The Great Wall winds through the mountains like a long dragon. For thousands of years, this ancient building, weathered by wind and snow, remains strong and strong. Step at the beginning of the Great Wall, is both exciting and feeling in the heart, excited because I will set foot on the Great Wall is famous, and I sigh with emotion that the Great Wall is by how much sweat, tears, or even for life, this is what a great price. But it is the pride of China and the pride of every Chinese. In this mood, I walked on, making me feel more sacred. It is said that it is not the destination that matters, but the scenery along the way. Indeed, there is such a beautiful landscape around us, and who CARES what the next stop is. Here, I don't think every second is a waste. I prefer time to freeze, let me hold my breath and appreciate the grass and trees here. It seems that beauty can't describe it. Perfection is the best interpretation of it.Gradually, sunset west, sunset, today's journey will also end. Life is like this, after reaching a destination, there is another pursuit. The sun rises and falls, day after day, year after year, life can stop, but the pursuit cannot be stopped, and the fire of hope cannot be extinguished. We came to the foot of the Great Wall and found that the road to the Great Wall was steep, like climbing a mountain. When we reached the entrance to the Great Wall, I realized that the Great Wall was so real that it looked like a black dragon sitting there. Oh, how many people come to climb the Great Wall! I went to the first beacon with my parents. Along the way, we walked and photographed. The Great Wall is crowded with people. Every time we went to a beacon, we had to walk hand in hand to avoid losing it. When we reached the fourth beacon, the wind suddenly rose on the wall, and people's hair was floating, and some of them were blown away. So we carefully climbed up the four remaining beacon towers. When I stood at the top of the Great Wall, I looked at the green under the Great Wall and felt very relaxed, leaving all the fatigue of climbing the Great Wall behind me.Looked at the beautiful scenery, it suddenly occurred to me that the people in the qin dynasty to build the Great Wall, is that they are the Great Wall of casting with wisdom and hands, so the Great Wall standing on this land for thousands of years.Looking at the majestic scenery, I suddenly remembered the soldiers of the ancient guard country. I think of the Anti-Japanese War, and the Chinese military people who rely on their resilience, they defend the country of China, they are dead, and they do not want to be slaves of the Japanese. I am reminded of the soldiers standing on the border of the state, who guard the border day and night, and do not let other countries invade China.Looking at the magnificent view, I figured it out and finally figured it out. Strong, can conquer all, but cowardly, can accept defeat only. The Great Wall is where I long to go. This summer, I got a good look at the ancient Great Wall of the Chinese nation.Badaling stands on the western outskirts of Beijing, looking up and down and up and down. The Great Wall hovered over the hill like a soaring dragon. Standing on the Great Wall, the cars in the parking lot are like beetles and pedestrians like ants. Looking up, blue sky and white clouds, the beacon stands proudly upright. The Great Wall looks easy, it's hard to get up and out of breath, and it's hard to get to the good han slope. Everyone is so tired. Mother said: "the Great Wall is not a good man until the Great Wall is not complacent." After listening to my mother's encouragement, I insisted on climbing up to the tower of badaling. My father told me: this is the ancient qin dynasty. In order to defend against the invasion of xiongnu, the working people carried by shoulder, brick and stone. The Great Wall gradually became more and more. Our mood is very exciting, from different angles, we take different sites and take more than 10 shots.Standing on the Great Wall, I daydream: more than two thousand years ago, in such a bad condition, the working people can burn out the quality good quantity much brick, the wall of build by laying bricks or stones becomes solid, is really amazing! We should carry forward the spirit of working hard and hard work of the Chinese nation, and build up a thriving and prosperous country. The Great Wall is listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. We should protect the Great Wall and promote the Chinese nation's historical culture. It's been a long time in Beijing, but it's been in my heart.I woke up very early that day and waited for my parents to get up, because we made an appointment to go to the badaling Great Wall today.。

