大学毕业典礼演讲英文5篇大学毕业典礼演讲英文(篇1)Opportunities and ChallengesFirst, I would like to know, what does your destiny offer you? Happiness, wisdom, a strong body or something else. If I had asked this question to president Nixon, he would probably had said,”Our destiny offers not the cup of despair, but the chalice of opportunity.”Needless to say, one of the biggest opportunities given to China is the 20XX Olympic Games. Till now, we have used two sevenths of the preparation time. How much changes have you seen? New roads, new subway lines, public-exercising equipments with beautiful colors, large blocks of grass fields, and also lots of modern gyms which are under construction.Other than those, there are even more good effects brought to us by the Olympic Games that cannot be seen directly. For example, more and more people will get to know China. I’m sure the mysterious Chinese culture will attract them strongly. And the games will also do good to the economy and environment, for it is gaining the attention of foreign investors and the awareness of environmental protection is being strengthened. What is more, Olympic Games give a unique opportunity to inspire and educate a new generation of Chinese youth with the Olympic values and the Olympic spirit. Now that we have seen so many advances, could you even imagine us losing the holding rights?I’ve already said a lot about the Olympics and China. But I think everyone should use some time to think of this question, ”Does the Olympic Games have any special meaning to you?”For us, I mean the Chinese youth, 20XX Olympic Games is a tremendous gift. Because what we are waiting for is to do something significant as repaying the love given to us .The society is just like a ship, and in our dreams the captain is waving his hand and saying ”Hey! Come here and take the helm! ”How charming his voice is, but we have never heard of it in our true life. This morning, however, when we wake up, we will see the Olympic Games waving its hand. After chewing, most of us will have at least one plan about what to do for the Olympic Games. And mine is to be a “comforter” ----that is someone who will give comfort to others. At the end of my speech, I hope all the preparation will go well, and everyone will show their ability to the world. Let us seize opportunities and give a big smile to challenges.大学毕业典礼演讲英文(篇2)My dear Mr. and Misses, my fellows schoolmates.Good morning! As you know and see, it is a sunny bump harvest season. In the city, in our school campus, everywhere is surrounded with roses which we together planted 4 years ago. Today may these roses and our friendship as well be together and comfort our excited hearts! It was four years ago that everyone of us came from every part of China and formed a new collective. As we are young, it’s very easy for us tocommunicate. It was in the past four years that we were ambitious. It was in the past four years that we worried. It was in the past four years that we were content. It was in the past four years that we were vexed. It was in the past four years that we were friendly and lonely ... and it was in the past fours that we studied, lived and respected each other with genuine and with our ambitions. Nothing in the world is more significant than we miss all of these. We miss you─teachers who are tireless in teaching; we will keep your gestures and your white hairs in our hearts deeply; we will miss the quietness with the lights at night in the classroom; we will miss the race and exercise on the playground; we will miss even the crowds in the dining hall and the quarrel on the beds; we will still miss every green piece and every piece of waste paper flying like flakes in the air ... However, today we will leave nothing but the first rose with our Alma Mater and our teachers which is entrusted with our love and respect.4 years seems very long but 4 years seems very short. From now on, we all will go into the society. The society is broad and wide for us. We will shoulder heavy responsibilities; we will work diligently; and we will expect to be informed of good news from one another. Now, I beg you all to cherish the occasion; to remember the names, the status, appearance and the character of the person around you. Now let’s be hand in hand together; let’s present the rose to each other. May the rose carry our appreciation and blessing! We are very closely linked no matter what the world may be. May the fresh rose in our hands keep its fragrants!Thank you all again!大学毕业典礼演讲英文(篇3)president clinton:thank you. thank you, president chen, chairmen ren, vice president chi, vice minister wei. we are delighted to be here today with a very large american delegation, including the first lady and our daughter, who is a student at stanford, one of the schools with which beijing university has a relationship. we have six members of the united states congress; the secretary of state; secretary of commerce; the secretary of agriculture; the chairman of our council of economic advisors; senator sasser, our ambassador; the national security advisor and my chief of staff, among others. i say that to illustrate the importance that the united states places on our relationship with china.i would like to begin by congratulating all of you, the students, the faculty, the administrators, on celebrating the centennial year of your university. gongxi, beida. (applause.)as im sure all of you know, this campus was once home to yenching university which was founded by american missionaries. many of its wonderful buildings were designed by an american architect. thousands of americans students and professors have come here to study and teach. we feel a special kinship with you.i am, however, grateful that this day is different in one important respect from another important occasion 79 years ago. in june of 1919, the first president of yenching university, john leighton stuart, was set to deliver the very first commencement address on these very grounds. at the appointed hour, he appeared, but no students appeared. they were allout leading the may 4th movement for chinas political and cultural renewal. when i read this, i hoped that when i walked into the auditorium today, someone would be sitting here. and i thank you for being here, very much. (applause.)over the last 100 years, this university has grown to more than 20,000 students. your graduates are spread throughout china and around the world. you have built the largest university library in all of asia. last year, 20 percent of your graduates went abroad to study, including half of your math and science majors. and in this anniversary year, more than a million people in china, asia, and beyond have logged on to your web site. at the dawn of a new century, this university is leading china into the future.i come here today to talk to you, the next generation of chinas leaders, about the critical importance to your future of building a strong partnership between china and the united states.the american people deeply admire china for its thousands of years of contributions to culture and religion, to philosophy and the arts, to science and technology. we remember well our strong partnership in world war ii. now we see china at a moment in history when your glorious past is matched by your present sweeping transformation and the even greater promise of your future.just three decades ago, china was virtually shut off from the world. now, china is a member of more than 1,000 international organizations -- enterprises that affect everything from air travel to agricultural development. you have opened your nation to trade and investment on a large scale. today, 40,000 young chinese study in the united states, withhundreds of thousands more learning in asia, africa, europe, and latin america.your social and economic transformation has been even more remarkable, moving from a closed command economic system to a driving, increasingly market-based and driven economy, generating two decades of unprecedented growth, giving people greater freedom to travel within and outside china, to vote in village elections, to own a home, choose a job, attend a better school. as a result you have lifted literally hundreds of millions of people from poverty. per capita income has more than doubled in the last decade. most chinese people are leading lives they could not have imagined just 20 years ago.of course, these changes have also brought disruptions in settled patterns of life and work, and have imposed enormous strains on your environment. once every urban chinese was guaranteed employment in a state enterprise. now you must compete in a job market. once a chinese worker had only to meet the demands of a central planner in beijing. now the global economy means all must match the quality and creativity of the rest of the world. for those who lack the right training and skills and support, this new world can be daunting.大学毕业典礼演讲英文(篇4)Dear faculty members, distinguished guests, families, friends and most importantly, today’s graduates:Good morning!Thank you for giving me the opportunity to speak to you here on behalf of the graduates. This is a memorable day both in our personal lives and in the life of this school.Four years ago, we entered Sanjing university. Some of us may have doubted that if we had made the right decision, but now, because of the friends we made , because of the sadness and happiness we shared, because of the teachers who gave us guidance, because of all the time in Sanjiang we spent and all activities we participated in, we could not tear ourselves away from the dear campus. It’s difficult to contemplate that perhaps some of us may never see each other again. But we have so rich memeries and experiences that we will never foget each other.Today we enter the real world to face the challenge .With the knowledge and friends we gained from our university, with the endurance, perseverance, industry we possess, every obstacle that we may encounter in our lives will be overcome. I believe that everyone will make every effort to strive for our life. And remember, an ideal job is not found lying in the street; it takes time and effort to find. But in the end, it will be there for you. So don’t settle for second best and keep looking.Importantly, We are here today to give our thanks to the unconditional support of each of you, your words of encouragement in good times and your words of consolation in difficult moments. We thank you for your enormous patience with us, for always giving a little more than we asked for and for instilling in us the values and principles that govern our lives now and helping us to become the people we are. The degree that we will receive today also belongs to you.Last, I would like to congratulate each of you for having reached this goal. We did it, and now we are ready to graduate!大学毕业典礼演讲英文(篇5)You must believe in yourself and in your work. When our first Batman movie broke all those box-office records, I received a phone call from that United Artists exec who, years before, had told me I was out of my mind. Now he said, “Michael, Im just calling to congratulate you on the success of Batman. I always said you were a visionary.” You see the point here — dont believe them when they tell you how bad you are or how terrible your ideas are, but also, dont believe them when they tell you how wonderful you are and how great your ideas are. Just believe in yourself and youll do just fine. And, oh yes, dont then forget to market yourself and your ideas. Use both sides of your brain. You must have a high threshold for frustration. Take it from the guy who was turned down by every studio in Hollywood. You must knock on doors until your knuckles bleed. Doors will slam in your face. You must pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and knock again. Its the only way to achieve your goals in life.。

