怎样培养农村中年级学生英语阅读习惯、激发其阅读兴趣,变得尤为重要。
本文以三年级绘本《黑布林》系列之The Beach 的教学为例,探讨在小学英语绘本阅读教学活动中带领学生们 “游”出趣味故事,且提升思维品质,在激发农村中年级学生的阅读兴趣的同时,培养起学生的认读能力,口语模仿能力以及语言的运用能力。
《黑布林英语阅读》系列(简称《黑布林》)之The Beach 主要讲述的是两个小女孩Anna 和Nina同家人去海滩旅游出发前不同的心情、到达目的地后游玩并结为朋友的心情。
对于农村三年级学生来说,大量的生词和新句子会让孩子们“望文退却”,根本就没法读下去。
执教老师对文本进行了梳理,既然是到海滩旅游,那老师设计了一个旅游话题,带着孩子们“游”出了趣味故事,并在故事中渗透了绘本表达的中心思想,帮助孩子们一起“读”出绘本的精髓。
一、课前设计活动:阅读之快乐出发旅游是孩子们非常感兴趣的话题,也是其非常乐于参与的活动。
“读万卷书,行万里路”,为了开阔孩子们的视野,家长们也利用假期带孩子们去旅游,因此The Beach 旅游话题的绘本类型对于中年级学生来说属于是有充分的吸引力的。
首先执教老师利用相关歌曲的欣赏揭示故事主题,再进行封面的观察导入,让学生从封面上猜测两个小女孩Anna和Nina之间的关系。