跟父母一起去长城游览的英语作文

跟父母一起去长城游览的英语作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Awesome Trip to the Great Wall with Mom and Dad!Last summer, my parents took me on the coolest trip ever - we went to see the Great Wall of China! I had learned all about the Great Wall in school, but seeing it with my own eyes was just amazing. We left really early in the morning to beat the crowds and traffic. The drive from Beijing took over an hour. I slept most of the way in the car. When I woke up, we were getting close and I could see part of the Great Wall snaking across the mountains! My heart started racing with excitement. We went to a section called Badaling, which is one of the most preserved and popular stretches. There were already tons of people there, even though it was still pretty early. The entrance looked like a huge castle gate! So cool. After buying our tickets, we started the climb up the steep steps to get on top of the wall itself. Mom and Dad were alreadygetting tired and we had only gone up a few flights! I wasn't even winded at all. "Hurry up, slowpokes!" I teased them. Finally, we made it up to the walkway on the Great Wall. The views were breathtaking! The enormous stone wall zigzagged endlessly across the rugged hills and peaks. I couldn't believe something this massive was built so long ago, without modern construction equipment. The Chinese people who built it must have been incredible engineers. We started strolling along the wall, stopping frequently so Mom and Dad could catch their breath. I loved looking over the edge at the trees and valleys far below. The weather was perfect - sunny but not too hot. A nice breeze was blowing to keep us cool. After walking a while, we stopped at one of the little tower structures for a snack and some pictures. Dad pointed wayyyy off in the distance and told me that's how far the Great Wall extended, for thousands of miles! No wonder it's called one of the Wonders of the World.By lunchtime we had worked up quite an appetite from all the walking and climbing. We found a shaded spot off the walkway and broke out the snacks and sandwiches Mom hadpacked. The homemade lemonade she brought really hit the spot.As we were eating, I noticed a cute little cat lingering nearby, probably hoping we'd share our food. I saved the last few bites of my sandwich and fed them to the kitty under the table when Mom and Dad weren't looking. The cat gobbled them up happily. After lunch, we explored more of the watchtowers and took a million pictures around every turn. The different views and angles made the perfect backdrops. I made Mom and Dad take selfies with me until we all looked goofy and cross-eyed.Eventually, Dad said we should start heading back so we could beat the crowds again. I really didn't want to leave! The Great Wall was even more awesome than I had imagined. But I was getting pretty tuckered out too after so much walking and climbing. The trip back down the steep entryway steps was brutal. My legs felt like jelly. Good thing Dad was there to give me a piggyback ride for part of the way. I could see Mom and Dad were relieved when we finally made it back to the parking area.In the car, I knocked out for the whole drive home. When we got back to our apartment, I was one exhausted kid! But I had a huge smile on my face thinking about our amazing adventure at the Great Wall. Mom said we could frame one of the family pictures to remember the fun day.I'm so lucky my parents took me on that unforgettable trip to one of the true Wonders of the World. Seeing the Great Wall of China with my own eyes was epic! I hope we can go back again someday. Maybe next time we can even camp out on it overnight. Now that would be really cool!篇2My Amazing Trip to the Great Wall of China!Wow, I'm so excited to tell you about the super cool trip I took with my mom and dad to the Great Wall of China! It was the neatest experience ever.We started our journey early one morning by taking a big tour bus from Beijing city. The bus ride took a while, but I didn't mind because I got to look out the window at all the crazy different scenery going by. First there were lots of tall buildings and cars zooming around like ants. But then the buildings went away and there were just farms with fruit trees and veggiegardens everywhere! I even saw a couple farmers harvesting their crops. After leaving the city, the road started going up and down these big rocky mountains. The views were breathtaking! Huge cliffs and peaks covered in green trees as far as the eye could see. My dad told me those are called the Badaling Mountains and that's where the Great Wall is built along the ridge tops. Just picturing workers building this massive wall on those steep, craggy