之所以拟定这个题目是因为以下三个原因：一是当前我们大多数农村英语教师教得很辛苦，学生学得很累，但英语成绩和城市初中的比起来总是悬殊很大。
学生在英语学习的道路上往往似“无头苍蝇”，撞得头破血流，伤痕累累，但成效却很低：初一上期虽兴趣盎然，下期就只能在及格分数边缘徘徊；初二就几乎不能及格了；初三就心灰意冷，绝不想学英语了。
二是我在这16年的英语教学生涯中面对上述问题，个人觉得主要是我们没有解决好学生刚开始学习英语的自主学习能力培养问题，所以我自己一直就在尝试结合我校的实际在七年级进行了一些培养学生英语自主学习能力培养来解决上述问题，有一些真实的感悟。

关键词:自学；英语学习；重要性；方法学习者自主(Learner autonomy)是指学习者自我管理学习的能力(Holec,1981),也被定义为“学习者独立做出选择的能力和意愿”(Littlewood,1996),能力是指具备为自己的学习做出选择的知识和实现这个选择所需的技巧;意愿是指为自己的选择承担责任所需要的动机和信心.因此学习者自主既是一种学习态度,也是一种独立学习能力.有时,学习者自主也被称作自主学习.为区别起见,本文中自主学习用来指为培养学习者自主而进行的活动.在外语教学中提倡自主学习,就是鼓励学习者最大程度地为自己的学习负起责任,对学什么和如何学做出决策,并且在学习中不断反思、调整,努力实现自己的目标,直至形成终身学习的能力.有学者认为,当语言学习者能够自己决定学习目标、选择达到目标的方式并可以自己评价时就能产生内在学习兴趣,从而增强学习动力和提高语言产出.(Ellis,1997;Holec,1987;Dickinson,1987.)从已发表的有关文献看,关于中国大学生的自主学习实践,王笃勤(2005)、张彦君(2004:54-61)和何晓东(2005)通过“元认知知识和元认知策略训练”来培养学生自主学习能力,都汇报在实验终时实验班的成绩和自主能力有提高,或者态度和行为有所变化,但是对过程中的具体问题并未提及.高鹏、张学忠(2005)和彭金定(2002)主要讨论了自主式课堂教学活动和教师引导采取的各项“体现学习者自主”的措施,教师干预的比例还是比较大,学生自我决策的范围有限.通过上述分析可以发现,在自主学习中做到坚持不懈并不容易.在没有教师硬性规定的情况下,自主学习的频率在很大程度上依赖学生的毅力.能否保持频率受到学习者内部因素和外部环境的影响.内部因素如惰性、信心不足,外部因素如其他学习活动占据时间多、娱乐、学习资料缺乏等等都会阻碍.事实上,持之以恒的过程是艰苦的,如果一个人达到目的的愿望非常强烈,面对各种困难能积极解决,并且意志力较强,那么即便外部环境存在不利因素,他也能排除干扰,坚持学习.相反,没有毅力的人则很难在自主学习中维持下去.可以说,学习者的毅力是决定自主学习成败的必要条件,坚持不懈努力的人更容易取得成就.对我们许多学生来说,要想自主学习富有成效,毅力依然是一大考验.设定目标明确就有了一个方向,能引导学习者针对目标集中时间和精力克服困难.同时也是一个自我评估的参照,便于学习者观察到进步,因此而产生的激励作用,对坚持下去相当重要.努力坚持明确的目标也是自主学习成功的关键.这也验证了Ponton(1999)和Derrick(2001)的论点,前者把是否指向目标作为定义自主学习主动性的行为,后者则认为目标的维持是衡量自主学习持久力的组成部分.解决问题的主动性和能力影响着自主学习的成效.事实上,实现目标的过程就是克服障碍的过程,有了目标,有了毅力,还必须有能力处理各种困难情况.Confessore91992)称之为应对能力.Ponton(1999)还认为,是否积极解决问题,坚持克服障碍表现了自主学习中主动性的强弱.也就是说,只有积极应对可能出现的各种复杂场面,主动解决阻碍自己的各种困难,才能达到预想的目标.英语自学在高职学习中的重要性（一）兴趣是高职学生自学英语的源动力爱因斯坦有句名言：“兴趣是最好的老师。

