1. Do you like to watch the sky? How often? Why?

Yes, I love watching the sky. It’s really relaxing to just sit on my apartment balcony and watch the colors change. Actually I don’t have a lot of free time since I’m usually busy with work and study,but every so often I sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view.

2. Do you prefer the sky in the morning or at night?

Um…I definitely prefer the sky at night. I think sunrises are gorgeous, but I like stars more. At night the stars come out, you can enjoy the dark sky full of flashing stars. It’s very relaxing to see the night sky and it’s just so beautiful to look at.

3. Is there a good place to look at the sky where you live?

Well, I live in the city, so things are pretty crowded. But you know, I live in an apartment with a balcony, so luckily, I can go out and look at the sky on my balcony. Sometimes the view is great,especially during the sunset. The whole sky turns red and it’s really beautiful.

4. Do you know anything about stars or planets?

Well, I don’t know a lot about stars and planets, but I still remember some things about the solar system. When I was in middle school, my physics teacher taught me that kind of knowledge. Like I know the sun is the nearest star to us, and there are eight planets in the solar system, including

the earth.

5. Does your school have courses about stars and planets? (5-8 月新高频题)

Yes, it does! I think those courses are super interesting. Astronomy is definitely a cool subject. My friends who study it say that the courses are great. Maybe I’ll take one someday.

6. Can you see the moon and stars at night where you live?

Well, it’s really hard. I live in the city, and there’s a lot of light pollution in the sky. So sometimes that makes it hard to see the stars. But you can usually see the moon. It’s really nice. I love looking at the night sky and admiring the view; it really helps me relax.