peaks way back in ancient times was totallymind-boggling.Finally, after driving for what felt like ages, our bus arrived at the entrance to the Badaling section of the Great Wall. I'll never forget the first moment I stepped out and got a glimpse of the real Great Wall of China — I let out an audible "Woahhhh!" It was even more massive and incredible than I had imagined from the pictures in my textbooks. The granite stone walkway was super wide, probably so armies of soldiers and horsemen could march along the top. And the watch towers jutted up from the wall every few hundred meters, allowing guards to keep a lookout in all directions. My mom said they used to light signal fires in the towers to sendmessages from one end of the wall to the other crazy fast. So cool!Once we got our entry tickets, we began hiking up the steep ramps and stairways cut into the cliffside to reach the top of the wall itself. I'm not gonna lie, it was a tough climb in the hot summer sun, and my little legs were getting pretty tired. But there was no way I was giving up before making it to the top!And boy was it worth it when we finally emerged onto the watchtower-lined wall snaking across the mountaintops. The views were just breathtaking up there. We could gaze out over the green valley floors below and see the Great Wall's limestone-gray ramparts rising and falling along the jagged peaks for miles and miles into the hazy distance. It literally looked like an enormous stone dragon slithering through the mountains. No wonder it's one of the man-made wonders of the world! We spent a couple hours hiking along that ancient frontier wall, stopping frequently to rest, take pictures, and just soak in the unbelievable scenery. At one point, we even got to go up into one of the watchtower fortresses and imagine what it must've been like for a lonely guard living there hundreds of years ago, keeping constant vigil. My dad said the Great Wallprotected China from invaders and nomadic tribes for over 2,000 years — which is just bonkers to think about! After our amazing hike along the wall, we took a short detour to visit this really neat place called the Sacred Way — a long path lined with carved stone animal statues that led to the tombs of ancient Chinese emperors. Some of the big mythical creature carvings looked pretty freaky, not gonna lie! But it was still very fascinating to learn about. On the bus ride back into Beijing, I was completely tuckered out from all the hiking and exploring in the hot summer sun. But I had a huge smile plastered on my face just thinking about what an epic adventure I'd gotten to experience with my parents. Not many kids can say they've walked along the Great Wall of China and seen such incredible historic sights with their own eyes!It still blows my mind that something as colossal and ancient as the Great Wall was built completely by human hands, without any modern construction machines. The blood, sweat and tears of over a million workers went into its construction over many centuries. No wonder it's considered one of the most impressive architectural feats in human history.I feel so lucky and grateful that my parents took the time and spent the money to take me on such an educational,once-in-a-lifetime field trip. It was truly the best family vacation ever and an experience I'll never, ever forget. If you ever get a chance to visit the Great Wall of China, you absolutely have to go! Just be ready for an adventure of massive proportions — pun intended!篇3My Trip to the Great Wall with Mom and DadWow, I'm so excited to tell you about the super cool trip I took with my parents to the Great Wall of China! Let me tell you all about it!It all started a few weeks ago when Dad said we were going to take a family vacation somewhere really篇4A Fun Day at the Great Wall with Mom and Dad!Wow, I'm still so excited about the amazing trip I took to the Great Wall of China last weekend with my mom and dad! It was the coolest place I've ever been. I had seen pictures of the Great Wall in books and videos, but seeing it in real life was justmind-blowing. It's one of the true wonders of the world! We left early on Saturday morning to make the drive from Beijing out to a section of the Great Wall called Mutianyu. Dad said this part isn't as busy and crowded as some other stretches, so we'd be able to explore it at our own pace. I was bouncing up and down in the backseat of the car the whole way there, I was so pumped! When we finally arrived, I gasped out loud - there it was, the actual Great Wall! It just seemed to go on forever, snaking over the huge green mountains. Mom said the total length is over 13,000 miles, which is just crazy to think about. No wonder it's considered one of