I didn't realize how important it is to eat a balanced diet with lots of fruits, veggies, whole grains, and lean proteins. My favorite part was learning about food from different cultures around the world. I tried making some simple dishes from Mexico, India, and China with my mom. The vegetable curry was so tasty! I also learned some cool new vocabulary words like nutrients, fiber, and portion size.During Unit 2, we learned how to give directions and describe places in a town or city.
