Culture shock
• Obviously , parents who live in middleeast countries hate the Barbie which dress sexy clothes .Because Barbie’s dressing go against the middle-east person’s traditional opinion. • In their opinion ,Barbie is not only the joy , but also represents the personal American culture . So the Barbie conflict with the traditional culture of middle-east countries .On the one hand ,their religion is different. On the other hand, Christianism and Muslem also has a long historical shock.
• As we all know ,Barbie do not decide to marry. Although it's very common in American, in middle-west ,this is not allowed. On the surface ,women and men there have a equal place, however women is still in a low place. They use veil to cover the face and the dress is very long. But Barbie is fashion and sexy, is different from the local dressing.
Crisis of Barbie in the Middle East Countries

• Being blonde, tall, slim, buxom, leggy and beautiful with her trendy, swinging, independently wealthy lifestyle, Barbie is admired by hundreds of thousands of girls in different countries. To appeal to customers with different cultural background in different countries, nowadays Mattel Company designs Barbie with cosmetic changes and variable subjects according to local tastes.

• The religion is the most important factor of the culture. It affects the cultural structure In the USA. The attention to people is related to the Christ. In the middle-east countries, the religion can guide a person’s behavior ቤተ መጻሕፍቲ ባይዱnd thought. The different religions due to the different results.

• The USA is an individual country, and people lead a rich life. It appears their attitude to life and the important cultural. However, the Middle-east countries are collectivistic countries. They love the fulla because fulla represent the honesty ,love and sympathy. Its image is a traditional middle-east woman. So it’s more popular in the middleeast countries.
• However, in the Middle-East countries, Barbie is seriously in trouble. In Iran the Iranian Ministry of Education marketed the twin dolls Sara and Dara as the national dolls. Unlike the Barbie Doll, Sara and her twin brother Dara are on a mission to help others, and when the need rises, they consult their parents for guidance. But Fulla is the most popular doll in the Middle East because she has a character that parents and children will want to relate to. The advertising is full of positive messages about Fulla's character. She’s honest, loving and caring, and she respects her father and mother. Fulla also has two respected careers for women, a doctor and a teacher, that small girls can be encouraged to follow in the Middle East. On the children’s satellite channels popular in the Arab world, Fulla advertising is incessant.

Fulla is a very successful joy .It can be adapted to middle-east countries’ culture. It wears the traditional clothing. So it is popular with located people .
• Compared with Fulla , Barbie don't adapt to the local culture, it still retains the western tradition, and people there are traditional and conservative,their religion do not allow them to accept the Barbie. That's why middle-east people don't like it.