毕业典礼演讲稿英语作文大全6篇毕业典礼演讲稿英语作文(精选篇1)Dear leaders, teachers, parents, dear studentshello everyone!Today is an unforgettable and celebratory day. After five years of hard work, the students here have successfully completed their primary school study. They are about to bid farewell to their golden childhood and enter a new journey. First of all, on behalf of all the teachers in the primary school, let me express my heartfelt congratulations to you.At this moment, looking at your innocent and happy smiling faces, my eyes seem to emerge every bit of your school. Five years, we walk hand in hand, the small classroom, sprinkled our laughter, wrote down the figure of our struggle, engraved our heroic oath. We get along day and night. We are teachers and students in class and friends after class. We have established a deep relationship between teachers and students. Looking back on the past five years, it seems that it happened yesterday, and every teacher will never forget: the first time you walked into the beautiful and tidy dormitory, lying on the comfortable cot, that excited look; When you first put on the red scarf under the bright national flag, you look solemn; After your own extracurricular learning, you can show your artistic talents on the stage; You use your diligence to repay the teachers fruitful results: in all kinds of competitions held throughout the country, you have achieved good results many times and won many praises for the school! In the past five years, in the fertile soil of Nanshanbilingual school primary school, with the care of school leaders and the careful cultivation of teachers, and with the active cooperation and strong support of parents, you have grown into a vigorous youth.School is not only the cradle of your growth, you are here to fly the ideal, sowing hope. But today, you are going to bid farewell to your alma mater. The teacher sincerely hopes that you can open up a new situation in the new semester and write your wonderful learning life with a never say die self-confidence! Bill Gates, the king of computer software, once said: "the secret of my success is not to do something, but to understand what I dont do..." so the teacher hopes that you can distinguish rightfromwrong, abide by the law, make good use of your words and deeds, and be an upright person. The reason why eagles fly high and fly freely in the blue sky is that they have a pair of hard wings that have been honed by storms, cold and heat. May you fly high bravely like eagles to welcome a brighter tomorrow and embrace the more dazzling sun. Finally, I hope you can use the green of youth to brew a rich golden autumn in the future!I wish you success in your studies and a bright future!毕业典礼演讲稿英语作文(精选篇2)There are many memorable things, I have had a particularly memorable things, that is my primary school graduation party. Although it is a party, but we are held during the day, may be called "white"."The day before the white", we are ready to do the work, prepared a cake, tea, sound...... There are many wonderful programs. The night before, I cant sleep a night, excitedly waiting for the arrival of"white".The second day, I went to school early. To the classroom, I saw the classroom four corners of asound and the walls are connected with lights, window adhesive beautiful balloon......When all the students came to the classroom, the teacher in charge announced the graduation party officially began. Some students take the curtains closed, lights are open, as in the balloon is more beautiful in the classroom, sound floated out of the soft songs. I drink a cup of milk tea, quietlywatching the students performances. Have a classmate in front of the blackboard, with white lightappeared in the students who, like in a concert. The classmates performance is very wonderful, suddenly the lights, "bang" sound. I dont know what was happening at the time, until you feel a littlepaper shredder body, I know just the students put pieces of fireworks."White" slowly is close to the end, the students sang Li Shutongs "farewell" "pavilion, the trail edgegrass, sky......" The song. Later, everyone is very sad, because some of the students in junior high school when they are not together, also after all, this is the last day in his alma mater.Primary school I is how naive, is a naive child. Junior high school I know at that time were sad. A classmate, a friendship. The primary school graduation let me forget.毕业典礼演讲稿英语作文(精选篇3)you all are leaving your alma mater now. i have no gift to present you all except a piece of advice.what i would like to advise is that "don’t give up your study." most of the courses you have taken are partly for your certificate. you had no choice but to take them. from now on, you may study on your own. i would advise you to work hard at some special field when you are still young and vigorous. your youth will be gone that will never come back to you again. when you are old, and when your energy are getting poorer, you will not be able to as you wish to. even though you have to study in order to make a living, studies will never live up to you. making a living without studying, you will be shifted out in three or five years. at this time when you hope to make it up, you will say it is too late. perhaps you will say, "after graduation and going into the society, we will meet with an urgentproblem, that is, to make a living. for this we have no time to study. even though we hope to study, we have no library nor labs, how can we study further?"i would like to say that all those who wait to have a library will not study further even though they have one and all these who wait to have a lab will not do experiments even though they have one.when you have a firm resolution and determination to solve a problem, you will naturally economize on food and clothing.as for time, i should say it’s not a problem. you may know that every day he could do only an hour work, not much more than that because darwin was ill for all his life. you must have read hisachievements. every day you spend an hour in reading 10 useful pages, then you will read more than 3650 pages every year. in 30 years you will have read 110,000 pages.my fellow students, reading 110,000 pages will make you a scholar. but it will take you an hour to read three kinds of small-sized newspapers and it will take you an hour and a half to play fourrounds of mahjian pieces. reading small-sized newspapers or playing mahjian pieces, or working hard to be a scholar? it’s up to you all. henrik ibsen said, "it is your greatest duty to make yourself out."studying is then as tool as casting. giving up studying will destroy yourself.i have to say goodbye to you all. your alma mater will open her eyes to see what you will be in 10 years. goodbye!毕业典礼演讲稿英语作文(精选篇4)In the past decade alone, we’ve seen historic hurricanes devastate islands across the Caribbean. We’ve seen ‘1,000-year floods’ hit the Midwestern and Southern United States multiple times in a decade. And we’ve seen record-breaking wildfires ravage California and record-breaking typhoons kill thousands in the Philippines. This is a true crisis. And if we fail to rise to the occasion, your generation, your children, and grandchildren will pay a terrible price. So scientists know there can be no delay in taking action – and many government and political leaders around the world are starting to understand that.Yet here in the United States, our federal government is seeking to become the only country in the world to withdrawfromthe Paris Climate Agreement – the only one. Not even North Korea is doing that. Those in Washington who deny the science of climate change are no more based in reality than those who believe the moon landing was faked. And while the moon landing conspiracy theorists are relegated to the paranoid corners of talk radio, climate skeptics occupy the highest positions of power in the United States government. Now, in the administration’s defense, climate change, they say, is only a theory – yeah, like gravity is only a theory.People can ignore gravity at their own risk, at least until they hit the ground. But when they ignore the climate crisis, they are not only putting themselves at risk, they are putting all humanity at risk.毕业典礼演讲稿英语作文(精选篇5)Dear teachers and studentshello everyone! The years are in a hurry, and the flowers are blooming and falling. In a twinkling of an eye, the words of six years of primary school students have passed like clouds. However, my heart is still very attached to my alma mater. After six years of primary school life, I can usher in a strange school gate. Here, many memories are clearly reflected in my mind. From the first day of the first grade, I came to this mysterious and strange campus. Day by day in the past, the blink of an eye to the second grade. Once, my friends and I were chasing each other on the playground. We were very happy. Without waiting to be happy, a sudden pain happened to me. There was a classmate who stretched out his foot, but at that time I was still completely immersed in the game. One of them didnt pay attention and was knocked down. But because of my confusion, half of my face fell out of blood, just like the face was destroyed. At that time, the players were stunned and dull for two seconds before they realized that I was wrestling. Some of my friends wipe my face with paper towel while walking, while others hold me, showing great concern and anxiety in their eyes. At that time, my tears have been spinning in my eyes, moving tears have been flowing down.I still remember that when I held the sports meeting, I chose two events, both of which were running, but I was just making trouble. I ran the 100 meter race first, and I came last. I was very discouraged, but the teacher came to comfort me and encouraged me all the time. One day later, it was my 200 meter run, and I was the last runner. The teacher not only didnt say that I was useless, but also encouraged me all the time, saying that you will get good results in the next race. I also want toget good grades very much. Im born without motor cells. No matter how I practice, I cant even get up. In sports, I may be a Dou that I cant help.Goodbye, dear alma mater, the past events in your arms are still fresh in my mind. They are the shining pearls in our memory warehouse; In your arms, we become sensible from ignorance; In your arms, we grow from childish to mature; In your arms, we have changed from timidity to bravery. Dear students, please remember that we are together bit by bit, day and night, let our friendship last forever.毕业典礼演讲稿英语作文(精选篇6)Instead of challenging Americans to believe in our ability to master the universe, as President Kennedy did, the current administration is pandering to the skeptics who, in the 1960s, looked at the space program and only saw short-term costs and long-term benefits.President Kennedy’s era earned the nickname, ‘The Greatest Generation’– not only because they persevered through the Great Depression and won the Second World War. They earned it because of determination to rise, to pioneer, to innovate, and to fulfill the promise of American freedom. They dreamed in moonshots. They reached for the stars. And they began to redeem – through the Civil Rights Movement – the failures of the past. They set the standard for leadership and service to our nation’s ideals. Now, your generation has the opportunity to join them in the history books. The challenge that lies before you – stopping climate change –is unlike any other ever faced by humankind. The stakes could not be higher. If left unchecked, the climate change crisis threatens to destroy oceanic life that feeds so many people on this planet. It threatens to breed war by spreading drought and hunger. It threatens to sink coastal communities, devastate farms and businesses, and spread disease.。

