University is a crucial period in our lives, a time when we embark on a journey of self-discovery, intellectual growth, and personal development. It is a time when we are no longer confined to the four walls of our homes, but are exposed to a world of diverse cultures, ideas, and experiences. In this speech, Iwill discuss the importance of university education, the challenges we may face, and the strategies we can adopt to make the most of our timein university.First and foremost, university education is of paramount importance in our lives. It is the foundation upon which we build our future careers and personal growth. In today's rapidly changing world, knowledge is power, and university education equips us with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in our chosen fields. Moreover, university is a place where we can explore our interests, develop critical thinking skills, and cultivate our personalities. It is a place where we can learn from our mistakes, embrace challenges, and become better individuals. However, the road to success is not without its challenges. University life can be overwhelming at times, with numerous academic and personal responsibilities. We may face difficulties in managing our time, dealing with stress, and balancing our social lives. Moreover, we may encounter discrimination, stereotypes, and social pressures, which can hinder our growth and development. Despite these challenges, we must remember that they are opportunities for us to learn, grow, and become stronger individuals. To make the most of our university years, we need to adopt a proactive approach. Here are some strategies that we can follow:1. Set clear goals: We should define our long-term and short-term goals, both academically and personally. This will help us stay focused and motivated throughout our university life.2. Time management: We need to develop effective time management skills to ensure that we allocate sufficient time for our studies, socialactivities, and personal development. This includes prioritizing tasks, setting deadlines, and avoiding procrastination.3. Seek support: We should not hesitate to seek help when needed. This can be from professors, teaching assistants, friends, or family members. Building a strong support network is crucial for our success in university.4. Embrace diversity: University is a melting pot of cultures, ideas, and experiences. We should embrace this diversity and learn from others, broadening our perspectives and enhancing our understanding of the world.5. Develop critical thinking skills: We should question, analyze, and evaluate information to develop critical thinking skills. This will enable us to make informed decisions and become independent thinkers.6. Stay healthy: Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is essential for our overall well-being. This includes regular exercise, a balanced diet, and adequate sleep.7. Be proactive: We should take the initiative to seek out opportunities for personal and academic growth. This may involve participating in extracurricular activities, joining clubs, or volunteering in the community.8. Cultivate resilience: We should learn to bounce back from setbacks and failures. Resilience is a key trait that will enable us to overcome challenges and achieve our goals. As we embark on this journey of university life, let us remember that we are not alone. We have each other, our professors, and our families to support us. Let us strive to be the best versions of ourselves, both academically and personally. Let us embrace the challenges, learn from our mistakes, and grow as individuals. In conclusion, university is a unique and transformative period in our lives. It is a time when we can learn, grow, and become better individuals. We can take the mysterious, hazy future and carve out of it anything that we can imagine, just as a sculptor carves a statue from a shapeless stone. We are all in the position of the farmer. If we plant a good seed, we reap a good harvest. If our seed is poor and full of weeds, we reap a useless crop. If we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all.I want the future to be better than the past. I don’t want it contaminated by the mistakes and errors with which history is filled. We should all be concerned about the future because that is where we will spend the remainder of our lives. The past is gone and static. Nothing we can do will change it. The future is before us and dynamic. Everything we do will affect it. Each day brings with it new frontiers, in our homes and in our business, if we only recognize them. We are just at the beginning of the progress in every field of human endeavor.[参考译文]“我们正在读一本书的第一章第一行,这本书的页数是无限的。

Today my topic is “Tomorrow will be better. ”China born and China bred, I love China very much. I’m proud thatI havegot the beautiful yellow skin, black eyes and black hair. I’m alsoproud that Ispeak the most beautiful language in the world——Chinese. When I heard thatChina, our motherland, would have a chance to hold the20__ Olympic Games, Ifelt very happy and excited, and I hoped I could dosomething useful to buildChina into a beautiful and energetic country. In the 21st century, the environment is becoming more and moreimportant,so we have "Green Olympic" as a slogan. Of course a slogan isjust a goal. Themost important thing is that we should do some things tomake it true. Such assorting the trash, saving the energy and so on. Weare still students now, so wecan't do anything really big, but if everybodydoes something good for ourenvironment, we could make our motherland morebeautiful. In fact, the things we can do are easy. Like not littering used batterieseverywhere, sorting the trash that we want to throw away, andalso protectingthe animals and plants around us.Luckily, I had a chance to take part in an activity, that is, we planted5trees everybody in our campus. My classmates and I worked very hard.Thisactivity is not only about planting trees, but also contributing to ourenvironment. Look at the trees, I believe, tomorrow there will be moretrees andflowers standing in our campus and giving Chinese people a beautifulenvironment. We are all Chinese people, living on the earth. We have only onemotherland——China, just like we have only one earth. If we don'tbeautify ourenvironment, who will? Good environment depends on good human consciousness. Weshould say that protecting our surroundings is not easy, that's why I'm standinghere to summon people do it.If we do this from the bottom of our hearts tomorrow, China will bemorebrilliant, it will have blue skies, white clouds and cleaner rivers.Who doesn'twant China to become more and more beautiful? If we do our best, tomorrow willbe better!Thank you for your listening! Thank you all!