After watching "A Beautiful Mind," a poignant and intellectually stimulating film, I was left with a profound sense of awe and introspection. This masterpiece, directed by Ron Howard, not only pays homage to the extraordinary life of Nobel Prize-winning mathematician John Nash but also delves into the intricate labyrinth of the human mind, where brilliance and frailty intertwine. The narrative unfolds like a delicate puzzle, gradually revealing the complex layers of Nash's character. Russell Crowe's portrayal of Nash is nothing short of mesmerizing; he masterfully captures the essence of a man whose genius is paralleled only by his inner turmoil. His journey from a brilliant yet socially awkward graduate student at Princeton University to a renowned mathematician battling schizophrenia is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit.Jennifer Connelly's performance as Alicia Nash, John's devoted wife, adds depth and warmth to the film. Her unwavering love and steadfast belief in her husband, even during his darkest moments, serve as a beacon of hope amidst the chaos of mental illness. Their relationship, fraught with challenges, beautifully illustrates the power of unconditional love and support. The cinematography elegantly mirrors Nash's psychological state, transitioning seamlessly between reality and the hallucinations that haunt him. These visual cues invite the audience into Nash's world, experiencing firsthand the blurring boundaries between what is real and imagined. The film adeptly handles the subject of mental health with sensitivity and respect, challenging stigmas and fostering empathy."A Beautiful Mind" transcends the boundaries of a typical biographical drama. It is an ode to the triumph of reason over delusion, of love over adversity. It prompts us to ponder the nature of reality and the strength it takes to persevere when confronted with our own inner demons. Moreover, it highlights the importance of scientific contribution and the profound impact one person's intellect can have on society. In conclusion, "A Beautiful Mind" is a cinematic gem that offers a compelling narrative, compelling performances, and a thought-provoking exploration of genius and its price. It is a reminder that behind every great achievement lies a deeply personal struggle, and that true beauty often resides in the resilience shown in the face of such struggles. This film is not just about John Nash; it is a reflection of the beauty that can be found in every human spirit that dares to confront, understand, and ultimately overcome its own challenges.。
"A Beautiful Mind" is a true genius on a very human drama. Handsome and highly eccentric, Nash made an mathematical discovery, began to enjoy international reputation. But Nash plagued by schizophrenia, and it made him experience tremendous change. After decades of arduous efforts, thank to Nash's wife, in love with him ,he can solve the problem. he finally overcame the unfortunate, and in 1994 received the Nobel Prize by the school. As a movie, "A Beautiful Mind" is absolutely great . Not only does it have a strong point and an importantmessage to the viewer, but the way in which it delivers the character of the figure makes me admired. Therefore, I am willing to express my views of the way which the director uses to describe the figure . First, the drop in the character makes it attractive. Versatile and brilliant, he masters math logic physics and even is awarded by Noble. However, he is diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. Faced with the fierce battles with his inner, his life suddenly takes a turn for the worse. He transforms from a genius to a mental patient and finally he becomes a winner of the Nobel .Just as some truly shocking moments in A Beautiful Mind .Alicia finds her husband's secret cache of newspaper clippings behind their house, and then remembering Marcee, Nash has a flash of insight, and he finally accepts his illness -- ironically, through his intellect. Until then do I make sure of Nash’s illness. This feeling of uncertainty makes the plot attractive.Second the way he walks, how he talks with others and what he wears makes sence. In the movie, Nash always walks dropping his head. A book in his hand, his steps is fast. These imply his loneliness .Heavoids eye-to-eye communication. He expresses himself directly without thinking about others. This implies his fear of communication and lack of friends. His tone of voice is very low and deep, sometime become abrupt because of tension. He wears suits, never be in sports clothes except when he cures his illness at home . in some degree, he talks