最新毕业典礼演讲稿英文5篇毕业典礼演讲稿英文精选篇1Dear teachers, dear classmates:Hello everyone!Time flies. In the twinkling of an eye, three years have passed. We must say goodbye to our dear teacher, and we must say goodbye to our classmates. No campus corner has left our footprints. Wherever we go, whatever we see, we can evoke a string of memories.Thinking back three years ago, we came together with innocence and hope. We are energetic and enthusiastic, and we are full of vision and expectation for the future. In the past three years, we have been enjoying the intense and intense school life in the sweat and feeling the concern of the teacher. In the study, we are in the teachers inculcate teaching gradually sensible, in the teachers patient and meticulous teaching happy learning; in life, we are in the teachers care under the care of the healthy growth, in the teachers care to feel the warmth of the family. Thousands of words do not mean our friendship with teachers. We can not finish our lingering nostalgia for teachers. Three years of study and life, more than 1000 days and nights, a teacher and teacher to talk to the heart of the heart, there is a teachers enthusiastic guidance, by the school leadership of the teachings in the busy schedule. There are encouragement, criticism, communication and guidance, all of which are the most precious wealth in our hearts. The mid-term exam is, after all, the first most sacred test in our life, and its pressure can be imagined. You know, teacher, your affectionate gaze is our strongest dependence. I believe that all the sweat and ideals of hard work will be transformed into a good news report. We know that it is the best reward for your long selfless dedication.Yes, we are full of confidence in this. Teacher, I feel your expectations, your eyes. Three years, the end of junior high school life, three years of life, such as knife like wind, such as sword, came hurriedly, also hurried, time leisurely, the years leisurely. In three years of life, you may be sad for yourself, to pain yourself, to hate yourself, or to blame the teacher, the teacher, the teacher, the drops of life, and the memory of us. We saw that Kay was sitting in a tight seat, enjoying his love in his work. The summer breeze is like a temple of old wine, the tree of Lin Yuan, the people of Lin Garden are a little drunk. Today we will take a small drunken step and take the old boat ticket with faith. We have the youth, we should dare to struggle, youth is the starting point of the dream, after you walk, you will find that my future is not a dream; youth is the capital of people, after you walk, you will find that the mature you will not be poor; youth is the platform of life, after walking, the heart of the dream will sail to the next station. Life is no more than a mountain, outside the Castle Peak outside the building, life is rich and free. Once we chased crazy, flock fighting, now when we know the courage to face, once did not understand the world, eat and drink pleasure, now should be the chair of needle felt, rock pavement, Enron never move. The writing of the pen is no longer wild and proud. It is written in a small brush. It is written in a small print. It is really exquisite and real. When we met again after many years, looking back at a smile, Yunlong brother was safe. I hope that each of us has a happy life, a tender smile, a bitter smile, and a long smile on the sky. I laugh from across the sky. Our hearts are beating, blood is burning again, come on, let us chase after the life that is full of anger. Finally, the future of Zhu Lin Garden will be more brilliant.毕业典礼演讲稿英文精选篇3irst of all, we must cultivate students interest in english study. let students in learning to find joy in joy in the interest of interest, found in the determination of decision and perseverance, namely train drivers + to + perserve = interest. of course started to learn english, dont be too hard. guiding students from the simple, funny, funny began to enable students to find suitable for their interest in learning. and they decide to "light" surveys. and allow students to go wrong, dont pursue every word is correct.secondly, the students have interest, help them to plan. watch english materials and listen to english radio, looking for learning environment, life is much, learn english and have much broader, take every chance to exposure to english. in class, students try to speak in english, usually between classmates exchange, encourage students to use english, dont be afraid of making mistakes the wrong. to establish weekly learning new words in the target, the vocabulary, records recorded all sorts of new words and phrases. because learning english must have vocabulary as thefoundation, will play a protracted war, remembering words to guerrilla warfare. can make them more "to" surveys.learning english as friends, in different occasions contact might remember, not isolated words and remember its neighbors. it is necessary to guide students to read, this of learning english is very important to have more understanding of western culture and western learning habit, master of language background is also an important way of learning. then two chinese ppc to achieve. we finally achieved the goal ", two surveys to two chinese to spending."finally, let students enjoy happiness in suffering, more study is interesting, from passive to active, change from me to learn to learn.毕业典礼演讲稿英文精选篇4Dear schoolmates,As I am graduating. Looking back to the past three years, I find that I have bee more mature. I have been aware of the importance of learning knowledge, which is beneficial to my future. What impressed me a lot is the help that my teachers and parents offered when I was in trouble, which supported me during the period. Moreover, I regretted that I didnt work harder. From time to time, facing the pressure, I quarreled with my parents, about which I feel sorry and regretful. To live up to my parents expectation, I will make my effort to work harder in university. It is no doubt that there will be many challenges waiting for me. However, no matter how difficult it is, I will spare no effort to overe it.When it es to the suggestion that I can give to you, I hold the belief that in no case should you set aside the study. And while the moon landing conspiracy theorists are relegated to the paranoidcorners of talk radio, climate skeptics occupy the highest positions of power in the United States government. Now, in the administration’s defense, climate change, they say, is only a theory – yeah, like gravity is only a theory.People can ignore gravity at their own risk, at least until they hit the ground. But when they ignore the climate crisis, they are not only putting themselves at risk, they are putting all humanity at risk.。

毕业典礼英文演讲稿(通用6篇)毕业典礼英文演讲稿1Dear students, distinguished teachers:After years of hard study, students have successfully realized their college dreams and are about to embark on a new journey of life.First of all, ON behalf of the school to XX all undergraduate graduates to express warm congratulations and heartfelt blessing!Todays commencement is destined to be an unforgettable moment for all of us. It brings me back to my own graduation from college more than 30 years ago.I just listened to the speech of sha Ying, the graduate representative, and I believe she represents the sincerity of all the graduates of XX.Students of the school, parents, teachers have such heartfelt expression of emotion, Alma mater feel happy for you, I am proud of you!Dear students, this year, the university has reformed the criteria for awarding bachelors degree. The degree awarding has been separated from the Score of Cet-4, enabling more students to successfully complete their university studies. The reason why we do this is not to think that English is not important. The fundamental starting point is to adhere to the people-oriented concept and adhere to the way of education of the university, so that every student can enjoy free and harmonious development. The future of life should not be affected by the SCORE of CET-4.In fact, from another level, when we learn English well, we should also pay due attention to our mother tongue, establish the confidence and consciousness of national culture, which is also the obligatory responsibility and responsibility of university education.College graduation ceremony is a vivid embodiment of the spirit and culture of the university, which will remain in our hearts forever after many years. This year, the university has provided a gown for each of you to feel and enjoy the occasion.Due to the large number of graduates, I cannot personally award degrees to each student. Please understand that I will authorize each school to award bachelors degrees to each student.University is the palace of human science and knowledge, is the highland of thought and spirit. The Confucian classic, The Book of Rites, opens with the words: "The way of a university lies in being clear and virtuous, being close to the people, and being perfect.Knowledge leads to stillness, and stillness leads to stillness, and stillness leads to security, and security leads to contemplation, and contemplation leads to acquisition."Such ideas are still guiding the running practice of modern universities in China."Stop at perfection" undoubtedly represents the highest pursuit of human moral ideal, which is the power of faith. We say that the fundamental mission of a university is to foster morality and cultivate people. What is the basis of virtue? It is ideal, it is faith, it is faith.People are good and evil, people are good and evil, the key lies in the difference between ideals, beliefs and beliefs. An ideal is a vision of what is possible in connection with a goal.Faith is the spiritual will established on the basis of certain knowledge, to believe in a certain idea or ideal and to act on it.Faith is the highest level of ideas, is a certain doctrine, advocates of extreme confidence, trust and respect. In my mind, faith is a sacred word, faith is a power of thought. To be strong, a nation must have firm and upward faith. To prosper, a society must have a firm and upward faith; To live a meaningful and valuable happy life, one needs a great faith to guide andsupport.Fellow students, faith is the foundation of morality, faith is the source of strength, faith is the rule of behavior, faith is the mark of action, faith is the road to happiness. In this era of pluralism and openness, we still need firm faith. In the course of life in the future, I hope you will let the lighthouse of faith illuminate your way forward, and let the power of faith guide you to live a full life with pursuit, value and significance!Thank you!