大学生经典励志英语演讲稿 (3) We are the world ,we are the future!Someone said “we are reading the first verse of the first chapterof abook, whose pages are infinite”. i don’t know who wrote these words, but i’vealways liked them as a reminder that the future can be anythingwe want it tobe. we are all in the position of the farmers. if we planta good seed ,we reapa good harvest. if we plant nothing at all, we harvestnothing at all.We are young. “how to spend the youth?” it is a meaningful question.toanswer it, first i have to ask “what do you understand by the wordyouth?” youthis not a time of life, it’s a state of mind. it’s not amatter of rosy cheeks, red lips or supple knees. it’s the matter of thewill. it’s the freshness of thedeep spring of life.A poet said “to see a world in a grain of sand, and a heaven in awildflower, hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in anhour. severaldays ago, i had a chance to listen to a lecture. i learnta lot there. i’d liketo share it with all of you. let’s show our rightpalms. we can see three linesthat show how our love.career and life is.i have a short line of life. whatabout yours? i wondered whether we couldsee our future in this way. well, let’smake a fist. where is our future?where is our love, career, and life?” tellme.yeah, it is in our hands.it is held in ourselves. We all want the future to be better than the past. but the future cangobetter itself. don’t cry because it is over, smile because it happened.from thepast, we’ve learnt that the life is tough, but we are tougher.we’ve learnt thatwe can’t choose how we feel, but we can choose whatabout it. failure doesn’tmean you don’t have it, it does mean you shoulddo it in a different way.failure doesn’t mean you should give up, it doesmean you must try harder. As what i said at the beginning, “we are reading the first verse ofthefirst chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”. the past has gone.nothingwe do will change it. but the future is in front of us. believethat what wegive to the world, the world will give to us. and from todayon, let’s be theowners of ourselves, and speak out “we are the world,we are the future.”大学生经典励志英语演讲稿 (4) As we all know, "Failure is the mother of success." But few peoplecanreally understand what the saying means. In the world, I am sure thatno onedare say he hasn't met any trouble all his life. So we must facefailure. Infact, failure is not fearful, but important thing is how toface it correctly.Facing failure, people will never take their fate lyingdown. They will try theirbest to work harder and harder until at last theysucceed. Not being courageous to face setbacks, people have no chance to enjoythepleasure of success. So they have nothing to do but feel sad and emptyall dayand all night. In fact, they lose the chance of succethemselves. My friend, whenever in trouble, please remember, "Failure is the motherof success."you can do it !you could be the one!whatever trouble you met howterribleit was,you just think that all will be all right, there is no thingsisimportance in the world.please believe youself.if you often complainof theterrible thigs you suffe in the trouble,so you can not happy andhave a newlife.so your life's golf will be not clearly.your life won't becomemeaningfully.you must have the surely mind, and do it by theplan .nobody dontlike confident people, the most importance point isconfident.when you have it,everything you do it will be succeful!大学生经典励志英语演讲稿 (5)I enter tile university after years of hard study and preparation. But life in the university is not as satisfactory as what I had expected.I become lazy and don't want to study.I become silcent. I become puzzled.I don't know what I can do in the future. Then I become unhappy.Four years in the university is only a short period when compared mywhole lifetime. Now it has passed a half. In this year, many people ,suchas my parents,my friends, ask me what I want to do and tell me to map outa plan for my life. I don't want to follow their suggestion, and I wantto go my style. So I think carefully. I have been a young volunteer(志愿者) for five years. It's very happy and significant. Then I have a dream.Iwant to join the University Student Volunteers Go West Programe. I thinkI can be a teacher in the west.I want to try my best to help them and helpme. I want to see the world cearly. Now I can't reach its demand and it'svery diffcult, but I will work hard in the next two years. There is an oldsaying"where there is a will, there is a way.(有志者事竟成)"I think mydream can come ture. Now in the university I mature, and in the universityI prepare for the real world. At last,I want to say to everybody"Hlod fast to your dreams,no matterhow big or small they are.The path to dreams may not be smooth and wide, evensome sacrifices are needed. But hold on to the end,you can find there isno geater happiness than making your dream come ture."译文:我进入瓦大学经过多年的艰苦学习和准备。