humorously, so this can reflect his intelligence. The details lay the basis of his change and the reason why three false people can appear in his imagination.Third by the description of other people , the movie presents Nash’s change indirectly. The most impressive moment is that , when Nash goes back to his university as a librarian in school’s library, on his way home , some students imitate the way he walk and laugh at him. Nash turns his head down, hurriedly going forward. You can realize how hard for him to fight with his illness and what effort he has made to force himself to adjust to society.it delivers it in a touching and sensitive, partly even humourous kind of way, with the help of powerful actors, a great screenplay and even a few special effects to boost it up. Result in the accurate description of Nash and other figure , we can be absorbed in this movie. What’s more, good technique is an essential part of a successful movie, but, there is no doubt that the meaning of it is the most significant. What you can acquire and what you can be moved are the reasons why it is worth watching.Without separation, it gives us a satisfied ending. Finally, standing on the stage of the Nobel ,he said to his wife, Alicia” I'm only here tonight becaus e of you .You are the reason I am. You are all my reasons.” This scene makes the most memorable impression on me. After all, Nash doesn’t overcome Illness. Accompanied with his wife, he attempts to adjust himself inch by inch so that he would adapt this situation and regards them as a part of his life peacefully. The same as our growth, on the way to success, there is no doubt that we will pay the price. Faced with the obstacle, maybe you can defeat them with your effort, or perhaps you will never get rid of it, no matter whatever you cost. Only can you dilute suffering and make it weaker and less effective.。

201119010201A beautiful mindA beautiful mind --a movie tells us a story about a mathematician, Nash who is involved in schizophrenia during his study but under his wife's help he gets rid of this disease and makes a great achievement in mathematics. And finally he becomes one of the Nobel Prize winners.Just in terms of this movie's plot, it is easy for us to understand and we can know more about the things happened to him. He is diligent and patient to his study. Not until his wife Alicia forces him to go to bed will he stop his study and work. It is his diligence and patience that have touched me when I saw this movie this week. Shouldn't I learn from Nash?I can also learn something else from him. The movie's latter portion shows us that Nash is struggling against the roommate Charles, the little girl and the so called Defense Minister who are all imaginary people. But it also reflects his insistence and will. I want to say everything that once you are determined to do, as long as you persist to do and then you will be successful.Last but not least, the most important thing I want to share is the love between the couple. It does touch me. When the husband is out of his mind, the wife never fails him, and tries her best to help himcome into the normal life. Even sometimes Nash is like a child that can't do everything by himself. I remember the plot where Alicia sees that his husband can do little things on his own and think he may be well, so she let Nash look after their baby, but….But after that, Alicia doesn't resign him to fate. She comes to an agreement with her husband and Nash is determined to overcome the disease by himself. And finally under the help of his wife, he overcomes the disease and makes a great breakthrough. It is the love that works.。

A Beautiful Mind: A Heartfelt ReflectionUpon watching "A Beautiful Mind," directed by Ron Howard and starring Russell Crowe as the iconic mathematician John Forbes Nash Jr., I was deeply moved by the film's intricate portrayal of human perseverance and the indomitable spirit. Based on the true story of Nash's life, the movie offers a powerful testament to the triumph of the human mind over adversity. From the outset, we are introduced to Nash as a young, awkward yet brilliant man arriving at Princeton University on a math scholarship in 1947. Crowe's portrayal is both nuanced and raw, capturing Nash's genius as well as his social awkwardness. The film deftly balances moments of humor and pathos, making the character of Nash instantly relatable and engaging. However, what truly sets "A Beautiful Mind" apart is its exploration of Nash's struggle with schizophrenia. The film doesn't shy away from the harsh realities of mental illness, showcasing Nash's descent into paranoia and