毕业典礼英文演讲稿2Dear parents, teachers and dear children:How do you do!First of all, my warmest congratulations to you as you finish your studies and head off into the distance.Just listen to the introduction of 20 classes, just like flipping through old photos, arouse my dusty memories.Remember, 20XX, in the military training base, our school team to visit you, is catching up with you in the hot sun to practice standing posture, the instructor told me that this is "I have ever seen the most strong will of the students."I remember that in 20xx, in the final district unified examination, it was you who created the history of winning the second place in Longgang District by equal points of multiple cultural disciplines. You told everyone with your efforts and actions that "everything is possible as long as you work hard."I remember that in 20xx, in the science and culture festival, you created an 8-meter long scroll "Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival", and you performed a large-scale poem reciting "Ode to Chinese Etiquette" in the rain. At that time, a leader who visited our school said to me, "This is the real quality education."Of course, you will not forget the college entranceexamination, the red carpet, and teachers high five refueling, so confident, so heroic, so exciting. At that moment, I said to myself "This is our greatest educational achievement, you are xx forever proud."This touching photo will not only be treasured in the archives, but also in the minds of every xx forever.Because, she recorded your colorful youth, witnessed your growth footprint, froze many warm moments. But I also know that life cannot and should not be frozen in photographs.Today, you will leave here, resolutely to the distance of lifes dreams.Facing the distance, I believe you must be full of longing, lofty feelings. But, dear students, have not thought, you why to go far? Please do not forget, only reading can reach far.As much as you have read, dear children, as your president, I want to tell you that I would much rather see you stop studying for tests, stop studying for what you need.Reading is a lifetime thing, reading will give you wisdom and spirit, give you the direction and method of the distance;Remember, there is still peace so far away.Impetuosity will not take you far away, do not for immediate fame and wealth and exhaust your passion for life, do not shake the direction of your life for the cold and hot professional.Students, if you want to send far away, dont go too far in the direction of small wisdom, think more about big wisdom, big pattern;Dont go too far in the direction of complaining, think about how to build, how to grow;Dont go too far in the direction of hatred, think more about tolerance and gratitude;Dont go too far in the direction of utilitarianism and tackiness. Think about the dedication and dedication of your parents and teachers.Dontgo too far in the direction of self-righteousness, think more about the dream at the beginning.Boys, always remember why you set out."We have gone so far that we have forgotten why we started," said The Lebanese poet Gibran. We should not pursue education for the sake of education, so that we forget the social responsibility of higher education; We should not succeed for the sake of success, so that we forget the mission and responsibility behind success; We should not be individualistic for individualistic sake, so that we forget the essence of human nature and the direction of progress. As president, as teachers, everyone here is eager to see you go faster and climb higher in your life. But I want to tell you right now that you dont have to go too fast on your way to a distant place. The Indians told us not to run too fast, but to let our souls follow;Do not too deliberately pursue must go far, "know" can be far.Class, please take an old photo for a trip. When confused, the old photos of "seeking truth, kindness and beauty" may help you point the way.In times of despair, that old picture of you as a miracle may give you strength to move forward. When you succeed, old pictures of "progressive happiness" may add even more joy and happiness.毕业典礼英文演讲稿3Members of the Parent Council, Parents, teachers and students:Everybody is good!Today is the graduation ceremony day of our school, this years graduates, thanks to all the superiors and distinguished guests, in their busy schedule to come to guide, and give a lot of precious prizes to encourage students, on behalf of the teachersand students to the highest respect and gratitude.Dear graduates, graduation is only the end of one stage of learning, but also the beginning of another. After three years of hard study in Sacred Heart, the students finally finished their study with perseverance, patience and perseverance. All the officers, distinguished guests, parents and teachers present here are happy and congratulating you.In the past three years, every teacher of Sacred Heart has not only taught you knowledge, but also guided many people and things. As you are leaving school today, the headmaster would like to remind and encourage you.I think in todays society, there are a lot of people at the time of frustration, or work not smooth, will think of going to fortune tellers, we are not against fortune tellers, but more importantly, each one should carry his own life, go your own way and the master of himself is the fate, want to change your fate, create a new bureau, only by knowing yourself, settled themselves, their own have a real possibility,So how do you create yourself? I think you should have four things;Thats faith, concept, connection, ability. The first faith: the purpose of faith is to let us cultivate the mind and mind full of faith. What letter of the word mother source ethics, self-restraint all the good faith can cultivate good roots, can help us to bother brain, beautify life, the future is expected, life have to rely on, when everyone enjoying the material life, more need to have a soul of nutrients to nourish, soft, especially young people need through religion to balance the body and mind more, Ann lives of body and mind. The second idea: each of us should have the right idea, especially in this era of rapid competition, our idea should change with the change of external environment at any time;Theso-called mountain does not turn the road, the road does not turn people, people do not turn the heart, everyone should be timely, appropriate, appropriate situation, appropriate situation to adjust the correct outlook on life, so that they can be full of confidence to accept every challenge. The third affinity: as the saying goes, people are prosperous, wealth is prosperous, and good affinity is to maintain high quality interpersonal relationship with others. Whether a persons connections are abundant or weak is an important key to success.A smile, a greeting can become attached to others, please do not be stingy. The fourth ability: People often complain: Why do I always fail to achieve the goal and desire to succeed, but do we have enough ability to open the door to success? A product has good quality and marketing plan, but if there is no good execution ability, no matter how good the product is, it will not sell well. Therefore, it is very important to develop your own professional field and executive skills.Dear students: as the saying goes: fortune makes life, the opportunity is infinite, do you want to create the spring of your life please do not forget, you must have a firm belief, correct concept, good contacts, advantage ability, with the above conditions, I believe your future will be full of spring flowers, brilliant. Finally, wish: graduates, bright prospects, bright future!Blessing: school students, academic progress, happy body and mind!I wish: distinguished guests, good health and all the best! 毕业典礼英文演讲稿4Dear teachers and students:Everybody is good!Today, we are here to hold the graduation ceremony of the class of 20XX.First of all, on behalf of the school, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to the students who have successfully completed their studies in junior high school after three years of hard work, and pay high tribute to the teachers who have cultivated the healthy growth of the students. At this moment, I have a lot of feelings.Three years ago, you entered the depression door with confidence and hope, three years later, you harvest success and dreams are about to embark on a new journey in life.Look back on more than a thousand days when you "dreamed and struggled, gave and enjoyed, achieved and exceeded".The process of learning is lonely and hard, but the result is always exciting and surprising. In this past years, I as your president, moved you moved, harvest your harvest, success in your success! Some people say that youth is too hasty a book.Yes, three years, more than a thousand pages so quickly turned over, but the Alma mater and teachers, forget you in the classroom assiduous figure, forget you stay in the Alma mater all the beautiful little drops!Over the past three years, you have learned to be curious and more positive. You learned to be a man, to be tolerant and kind; You learned to live together, know humility and comity; You have learned to do things and are thriving. In the past three years, you have developed a strong teacher-student relationship with your teachers.Teachers in giving you knowledge and ability, teach you philosophy of life, but also theirselfless love for you, give you meticulous care.In this regard, let us use warm applause to all the students hard work, dedicated teachers to express our heartfelt thanks again!Junior high school graduation, for you this is just an important stage of life journey, you become the road, but also a long journey. We cannot make cheap predictions about your future, nor can we make easy predictions about your future."Difficulties and hardships, yu Yu cheng", success only by their own efforts, success only by their own hard work.Students, you are about to embark on a new journey of learning, I want to give you three words:The first sentence: the sea is wide by diving, the sky is high as the birds fly, I hope you will study in any school in the future, can be diligent, meticulous, and achieve good results. The second sentence is "cultivate morality, aim high", I hope that no matter what kind of career you are engaged in in the future, you can work steadily in your own post, and strive to become the backbone, the mainstay of society, become the pillar of the society. The third sentence is firmly believe that "mountains and rivers doubt there is no way, a bright future and a village", no matter what difficulties encountered in study and work in the future, never be discouraged, to use a healthy and optimistic psychological and normal positive attitude to face, believe that love to fight will win!Believe that "sunshine always after the wind and rain"!Dear students, bid farewell to the familiar campus, bid farewell to the teachers and students who get along with each other day and night, bid farewell to this nostalgic life station, infinite broad and beautiful prospects are unfolding in front ofyou.I hope you will cherish the unforgettable years in your Alma mater forever and never forget the ardent expectations of your teachers. I am not sure I can live up to the high standards of Harvard Commencement speakers. Lastyear, J.K. Rowling, the billionaire novelist, who started as a classics student, graced thispodium. The year before, Bill Gates, the mega-billionaire philanthropist and computer nerdstood here. Today, sadly, you have me. I am not wealthy, but at least I am a nerd.

Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed faculty members, andfellow graduates, Today marks a significant milestone in our lives as we come together to celebrate our graduation from university. It is a moment filled with mixed emotions, as we bid farewell to this chapter of our lives while eagerly anticipating the adventures that lie ahead. As we stand here on the cusp of a new beginning, let us take a moment to reflect on the journey that has brought us to this point. The late nights spent studying, the challenges we faced, and the friendships we forged have all contributed to shaping us into the individuals we are today. We have grown not only academically, but also personally, and it is with a sense of pride that we can now call ourselves graduates. However, our graduation is not just a testament to our individual achievements, but also a testament to the unwavering support and guidance we have received from our families, friends, and professors. Their belief in us has been a driving force behind our success, and for that, we are eternally grateful. As we embark on the next chapter of our lives, we must remember to carry with us the lessons we have learned within these university walls. We must continue to seek knowledge, to remain curious, and to always strive for excellence. But most importantly, we must never lose sight of our dreams and aspirations. The road ahead may be uncertain, but if there's one thing I am certain of, it is the immense potential that each and every one of us possesses. We are filled with the drive, determination, and passion to make a positive impact on theworld, and I have no doubt that we will succeed in whatever we choose to pursue. So, as we stand on the threshold of a new beginning, let us embrace the future with open hearts and open minds. Congratulations, Class of [Year], and may our journey beyond these walls be filled with endless opportunities and great success. Thank you.。

1Duke accepted me as an ‘early decision’ candidate and, for the first time, I felt seen, and heard and valued. One of the finest universities in the nation was willing to bet on me. I was, and I remain, eternally grateful for the opportunity to attend and graduate in the Trinity Class of 1979. My Duke degree and our Blue Devil family have opened more doors than I could have imagined and stood in support when I needed it the most.Graduates, today, we still find ourselves in the same morass of exclusion and intolerance I experienced all those years ago. The high degree of acrimony is unyielding and discouraging, but I want to make sure you hear this: Discouragement doesn’t have to be debilitating. If anything, discouragement should drive you to open your own doors and design your own future. And just remember when you open those doors, there will be people on the other side. Some of them will be cheerleaders, and some of them will be critics. The challenges you face on your uphill climb will often come with an audience, because the reality is this: Adversity doesn’t happen always in pri vate.I know this all too well.英语演讲稿2As I said, my grandfather was a pastor for 50 plus years, leading the civil rights movement and marches, desegregating the public transit system and helping the first African-Americanpolicemen secure steady jobs. My father was a physician, one of only 100 black doctors in Atlanta when he started his practice, and my mother was a civic leader who co-founded a coalition of neighborhoods across segregated communities.Following in the tradition of my elders, I pursued a role in public service as President of the City Council and you heard that I served for six years. As the leader of the Legislative Branch of municipal government, I learned all the mechanics and the operations of the City. And when it was time for my next step, I threw my hat in the ring and ran for Mayor.I entered as the front runner with the highest name recognition. I raised a ton of money, I knocked on tens of thousands of doors. That said, there were issues along the way; my parents became ill – my father with the ravages of diabetes and two amputated legs and my mother diagnosed with the early onset of dementia – and I decided I needed to withdraw from the race to look after them. But my father, he wasn’t having it. He told me I need to step up! That I should return to the race and try to get elected and give back to the city that had given us so much. But by then, my campaign’s momentum was gone. I lost the race and I was absolutely devastated. Every question you can possibly image went through my head. Had the people of Atlanta forgotten me? Had they forgotten all the work that I had done? Did they lose faith in me? Were they disappointing [disappointed]?英语演讲稿3After three days of self-pity, my perspective changed. I realized there were more ways to serve my fellow citizens and my city than just being in elective office. But the lesson became crystal clear several roles into thefuture. And graduates, here’s the lesson:Failure’s not fatal. It’s feedback.Did you hear me? Put that in your phones. Failure is not fatal. It’s feedback.I wasn’t supposed to be the Mayor. Had I been the Mayor, I would not have been available to work as a senior officer at the Coca-Cola company where my maternal grandparents had worked for a combined 45 years – jobs that enabled my mother and her sister to be ‘first generation college graduates’.Nor would I perhaps have been on the radar to become a trustee here at Duke, alongside my good friend and fellow Dukie, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver. Ya’ll know who that is? That’s a bad boy.And had I not met Adam, I may never have been a candidate for the President of the WNBA, the Women’s National Basketball Association, somebody say amen, one of the most rewarding roles that I have ever undertaken.英语演讲稿4So, I’m not just asking you, I’m advising you to anticipate defeat, strongly advising it. Don’t be surprised when it comes your way. Acknowledge it. Engage with inquisitive abandon and leave indelible fingerprints wherever you may go. Search for environments that may give you grief but they may also help you to grow. Now, no one taught me the importance of that existential exploration better than my parents. And it was my father who showed me that in fact, it is in discomfort that we find our most defining moments. My dad became a doctor because he knew the circumstances were not the same for everybody, that some people were not asfortunate as our family was. And as he put it, he wanted to eliminate “dis-ease.” Are you with me, graduates? “Dis-ease.” That’s exactly how he said it to me.When I was a little girl, I would go on house calls with him. The patients all knew and loved him and I saw how much he prided himself on being a caretaker, someone who did his very best to reverse their compromised positions of his patients – to put their mind and bodies at ease. But there was one house call I remember in particular. It’s seared in the back of my brain as if it happened yesterday. His diabetic patient was having a hypoglycemic attack. He told me to get the orange juice. I did, an d I watched him save a woman’s life that day.英语演讲稿5I’ve never been able to shake the haunting feeling of this specific house call because of the significance it would take on later in my own life –and it reminds me, of course, that even doctors can meet the same inevitable fate of becoming patients. When I tried to tend to the diabetes my father developed later in life, I thought of that woman’s shaking, pale face. And when I looked at his limbs –a double amputee, and recognized he was in renal failure, I thought of how he fought for a life, when she could not fight for her own.And I thought of how in his twilight years, he was experiencing the same discomfort and dis-ease he had so seamlessly kept at bay for everyone else. But even so, I knew we were lucky, my family. We could afford my father’s insulin. We could afford to do what it took to take care of him.。

毕业典礼英语演讲稿(精选4篇)毕业典礼英语演讲稿篇1i am honored to be with you today at your commencement from one of the finest universities in the world. i never graduated from college. truth be told, this is the closest i've ever gotten to a college graduation.today i want to tell you three stories from my life. that's it. no big deal. just three stories.the first story is about connecting the dots.i dropped out of reed college after the first 6 months, but then stayed around as a drop-in for another 18 months or so before i really quit. so why did i drop out?it started before i was born. my biological mother was a young, unwed college graduate student, and she decided to put me up for adoption. she felt very strongly that i should be adopted by college graduates, so everything was all set for me to be adopted at birth by a lawyer and his wife. except that when i popped out they decided at the last minute that they really wanted a girl. so my parents, who were on a waiting list, got a call in the middle of the night asking: "we have an unexpected baby boy; do you want him?" they said: "of course." my biological mother later found out that my mother had never graduated from college and that my father had never graduated from high school. she refused to sign the final adoption papers. she only relented a few months later when my parents promised that i would someday go to college.and 17 years later i did go to college. but i naively chose a college that was almost as expensive as stanford, and all of my working-class parents' savings were being spent on my college tuition. after six months, i couldn't see the value in it. i had no idea what i wanted to do with my life and no idea how college was going to help me figure it out. and here i was spending all of the money my parents had saved their entire life. so i decided to drop out and trust that it would all work out ok. it was pretty scary at the time, but looking back it was one of the best decisions i ever made. the minute i dropped out i could stop taking the required classes that didn't interest me, and begin dropping in on the ones that looked interesting.it wasn't all romantic. i didn't have a dorm room, so i slept on the floor in friends' rooms, i returned coke bottles for the 5 deposits to buy food with, and i would walk the 7 miles across town every sunday night to get one good meal a week at the hare krishna temple. i loved it. and much of what i stumbled into by following my curiosity and intuition turned out to be priceless later on. let me give you one example: reed college at that time offered perhaps the best calligraphy instruction in the country. throughout the campus every poster, every label on every drawer, was beautifully hand calligraphed. because i had dropped out and didn't have to take the normal classes, i decided to take a calligraphy class to learn how to do this. i learned about serif and san serif typefaces, about varying the amount of space between different letter combinations, about what makes great typography great. it was beautiful, historical, artistically subtle in a way that science can't capture, and i found it fascinating.none of this had even a hope of any practical application in my life. but ten years later, when we were designing the first macintosh computer, it all came back to me. and we designed it all into the mac. it was the first computer with beautiful typography. if i had never dropped in on that single course in college, the mac would have never had multiple typefaces or proportionally spaced fonts. and since windows just copied the mac, its likely that no personal computer would have them. if i had never dropped out, i would have never dropped in on this calligraphy class, and personal computers might not have the wonderful typography that they do. of course it was impossible to connect the dots looking forward when i was in college. but it was very, very clear looking backwards ten years later.again, you can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. so you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. you have to trust in something - your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. this approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.my second story is about love and loss.i was lucky – i found what i loved to do early in life. woz and i started apple in my parents garage when i was 20. we worked hard, and in 10 years apple had grown from just the two of us in a garage into a $2 billion company with over 4000 employees. we had just released our finest creation - the macintosh - a yearearlier, and i had just turned 30. and then i got fired. how can you get fired from a company you started?well, as apple grew we hired someone who i thought was very talented to run the company with me, and for the first year or so things went well. but then our visions of the future began to diverge and eventually we had a falling out. when we did, our board of directors sided with him. so at 30 i was out. and very publicly out. what had been the focus of my entire adult life was gone, and it was devastating.i really didn't know what to do for a few months. i felt that i had let the previous generation of entrepreneurs down - that i had dropped the baton as