新概念英语青少版2B-unit_16Unit 16 What’s your middle name ?1、复习there be (有,存在)句型1)表示“某时、某地”存在“某物”的时候用“there be”句型,而表示“拥有”时,用“have”,所以,一般情况下,“have”的主语应是“人”。

“there be”没有主语,独立完成形式上的“主语、谓语”部分,而其意义上的主语,一般是句子后面“介词短语”的“名词”部分。

例:There is a book in my bag.介词短语“in my bag”中的名词“bag”是“有、存在”这个东西的主体。

但并不表示“bag”拥有“book”2)There be 结构可按“there”为主语,“be”为系动词的结构,根据需要变化相应的形式。

例:There is a book in my bag.变成一般疑问句为:Is there a book in your bag? 【主系表结构的肯定陈述句变一般疑问句的规则:系动词提前,其它不变,末尾加问号】2、pick up some shopping = buy something“pick up some shopping”这里不能简单替换成“go shopping”,因为“go shopping”是一种“有计划、有意识、有目的”的行为“去购物”,而“pick up”潜在的意思是“顺便、不经意的”的意思。

3、call 与 talk 的比较使用“call”是“称呼、呼叫”的意思,所以一般与相应介词连用,可构成短语“打电话给”、“呼叫”、“要求”等;“talk”是“讲述、谈论、告诉”的意思,所以一般构成的短语如“讨论”、“讲述”等。

4、look 的相关短语积累look for 寻找 look after 照顾 look up 查找你平时还见过哪些呢?请总结下来吧!5、介词 at 、in、 on 的使用小结“at”一般指在什么地点;“in”表示在……里,“on”表示在……(表面)上;三者都可与“时间”连用,但在具体表示“在…….时”有不同,一般“时间点”用“at”,“日子”用“on”,“月、年”用“in”。

1、IF从句中的动词用一般现在时态,主句中的动词 用一般将来时态.主句和从句的位置可以互换: If he is out , I’ll call tomorrow. If he has time,he will come. You’ll miss the train if you don’t hurry. He’ll get there in time if he runs.
allow & let allow sb. to do sth. (较为正式) sb. is allowed to do sth. let sb. do sth. (通常不用于被动语态) 1. 我们不允许大家在教室里吸烟。
We don’t allow people to smoke in the classroom. 2. 我会让你用我的字典的。 I will let you use my dictionary.
b) IF从句中还可用情态动词(can, could):
He will come tomorrow if he can. If they can help you,they will.
