He built a large network of roads. He introduced a new writing system, currency, and set of measurements. The emperor also ordered the construction of a huge army of life-sized terracotta soldiers(兵马俑). These, he hoped, would protect his tomb after his death. The soldiers in Xi'an's terracotta museum are today light brown, but they weren't always. They began as an army of red, blue, yellow, green, white, and purple. Sadly, most of the colors did not last to the present day. After being exposed to air during excavation(挖掘), the coating under the paint began to fall off. The paint disappeared in less time than it takes to boil an egg, taking with it important pieces of history. Now new techniques are starting to reveal the army's true colors. Archaeologists (考古学家)have recently discovered an area with more than a hundred soldiers. Many of these still have their painted features, including black hair, pink faces, and black or brown eyes. Chinese and German researchers have developed a special liquid to help preserve the soldiers' colors. After they find a soldier or other artifacts(手工艺品), archaeologists spray it with the liquid. They then cover it in plastic.Archaeologists are also finding colors in the dirt around the soldiers. It's important not to disturb the dirt, so the colors won't be lost. "We are treating the earth as an artifact," says archeologist Rong Bo, the museum's leading chemist. The next challenge, says Rong, is to find a way to apply the colors to the army again. Once that happens, artists can bring Emperor Qin's army back to life in full, vivid color.() 41. From online learning platforms to interactive teaching tools, technology has changed the way students learn and teachers teach. In this essay, discuss the positive and negative impacts of technology on education.Technology has revolutionized the way we learn and teach. It has made education more accessible, personalized, and engaging for students of all ages. Online learning platforms, such as Coursera and Khan Academy, provide students with access to a wide range of courses and resources that they might not have had access to otherwise. These platforms allow students to learn at their own pace and on their own schedule, making education more flexible and convenient.Technology has also made education more personalized. With the use of data analytics and artificial intelligence, teachers can better understand their students' strengths and weaknessesand tailor their teaching to meet the needs of each individual student. This personalized approach can help students learn more effectively and retain information better.Furthermore, technology has made education more engaging. Interactive teaching tools, such as virtual reality and gamification, can make learning more interactive and fun for students. These tools can help students stay motivated and focused, and can make learning more enjoyable. However, despite the many benefits of technology in education, there are also some drawbacks. One of the main concerns is the impact of technology on students' ability to focus and retain information. With the constant distractions of smartphones and social media, students may find it difficult to concentrate on their studies and may struggle to retain information.Another concern is the digital divide. Not all students have access to technology or the internet, which can create disparities in access to education. This can be particularly problematic for students from low-income backgrounds, who may not have access to the same resources as their wealthier peers. In conclusion, technology has had a significant impact on education, both positive and negative. While it has madeeducation more accessible, personalized, and engaging, it has also raised concerns about students' ability to focus and retain information, as well as disparities in access to technology. It is important for educators and policymakers to find a balance between leveraging the benefits of technology and addressing its challenges in order to ensure that all students have access to a quality education.篇32020 Anhui Adult College Entrance Examination English Writing TopicInstructions: Write an essay on the following topic in no less than 2000 words.Topic: The Impact of Technology on EducationWith the rapid development of technology, it has greatly influenced every aspect of our lives, including education. In recent years, the integration of technology in education has become more and more common. In this essay, we will discuss the impact of technology on education in terms of teaching methods, learning outcomes, and the future of education.Firstly, technology has revolutionized teaching methods. Traditional teaching methods such as lectures and textbooks areno longer the only ways to impart knowledge. Nowadays, teachers can use multimedia tools such as videos and interactive software to make classes more interesting and engaging. This not only helps students better understand the material but also improves their retention of information. Additionally, technology allows for more personalized learning experiences, as students can access online resources and receive personalized feedback from teachers.Secondly, technology has greatly improved learning outcomes. With the help of educational software and online resources, students can access a wealth of information beyond what is available in textbooks. This allows students to explore topics in depth and at their own pace. Moreover, technology enables collaborative learning, where students can work on projects together online, regardless of their physical location. This fosters creativity and critical thinking skills, which are essential for the 21st century workforce.Lastly, technology has the potential to shape the future of education. With the rise of online learning platforms and virtual classrooms, the traditional model of education is being challenged. In the future, we may see a shift towards more personalized and flexible learning experiences, where studentscan learn anytime and anywhere. Additionally, technologies such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality have the potential to revolutionize the way we learn, making education more interactive and engaging. In conclusion, technology has had a profound impact on education, transforming teaching methods, improving learning outcomes, and shaping the future of education. As technologies continue to evolve, educators must adapt to these changes and embrace the opportunities that technology offers to enhance the learning experience for students. 2020年英语专升本安徽作文真题
