Among them were two friends, Alex and Emily, who were practicing their English conversation skills.Alex, a native speaker of English, was excited to share his passion for the outdoors with Emily, who was still learning the language. As they walked through the park, they discussed the beauty of nature and the joy of being outdoors.Alex: "Emily, look at this tree! It's so tall and strong. Do you know what kind of tree it is?"Emily: "I'm not sure, Alex. What kind is it?"Alex: "It's an oak tree. And over there, you can see a group of birds flying freely in the sky. Can you identify them?"Emily: "I think they are sparrows, but I'm not sure." Alex: "Close! They are actually swallows. Swallows are known for their graceful flight and beautiful singing."Emily: "That's interesting. I had no idea there were so many different types of birds."Alex: "Yes, Emily. Nature is full of surprises. And speaking of surprises, did you know that there are many different types of outdoor activities we can enjoy?"Emily: "Really? What kind of activities?"Alex: "Well, for starters, we can go hiking in the mountains or through the forest. It's a great way to appreciate nature and get some exercise."Emily: "That sounds like fun. I've always wanted to try hiking."Alex: "Then why don't we plan a hike for next weekend?I can show you some of the best trails in the area."Emily: "That sounds perfect! I'm looking forward to it."As they continued their walk, Alex pointed outdifferent plants and animals, teaching Emily their English names and sharing interesting facts about them. What is it?"Alex: "It's a sunflower. Sunflowers are known for their bright, cheerful flowers that always face the sun."Emily: "That's amazing! I love how they always seem to be smiling."Alex: "Exactly! And did you know that sunflowers are also used to make sunflower oil, which is very healthy?"Emily: "I had no idea. You really know a lot about plants and animals, Alex."Alex: "Thanks, Emily. I've always been fascinated by nature.

1. What are the advantages and disadvantages of playing outdoor sports?Honestly, I don’t really like sports that much28. I guess I’m not a good person to ask29. But one advantage is that you have larger areas to play in. Another one is that you get fresh air while you play. But there are also some disadvantages. The first one that comes to mind is that the weather can change very quickly and ruin the game30. It would suck to be caught in a downpour31.2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of playing indoor sports?Off the top of my head, I would say that the advantages are that the environment is cleaner and more controlled than it is outside. When you’re playing outdoors, you have to worry about the weather changing. After all, it could start raining and ruin the game. But inside, you can control the temperature. You also don’t have to worry about getting too dirty. But indoor sports can get pretty crowded. The facilities are usually smaller.3. What sports involve teamwork?Lots of sports involve teamwork. I don’t know that much about sports, but I can think of a few32. For example, basketball, soccer, and volleyball all require you to be a team player. Some smaller-scale sports like badminton also have teams. You can play it in pairs. In all of those sports, you have to trust your teammates. You need to work well together.4. What kinds of outdoor sports are popular in your country?I don’t really like outdoor sports. A lot of my friends do though. As far as I know, badminton and volleyball are really popular, especially in the summer. During the last summer holiday, some people I know actually had a badminton tournament33. It was fun to watch them play together. I guess another one would be soccer. It’s probably a good way to wind down but I’d rather just watch.5. Which one is more exciting, indoor sports or outdoor sports?Personally, I think outdoor sports are a lot more exciting. Lots of outdoor sports are more intense34 than indoor sports. People get more active and adventurous when they play outside. For example, people like playing football. In that sport, you can run in a large field and have fun playing the other team. But indoor games like yoga or dancing lessons aren’t as competitive.28 that much: 注意 that 是表示程度的,表示那么多,那么强烈等。