it was being passed to me. i met with david packard and bob noyce and tried to apologize for screwing up so badly. i was a very public failure, and i even thought about running away from the valley. but something slowly began to dawn on me – i still loved what i did. the turn of events at apple had not changed that one bit. i had been rejected, but i was still in love. and so i decided to start over.i didn't see it then, but it turned out that getting fired from apple was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. the heaviness of being successful was replaced by the lightness of being a beginner again, less sure about everything. it freed me to enter one of the most creative periods of my life.during the next five years, i started a company named next, another company named pixar, and fell in love with an amazing woman who would become my wife.pixar went on to create the worlds first computer animated feature film, toy story, and is now the most successful animation studio in the world. in a remarkable turn of events, apple bought next, i retuned to apple, and the technology we developed at next is at the heart of apple's current renaissance. and laurene and i have a wonderful family together.i'm pretty sure none of this would have happened if i hadn't been fired from apple. it was awful tasting medicine, but i guess the patient needed it.sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick. don't lose faith. i'm convinced that the only thing that kept me going was that i loved what i did.you've got to find what you love. and that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers. your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. and the only way to do great work is to love what you do. if you haven't found it yet, keep looking. don't settle. as with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it. and, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. so keep looking until you find it. don't settle.my third story is about death.when i was 17, i read a quote that went something like: "if you live each day as if it was your last, someday you'll most certainly be right." it made an impression on me, and since then, for the past 33 years, i have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: "if today were the last day of。

May be you will ask me: do you have special to share? Yes, I want to share few simple but critical suggestions with you and with for the coming juniors:First, be work hard and think smart.Secondly, believe things happened for a reason.Thirdly, just as Jobs said at the graduation ceremony in Stanford University, stay hungry, stay foolish.Today, we will graduate from China Jiliang University, but we will be with Jiliang forever. Let us think forward and work together to make the new history of China Jiliang University.Thank you.毕业典礼上的英文演讲稿2Unlike any other creature on this planet, humans can learn and understand, without having experienced. They can think themselves into other people’s minds, imagine themselves into other people’s places.Of course, this is a power, like my brand of fictional magic, that is morally neutral. One might use such an ability to manipulate, or control, just as much as to understand or sympathise. And many prefer not to exercise their imaginations at all. They choose to remain comfortably within the bounds of their own experience, never troubling to wonder how it would feel to have been born other than they are. They can refuse to hear screams or to peer inside cages; they can close their minds and hearts to any suffering that does not touch them personally; they can refuse to know.I might be tempted to envy people who can live that way, except that I do not think they have any fewer nightmares than I do. Choosing to live in narrow spaces can lead to a form of mental agoraphobia, and that brings its own terrors. I think the wilfully unimaginative see more monsters. They are often more afraid. What is more, those who choose not to empathize may enable real monsters. For without ever committing an act of outright evil ourselves, we collude with it, through our own apathy. One of the many things I learned at the end of that Classics corridor down which I ventured at the age of 18, in search of something I could not then define, was this, written by the Greekauthor Plutarch: What we achieve inwardly will change outer reality. That is an astonishing statement and yet proven a thousand times every day of our lives. It expresses, in part, our inescapable connection with the outside world, the fact that we touch other people’s lives simply by existing. But how much more are you, Harvard graduates of 2008, likely to touch other people’s lives? Your intelligence, your capacity for hard work, the education you have earned and received, give you unique status, and unique responsibilities. Even your nationality sets you apart. The great majority of you belong to the world’s only remaining superpower. The way you vote, the way you live, the way you protest, the pressure you bring to bear on your government, has an impact way beyond your borders. That is your privilege, and your burden. If you choose to use your status and influence to raise your voice on behalf of those who have no voice; if you choose to identify not only with the powerful, but with the powerless; if you retain the ability to imagine yourself into the lives of those who do not have your advantages, then it will not only be your proud families who celebrate your existence, but thousands and millions of people whose reality you have helped transform for the better. We do not need magic to change the world, we carry all the power we need inside ourselves already: we have the power to imagine better.I am nearly finished. I have one last hope for you, which is something that I already had at 21. The friends with whom I sat on graduation day have been my friends for life. They are my children’s godparents, the people to whom I’ve been able to turn in times of trouble, friends who have been kind enough notto sue me when I’ve used their names for Death Eaters. At our graduation we were bound by enormous affection, by our shared experience of a time that could never come again, and, of course, by the knowledge that we held certain photographic evidence that would be exceptionally valuable if any of us ran for Prime Minister. So today, I can wish you nothing better than similar friendships. And tomorrow, I hope that even if you remember not a single word of mine, you remember those of Seneca, another of those old Romans I met when I fled down the Classics corridor, in retreat from career ladders, in search of ancient wisdom:毕业典礼上的英文演讲稿3You must believe in yourself and in your work. When our first Batman movie broke all those box-office records, I received a phone call from that United Artists exec who, years before, had told me I was out of my mind. Now he said, “Michael, Im just calling to congratulate you on the success of Batman. I always said you were a visionary.” You see the poin t here —dont believe them when they tell you how bad you are or how terrible your ideas are, but also, dont believe them when they tell you how wonderful you are and how great your ideas are. Its the only way to achieve your goals in life.毕业典礼上的英文演讲稿4Sheryl Sandberg told a graduating class of TsinghuaUniversity that great leaders want genuine enthusiasm, something she said her late husband, Dave Goldberg, always had.雪莉·桑德伯格鼓励清华大学毕业学子说,伟大的领袖需要“真正的激情”,而这一点她和她已故先生戴夫·哥德伯格(Dave Goldberg)一直怀有。

It is no doubt that there will be many challenges waiting for me. However, no matter how difficult it is, I will spare no effort to overe it.When it es to the suggestion that I can give to you, I hold the belief that in no case should you set aside the study. Three years, the end of junior high school life, three years of life, such as knife like wind, such as sword, came hurriedly, also hurried, time leisurely, the years leisurely. In three years of life, you may be sad for yourself,to pain yourself, to hate yourself, or to blame the teacher, the teacher, the teacher, the drops of life, and the memory of us. In the twinkling of an eye, three years have passed. We must say goodbye to our dear teacher, and we must say goodbye to our classmates. No campus corner has left our footprints. Wherever we go,whatever we see, we can evoke a string of memories.Thinking back three years ago, we came together with innocence and hope. Three years of study and life, more than 1# days and nights, a teacher and teacher to talk to the heart of the heart, there is a teachers enthusiastic guidance, by the school leadership of the teachings in the busy schedule. There are encouragement, criticism, munication and guidance, all of which are the most precious wealth in our hearts. Now I can still remember every smile you have, every time you talk, your every lesson is still fresh in our mind. Without recollection, everything is so vivid and very gratifying. Teacher, we really do not want to talk about leaving, we are deeply attached to you and campus. We should follow the school style of civilization, enterprising, realistic and innovative. Under the encouragement of the school motto ofMing and Germany, the learning, the diligence and the seeking, we should study hard and innovate under the inspiring of learning good thinking, respecting teachers and keeping discipline, improving themselves and developing harmoniously. We want to graduate from the alma mater and face the teachers and younger brothers and sisters, we hope that you will cherish the time, study hard and fight hard. Facing the beloved teachers, we wish you health, the smooth work, the peach and plum all over the world; in the face of the dear alma mater, we want to engrave you in the heart, no matter in the future. Wherever we go, we will be proud to say that we are alma mater.毕业典礼演讲稿英文精选篇5In the past decade alone, we’ve seen his toric hurricanes devastate islands across the Caribbean. We’ve seen ‘1,#-year floods’ hit the Midwestern and Southern United States multiple times in a decade. And we’ve seen record-breaking wildfires ravage California and record-breaking typhoons kill thousands in the Philippines. This is a true crisis. And if we fail to rise to the occasion, your generation, your children, and grandchildren will pay a terrible price. So scientists know there can be no delay in taking action – and many government and political leaders around the world are starting to understand that.Yet here in the United States, our federal government is seeking to bee the only country in the world to withdrawfromthe Paris Climate Agreement – the only one. But when they ignore the climate crisis, they are not only putting themselves at risk, they are putting all humanity at risk.。

2023年高中毕业典礼英文演讲稿:梦想与责任(精选多篇)1. Dream and ResponsibilityDear fellow graduates, teachers, and parents,Today, we are graduating from high school and entering a new chapter of our lives. This is not only an occasion for celebration but also a moment that demands reflection. As we embark on new journeys, we carry with us our dreams and aspirations, but we must also assume the responsibility that comes with our education.Throughout our high school years, we have learned not only academic knowledge but also essential social and emotional skills. We have gained a deeper understanding of the world and ourselves, and we have discovered our passions and talents. Now, as we move forward, we must recognize that our education is not merely for personal gain but also for the betterment of society. We live in a world that faces numerous challenges, such as climate change, inequality, and conflict. As educated individuals, we have a responsibility to contribute to solving these problems. We must use our skills and knowledge to create positive change in our communities and the world. We must also recognize our privilege and be advocates for those who are marginalized and disadvantaged. However, this responsibility should not diminish our dreams and aspirations. Our dreams give us direction and motivation, and they inspire us to make a difference. With our education and determination, we can pursue these dreams and make them areality while fulfilling our responsibility to society. In conclusion, as we graduate from high school, let us carry with us our dreams and the responsibility that comes with them. Let us use our education to make a positive impact on our world, and let us never forget the importance of empathy, compassion, and humility. Congratulations to the class of 2023, and I wish you all the best in your endeavors.2. Pursuing Dreams and Fulfilling ResponsibilitiesDear fellow graduates, faculty, and families,It is an honor to stand here today as we celebrate our high school graduation. We have been working toward this moment for many years, and today we finally reach our goal. As we look ahead to the future, I urge all of us to keep two things in mind: pursuing our dreams and fulfilling our responsibilities. Our dreams are what will drive us toward success in the years to come. They have been with us since childhood, and they have evolved as we have grown and learned more about ourselves and the world. Pursuing one's dreams can be tough, but