Good morning! Today, I stand before you as a college student, eager to share with you some thoughts and inspirations that have been guiding me through my journey. The title of my speech is "Strive for Excellence: The Path to Success."Firstly, let me express my heartfelt gratitude to all the teachers, parents, and friends who have supported and encouraged me throughout my college life. Without their guidance, I would not have been able to reach this point. Therefore, I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their unwavering belief in me.As college students, we are at a critical stage of our lives, where we are preparing ourselves for the future. The world is filled with opportunities and challenges, and it is up to us to seize them and turn them into success. In this speech, I will discuss some key elements that contribute to achieving excellence and success in our college years and beyond.1. Set Clear GoalsThe first step towards success is to set clear and achievable goals. Goals give us direction and motivation, and they help us stay focused on our path. In college, it is essential to define what you want to achieve academically, professionally, and personally. Ask yourself: What do I want to study? What career do I aspire to? What values do I want to uphold?By setting specific goals, you can create a roadmap for your future. Remember, goals should be realistic, yet challenging enough to push you out of your comfort zone. As you work towards achieving these goals, you will develop a sense of purpose and direction.2. Embrace ChallengesChallenges are inevitable in life, and they can be a source of growth and learning. As college students, we should embrace challenges rather than shy away from them. When faced with obstacles, ask yourself: What can I learn from this experience? How can I overcome this challenge?By adopting a positive mindset, you can turn challenges into opportunities. Remember, the road to success is never smooth, and it requires resilience and determination. When you face difficulties, donot lose sight of your goals. Instead, use them as a stepping stone to reach new heights.3. Cultivate a Growth MindsetA growth mindset is the belief that abilities and intelligence can be developed through dedication and hard work. Carol Dweck, a renowned psychologist, introduced this concept, and it has since been widely accepted in the field of education. By adopting a growth mindset, youcan unlock your full potential and achieve excellence. In college, you will encounter various subjects and disciplines. Some may seem difficult or unfamiliar at first, but with a growth mindset, you can learn and improve. Embrace the process of learning, and do notbe afraid to ask for help when needed. Remember, success is not about being perfect; it is about continuous improvement.4. Develop Time Management SkillsTime management is a crucial skill that can make or break your college experience. With so many responsibilities and activities, it is easy to become overwhelmed. To succeed, you must prioritize tasks, set deadlines, and allocate time effectively.Start by creating a schedule and sticking to it. Use tools such as planners, calendars, and apps to help you stay organized. Remember to allocate time for studying, extracurricular activities, and relaxation. By managing your time wisely, you can achieve a balance between academic success and personal well-being.5. Build a Strong Support NetworkSuccess is not achieved in isolation. Surround yourself with supportive and like-minded individuals who can inspire and motivate you. Your friends, family, professors, and mentors can provide valuable guidance and encouragement.Build relationships that are based on trust, respect, and mutual growth. Collaborate with others, and do not hesitate to seek advice when needed.A strong support network can help you navigate through challenges and achieve your goals.6. Stay Committed to Your ValuesAs you pursue success, it is essential to stay true to your values. Your beliefs and principles should guide your actions and decisions. Remember, success is not just about achieving personal goals; it is also about making a positive impact on others. In college, you will encounter various opinions and ideologies. Stay grounded in your values, and do not let external pressures sway you from your path. By staying committed to your values, you can lead afulfilling and meaningful life.In conclusion, the road to success is paved with hard work, determination, and a strong mindset. As college students, we have the potential to achieve great things, but it requires dedication and perseverance. By setting clear goals, embracing challenges, cultivatinga growth mindset, developing time management skills, building a strong support network, and staying committed to our values, we can strive for excellence and achieve success.Let us not forget that success is a journey, not a destination. It is about the process of growth and learning that we experience along the way. So, let us embrace this journey with enthusiasm, courage, and determination, and make our mark in the world.Thank you for your attention, and may we all strive for excellence and success in our lives.God bless you all!。