Season1. What’s your favourite season?2. What do people in your country like to do in different seasons?3. What’s the least favourite season in your country?4. What are the differences between different seasons?5. What season is good for travelling in your hometown? I guess the autumn is the best time to travel. As it is neither too hot nor too cold, people will feel comfortable to go out. Besides, as the foliage of trees will turn yellow or red, you will find the picturesque views all around you. Wherever you go, you will experience a memorable trip. When in spring and autumn, the temperature is neither too cold nor too hot, people in China tend to hike in the mountains, or go running. When it comes to summer, people can choose more physical activities like swimming, camping in the forests and playing balls, etc. But in winter, people believe it not suitable for outdoor exercises, so they prefer to stay at home for resting.I’m afraid there is no apparent unfavourable season in my favourite, but relatively I believe summer is least favourite season because it’s much too hot everywhere which will bring inconvenience to everything, especially for people to fall asleep at night. There are four distinctive seasons in my country. Basically, summer is the hottest season of the year, while winter is coldest. Autumn and spring are not severe seasons. Moreover, in summers people love to wear light clothes while in winter use of woollen clothes increase. Summer and winter are longer seasons, while autumn and spring are shorter ones.As for my hometown, I guess the autumn is the best time to travel as in the Huangshan Mountain, it is neither too hot nor too cold, people will feel comfortable to hike. Besides, it will rains a lot which will have the stunning cloud sea in the mountain.雅思口语part 1话题Do you like swimming? Yes, I do.

I can remember so many outdoor picnics with my friends and family members. In fact we used to go outing and had our meals outside as part of the picnics very frequently even few years back. One such picnic was a boat trip to a nearby island called (say a name) where we went 3-4 years ago. It was a small island and that island had some old buildings as well as a beautiful relaxing spot surrounded by natures. The water around the island gives the impression that you have come to an exotic land. We had our picnics in this island. There was no particular occasion for the picnic; as far as I recall the community people of our locality were planning for a picnic and they settled the day in the mid-summer. On the day we had a big boat that took us to the island and we spent the whole day there.I remember eating fried rice, roasted mutton, chicken, desert, different cookies fruits and some other food items throughout the whole day during our visit in the island. We drank plenty of waters as the weather was hot. We also drank fruit juices and soft drinks in different times of the day.It was a great occasion for me. All of my family members and neighbors were present in the picnic and that was a really relaxing occasion for me. I enjoyed the boat journey and the picnic spot a lot. I played and chatted with the neighboring kids and that was a very interesting and enjoyable gathering in myopinion.Tips for Talking about this Cue card topic:You can either talk about a picnic you had or a meal you took at outside of home (outdoor meal specifically). For this particular cue card, talk about the meal you remember having somewhere outside the house/ restaurant.Say that few days back you went to a family picnic at a place near the forest and river and you had played outdoor games, you swam in the river and finally you had your meal in the open field.First say where you had this picnic, give a brief description of this outdoor picnic place and then say what the occasion was and who wet with you. Also mention how reached the location and what things you saw and did there. For the third question you need to mention the foods and drinks you had there and for the final part you need to tell whether you have enjoyed the picnic or not. Give reasons for your liking and disliking. If you have described the place to be a nice one and if you have mentioned that the activities you did and things you saw there gave you pleasure, you should summarize that you really enjoyed the picnic. If you plan to say that you did not enjoy the picnic and the vacation, start from the beginning that you did not like the idea of going there and you did not like the place. This cue card asks you to talk about wither a picnic or an outdoor meal. Don’t get confused with the idea of having street food with the outdoor meal. Usually outdoor meal is synonymous to have a picnic. So describing a picnic you had would put you in a strong position of your understanding of the cue card.Similar Cue card topics:1. Describe a vacation you recently had.2. Describe a recreational place you know about.3. Describing an outing with your friend.4. Describe a meal you liked.5. Describe an activity you recently had. Describe a seaside place.Describe a seaside activity.Describe a picnic.1. Background2. Time3. Place4. People5. Activities6. Describe an outdoor sport you played for the first time 第一次做的户外运动.doc

Describe an outdoor sport you played for the first time

Describe an outdoor sport you played for the first timeYou should say:What it isWhen you first playedWho you played it withHow you learned to play the sportAnd how you felt about the sport参考答案下面给小编根据具体的题目要求,给出的原创参考答案:请小站雅思、北京新航道、上海新航道、以及智课网等机构不要抄袭本站的文章。
