Development and Environment

With the development of industry, people are faced with the problem of a worsening environment. Fish are disappearing in many rivers and lots of green land is changing into desert.

What are the causes of this? Firstly, too much development of natural resources has greatly damaged the balance of nature. Many people only focus on the economic profits, without considering any means of environmental protection. Secondly, the government hasn’t taken any effective mea sures for the further development of the economy. Some departments only pay attention to their own benefit.

I think economic development and environmental protection are equally important. While industry keeps developing, more money should be spent on improving the environment.

Computer and Education.

Today, computers have been used in almost every aspect of our lives. For instance, computers are used in public transportation systems, media, education and so on. Thanks to the computers, our working efficiency has been improved largely.

Also, university students can also make use of comupters to do a lot of things. Students can play computer games in their spare time, so that they can have a good rest. What is more important is that students can use computers to study. Online education has been more and more popular today. With the help of computers, student can have lessons online. As computers are so useful and popular, it is necessary for university students to learn how to use computers well.

Negative Effects of Television

Nowadays,television plays a signification part in our life .It is universally acknowledged that watching TV has become an important entertainment from which we can get some useful information .On the contrary ,there are also many negative effects of watching television .

First of all ,we must control ourselves to watch television ,as more time you watch it ,the worse eyesight you will have ,besides ,if television takes up too much time of you ,there is no doubt that you own less time to do some exercise and to compete your homework .Finally ,television may produce great negative effects to people ,especially children .Maybe people believe that television can be harmful unless parents take on active role ,indeed ,children don’t have enoug h experience to judge which is beneficial to themselves ,they may behave some bad actions they learned from television ,which needs parents pay more attention to .

As far as i am concerned ,there is no denying that we can get useful information from televi sion ,each coin has two sides ,there are negative effects too .so ,we′d better have a correct attitude toward watch TV .
