages. Most importantly though, Michael, you became far more than just a language partner. You were my guide to experiencing and understanding a world vastly different from the one I had known. Your insightful questions and earnest desire to learn motivated me to examine my own culture, traditions, and identity more deeply. Straddling the line between worlds, I began to see bothauld lang syne and the modern, global era unfolding around me. Your outside perspective helped me appreciate the richness of my heritage while also sparking an curiosity to explore beyond Beijing.I vividly remember the day we were strolling through the gardens at the Summer Palace when you turned to me and said "Do you realize how incredible this is? To just walk through a place where emperors and empresses once lived? Where history seemingly surrounds us? Coming from such a young nation, I don't have opportunities like this back home." In that moment, I did realize the significance and felt an immense pride in being able to share these cultural treasures with you. Your earnest awe and appreciation reinvigorated my own.At the same time, you opened my eyes to the incredible natural beauty and wonders of your homeland. Your stories of weekend camping trips and hikes amidst untouched wilderness left me feeling both envious and determined to experience the bounty of Australia's landscapes with my own eyes one day. The photographs you showed me of the Great Barrier Reef, Uluru, the Outback, and those bizarre marsupials you call animals made me feel like a naturalist exploring a new continent for the first time. Between the two of us, we had knowledge of not one, but two worlds to share. Our worldly perspectives melded together in our academic pursuits as well. I'll never forget the amazing conversations we had analyzing the works of Shakespeare, Confucius, Lu Xun and Golding through a cross-cultural lens. Clustering together in the library, we would parse apart the themes, symbols, and philosophies - finding enlightening new meaning incenturies-old texts by viewing them through each other's eyes. Our study sessions made me a better student, providing me with deeper insights I could have never achieved on my own.Which brings me to the main purpose of this letter - to thank you, Michael, for your friendship and for the invaluable experiences you brought into my life. In just one short year, youprofoundly impacted my way of thinking, communication abilities, cultural awareness, personal growth, and overall zest for exploration. You helped me become a true global citizen of the world. The connections we formed, knowledge we exchanged, and memories we made together will stay with me forever. While your physical presence may have departed Beijing, the seeds of curiosity, openness and wanderlust you planted in me continue to blossom and thrive. Just this past semester, I plucked up the courage to apply for a study abroad program - hopefully fulfilling a long-held dream to travel to Australia and experience your home the same way you experienced mine. If accepted, I know the foundations you helped build in me - to embrace other cultures, adapt to new environments, and always stay inquisitive - will ensure I have an extraordinary adventure Down Under.Who knows where life will lead after that? Such is the nature of international perspectives and connections in our globalized world today. But I do know this - no matter where I go or what future experiences await, a piece of you will follow. Your spirit of friendship across cultures, passion for building understanding between peoples, and warmth in welcoming someone like me will forever remain a part of my identity.I eagerly await the day when our paths cross again, Michael. Whether back in Beijing or Sydney or somewhere entirely new, I know I'll once again be greeted by that same beaming smile and infectious enthusiasm for discovery. Two old friends, united, with a world of possibilities ahead. Until then, stay curious, chase adventure, and know that you've impacted this life in profound ways.Zàijiàn,Li Hua。

英语作文李华向外国朋友表示感谢Dear My Foreign Friends,My name is Li Hua and I am 9 years old. I live in Beijing, China with my mom, dad, and little brother Xiao Ming. I am writing this letter to say a huge thank you for being my friends!I still remember the first day I met you all. It was at the park near my house on a sunny Saturday morning. I was playing on the swings by myself when a group of you came over and started playing too. At first, I was a little shy because you looked different than my Chinese friends and you spoke a language I didn't understand. But then one of you smiled really big and said "Hello!" in Chinese. I smiled back shyly. You asked if you could push me on the swing and I nodded yes. As I swung back and forth, giggling, I realized you seemed just like any other kids who wanted to play and have fun. We started taking turns on the swings and slides. Even though we couldn't understand each other's words, we could understand each other through our laughter and play. After that day at the park, we started playing together all the time. Our parents would bring us to the playground and we would run around chasing each other, climbing the monkey bars, and playing tag and hide-and-seek. Sometimes your families would invite me over to your homes for sleepovers and we would have dance parties, do arts and crafts, and watch movies together (even if I didn't understand all the words). You taught me some words and games from your countries like "duck duck goose" and I taught you classic games we play in China like "Lubi Shoushou." We drew pictures together using crayons and colored pencils, making suns and rainbows and crazy monsters on the papers. My personal favorite thing we did was putting on little shows and plays, dressing up in costumes and performing songs and dances for our parents.I'll never forget the time we put on a big performance of The Little Mermaid for our families. You were Ariel, beautifully singing "Part of Your World" in English, while I played Sebastian singing in Chinese. We had painted big seashell bras that day and were so proud of our costumes. Our parents clapped and cheered for us so loudly when we took our bows at the end.Having friends from different countries has taught me so much about the world beyond Beijing. You've taught me about the foods, holidays, and traditions that are special in your home countries. You've taught me little phrases in your languages like "merci," "gracias," and "danke." Most importantly, you've taughtme that kids can be friends and play together no matter where they are from or what language they speak. If it wasn't for you, my wonderful friends from around the world, I wouldn't have learned how to share and be kind to those who are different from me. I wouldn't have gotten to experience so many amazing cultures through your stories, food, and games. My life is so much richer because you came into it.Thank you for being my friends and thank you for teaching me. My world got so much bigger because of you. I hope we can continue to play together, learn about each other's cultures, and make more amazing memories. Maybe one day, I'll get to visit your home countries and you can all show me around!I will keep practicing my English and maybe I'll even learn some of your other languages. Then we can really understand each other and be super great friends forever! Okay?Love,Your Friend Li Hua。