While everyone wants to give an impressive debut on the first date, you should avoid wearing something too bizarre to be accepted. If you are still in school, a sportswear can fulfill your purpose. For businessman or grownups, casual clothes are recommended. Never put up your working uniforms,no matter how well you like that Armani suit. It is no work. A few accessories such as a pair of sunglasses or silver loops on the wrist can add up to the romance sphere.Take a bath before dating. And if you like, spray a little perfume, but unless youre sure that he or she likes the smell, dont use ones that are too strong.Watch your manner. Youre no prince of the Scotland nor Cinderella in the legend. Proper manners will ensure a lasting relationship while bad ones scare away your sweetheart. When I was in the secondary school, my dream was to study in my ideal university. And when eventually I got into the university, my dream was to graduate. How pathetic! When we grow up, we dream less and become more realistic. Why? Why do we have to change our dreams, so, so in order to let it be “fulfilled”? Why do we have to surrender to the so-called “reality”? What is the reality actually?Ladies and gentlemen, the reality is not real. It is barrier keeping us from all possible fantasies. Flying, for example, had been a dream to mankind for thousandsof years. A hundred years ago, “man could not fly” was still regarded as the “reality”. Now if that was really the reality, what did the Wright brothers do? How did some of you get to Macao? Only when we believe that the reality is not real can we soar with our dreams. People say that our future is a battle between the reality and our dreams. And if, unfortunately, Mr.Reality wins this war, then I see no future of mankind at all. AIDS will never be curable as this is the reality; People living in the undeveloped countries will suffer from starvation forever as this is the reality; Disputes amongdifferent countries would never be settled as this misunderstandings and intolerance is the reality.Ladies and gentlemen, how many of you have a dream of being able to make a lot of money? Please raise your hands. Oh, quite a number of you! Actually, ladies and gentlemen, this is not a dream, but a task. Every one of us has to make a living, right? Anyway I hope your task will be accomplished. How many of you think hat you have already fulfilled your dream and that you don’t dream anymore? Dear adjudicators, what do you think? C.S.Lewis once said, “You are never too old to dream a new dream. “So for our future, please dream and be unrealistic. Now that I am university student, my goal is to graduate with excellences. But at the same time, I have dream deeply rooted in our future. One day, people living in the areas now sweltering with the horror of wars will be able to sit with their families and enjoy their every moment. One day, from the rich countries are willing to share what they have with those from the poor countries and those from the countries will eventually be able to make their own happy living themselves. One day , different cultures in this age of globalization will coexist with tolerance and the unfriendly confrontations among them will be eliminated. One day, the globe will share the dream with me and we will all contribute to making our dream come true. One day, our dream will defeat the reality!Thank you very much!励志英语演讲稿3Distinguished teachers, dear classmates:Today, the title of my speech is, the teacher study, chasing dreams. In a string of campus, had my mothers footsteps, she had told me a lot of let her remember one time, look a lot of the teachers name, she often inspires me with that kind of gratitude and honor. 大学英语励志演讲稿篇1We all want to believe that we are capable of great feats , of reaching our fullest potential .We need dreams . They give us a vision of a better future .They nourish our spirit ,they represent possibility even then we are dragged down by reality .They keep us going . Most successful people are dreamers .Dreamers are not content with merely mediocre ,because no one ever dreams of going half way .When I was a little girl , I didn’t dream of a life of stryggle and frustration .I dreamed of doing something big and splashy ,something significant .I dreamed big .But now , I become realistic . I have a dream that I can have my own firm one day .Because I major in economic , I can use my special knowledge to run the company .When I have a lot of money , I will donate some of them to help others .My dreams are worthless , my plans are dust , my goals are impossible .All are of no value unless they are followed by action .Action is the food and drink which will nourish my success .If I don’t take any actions to realize my dream , it will become a fantasy .When I was little , I dreamed big .It’s a pity for me that I didn’t do anything to approach it .I always think that when I grow up , I can take some actions .But when I grow up truly , I forget my dream and my ambition .So I will not avoid the tasks of today and charge them to tomorrow .For I know that tomorrow never comes .Let me act now eventhough my actions may not bring success for it is better to act and fail than not be act and flounder .Success will not wait .If I delay , she will become betrothed another and lost ti me forever .I will take every effort to accomplish my dream .i won’t let it become a fantasy , it is just my dream .maybe some years later , it will become true .大学英语励志演讲稿篇2ladies and gentlemen , good afternoon! i’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. today my topic is “youth”. i hope you will like it , and found the importance in your youth so that more cherish it.first i want to ask you some questions:1、do you know what is youth?2、how do you master your youth?youthyouth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. this often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . nobody grows old merely by a number of years . we grow old by deserting our ideals.years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being ‘s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the game of living . in the center of your heartand my heart there’s a wireless station : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .when the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80.thank you!