delusion with haunting realism. Yet, amidst the chaos, there is a ray of hope in the form of Alicia (Jennifer Connelly), Nash's devoted wife who stands by him through thick and thin.Connelly's performance is equally impressive, offering a poignant portrayal of a woman who loves fiercely but also struggles with the weight of her huand's illness. Her resilience and unwavering support for Nash serve as a beacon of hope throughout the film, reminding us of the power of love and companionship. One of the most striking aspects of "A Beautiful Mind" is its ability to blend fiction with reality. The film often toys with our perception of what is real and what is a product of Nash's mind, creating a sense of uncertainty that mirrors Nash's own experience. This technique is both challenging and captivating, drawing us deeper into the mind of the protagonist. Moreover, the film's treatment of Nash's mathematical achievements is handled with reverence and admiration. His groundbreaking work in game theory and its impact on the field of economics are presented in a way that honors his intellectual prowess without overwhelming the audience with jargon. In the end, "A Beautiful Mind" is a testament to the indomitable human spirit. It shows us that even in the darkest moments, there is always the possibility of redemption and renewal. Nash's journey from brilliance to madness and back again is a story of resilience and hope, a reminder that the human mind is capable of both great triumphs and devastating setbacks.Overall, "A Beautiful Mind" is a must-see film for anyone interested in the power of the human spirit and the enduring bonds of love. It is a moving and inspiring portrayal of one man's struggle to retain his sanity and his quest for true understanding. As I walked out of the theater, I was left with a profound sense of awe and admiration for John Forbes Nash Jr. and the remarkable story he lived.
Review of ‘A Beautiful Mind’A math genius, a gorgeous student, a psycho disease, a broken marriage, a Nobel Prize, an unbreakable promise, John and Alicia, may you safe and sound, in a tranquil corner of heaven.Just a few weeks ago, John died, together with Alicia, in a car accident, making the entire world burst into tears. People will no longer see that old man, lying on the lawn of Princeton University, book in hand. People will no longer see that old man, talking about his equilibrium, glowing and keen. Above all, people will all have to admit, that their devoted love has come to an end.Born as a genius, Nash was proven talented when he was young. However, a fatal disease spoiled his life. Dreams intertwined with reality, which made Nash anguished. While seeing husband suffered, Alicia was made inconsolable. However, the schizophrenia torment didn’t make them desperate, instead, it consolidated their love.Besides Alicia, there are other two men, the main characters of Nash’s nightmare. Charles, the prodigal roommate, was the best friend of John Nash, and Parcher, an illusory boss, made a world that Nash descended into, so deeply, so loyally and so inexorably. Nash’s brilliant mind was contaminated by them, whom Nash never got rid of all his life. Just as doctor Rosen said in the movie, ‘If you had suddenly learned that the people and the places and the moments most important to you were not gone, not dead, but worse, had never been. What kind of hell would that be?’ Indeed. Were I Nash, I would become mad, insane, and hysterical. I would die before I committed suicide. Nevertheless, Nash faced it toughly and survived. A real man. A real man with a beautiful mind. Then again, why would these people come into Nash’s dreams? All I could think of is that they are Nash’s reflection. The reason why he fabricated Charles is that he needed to be loved and cared about due to his failure to communicate with others. He had no friend so he created one. As for Parcher, he obviously reflected Nash’s hero complex. Moreover, I suppose the character Parcher was inseparable from the social background of that time. Parcher replaced the pentagon to satisfy Nash’s sense of honor. And the little girl, Marcee, was also Nash’s reflection of his loneliness. ‘Marcee can't be real. She never gets old.’I was overwhelmed with sorrowful emotions when I watched the movie. Nash loved the three, though trying to escape from them.Let’s lament for the dead, whose elegies were the stories of their lives. We should leave love and hate behind and pursue the true essence of a beautiful mind.。
