IV.Teaching Procedures:

The First Period

I. Warming:

1.Say hello

2.Listen and do

II. Leading:

Eliciting the children to say “hello/hi”.注意”hello”的发音。

III.Practise:

1.The teacher and students say “H ello” to each other.

T:Hello,children.

Ss: Hello, Mrs Zhou.

2.The children say “hello” to each other.

3.Sing the song: Hello! How are you?

The Second Period

I.Warming:

T:Good morning.

Ss: Good morning.

II. Presentation:

1.The teacher show the stationary, explain the words” book, ruler, pencil, schoolbag”, encourage the children to say.

2.Listen and chant:

Play the cassette, the children listen and clap, then chant:

Hello, pencil! Hello, ruler! Hello, schoolbag! Hello!

Hello, book! Hello, teacher! Hello! Hello! Hello!

III. Practise:

1.Listen and do:

The teacher says” Show me your book”, the children listen and show their books. The class do together.

2.Do this activity in 4 groups.

The Third Period

I.Warming:

Sing the song: Hello! How are you!

II. Presentation:

The teacher show the stationary and elicit the children to say “I have a book”(注意have的发音)。

III. Practise:

1.The teacher show the stationary, the children say the words.

2.Chant:

Book, book, I have a book. Pencil, pencil, I have a pencil.

Ruler , ruler, I have a ruler. Schoolbag, schoolbag, I have a schoolbag.

The Forth Period

I.Warming:

Say” Good morning.”

II.Presentation:

1.Play the CD-ROM, elicit the children to look at the picture.

2.Play the whole story, the children listen.

3.Explain the story picture by picture.

IV. Practise:

1.Listen to the story and repeat.

2.Repeat the story in roles.