大学英语励志演讲稿篇3Someone said “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”. I don’t know who wrote these words, but I’ve always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want it to be. We are all in the position of the farmers. If we plant a good seed ,we reap a good harvest. If we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all.We are young. “How to spend the youth?” It is a meaningful question. To answer it, first I have to ask “what do you understand by the word youth?” Youth is not a time of life, it’s a state of mind. It’s not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips or supple knees. It’s the matter of the will. It’s the freshness of the deep spring of life.A poet said “To see a world in a grain of sand, and a heaven in a wild flower, hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour. Several days ago, I had a chance to listen to a lecture. I learnt a lot there. I’d like to share it with all of you. Let’s show our right palms. We can see three lines that show how our love.career and life is. I have a short line of life. What about yours? I wondered whether we could see our future in this way. Well, let’s make a fist. Where is our future? Where is our love, career, and life? Tell me.Yeah, it is in our hands. It is held inourselves. We all want the future to be better than the past. But the future can go better itself. Don’t cry because it is over, smile because it happened. From the past, we’ve learnt that the life is tough, but we are tougher. We’ve learnt that we can’t choose how we feel, but we can choose what about it. Fa ilure doesn’t mean you don’t have it, it does mean you should do it in a different way. Failure doesn’t mean you should give up, it does mean you must try harder. As what I said at the beginning, “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a bo ok, whose pages are infinite”. The past has gone. Nothing we do will change it. But the future is in front of us. Believe that what we give to the world, the world will give to us. And from today on, let’s be the owners of ourselves, and speak out “We are the world, we are the future.”看完“大学英语励志演讲稿3篇”的人还看:1.大学英语励志演讲范文2.大学英语课前三分钟演讲稿3.梦想英文励志演讲稿6篇4.3分钟英语励志演讲稿3篇5.大学生励志英语演讲稿。

第1篇Ladies and Gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon/evening. It is a great honor to stand before you today and share my thoughts on a topic that is not only relevant to us as young adults but also crucial for the future of our planet. The topic I wish to discuss is "Embracing the Future: The Role of Young Leaders in Shaping a Sustainable World."As we gather here today, the world is facing unprecedented challenges. Climate change, pollution, inequality, and technological advancements are just a few of the issues that demand our attention and action. It is within this context that I believe the role of young leaders becomes paramount. We, as the younger generation, are the inheritors of this world, and it is our responsibility to ensure that it remains a viable and sustainable place for future generations.Firstly, let us acknowledge the power of youth. We are the most connected generation in history. With the advent of social media and digital platforms, we have the ability to spread awareness, mobilize our peers, and influence public opinion on a global scale. This connectivity has given us a unique opportunity to amplify our voices and bring about change. We can use this power to raise awareness about environmental issues, promote social justice, and advocate for policies thatprioritize sustainability. One of the most pressing issues we face today is climate change. The effects of global warming are becoming increasingly evident, with extreme weather events, rising sea levels, and loss of biodiversity. As young leaders, we have a responsibility to take action and promote sustainable practices. This can be achieved through various means:1. Education: We must educate ourselves and others about the causes and consequences of climate change. By increasing awareness, we can inspire action and promote informed decision-making.2. Innovation: We have the creativity and drive to develop innovative solutions to combat climate change. This can involve researchingrenewable energy sources, developing sustainable agricultural practices, or creating eco-friendly products.3. Advocacy: We must use our voices to advocate for policies that prioritize sustainability. This includes pressuring governments and corporations to reduce their carbon emissions, invest in renewable energy, and protect natural habitats.Moving beyond climate change, we must also address the issue of inequality. The world is divided by class, race, gender, and socio-economic status. As young leaders, we have the power to bridge these divides and create a more equitable society. Here are a few ways in which we can do so:1. Empowerment: We must work to empower marginalized communities by providing access to education, healthcare, and employment opportunities. This will help reduce poverty and inequality.2. Inclusive Leadership: We should strive to be inclusive leaders, ensuring that our teams and organizations reflect the diversity of society. This will not only promote innovation but also foster a more just and equitable world.3. Solidarity: We must stand together in solidarity with those who are affected by inequality. By supporting social justice movements and advocating for the rights of all individuals, we can create a more just and equal society. In addition to addressing these critical issues, we must also embrace the opportunities presented by technological advancements. As young leaders, we are well-equipped to navigate the digital landscape and harness technology for the betterment of society. Here are a few ways in which we can do so:1. Digital Literacy: We must ensure that everyone has access to digital literacy training, enabling them to navigate the digital world and participate in the global economy.2. Technology for Good: We can use technology to address social challenges by developing apps and platforms that promote education, healthcare, and environmental sustainability.3. Collaboration: We must collaborate with other stakeholders, including governments, businesses, and non-profit