A Beautiful Mind(美丽心灵)2001Earnest thriller-cum-weepie starring Russell Crowe as a maths genius whose life is wracked by schizophrenia. Stamped all over with 'Hollywood prestige project' and showered with awardsRussell Crowe gets the chance to act his heart out in Ron Howard's A Beautiful Mind. Not only does he portray a maths genius (based on real life Nobel Prize-winner John Forbes Nash Jr), he portrays a maths genius crippled by schizophrenia. And he ages 47 years! He turns in a chunky, twitchy performance which, though not on a par with his more subtle turn in The Insider, is admirable. He is complemented by a less flashy, underwritten turn from Jennifer Connelly.Princeton, 1947. Awkward but arrogant John Nash arrives on a maths scholarship, determined to come up with an original idea. Not bothering with classes, he obsessively writes theorem (plotting the movements of pigeons, for example). His only friend is raffish roommate Charles (Bettany), a rich source of wisecracks - "Officer, I saw the driver who hit me - his name was Johnny Walker" - and moral support. Eventually Nash comes up with a revolutionary paper that wins him a position at MIT. It's here that his eccentricities give way to madness. Although he marries beautiful student Alicia (Connelly), the top-secret code-breaking work he is apparently doing for the government -represented by Ed Harris' mysterious agent - pushes him to breaking point. Full-blown paranoid schizophrenia erupts and Nash is hospitalised, his reality a mess of mania and imagination. Three decades of struggle ensue. Although the film leaves out the seedier elements of the real Nash's life (divorce, cottaging), it fashions a loose biopic that is by turns funny, exciting, sad and downright corny. The script, by Akiva Goldsman, (who also wrote the inexcusable Batman & Robin), is riddled with pithy, but occasionally clichéd, utterances that capture these shifting tones: there's Nash's description of himself: "I'm quite well balanced - I have a chip on both shoulders" - or the description his doctor, Rosen (Plummer), later uses to describes his disease to his wife: "The nightmare of schizophrenia is not knowing what's true."Although it dallies with Cold War thriller elements, A Beautiful Mind is ultimately a formulaic tale of human perseverance, and merits comparisons with other, similar award-showered tales: notably Shine. As such, it's an above-average weepie, a Hollywood prestige film that pre-packages the sufferings of one highly intelligent man and the woman who loves him to manipulate the emotions. Although the film itself is not as smart as it imagines itself to be, it's certainly artful, with fine camera work by Roger Deakins (who shot the Coens' stylish The Man Who Wasn't There), and solid, thanks to Howard's even-tempered direction.VerdictA typical Oscars movie. Solid, middle-brow and worthy.1。
I wasn't actually planning on going to see "A Beautiful Mind" in the first place, but as it was, I was convinced by the friend that accompanied me that it was truly something to see. And now, after seeing it, I thank her for that. Instead of spending two and a half hours watching George Clooney and Matt Damon rob casinos or Kevin Spacey and Julianne Moore dealing with their problems in New Foundland, I found myself pulled into another kind of story, a powerful, emotional story of how one man learned to battle his own demons and dazzle the world."A Beautiful Mind", based on the novel by Sylvia Nasar, is the story of John Forbes Nash Jr., the genius mathematician, whose life suddenly takes a turn for the worse when he is diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. After fierce battles with his inner self, he overcomes this and returns to win the Nobel Prize in 1994 for his brakethrough game theory in economics that he had been working on during his years in Princeton University in the 1950s.John Nash, portrayed very well by the versatile and brilliant Russell Crowe, is a partly shy, yet ironic and sometimes even arrogant, gifted young student studying in Princeton University in the late 1940s. He dedicates his time to numbers and equations, set on to solving every problem at hand, rather than mingling with co-students on the football field or in the pub.Nash is later on introduced to Sylvia (played by the lovely Jennifer Connely), a physics student attending his classes. She helps Nash to open up and eventually discover love.Enter William Parcher (played by Ed Harris), a shadowy and mysterious agent working for the Department of Defense. Parcher, after realizing Nash's ability to see mathematical and geometrical patterns everywhere, approaches Nash with a m ission that involves national security. Now, amidst his work and relationship, Nash is suddenly thrown into a