it is crucial for happiness and fulfillment. Do not let anyone tell you that you cannot achieve your dreams. Be brave, work hard, and have faith in yourself. However, we must also recognize our responsibilities that come with our education. We have been blessed with the opportunity to receive an excellent education, which sets us apart from manyothers. This education is not merely for our own benefit but also for the betterment of society. Our responsibility is to use our knowledge and skills for the greater good. We must be aware of the problems that our world faces and strive to find solutions for them. It is essential to use our education to make a positive impact on society.Throughout our high school journey, we have learned many essential values that will help us to pursue our dreams while fulfilling our responsibilities. We have learned to be curious, open-minded, and independent. We have learned to be resilient, compassionate, and ethical. These values will be the tools that we can use to make a difference in our world. Finally, as we step into the next chapter of our lives, do not forget the support system that has brought us here today. Our parents, siblings, teachers, and friends have all played a vital role in our success. Let us take a moment to express our gratitude to them.In conclusion, pursuing dreams and fulfilling responsibilities must go hand in hand. Do not be afraid to chase after what you want, but be aware of the impact that you can have on society. Congratulations to the class of 2023, and I wish you all the best on your journey ahead.3. Dreams and Responsibilities: A Journey AheadDear fellow graduates, distinguished guests, and beloved teachers, Today is the day we have been waiting for since we started highschool. It is a milestone that marks the end of our academic journey, and the beginning of a new chapter in our lives. As we move forward, it is essential to remember the two guiding principles that have brought us here, dreams, and responsibilities. All of us hold dreams or goals that we want to achieve. Some of us dream of becoming scientists, technology experts, doctors, or even astronauts. Some dream of starting their own companies, traveling, or changing the world. Whatever our dreams may be, they are significant motivators that propel us forward. But, our dreams are not enough to shape our lives. As we take our next steps out of high school, we become part of a more extensive ecosystem that stretches beyond our individual lives. An ecosystem that requires us to take responsibility for what we have learned, the people we serve, and the effect we have on our world. We are part of a community that requires us to be responsible for the betterment of all without limiting what we aspire to become. Our next journey will not be without its hard times, but it is up to us to rise to the challenge. It is our responsibility to pursue our goals utilizing the lessons we have learned in the classrooms, the experiences we hold from interactions, and our individual will to contribute positively to the world around us. It is our duty to strive continuously and work tirelessly toward our aspirations while also raising awareness about pressing social issues and offering solutions. So, as we go into the next phase of our lives, I want to urge us toembrace both dreams and responsibilities simultaneously. To pursue our goals with a keen sense of responsibility, not only to ourselves but to the world at large. To use all that we hold in our minds and hearts, thanks to our parents, teachers, and fellow students, to not only grow personally but to also enable the society that we belong to grow economically, environmentally, socially and technologically. Finally, let me say that I am proud of each and every one of us here. You have achieved a remarkable feat. Congratulations on your graduation. I wish you nothing but success in your future endeavors. You are on your way to becoming the world's next movers and shakers, leading the way into the future with our valiant dreams and a healthy dose of responsibility. You got this!。

(I know that because I get a sneak peek at those remarks.) But I wish you could also have heard the two talks given at last December’s winter commencements.Jordan Cebulla told of being a poor student in high school here locally who almost abandoned any idea of higher education. But, told by a family friend that Lafayette is, quote, “a gritty town full of gritty people,” he gave Ivy T ech a try. And four years later, he is a Purdue alum. He told his classmates, “In the end, if we quit on ourselves, everyone else will quit on us, t oo.”In his response speech, Seon Shoopman confided that, out of sixteen schools he applied to, Purdue was the only one to admit him, provided he attend our summer boot camp. Three and a half years later, he, too, earned his Purdue degree, with honors, becoming the first in his family to graduate from college. Seon said that, more than any other motive, he wanted to do it for the mother who had pushed him all the way. “When I wanted to quit, she told me not to. When I wanted to leave school, she told me not to. She told me to fight, be strong, and make something of myself.”Some in today’s world think they have discovered something new in the concept of “grit.” A Harvard Business School article just last fall was titled “Organizational Grit,” and reported th at, quote, “High achievers have extraordinary stamina. ... When easier paths beckon, their commitment issteadfast. Grit predicts who will accomplish challenging goals.” So that’s why a Harvard MBA costs 200 grand.英语演讲稿2Maybe this is all revelatory at Harvard. But in our part of the country, it’s not news. The slogan of the Whiteland (Indiana) High School Class of 1930 was “Grit Wins.” It could be a slogan at Purdue every year. I’m tempted to call Roget’s Thesaurus and let them know the antonym of “snowflake” is “Boilermaker.”Just as physical strength is built through hard exercise, emotional fortitude is enhanced by adversity and conflict. Every great achievement requires a confrontation with stress, a conquest of fear. Our engineers know, there is no traction without friction. Wilbur Wright, father of the aviation world Purdue now leads, wrote, “No bird soars in a calm.” Your strength of intellect and character will give you opportunities to lead, but it will be your strength of purpose, your resilience, your grit that will enable you to lead successfully, and by your example, to give new heart and strength to those around you. There’s one sure way to minimize stress and difficulty in life: attempt nothing that’s bold, challenge nothing that’s wrong, risk nothing that’s dangerous. Those endeavors always bring disappointment, frustration, criticism, setbacks. But they also are the source of the achievements that make life fulfilling, and the even greater grit that will get you ready for the next challenge. From opposite ends of life’s continuum, and I offer you two closing examples of the qualities I hope you have built here at this institution. Both stories involve Purdue students even younger than you are today.英语演讲稿3Last December, we said goodbye to a great man. A great man, but a typical Boilermaker. In his 94 years, Fred Fehsenfeld built a series of businesses that employed and enriched thousands of people around Indiana and the world. A model for what we now call lifelong learning, he was always on top of the latest technology, always conceiving large new projects and looking far into a future he could not possibly live to see. And modest about his achievements every step of the way.He almost didn’t get the chance to do any of that. On his 18th birthday, in 1942, he left his freshman dorm room in Cary Hall and enlisted in the Army. He flew 86 missions over Europe with a storied unit in which almost half his fellow pilots were killed in action. In an oral history of his experiences, Fred told of his first close-air dogfight combat. He was low to the ground, with bullets everywhere, and death perhaps an instant away. The interviewer asked, “What were you thinking at a moment like that?” Fred answered, “I was thinking, I finally got a chance to make some G erman pay for yanking me out of Purdue University.” He survived the war, came back, still younger than most of you, to finish his M.E. degree and lead a life of epic accomplishment.英语演讲稿4God willing, none of you will face at any age the kind of dangers and fears that Fred and Tyler did. But they, and so many others like them, have left us all a legacy that provides perspective and proportion for those inevitable moments when the pressures and disappointments of life get us down.Don’t misunderstand this, but I wish for you many such tough moments. You can easily avoid them; just lead a safely inconsequential life: run no risks, confront no injustice, accept noroles of leadership. But that’s not the path we expect you to choose. You are about to become graduates of Purdue University, which, throughout its history, has supplied leaders to a world that needs them now as rarely before.Long after you leave us, your senior year will be remembered as the year of Tyler Trent. His is a story I need not recount; everyone here knows who he was, and how he faced a situation for which words like “adversity” and “stress” don’t come close. He impacted more people, and left deeper footprints, than most who will enjoy lives several times longer than his. We’ll never forget you, Tyler.英语演讲稿5Leaders with the academic preparation to solve mind-bending technological challenges. With the moral character to help society navigate times of blurringly fast change, in ways that are ethical, equitable, and humanistic. Most of all, with the inner strength to take on the burdens of high responsibility, and the heat, envy, and hostility that comes with them, and deliver the positive change that human progress requires. You showed the quality of grit before you arrived here. That’s why we admitted you. I hope that your days here, with a faculty that pushed and stretched you, and classmates like Jordan and Seon to inspire you, built your reserves of resilience.。

毕业典礼演讲稿英文篇1Graduates of Yale University, I apologize if you have endured this type of prologue before, but I want you to do something for me. Please, take a ood look around you. Look at the classmate on your left. Look at the classmate on your right. Now, consider this: five years from now, 10 years from now, even 30 years from now, odds are the person on your left is going to be a loser. The person on your right, meanwhile, will also be a loser. And you, in the middle? What can you expect? Loser. Loserhood. Loser Cum Laude. In fact, as I look out before me today, I dont see a thousand hopes for a bright tomorrow. I dont see a thousand future leaders in a thousand industries. I see a thousand losers.Youre upset. Thats understandable. After all, how can I, Lawrence Larry Ellison, college dropout, have the audacity to spout such heresy to the graduating class of one of the nations most prestigious institutions? Ill tell you why. Because I, Lawrence Larry Ellison, second richest man on the planet, am a college dropout, and you are not.Because Bill Gates, richest man on the planet -- for now, anyway -- is a college dropout, and you are not.Because Paul Allen, the third richest man on the planet, dropped out of college, and you did not.And for good measure, because Michael Dell, No. 9 on the list and moving up fast, is a college dropout, and you, yet again, are not.Hmm . . . youre very upset. Thats understandable. So let me stroke your egos for a moment by pointing out, quite sincerely, that your diplomas were not attained in vain. Most of you, I imagine, have spent four to five years here, and in many ways what youve learned and endured will serve you well in the years ahead. Youve established good work habits. Youve established a network of people that will help you down the road. And youve established what will be lifelong relationships with the word therapy. All that of is good. For in truth, you will need that network. You will need those strong work habits. You will need that therapy. You will need them because you didnt drop out, and so you will never be among the richest people in the world. Oh sure, you may, perhaps, work your way up to No. 10 or No. 11, like Steve Ballmer. But then, I dont have to tell you who he really works for, do I? And for the record, he dropped out of grad school. Bit of a late bloomer. Finally, I realize that many of you, and hopefully by now most of you,are wondering, Is there anything I can do? Is there any hope for me at all? Actually, no. Its too late. Youve absorbed too much, think you know too much. Youre not 19 anymore. You have a built-in cap, and Im not referring to the mortar boards on your heads.Hmm... youre really very upset. Thats understandable. So perhaps this would be a good time to bring up the silver lining. Not for you, Class of 00. You are a write-off, so Ill let you slink off to your pathetic $200,000-a-year jobs, where your checks will be signed by former classmates who dropped out two years ago.Instead, I want to give hope to any underclassmen here today. I say to you, and I cant stress this enough: leave. Pack your things and your ideas and dont come back. Drop out. Start up.For I can tell you that a cap and gown will keep you down just as surely as these security guards dragging me off this stage are keeping me down . . .