the most impressive construction projects ever by humans. We bought our entry tickets and started hiking up the stone steps towards the wall itself. I was getting a little tired from all the climbing, but I didn't even care - I was about to walk on the Great Wall! Once we reached the top, the views were breathtaking in every direction. I felt like I was a ancient emperor surveying my kingdom from this mighty defensive fortification. We started walking along the wall, and even though I had seen pictures, I was not prepared for how steep and narrow it was in some spots. The bricks were very old and kind of uneven, so we all had to watch our step. But dad let me lead the way andexplore at my own pace. I loved ducking through the watchtower doors and peeking out the arrowslits where soldiers would have defended the wall centuries ago. After an hour or so, we stopped for a snack and I had a popsicle while sitting on one of the higher watchtowers. I couldn't believe I was snacking on a 700-year-old military fortification! Mom and dad told me all about the amazing history and construction of the Wall over the centuries as we munched on our treats.Eventually we had to start making our way back towards the entry point. On the way, we walked through the markets just outside the Wall area. There were tons of street food vendors and little shops selling cool jade sculptures, paintings, t-shirts and other souvenirs. Dad bought me a little soldier statue made of metal to remember the trip. I'm going to keep it on my dresser! We were all super tired and sore from all the walking and climbing once we finally made it back to the car. But it was totally worth it for such an unforgettable experience! Visiting the Great Wall was one of the highlights of my life so far. I'll always have amazing memories of that special day I spent with mom and dad at one of the genuine wonders of the world. Maybe I'll be able totake my own kids there to see it someday! I'm so grateful my parents took me on such an awesome journey.篇5A Fun Trip to the Great Wall with My ParentsWow, I had such an amazing time when my parents took me to visit the Great Wall a few weeks ago! It was the spring break holiday, so we didn't have school. My parents decided to take me on a trip to see one of the most famous places in all of China - the Great Wall!We live in Beijing, so it's not too far to get to the Great Wall. On the morning we went, I woke up super early because I was so excited. I could hardly eat any breakfast I was so eager to get going! Finally, my dad said it was time to leave and we hopped in the car.The drive took about an hour and a half. The whole way, I stared out the window looking for the Great Wall. I had seen pictures before, but I couldn't wait to see it in real life! Would it be as huge and long as everyone says? I could hardly sit still I was so anxious. Finally, we started driving up a mountain road and my mom said "Look out the window, you can see part of the Great Wall now!" I pressed my face against the glass and there it was - this gigantic stone wall snaking across the mountain tops. It looked just like in the pictures except even more massive! I couldn't believe how big it was. My dad said we would be able to walk right on top of it.We parked the car and started hiking up a trail towards an entrance to the wall. It was a beautiful sunny day, perfect for exploring. As we got closer, I could see archers' towers and watchtowers along the wall. It looked like an ancient fortress! At last, we reached the entrance and climbed up some stairs to the top of the wall itself. The views from up there were incredible - you could see the wall winding endlessly in each direction across the mountains. I ran along the wall, checking out all the watchtowers and ramparts. Some parts were steeper than others and had lots of steps. My dad told me that the Great Wall is over 20,000 kilometers (13,000 miles) long! He said it took hundreds of years and millions of workers to build. We walked along it for a couple hours, stopping to take pictures and catch our breath at thesteep parts. No matter how far we went, you could always see more of the wall snaking ahead. For lunch, we stopped at a cute little restaurant in a town along the Great Wall. They served really yummy noodles and dumplings. My favorite was the noodles with beef and green beans. After eating, we walked around the old town a bit before heading back to the Great Wall.On the way back, we took a different route along the wall so we could see new parts. This section was extra steep and had lots of tall watchtowers. My legs were getting a bit tired from all the climbing, but I didn't want to complain because I was having too much fun.Towards the end of