whirlwind of emotions and disbeliefs as he is diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. And this is the part where "A Beautiful Mind" truly shines: in portraying the disorder from Nash's own point of view. In a powerful and emotional way, it shows the viewer how difficult an illness like this can be to not only face, but overcome, something that people today may not always realize. Before seeing this movie, I must admit that I was a bit afraid that casting such a well-known actor as Russell Crowe as the main character would ruin the image of John Nash, forcing the viewer to see Crowe, rather than Nash. This is a common problem when dealing with famous actors, but to my surprise, it didn't much bother me much. And the same goes for Ed Harris. As a movie, "A Beautiful Mind" is absolutely great (It is so much more, but I cannot find the words to praise it enough, so I will simply go with "great" =). Not only does it have a strong point and an importaint message to the viewer, but it delivers it in a touching and sensitive, partly even humourous kind of way, with the help of powerful actors, a great screenplay and even a few special effects to boost it up. So for anyone whose grown tired of the consant pointless action-movies out there, and instead want to immerse themselves into a character-driven story that might actually bring a tear to your eyes, I sincerily recommend "A Beautiful Mind".。

Cold, good night.John Nash, the master of the 1994 Nobel prize in economics, is the master of the beautiful mind. The film depicts John Nash's life, from his college age to his later years to receive the Nobel prize. John Nash is a very talented mathematician, just 20 years old, is a PhD at the Princeton University, and published an article on the non cooperative game, put forward the concept of non cooperative game equilibrium, namely after be known as the "Nash equilibrium", established his position as a master of the game theory. The story of the beautiful heart is in the MassachusettsInstitute of Technology, where Onnas, the master, is studying. In the film, Nash didn't make much success during his reading. But a strange quirks, he did not give up, he has been concentrating on the study of the selected direction. During that time, he was mocked by his classmates and was denied by Professor von Neumann, and was also snubbed by Einstein. It was his persistence, the nature of defiance of authority and defiance of authority, that made him. However, genius, in his career very influential, he got a severe schizophrenia. In the film, after his success in his doctoral dissertation, he became famous overnight,And then he went into The Pentagon for the two time, and then he had hallucinations. He imagined himself working at the Ministry of defense in The Pentagon, breaking the code for national military secrets. Yes, he's really a mathematical genius, his brain computing almost body and computer. He dreamed of extracting repeated words from newspapers, magazines and other texts to discover the laws and break the code used by Soviet spies for communication. The dazzling numbers in his brain, like a high-speed computer, are staggering!Schizophrenia he, work sleep, frequent hallucinations. He experimented with his own child. When he gives a class, he has a sudden attack. In the campus, he often make some deviant behavior. He was sent to hospital for painful treatment. After watching this film, I have many feelings. First of all, John Nash's dedication to my career respected me. In the early days of college, the treatment he received, the irony hereceived, did not destroy his will. He always believed in his opinion and did not abandon it. He was eccentric, eccentric, and later schizophrenic. Personally, I think it should be related to the circumstances in which he was treated. He couldn't get into Wheeler's lab, he couldn't publish his doctoral dissertation, and he was criticized by the professor, and he could think how much mental pressure he was under. There is such a plot in the film: he hit the window with a head to head broken and bleeding. I saw his helplessness, hatred, disappointment and despair from the movie picture. But he insisted, and he didn't cross it. Finally, the success of his doctoral dissertation caused great sensation in academia and created famous scientists in the world. The Nash equilibrium theory was put forward and constantly improve the academic contribution of game theory is so large, is widely used in economics, management science, sociology, political science, military science and other fields, and laid a solid theoretical foundation.Secondly, Nash's wife in