大学生英语自主学习论文(共3篇)第一篇：英语阅读网络自主学习一、调查结果及分析（一）大学生网络应用情况调查结果显示，98%的学生网龄都在一年以上。
76%的学生上网频繁，100%的大学生都上网。
并且大学生的网上活动具有多样化的特点。
其中85%的学生上网是为了休闲放松（包括社交、购物、游戏），其余15%的学生进行学习方面的活动。
不过只有15.15%的学生通过网络进行英语阅读的学习。
综合来讲，虽然大学生对网络的利用率较高，但利用其进行学习的积极性却不高，究其原因可能有以下几点：一方面，大学生普遍对英语阅读学习不感兴趣，可能是自身基础方面的原因，在不需要为了高考而学习的情况下，逐渐降低了对提升自身英语水平的要求，因此学习积极性不高。
另一方面，网络中娱乐休闲方面资源丰富。
网络本身所具有的强大的娱乐休闲功能，致使学生们在无人监督的情况下，趋向于休闲娱乐，而不是进行学习方面的活动。
（二）大学生英语阅读网络自主学习情况为了解大学生英语阅读网络自主学习的基本情况，我们对大学生英语阅读的兴趣、动机、频率、能力等方面进行调查。
调查结果显示大多数学生一直进行对英语阅读的学习且依赖于纸质阅读。
这一现象说明多数学生还是希望为提升自己的英语阅读水平而努力，对英语阅读的学习有主动的意识。
在对学生学习动机的调查中，我们发现58.25%的学生依然是以应付考试为目的进行英语阅读的学习，只有少数学生是出于兴趣以及为了满足自己的求知欲而进行的学习。
这一现象在一定水准上说明：目前大学生普遍对英语阅读网络自主学习缺乏兴趣，在平时的社会生活中意识不到英语这一语言的重要性，因此学习英语的能动性不高。
另一方面则说明了大学生们的自主学习能力较弱，自主学习意识薄弱。
另外，38%的学生表示自己的英语阅读能力与高中相比并未提升，另有超过一半的学生表示自己的英语阅读水平一般。
造成这一现象的原因可能有以下几个方面：第一，缺乏学习动机。
在高中时期，有碍于高考压力，学生们都坚持着对英语的学习，有意识的提升听、说、读、写各个方面的能力。

英语课文自主学习论文
1．图书漂流活动
我校展开了每学期每人10本课外书阅读的“图书漂流活动”。
我们
选定了适合本校学生水平的外研版《书虫》手绘本、朗文《书虫》中
英双语两种图书作为学生日常泛读的材料。
由学校图书馆统一为学生
购买。
同时，学校出资为每班购置一个图书漂流箱。
根据班级学生数量，在每班的图书漂流箱里面按比例放置10-20本书，每个漂流箱在
每班停留两周，依次漂流到下一个班级。
由学生在自己的课余时间实
行自由阅读。
期间，教师不布置任何与应试考题相关的任务，而是让
学生每人准备一个美词、美句的积累本。
在阅读过程中自主摘抄不会
的单词、喜欢的句子或者台词。
这种方式的阅读，让学生在自由放松
的状态下享受阅读本身的乐趣。
活动启动后，学生立刻被书中短小的
故事、有趣的对话吸引。
抓住这个契机，我们隔周组织学生实行多种
形式的交流反馈活动。
具体的反馈方式有美句赏析、台词比赛、剧本
改编、戏剧表演。
学生们大胆创新，戏剧表演由选择原文中的台词，
变成了改编剧本。
每次，师生都非常期待小组的戏剧创新。
我们设立
了最佳编剧奖，以此鼓励学生的应用和创新。
每学期期末，在学生完成了10本书的阅读之后，展开泛读竞赛作为
此活动的一个结束展示。
以初一年级为例，共有10个班，每个班有6
个学习小组，教师指定每班负责一本书，每个小组针对分到的书目设
计一道细节问题，全年级一共60道题，分别写到纸条上，折好，放在
一个抽签箱里。
学生们主动报名参赛，一题定输赢，输的被淘汰，赢
了的继续抽取问题实行作答，直至最后一个胜出者。
在竞赛中脱颖而
出的学生，就是泛读状元。
图书漂流活动让学生体验了英语的应用。
不但保证了英语的课外阅读量，还培养了学生英语阅读的兴趣和水平，更重要的是在整个过程中，学生通过自主学习，主动查词，向教师、
字典、网络寻求协助，形成了自主学习的习惯，提升了语言的使用水平。
上学期期末复习时，我们展开了第一届“我行我秀”英语课文诵读比赛。
比赛内容是教材英语课文。
要求学生们在熟练背诵课文后，以演讲、表演的形式把它展示出来。
不同于往常只选拔优秀生的比赛形式，我们这次活动是全员参与的。
为了鼓励学生积极参与，并体会到成功
的快乐，本次比赛采取了分层设计参赛内容的方式。
学生根据水平分
成三组。
强手组的学生，背诵整本书的课文，赛前实行抽签决定诵读
篇目；中等组学生，背诵第二单元的文段；英语学习稍弱的学生，可
自选参赛篇目。
这种设置既保证了对优秀生的选拔，又给中等生和学
习相对薄弱的学生提供了展示的舞台，实现了人人参与、人人体验的
目的。
本次活动的特色之二是鼓励个人参赛，也鼓励小组表演。
在学生中，
存有一些缺乏自信心、不敢展示的同学。
针对这种情况，我们特意设
置了小组合作诵读。
没有自信的学生能够寻求一个好搭档，自己承担
任务量相对轻松的对话句子或者文段。
“我行我秀”英语诵读活动源
于课本又高于课本，给学生们单调的复习生活增添了一抹亮色。
同时，增强了学生的自信心和英语学习兴趣。
通过改革尝试，我们发现死气沉沉的课堂逐步变得生动起来，学生们
以小组为单位全员参与、展示、合作、探究，逐渐变得能够大胆、大声、大方地积极表达，能够主动的学习。
我们感到改变教与学的方式，从学生的角度去思考、设计，将课堂还给学生，学生的学习水平一定
能培养起来。