organizations, to leverage technology for the greater good.As young leaders, we have the potential to shape the future in profound ways. However, it is essential that we do not take this responsibility lightly. We must be proactive, informed, and compassionate. Here are a few tips to help us on our journey:1. Stay Informed: Keep yourself updated on current events, scientific research, and social trends. This will enable you to make informed decisions and contribute meaningfully to the conversation.2. Lead by Example: Demonstrate sustainable practices in your own life, and encourage others to do the same. This can include reducing your carbon footprint, recycling, and conserving resources.3. Build Networks: Connect with like-minded individuals and organizations to share ideas, resources, and support. This will help you amplify your impact and create a ripple effect of positive change.4. Embrace Failure: Understand that failure is a part of the learning process. Do not be afraid to take risks and learn from your mistakes. In conclusion, as young leaders, we have a unique opportunity to shape the future of our world. By addressing the challenges of climate change, inequality, and technological advancements, we can create a sustainable, just, and equitable society. Let us embrace our power, stay informed, and lead with compassion. Together, we can make a difference and leave a lasting legacy.Thank you for your attention, and let us work towards a brighter future.[Applause]第2篇Ladies and Gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon. It is an honor to stand before you today to address the theme of "Embracing the Future: The Role of Young Minds in Shaping a Sustainable World." As young adults, we find ourselves at a critical juncture in history, where the decisions we make today will have a lasting impact on the planet and its inhabitants for generations to come. The world we live in is rapidly changing. Technological advancements, climate change, and global economic shifts are transforming the landscape of our planet. These changes present both challenges and opportunities, and it is up to us, the younger generation, to rise to the occasion and play a pivotal role in shaping a sustainable future.Firstly, let us acknowledge the power of youth. We are the most innovative, adaptable, and resourceful generation in history. Our minds are unburdened by the constraints of traditional thinking, and we have the potential to imagine and create solutions that were once thought impossible. From renewable energy to sustainable agriculture, fromsocial entrepreneurship to environmental activism, young people have been at the forefront of many groundbreaking initiatives.Consider the story of Greta Thunberg, a young climate activist from Sweden. At just 15 years old, she sparked a global movement by striking from school to demand action on climate change. Her courage and determination have inspired millions of young people around the world to join the fight for a sustainable future. This is just one example of how the power of youth can influence global change. Now, let us explore the challenges we face. The environmental crisis is one of the most pressing issues of our time. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has warned that we must take urgent action to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius to avoid catastrophic consequences. As young adults, we are inheritors of this crisis, and it is our responsibility to take action.Education is key. We must be well-informed about the issues at hand and understand the science behind climate change, pollution, and resource depletion. By equipping ourselves with knowledge, we can become informed advocates for change and inspire others to do the same.Innovation is another crucial aspect of our role. We must embrace new technologies and approaches that can help us reduce our ecological footprint and create a more sustainable world. Renewable energy, clean transportation, and sustainable urban planning are just a few examples of the innovative solutions that young people can drive forward.Collaboration is also essential. No single individual or organization can solve the complex problems we face alone. We must work together across borders, cultures, and disciplines to share knowledge, resources, and ideas. By fostering a sense of global citizenship, we can create a more inclusive and sustainable future for all.Furthermore, we must not underestimate the power of advocacy. Young people have the ability to raise awareness and influence public opinion. By using social media, attending protests, and engaging in dialogue with policymakers, we can amplify our voices and push for the changes we want to see.Let us also remember the importance of personal responsibility. As individuals, we can make small changes in our daily lives thatcontribute to a larger movement. This includes reducing our consumption, recycling, and supporting sustainable businesses. Every action, no matter how small, has the potential to create a ripple effect ofpositive change. In conclusion, the future of our planet lies in the hands of young people. We have the potential to be the leaders, innovators, and change-makers that the world needs. By embracing the challenges ahead, we can create a sustainable world that is equitable, prosperous, and resilient. Here are some key points to remember:1. The power of youth: We are innovative, adaptable, and resourceful.2. The challenges we face: Environmental crisis, climate change, and resource depletion.3. Education: We must be well-informed about the issues at hand.4. Innovation: We must embrace new technologies and approaches.5. Collaboration: We must work together across borders and disciplines.6. Advocacy: We must raise awareness and influence public opinion.7. Personal responsibility: We must make small changes in our daily lives.Ladies and gentlemen, the future is not a distant dream; it is a reality that we are shaping right now. Let us rise to the occasion and become the leaders of tomorrow. Together, we can create a sustainable worldthat is worth inheriting.Thank you.