the film also left a deep impression on me. His wife Alicia admired and supported his devotion to his career, as well as his love and sacrifice for him after his illness. In real life, it is not uncommon for other relatives to abandon them when they are ill or have difficulties. After Nash suffered from schizophrenia, she not only did not abandon him, but also loved him more.Stress can bring people motivation and inspire bounty confidence. But too much pressure can have bad effects on people. Especially in the rapid pace of social today, people should learn to release their own pressure. Sawing investigation, modern college students also have great pressure, mental health problems are not in the minority. Academic, employment, economic, emotional, social and a series of problems confused them, some even on the edge of collapse. Loneliness, loneliness, insecurity, when the moment will erode their hearts. Just facing the pressure of adults, can you think their lives can be happy? As far as I am concerned, I am no exception, and these problems also erode me. Sometimes, I am helpless. But from the film, from Nash, I learned a spirit, understand what should be insisted as a college student, should give up what. Here, I also hope that schools and education departments should pay attention to students' lives, not only their academic values. While teaching them how to survive in a competitive society, they should also teach them how to improve their happiness index and how to live a happy life. Only in this way can students relieve their pressure and release their minds. Why is it called "beautiful mind"?Why is it called "beautiful mind"?"The film -- "a beautiful mind".When the actor John Nath and actress Nobel awards will leave Alex, projection screen restored calm. 美丽心灵英文评论作文英文:Beautiful Mind is a movie that has touched the hearts of many people. It tells the story of John Nash, abrilliant mathematician who struggles with schizophrenia. The movie shows the audience the struggles that Nash goes through and how he overcomes them. One of the things that I love about this movie is the portrayal of mental illness. It is not often that Hollywood accurately depicts mental illness, but Beautiful Mind does a great job of showing the audience what it is like to live with schizophrenia. The movie shows the audience the hallucinations and delusions that Nash experiences, which helps to create empathy and understanding for those who suffer from mental illness.Another thing that I love about this movie is the message of hope. Nash's journey is not an easy one, but heis able to overcome his illness and continue to live a fulfilling life. This message is important because it shows that mental illness does not have to define a person's life. With the right support and treatment, people with mental illness can lead happy and productive lives.Overall, Beautiful Mind is a powerful movie thatteaches us about mental illness and the importance of hope. It is a must-watch for anyone who wants to gain a better understanding of what it is like to live with schizophrenia.中文:《美丽心灵》是一部感人至深的电影,讲述了一个天才数学家约翰·纳什如何与精神分裂症作斗争的故事。

下面是店铺为您整理的关于美丽心灵的英语观后感,希望对您有所帮助!美丽心灵英语观后感篇一<A beautiful mind> based on the novel by Sylvia Nasar, tells the story of John Nash, a genius mathematician. The beautiful mind, as I understand, refers to the mind of Nash and the mind of his wife. From the process of success, fall and eventually to recovery, hope is always in Nash’s mind. The perseverance to overcome diseases is from the mind, but his mind has problem, so we can image how hard for him to recovery from schizophrenia without the medicine. One should never stop wishing, hoping and praying for healing. That’s the message I think the movie want to tell us. The beautiful mind is the strong mind, the mind full of hope. Another reason that Nash could recovery is the supports from his wife. We always heard the news that a vegetable was wake up in the love shining. And I think it’s similar that Nash keeps hope because of his w ife’s love. An old saying goes “Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength. Loving someone deeply gives you courage”. The beautiful mind also refers to the mind of his wife, the mind full of love. Not only the struggle Nash had made but also the true love between Nash and his wife did bring us to tears. The most touching part of the film is the end when Nash posted the speech. He found that only in the equation of love, can real logic be found. I think the conclusion is not from his study but from his magical experience. Today, in the English class, my teacher presented us themovie A Beautiful Mind.