2020年英语专升本安徽作文真题全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇12020 Anhui University English Major Entrance Exam Essay QuestionsPart I Writing (30%)Directions:For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a short essay on the topic of "The Influence of Social Media on People's Communication Skills". You should write at least 150 words but no more than 200 words. The Influence of Social Media on People's Communication SkillsWith the rapid development of technology, social media has become an integral part of our daily lives. It has significantly changed the way we communicate with each other, but what impact does it have on our communication skills? On one hand, social media has made communication more convenient and efficient. People can easily connect with eachother, no matter how far apart they are. This has undoubtedly improved our ability to stay in touch with friends and family members. Moreover, social media platforms provide us with a plethora of information, allowing us to broaden our knowledge and perspectives. However, on the other hand, the overreliance on social media has its drawbacks. Many people now prefer texting or messaging over face-to-face conversations, leading to a decrease in their verbal communication skills. Additionally, the anonymity of social media can sometimes result in misunderstandings and conflicts, as it is easier for people to misinterpret messages. In conclusion, while social media has undoubtedly revolutionized the way we communicate, it is crucial for us to strike a balance between virtual interactions and real-life conversations. By being mindful of how we use social media, we can ensure that it enhances rather than hinders our communication skills.Part II Reading Comprehension (40%)Directions:There are four passages in this part. Each passage is followed by some questions or unfinished statements. For each of them, there are four choices marked A, B, C, and D. You should decide on the best choice and mark the corresponding letter on the Answer Sheet.Passage 1Are You Addicted to Social Media?Social media is everywhere, and nearly everyone uses it in some form. But how do you know when your social media habit has become an addiction? Here are a few signs to watch out for:1. You check social media first thing in the morning and last thing at night.2. You spend more time on social media than you intended to.3. You feel anxious or irritable when you can't access social media.4. You neglect real-life relationships in favor of online connections.5. You compare your life to others' highlight reels on social media. If you find yourself nodding along to these signs, it might be time to take a break from social media and reconnect with the world around you.Questions:1. According to the passage, which of the following is NOT a sign of social media addiction?A. Checking social media first thing in the morning.B. Spending more time on social media than intended.C. Feeling anxious or irritable when unable to access social media.D. Comparing your life to others' highlight reels on social media.篇22020 Anhui English Major Special Test Writing PromptEssay Topic: The Impact of Technology on CommunicationIn recent years, technological advancements have had a profound impact on the way we communicate. From social media platforms to instant messaging apps, technology has made it easier than ever to connect with others. However, someargue that these advancements are harming face-to-face communication and weakening the quality of our interactions. One of the most significant ways technology has changed communication is through the rise of social media. Platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram allow us to stay connected with friends and family members around the world. We can share updates, photos, and videos in real-time, enabling us to feel closer to loved ones even when we're far apart. Additionally, social media has opened up new avenues for communication, such as the ability to join online communities and meetlike-minded individuals.Another major impact of technology on communication is the prevalence of instant messaging apps. Apps like WhatsApp, WeChat, and Messenger allow us to send messages, photos, and videos instantly to anyone with an internet connection. This has revolutionized the way we communicate, making it easier and faster to stay in touch with others. However, some argue that the convenience of instant messaging has led to a decline in the quality of our interactions. Instead of having meaningful conversations in person, we may opt for quick messages or emojis. On the other hand, technology has also improved communication in many ways. For example, video conferencing tools like Skype and Zoom have made it possible to haveface-to-face conversations with people thousands of miles away. This has been a game-changer for businesses, enabling teams to collaborate remotely and conduct meetings without the need for travel. Additionally, technology has made it easier to access information and resources, allowing us to communicate more effectively and efficiently.Overall, the impact of technology on communication is a complex and multifaceted issue. While it has brought many benefits, such as connecting us with others and improving access to information, it has also raised concerns about the quality of our interactions. As we continue to embrace new technologies, it will be important to strike a balance between the convenience they offer and the importance of meaningful communication. By recognizing the strengths and weaknesses of technology, we can ensure that it enhances, rather than hinders, our ability to connect with others.篇3I'm sorry, but I am unable to provide a specific document on the 2020 English Professional Examination for Anhui Province asthe questions are copyrighted material.