第3篇Ladies and Gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon. It is a great honor to stand before you today and share my thoughts on a topic that is not only crucial to our generation but to the future of humanity – embracing the future and the role of young minds in shaping a sustainable world. As we navigate through the complexities of the 21st century, it is clear that the challenges we face are unprecedented. Climate change, economic inequality, political tensions, and technological advancements are just a few of the issues that demand our immediate attention. However, amidst these challenges lies an incredible opportunity: the potential for young people to lead the charge in creating a more sustainable, equitable, and prosperous world.Firstly, let us acknowledge the power of youth. Young people are the most connected, innovative, and adaptable generation in history. With access to information, technology, and global networks, we have thetools to address the world's most pressing issues. Our energy, passion, and idealism are the driving forces behind social movements, technological breakthroughs, and cultural shifts. But what exactly does it mean to embrace the future, and how can we, as young minds, play a pivotal role in shaping it?1. Education and Knowledge:The foundation of any sustainable future lies in education. We must prioritize a comprehensive education system that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of our planet. By equipping ourselves with knowledge, we can better comprehend the challenges we face and contribute meaningful solutions.2. Environmental Stewardship:Climate change is perhaps the most pressing issue of our time. As young people, we have a responsibility to advocate for sustainable practices, promote renewable energy, and protect our natural resources. By taking action in our communities, we can inspire others to join the cause and drive systemic change.3. Social Innovation:The world is in dire need of innovative solutions to address social inequalities. Young entrepreneurs, activists, and leaders are at the forefront of creating sustainable businesses, non-profit organizations, and social enterprises that address the needs of marginalized communities. By leveraging our creativity and entrepreneurial spirit, we can build a more inclusive and equitable society.4. Global Citizenship:In an increasingly interconnected world, it is crucial for us to embrace our role as global citizens. We must learn to understand and appreciate different cultures, languages, and perspectives. By fostering a sense of empathy and cooperation, we can bridge divides and build a more peaceful and harmonious world.5. Leadership and Advocacy:Young people have the power to influence change. By taking on leadership roles in our communities, we can inspire others to take action and hold our leaders accountable. Through advocacy and activism, we can push for policies that promote sustainability, equality, and justice. In conclusion, embracing the future means taking responsibility for the world we want to live in. As young minds, we have the potential to lead the charge in creating a sustainable, equitable, and prosperous world. By focusing on education, environmental stewardship, social innovation, global citizenship, and leadership, we can make a tangible impact on the challenges we face.Let us not underestimate the power of our collective voice and actions. Together, we can build a future that is bright, hopeful, and full of possibilities. It is time for us to step up, take charge, and shape the world we want to see.Thank you.。

大学生励志英文演讲稿5篇Speech 1: Dare to DreamDear fellow students,It gives me great pleasure to address all of you today on the topicof Dare to Dream. We all have dreams and aspirations. But the sad truth is that most of us give up on them too easily. We are afraid to take risks, afraid of failure, afraid of what others might think of us.But as college students, you are at the cusp of a new journey – a journey of self-exploration, self-discovery, and self-actualization. This is the time to dare to dream, to take risks, and to believe in yourself. We all have a purpose in life, and it’s different for each one of us. The question is, are we willing to take the first step towards achieving it? Are we willing to put in the hard work, the dedication, and the perseverance required to make our dreams a reality? Henry David Thoreau once said, “Go confidently in the directionof your dreams! Live the life you’ve imagined.”So, let us all dare to dream, and let us have the courage to take action to make those dreams a reality. Let us believe in ourselves, our abilities, and our potential for greatness.I urge all of you to seize this moment, to set your sights high, andto never give up on your dreams. Because with hard work, dedication, and the right attitude, anything is possible.Thank you.Speech 2: Never Stop LearningDear fellow students,It is an honor for me to speak to you today on the topic of Never Stop Learning. As college students, we are all here to pursue knowledge. But what happens after we graduate? Are we going to stop learning? Or are we going to continue to challenge ourselves and grow as individuals? The truth is, success is not just about achieving our academic goals. It’s about being a lifelong learner. It’s about having an insatiable hunger for knowledge and a thirst for new experiences.Learning doesn’t stop when we graduate. It is a continuous journey, and one that we should embrace. We need to be proactive in seeking out new opportunities to learn and grow. We need to be curious, open-minded, and willing to take risks.Whether it’s taking up a new