A Beautiful MindRussell Crowe stars as John Forbes Nash Jr., who we meet as he arrives to Princeton University in 1947, a poor young man whose remarkable skills in mathematics won him a scholarship. He doesn't really fit in with the other students though, and he has no interest in actually going to classes. He just wants to find a truly original theory, to think of something that will matter. Something that will make him matter. He does calculate some brilliant stuff, which opens up opportunities for him, all the way to a code breaking gig at the Pentagon, but something is tearing him loose : schizophrenia. Combined with Cold War-era conspiracy theories paranoia, this might make him go totally insane. All he's got left is his caring wife Alicia (Jennifer Connelly), and even she is tempted to give up on him. It's taken me a while to process my feelings on Ron Howard's latest film, as they're kind of confused. In short, I thought the first act was mediocre, then the film did something I perceived as a cheat, but finally it redeemed itself in its powerful last hour. So how am I supposed to review the whole film, as I found its first half to be generic and maudlin, but by the end I was moved to tears? Well, let's start at the beginning, or the "Good Will Hunting" part. These early scenes aren't that bad, they're just bland and harmless. Nash is somehow interesting already, with subtle hints of personality troubles, but he's surrounded by walking clichés, like the snobbish daddy's boy (Josh Lucas), the wisecracking buddies, the kind old teacher, or a newer obligatory staple (see also : "Notting Hill", "Undeclared"), the quirky British roommate (Paul Bettany). Plus, it's all so timid, a little joke here, a little touching moment there. Yawn.Another thing that bothered me was the seemingly random, unnatural pacing. It's the first day of the semester, then wham!, it's six months down the line, boom!, Nash's made his discovery, watch out! It's now five years later and he's called in to break some Soviet code. It gets even more frustrating when Nash starts teaching and Alicia, who's his student, catches his eye. It literally goes from 'what's your name' to 'I find you attractive' to 'will you marry me?' to 'you're pregnant?!' Meanwhile, Nash, is recruited by a Secretary of Defence agent (Ed Harris) who wants him to peruse periodicals to look for secret Communist codes. Come again? That's not all, there's tense dropouts, mysterious men in black, chases, shoot-outs. It makes little sense, and it's hardly all that interesting. I was ready to pan the film.Oh, but wait a second there, that's only the first hour or so of the film, before what I called the big cheat. Don't worry, I'm not gonna spoil it. Let's just say that the film reveals that it isn't really concerned with code cracking or Nash' love life; "A Beautiful Mind" is ultimately about one man's struggle to retain his sanity, to sort out his mind at once capable of genius and madness. Once the narrative settles on this, the film becomes more and more engrossing. It remains conventional in form as Ron Howard, hardly a daring filmmaker, can't help but go for melodrama and little bittersweet comic beats, or something as predictable and schmaltzy as the "pen scene". But the screenplay by Akiva Goldsman, adapting the Sylvia Nasar novel, presents us with a very interesting, complex character who hits bottom, degrading into the kind of fidgety old weirdo kids mock on thestreet. This makes his eventual getting back on his feet oh so touching, and I don't think there was a dry eye in the room during the final scene. It takes many people to make a film, and it's usually unfair to single out an individual as being most responsible for its success, but in this particular case, I feel it's obvious that this is Russell Crowe's movie. Writer Goldsman did, after all, commit "Batman & Robin", and as mentioned, Howard has a tendency to lay things too thick, overdoing each moment as if he's trying to show off to the Academy (but oooooooh, that's not his intent, natch). Fortunately, he's at least made one brilliant decision in casting Russell Crowe, who brings depth, pathos and humanity to his character. We see him age nearly fifty years in the film, and I was never thinking 'make-up', Crowe just seemed older in the way he held himself, spoke and appeared altogether. Likewise, with his schizophrenic behaviour, Crowe is not one to chew scenery and go over the top. This is a performance full of nuances and rough corners. His relationship with Paul Bettany and Ed Harris' characters lingers hauntingly in our minds, and even though it's underwritten, his screwed up romance with Jennifer Connelly is affecting. She herself is pretty good (and gorgeous), despite a false-sounding shrieking breakdown scene.Overall, I'd pretty much recommend "A Beautiful Mind". There are quite a bit of things to dislike in what can be summed up as a tearjerker posing as a psychological thriller, but ultimately it did surprise me by making me cry, and Crowe's performance alone is worth the admission price. If he hadn't won the Best Actor Oscar last year, I'd say he's sure to get it now, and the movie itself will probably get noticed here and there as a reaction. Check it out.。

