1998年，20岁的李勇中专毕业，走出校门，就面临着就业的艰难。
1999年3月，李勇总算找到了一份工作，在南昌的一家小电器厂当上了一名装配工，每天给电源稳压器拧螺丝钉。
一个月下来，当他把平生的第一份工资－－330元钱捧到父母面前。
是的，或许因为从小生在乡下，或许因为个儿矮，他不但是个木讷的人，甚至连走路都溜墙跟走。
有着深深自卑的人往往是极自尊的。
但是李勇明白……“一个人要成功，必须要有好的工具，就像赛马一定要有好马一样！”一个偶然的机会他从网上看到……“上海正在开办疯狂英语强化集训营。
”这是条一般人看到都会摇头的广告，且不说几天时间学好英语近乎神话，数千元的学费也实在太贵了。
可他马上来了精神，打电话要求预留名额。
8月1日,揣上借来的2000元钱，向公司请假，赴上海去学英语。
到那儿一看，才知道同事们的劝说确实不差，他只有初中的英语水平，加上乡下的英语教学连读音都带有方言音，何况七八年时间荒废了，他的英语基础近乎零。
这是需要勇气的时刻，这是挑战自我的机遇。
他认定自己的敌人并非陌生的语言，而是自己，自己见人脸红的个性，自己老是不敢大声发音的嘴巴。

【开场白】一个小男孩，从小就害羞自闭，连电话都不敢接，认为自己的人生一片灰暗，毫无光彩。

资料一:人物简介李阳, 1969年生，1986年考入兰州大学工程力学系。

我们有时候开玩笑会说，你这英语怎么觉得像伦敦郊区，或者像纽约农民等等。
能不能找一句英语的简单的句子，然后用不同的方言，给我们展示一下不同英语风格是什么样子的？李阳：其实主要是两种英语，一种美国英语，一种英国英语。
美国英语相对更放松一点，举一个例子，最简单的一句“早上好”，美国人就会说Good morning，相对卷舌音重一点，放松一点，自信一点。
英国人刻板一点，Good morning，就好像嘴巴张得很小。
李南：很拘谨的样子，很绅士。
李阳：很拘谨，对。
然后除了这两种之外，剩下都是方言了，中国人说英语，Good morning。
印度人的英文在全世界也是很有特色的，我一般经常开玩笑，他们说one two three，印度人叫……，听不懂是什么意思。
新加坡英文也是难以入耳，日本英文就是thank you very much，日本人叫……。

然后说是两点一刻，所以我刚才冲进来，感觉有点像在玩出场。
“赶快出来啊”，呵呵，其实我一般都不玩这个。
我出场一般都很简单，因为没什么了不起的事情。
那么我来的目的，跟你们要讲的东西都不太一样。
我答应来的主要原因是说，正好我在上海也有事，然后我来以后，既然有这么多新朋友。
我的原则就是抓住一切机会，鼓励别人学英语。
这就是我来的目的。
那么，也会跟大家分享一下，一点点成功的经验。
我发现一个问题，就是要成功，最好的方法就是鼓励别人成功。
因为自己要成功真的很幸苦，所以我发现，我感到最High的时候就是带着三万人、四万人“Y ou can do it!Y ou are the best!”，我鼓励完我回家了，他们都会很兴奋，过两天又忘了，因为他们不相信他们是最棒的。
他们在几万人几千人跟我喊的时候，他们那一瞬间相信他们是最棒的。
但是那一瞬间过后，他们又回到老路上。
改变一个人很难很难，有句话叫“江山易改，本性难移”，所以各位朋友，包括主办这次会议的叶老师都肩负重任。
改变十三亿人民的恶劣习惯，需要很长时间。
所以今天来的朋友应该都是希望，大家能够一起努力，怎样把中华民族变成一个积极向上、自我充电、永远乐观的民族，这就是我们在做的事情。
这也是为什么要办一个培训论坛。
那么我的工作是教别人学英语，但是我也非常感兴趣改变别人。
但是我发现改变别人，不是简单的鼓动可以做到的。
所以昨天晚上我跟来自马来西亚的李老师，叫什么名字来着？哦，李X华，那第二个字我不认识，李什么华。
我跟他交流的时候，昨天晚上学到很多很多东西，我们谈到两点多。
我去了安东尼罗宾的课，我这辈子第一次参加成功者的演讲，成功者的大会。