the day, we came to a really tall watchtower. My dad said we could climb up to the very top if we wanted. Of course I wanted to! The view from the top was absolutely amazing. You could see the Great Wall winding in all directions across the mountains and valleys. I felt like I was on top of the world! After that, we wandered back down the Great Wall towards the car. I was feeling tired but so happy after such an awesome day. On the drive back to Beijing, I fell asleep in the car.Visiting the Great Wall was one of the coolest experiencesI've ever had. It was mind-blowing to actually walk along this massive ancient wall that's so iconic and famous across the world.I had so much fun hiking, exploring the watchtowers, and taking in the incredible views with my parents. We took a ton of great photos and made awesome memories together on our Great Wall adventure. I'll never forget that special trip!篇6A Fun Trip to the Great Wall with Mom and DadWow, I had such an amazing time when my parents took me to the Great Wall of China last weekend! It was the coolest place I've ever been. I'm going to tell you all about our exciting trip.On Saturday morning, Dad woke me and my little sister Amy up really early. "Rise and shine, kiddos! We're going on an adventure today!" he said in a silly voice to get us laughing. Mom had made us a yummy breakfast of congee (rice porridge) with leanpork and eggs. We needed lots of energy for our big day! After we finished eating, we piled into the car and headed out of the city. Beijing has so many tall buildings and busy roads, but soon we were driving through the countryside with green hills and fields all around. "Doesn't the fresh air smell nice?"Mom asked, rolling down the windows. It was such a beautiful sunny day.An hour later, we finally arrived at the Great Wall visitor's center. I could see part of the huge ancient wall snaking across the mountain ridges in the distance. "Whooaaa!" Amy and I said together, our eyes getting really big. The Great Wall is even more massive than it looks in pictures and on TV!First, we watched a movie about the Great Wall's amazing history at the little museum. Did you know it was built over 2,000 years ago to protect China from invaders? And it's so long that it can even be seen from space! After the movie, we took a shuttle bus partway up the mountain. I was getting pretty antsy to climb on the real Great Wall. Finally, after a short uphill hike, we came to a part of the wall with stocky gray stonework and tall watch towers poking up. "This is so cool!" I shouted, running ahead to be the first to step onto it. The uneven stone pathway felt almost like walking on a little roller coaster under my sneakers. Amy was a bit scared of the height at first, but Dad scooped her up and she smiled again. We slowly made our way up and down the winding staircases and ramparts, stopping frequently to check out the views. From up there, we could gaze across the green valleys andrugged hills for miles and miles. At the highest watchtower, I felt like I was at the top of the world! The breeze was blowing and I could imagine soldiers standing guard and looking for enemy invaders over 2,000 years ago. After walking a few miles of the wall, we stopped for a picnic lunch Mom had packed for us - yummy sandwiches, fruit, and snacks. Eating our food surrounded by such an ancient wonder made me feel like an adventurer exploring new lands! Dad showed me on the map how the Great Wall used to stretch an incredible 13,000 miles across Northern China in its entirety. That's about halfway around the whole planet! On our way back down, I found a nice smooth rock and pocketed it as a souvenir. We took one last look back at the endless gray fortifications rising and dipping over the peaks before heading to the bus. Despite being so old, the Great Wall of China still looks just as mighty and grand as it must have centuries ago when it protected the country. In the gift shop, I spent my souvenir money on a little army soldier figure and a traditional Chinese bell to remember our trip. Amy got a plush panda bear and one of those fancy masks. "I wish we could come back another day and camp on the wall!" Itold Mom and Dad. Maybe if I get really good grades, we can plan another adventure someday. On the drive home, I dozed off in the backseat, still clutching my rock and dreaming of the amazing views from the Great Wall. What an unforgettable journey we had gone on as a family! Visiting this world-famous landmark was like walking through the pages of my history book. I have so many fond memories from today that I'll cherish forever. Thanks for taking us, Mom and Dad! The Great Wall is definitely one of the coolest wonders of the ancient world.。