Watching the movie "A Beautiful Mind" was truly a mesmerizing experience. Directed by Ron Howard and based on the life of brilliant mathematician John Nash, the film explores the complexities of the human mind, the power of love, and the indomitable spirit that defies all odds. This thought-provoking story left me with a myriad of emotions and opened my eyes to the beauty of the human condition. From the very beginning of the film, I was captivated by the stunning portrayal of John Nash by Russell Crowe. The movie takes the viewers on a rollercoaster ride, showcasing the genius mind of Nash and his groundbreaking theories, entangled with his struggles with mental illness. Crowe's dedicated performance truly brought John Nash to life on the big screen, making us feel his joys, his pain, and his journey towards redemption. One of the most impactful aspects of the film is its exploration of mental illness. Nash's battle with schizophrenia is depicted with great sensitivity and realism. It draws attention to the stigmatization and misunderstanding surrounding mental health issues. The movie successfully challenges our preconceived notions and humanizes those who suffer from mental illnesses. It reminds us that behind every illness, there is a person with hopes, dreams, and the right to be treated with compassion and understanding. As the film progresses, the love story between John Nash and his wife Alicia blossoms and becomes an integral part of the narrative. Jennifer Connelly's portrayal of Alicia is both tender and fierce, depicting a woman who stands by her husband's side through thick and thin. Their relationship beautifully illustrates the power of love in overcoming adversity. Despite the challenges posed by Nash's illness, Alicia's unwavering support and belief in him become a guiding light that leads him towards recovery. The movie also delves into the notion of brilliance and the sacrifices it demands. Nash's journey towards recognition and success in the academic world is not without its consequences. The film raises important questions about the cost of ambition and the tollit can take on one's personal life. As Nash becomes intertwined with his work, his relationships suffer, leaving him with a deeper understanding of the importance of human connection and the need for balance in life.Furthermore, the cinematography and soundtrack of "A Beautiful Mind" contribute to the overall emotional impact of the film. The visuals are striking, juxtaposing the beauty of Nash's intellectual achievements with the chaos of his unraveling mind. The score evokes a range of emotions, from the intensity of Nash's mathematical breakthroughs to the melancholy of his struggles. These elements seamlessly blend together, immersing the viewers in Nash's world and enhancing the storytelling. In conclusion, "A Beautiful Mind" is a remarkable film that takes us on a journey through the complexities of the human mind and the triumph of love. It sheds light on the realities of mental illness, challenging societal perceptions and promoting empathy. The performances, the storytelling, and the cinematography all come together to create a deeply profound viewing experience. It reminds us of the strength of the human spirit and the beauty that can be found in the most unexpected places. Watching this film leaves one with a renewed appreciation for life's complexities and the power of the human mind to overcome adversity.。

A beautiful mind
A beautiful mind --a movie tells us a story about a mathematician, Nash who is involved in schizophrenia during his study but under his wife's help he gets rid of this disease and makes a great achievement in mathematics. And finally he becomes one of the Nobel Prize winners.
Just in terms of this movie's plot, it is easy for us to understand and we can know more about the things happened to him. He is diligent and patient to his study. Not until his wife Alicia forces him to go to bed will he stop his study and work. It is his diligence and patience that have touched me when I saw this movie this week. Shouldn't I learn from Nash?
I can also learn something else from him. The movie's latter portion shows us that Nash is struggling against the roommate Charles, the little girl and the so called Defense Minister who are all imaginary people. But it also reflects his insistence and will. I want to say everything that once you are determined to do, as long as you persist to do and then you will be successful.
Last but not least, the most important thing I want to share is the love between the couple. It does touch me. When the husband is out of his mind, the wife never fails him, and tries her best to help him
come into the normal life.
