一、教学目标
学习ear, mouth, teeth, toe, leg, hair等身体部位名称能达到听、说、读的要求,部分学生甚至能达到写的要求。

理解、拼读、识记身体部位名称单词及部分字母组合发音,如th, oo, ee。
(二)教学难点

(二)过程与方法1.以小组合作与情景教学为主,运用游戏帮助学生理解与运用所学知识。
2.指导学生通过听音获取正确的信息,掌握一定的听音技巧。
(三)情感、态度与价值观帮助学生了解如何用英文描述人物外貌特征。
【教学重点】1.使学生能在图片的提示下听懂、读懂小故事Mike’s prize, 并能进行简单的角色表演。
2.使学生能运用What’s this? My new skateboard. 句型进行简单的交际。
使学生对照图片能对人物的外貌进行描述。
【教学准备】上面有单词或画有单词图片的卡片、轻松歌曲、教材相配套的录音带。
【教学过程】Step 1 Warming up播放一段关于prize的轻松儿歌,使学生对本课时将学内容产生兴趣。
Step 2 Revision将学生分组,进行What is it like? It has got...句型的练习,复习上一课时所学的重点内容。
Step 3 Look and read.1. 请学生翻到第46页,看图(Mr. Black)并阅读三个句子,判断哪一句是对Mr. Black 形象的描述。
2. 学生独立完成练习后,老师请2-3名学生完整地描述Mr. Black 的形象。
Step 4 Pairwork1. 老师请一名学生示范对话,老师问:What is Mr. Black like? 学生回答:He has got...2. 同桌进行问答练习,老师巡视指导。
3. 请2-3 对同桌做展示。
Step 5 Listen and point.1. 学生看第47页上的图片。
老师播放故事录音,学生初步了解故事大意。
2. Here’s your prize.这一句子可在前面教学环节的评价过程中进行渗透,当学生回答问题正确或表现好的时候,发放小贴画作为奖励,并使用语言Here’s your prize.3. 再次播放录音,学生逐句跟读,尽可能模仿录音中得语音、语调。
4. 老师让学生朗读故事,并与接受能力强的学生共同示范表演故事。
5. 学生们表演故事。
老师鼓励学生在表演故事时展现自己的个性。
学生表演后,老师进行评价。
Step 6 Summary老师让学生看黑板上的板书,与学生一起回顾本课所学的重要单词。

2.难点:区别 balloon和blue的发音。
学准备单词卡、动物图片或玩偶、红黄蓝三色尺子、红黄蓝三色彩笔、红黄蓝三色气球、磁带、录音机等(有条件的学校可利用幻灯片、多媒体课件)。

Step 2 新课呈现(Presentation)1.New words and sentences pattern.(1)T(出示红色尺子):Look, this is a ruler,It's red.(将单词red贴于黑板上,边带读边将单词涂成红色,引导学生说出单词意思) What colour is this ruler?S:It's red.(2)T:Colour,colour,what colour?What colour is this ruler?T(出示黄色尺子): Yellow, yellow.This ruler is yellow.T(将词卡yellow贴于黑板上,边带读边将单词涂成黄色,引导学生说出单词意思): What colour is this ruler?S:It's yellow.(3)用同样方法教学单词blue。
(4)出示气球,教说单词balloon。
如听到学生读成blue,可根据音节采用拍手读的方式帮助学生正音,如:balloon有两个音节,第二个音节重读,可拍两掌,第一拍轻,第二拍重;blue只一个音节,拍一掌即可。
(5)T(板书课题,引导学生提问): Balloon, balloon. What colour is this balloon?T(手拿蓝色气球回答):Blue,blue. This balloon is blue.(6)T(随意问不同学生): What colour is this balloon, Yang Ming?2.The dialogue.课文学习:教师可分步骤循序渐进地引导学生熟悉课文。
第一步: Listen and count。
不打开书,只听音,听音前,给出任务:你听到了几种颜色单词,分别是哪几种?第二步: Listen and find。
打开书,听音,标出所有颜色单词,检查刚才自己听到的是否正确。
第三步: Listen and number。
课件中出示几张不同颜色的气球图片,每张图片下方有个括号让学生排序。
课件中的图片可多提供两张,让学生选择与排除。
第四步: Listen and repeat。
听音,跟读,注意blue和 balloon的发音,引导学生正确模仿,提醒学生注意模仿语调。
Step 3 趣味练习(Practice)1.2~4人为一组,互相询问各自不同文具的颜色。
2.分层任务巩固所学内容,由学生根据自身水平和兴趣自由选择任务完成。
例:S1:Look, this is my schoolbag.My schoolbag is red. It's beautiful! I like it.S2:Look, this is my pencilbox. It's blue.Open the pencilbox.This is my ruler. It's yellow.Step 4 角色表演(Act and Play)1.教师用图片或实物玩偶在黑板或讲台上布置一个模拟的宠物店,同时用英语对该宠物店的宠物作简要介绍。
T:Look,this is my new pet shop.Welcome to my shop. Look, this is my dog,It's white.It's beautiful!This is my cat.It's yellow.I like it very much.2.教师邀请2~3位学生上台,谈论已布置好的模拟宠物店。
3.学生5~6人为一组,用自己的玩偶设计一个宠物店的情景,自编对话。
4.学生分组上台进行角色表演,谈论自己模拟的宠物店内的宠物。

2.听磁带、读对话,并试着表演对话。
3.动手做学具,供下节课使用。
(1)利用纸盘自制一个颜色单词大转盘。
(2)利用布料制作颜色沙包。
书设计Unit 3 What colour is this balloon?(A B)—What colour is this balloon?—It's red.—What colour is this balloon?—It's yellow. —What colour is this balloon?—It's blue.第二课时课时内容Go up the ladders. Go down the snakes.课时分析Go up the ladders. Go down the snakes是一个综合性的语言游戏活动。
蛇形的游戏主图里有二十二个图案,包含了字母及其发音、数字、食物、动物、文具等等等涵盖前六个单元的重点词汇及句式。
游戏中,学生通过掷骰子决定自己走的步数,停下来后,必须根据所停格子里的图案进行看图说话,来复习相关的知识。
在行进过程中,如果遇到梯子,则直接上升到梯子上面的一层,遇到蛇,则需要下降到蛇尾所在的格子里。
这个游戏有机会、有惩罚,有各种不确定性,因此能够极大地激发学生参与的热情。
在玩游戏之前,应该先充分复习相关知识,为学生顺利进行游戏做好准备。
并且要在游戏前做好示范活动,让学生明白如何进行看图说话,从而使游戏有明确的目的性,让学生真正能够在玩中学,在玩中练,在玩中复习并掌握学习过的知识。