(At this point The Oracle CEO was ushered off stage.)毕业典礼演讲稿英文篇2you all are leaving your alma mater now. i have no gift to present you all except a piece of advice.what i would like to advise is that dont give up your study. most of the courses you have taken are partly for your certificate. you had no choice but to take them. from now on, you may study on your own. iwould advise you to work hard at some special field when you are still young and vigorous. your youth will be gone that will never come back to you again. when you are old, and when your energy are getting poorer, you will not be able to as you wish to. even though you have to study in order to make a living, studies will never live up to you. making a living without studying, you will be shifted out in three or five years. at this time when you hope to make it up, you will say it is too late. perhaps you will say, after graduation and going into the society, we will meet with an urgent problem, that is, to make a living. for this we have no time to study. even though we hope to study, we have no library nor labs, how can we study further?i would like to say that all those who wait to have a library will not study further even though they have one and all these who wait to have a lab will not do experiments even though they have one. when you have a firm resolution and determination to solve a problem, you will naturally economize on food and clothing.as for time, i should say its not a problem. you may know that every day he could do only an hour work, not much more than that because darwin was ill for all his life. you must have read his achievements. every day you spend an hour in reading 10 useful pages, then you will read more than 3650 pages every year. in 30 years you will have read 110,000 pages.my fellow students, reading 110,000 pages will make you a scholar. but it will take you an hour to read three kinds of small-sized newspapers and it will take you an hour and a half to play four rounds of mahjian pieces. reading small-sized newspapers or playing mahjian pieces, or working hard to be a scholar? its up to you all.henrik ibsen said, it is your greatest duty to make yourself out.studying is then as tool as casting. giving up studying will destroy yourself.i have to say goodbye to you all. your alma mater will open her eyes to see what you will be in 10 years. goodbye!毕业典礼演讲稿英文篇3i am honored to be with you today at your commencement from one of the finest universities in the world. i never graduated from college. truth be told, this is the closest ive ever gotten to a college graduation.today i want to tell you three stories from my life. thats it. no big deal. just three stories.the first story is about connecting the dots.i dropped out of reed college after the first 6 months, but then stayed around as a drop-in for another 18 months or so before i really quit. so why did i drop out?it started before i was born. my biological mother was a young, unwed college graduate student, and she decided to put me up foradoption. she felt very strongly that i should be adopted by college graduates, so everything was all set for me to be adopted at birth by a lawyer and his wife. except that when i popped out they decided at the last minute that they really wanted a girl. so my parents, who were on a waiting list, got a call in the middle of the night asking: we have an unexpected baby boy; do you want him? they said: of course. my biological mother later found out that my mother had never graduated from college and that my father had never graduated from high school. she refused to sign the final adoption papers. she only relented a few months later when my parents promised that i would someday go to college.and 17 years later i did go to college. but i naively chose a college that was almost as expensive as stanford, and all of my working-class parents savings were being spent on my college tuition. after six months, i couldnt see the value in it. i had no idea what i wanted to do with my life and no idea how college was going to help me figure it out. and here i was spending all of the money my parents had saved their entire life. so i decided to drop out and trust that it would all work out ok. it was pretty scary at the time, but looking back it was one of the best decisions i ever made. the minute i dropped out i could stop taking the required classes that didnt interest me, and begin dropping in on the ones that looked interesting.it wasnt all romantic. i didnt have a dorm room, so i slept on the floor in friends rooms, i returned coke bottles for the 5 deposits to buy food with, and i would walk the 7 miles across town every sunday night to get one good meal a week at the hare krishna temple. i loved it. and much of what i stumbled into by following my curiosity and intuition turned out to be priceless later on. let me give you one example: reed college at that time offered perhaps the best calligraphy instruction in the country. throughout the campus every poster, every label on every drawer, was beautifully hand calligraphed. because i had dropped out and didnt have to take the normal classes, i decided to take a calligraphy class to learn how to do this. i learned about serif and san serif typefaces, about varying the amount of space between different letter combinations, about what makes great typography great. it was beautiful, historical, artistically subtle in a way that science cant capture, and i found it fascinating.none of this had even a hope of any practical application in my life. but ten years later, when we were designing the first macintosh computer, it all came back to me. and we designed it all into the mac. it was the first computer with beautiful typography. if i had never dropped in on that single course in college, the mac would have never had multiple typefaces or proportionally spaced fonts. and since windows just copied the mac, its likely that no personal computer would havethem. if i had never dropped out, i would have never dropped in on this calligraphy class, and personal computers might not have the wonderful typography that they do. of course it was impossible to connect the dots looking forward when i was in college. but it was very, very clear looking backwards ten years later.again, you cant connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. so you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. you have to trust in something - your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. this approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.my second story is about love and loss.i was lucky i found what i loved to do early in life. woz and i started apple in my parents garage when i was 20. we worked hard, and in 10 years apple had grown from just the two of us in a garage into a $2 billion company with over 4000 employees. we had just released our finest creation - the macintosh - a year earlier, and i had just turned 30. and then i got fired. how can you get fired from a company you started?well, as apple grew we hired someone who i thought was very talented to run the company with me, and for the first year or so things went well. but then our visions of the future began to diverge and eventually we had a falling out. when we did, our board of directors sided with him. so at 30 i was out. and very publicly out. what had beenthe focus of my entire adult life was gone, and it was devastating.i really didnt know what to do for a few months. i felt that i had let the previous generation of entrepreneurs down - that i had dropped the baton as it was being passed to me. i met with david packard and bob noyce and tried to apologize for screwing up so badly. i was a very public failure, and i even thought about running away from the valley. but something slowly began to dawn on me i still loved what i did. the turn of events at apple had not changed that one bit. i had been rejected, but i was still in love. and so i decided to start over.i didnt see it then, but it turned out that getting fired from apple was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. the heaviness of being successful was replaced by the lightness of being a beginner again, less sure about everything. it freed me to enter one of the most creative periods of my life.during the next five years, i started a company named next, another company named pixar, and fell in love with an amazing woman who would become my wife.pixar went on to create the worlds first computer animated feature film, toy story, and is now the most successful animation studio in the world. in a remarkable turn of events, apple bought next, i retuned to apple, and the technology we developed at next is at the heart of apples current renaissance. and laurene and i have a wonderful family together.im pretty sure none of this would have happened if i hadnt been fired from apple. it was awful tasting medicine, but i guess the patient needed it.sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick. dont lose faith. im convinced that the only thing that kept me going was that i loved what i did.毕业典礼演讲稿英文篇4I take with me the memory of Friday afternoon ACM happy hours, known not for kegs of beer, but rather bowls of rainbow sherbet punch. Over the several years that I attended these happy hours they enjoyed varying degrees of popularity, often proportional to the quality and quantity of the accompanying refreshments - but there was always the rainbow sherbert punch.I take with me memories of purple parking permits, the West Campus shuttle, checking my pendaflex, over-due library books, trying to print from cec, lunches on Delmar, friends who slept in their offices, miniature golf in Lopata Hall, The Greenway Talk, division III basketball, and trying to convince Dean Russel that yet another engineering school rule should be changed. Finally, I would like to conclude, not with a memory, but with some advice. What would a graduation speech be without a little advice, right?Anyway, this advice comes in the form of a verse delivered to the 1977 graduating class of Lake Forest College by Theodore Seuss Geisel, better known to the world as Dr. Seuss - Heres how it goes:My uncle ordered popovers from the restaurants bill of fare. And when they were served, he regarded them with a penetrating stare . . . Then he spoke great Words of Wisdom as he sat there on that chair: To eat these things, said my uncle, you must excercise great care. You may swallow down whats solid . . . BUT . . . you must spit out the air!And . . . as you partake of the worlds bill of fare, thats darned good advice to follow. Do a lot of spitting out the hot air. And be careful what you swallow.Thank you.毕业典礼演讲稿英文篇5you all are leaving your alma mater now. i have no gift to present you all except a piece of advice.what i would like to advise is that dont give up your study. most of the courses you have taken are partly for your certificate. you had no choice but to take them. from now on, you may study on your own. i would advise you to work hard at some special field when you are still young and vigorous. your youth will be gone that will never come back to you again. when you are old, and when your energy are getting poorer, you will not be able to as you wish to. even though you have to study inorder to make a living, studies will never live up to you. making a living without studying, you will be shifted out in three or five years. at this time when you hope to make it up, you will say it is too late. perhaps you will say, after graduation and going into the society, we will meet with an urgent problem, that is, to make a living. for this we have no time to study. even though we hope to study, we have no library nor labs, how can we study further?i would like to say that all those who wait to have a library will not study further even though they have one and all these who wait to have a lab will not do experiments even though they have one. when you have a firm resolution and determination to solve a problem, you will naturally economize on food and clothing.as for time, i should say its not a problem. you may know that every day he could do only an hour work, not much more than that because darwin was ill for all his life. you must have read his achievements. every day you spend an hour in reading 10 useful pages, then you will read more than 3650 pages every year. in 30 years you will have read 110,000 pages.my fellow students, reading 110,000 pages will make you a scholar. but it will take you an hour to read three kinds of small-sized newspapers and it will take you an hour and a half to play four rounds of mahjian pieces. reading small-sized newspapers or playing mahjian pieces, orworking hard to be a scholar? its up to you all.henrik ibsen said, it is your greatest duty to make yourself out.studying is then as tool as casting. giving up studying will destroy yourself.i have to say goodbye to you all. your alma mater will open her eyes to see what you will be in 10 years. goodbye!内容仅供参考。