hobby, learning a new language, or pursuing a higher degree, we need to keep expanding our horizons and pushing the boundaries of our comfort zones.Albert Einstein once said, “Intellectual growth should commence at birth and cease only at death.”So, let us all commit ourselves to never stop learning. Let us continue to challenge ourselves, to seek out new knowledge and experiences, and to grow as individuals.Because when we stop learning, we stop living.Thank you.Speech 3: The Power of ResilienceDear fellow students,It is my pleasure to speak to you today on the topic of The Power of Resilience.Life is full of challenges. We all face obstacles and setbacks at some point in our l ives. It’s how we respond to those challenges that defines us.Resilience is the ability to bounce back from adversity, to persevere in the face of difficulties, and to come out stronger on the other side.As college students, we are at a critical juncture in our lives. We are beginning to forge our own paths in the world, and we will undoubtedly face our fair share of challenges along the way.But it’s important to remember that failure is not a setback, it’s an opportunity to learn and grow. We need to embrace failure as a necessary part of the learning process, and not let it defeat us.The road to success is never easy, but it’s always worth it. We need to develop a resilient mindset, one that sees obstacles as opportunities, and setbacks as a chance to learn and improve. As Winston Churchill once said, “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”So, let us all embrace the power of resilience. Let us not be afraid to fail, but let us be determined to get back up and keep going.Because when we are resilient, nothing can stop us from achieving our goals.Thank you.Speech 4: The Importance of Giving BackDear fellow students,I feel privileged to speak to you today about The Importance of Giving Back.As college students, we have been given so much – an education, opportunities for personal growth and development, and access to a wealth of resources and knowledge. But we can’t take these things for granted. We owe it to ourselves and our community to use what we have been given to make a positive difference in the world.Giving back can take many forms, whether it’s volunteering our time, donating to charity, or simply spreading kindness and compassion wherever we go.When we give back, we not only make a difference in the lives of others, but we also become better people ourselves. We develop empathy, compassion, and a sense of purpose that brings meaning to our lives. As Mahatma Gandhi once said, “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself i n the service of others.”So, let us all make a commitment to giving back. Let us use our education and resources to make a positive impact in the world, and to become the change we wish to see.Thank you.Speech 5: Embracing DiversityDear fellow students,I am honored to speak to you today on the topic of Embracing Diversity. As college students, we come from different backgrounds, cultures, and experiences. We are all unique, and our differences are what make us stronger as a community. But unfortunately, diversity is often seen as a source of conflict and division, rather than a source of strength. We need to shift our mindset from one of intolerance and prejudice to one of open-mindedness and inclusion. We need to recognize and celebrate the differences that make us who we are, and learn from each other’s perspectives. When we embrace diversity, we create a community that is stronger, richer, and more vibrant. We learn to appreciate and respect each other’s differences, and we create a culture o f acceptance and inclusivity. As Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “I have a dream that one day… little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.”So, let us all commit ourselves to embracing diversity. Let us learn from each other’s differences, and create a community that is inclusive, accepting, and united.Thank you.。

I can meet many superstars as well. I have lots of dreams.I think my dreams can come true one day, because there’s an old saying “where there is a will, there is a way.”励志英语演讲稿篇3Youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years . We grow old by deserting our ideals.Years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . Worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .Whether 60 of 26 , there is in every human being ?s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what?s next and the joy of the game of living . In the center of your heart andmy heart there?s a wireless station : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .When the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80.That?s all !Thank you!励志英语演讲稿篇4Good morning !my great pleasure to share my dream with you today. my dream is to become a teacher....As the whole world has its boundaries, limits and freedom coexist in our life. I don’t expect complete freedom, which is impossible. I simply have a dream that supports my life.I dream that one day, I could escape from the deep sea of thick schoolbooks and lead my own life. With my favorite fictions, I lie freely on the green grass, smelling the spring, listening to the wind singing, breathing the fresh and cool air and dissolve my soul in nature at last. Simple and short enjoyment can bring me great satisfaction.I dream that one day the adults could throw their prejudice of comic and cartoon away. They could keep a lovely heart that can share sorrow and happiness with us while watching cartoon or doing personal things. That’s the real communication of heart to heart.I have the belief that my dreams should come true. I am looking forward to some day coming when I am like a proud eagle, which flies to the blue and vast sky.励志英语演讲稿篇5Compared with the forty year old shabby dormitory I am living in now, theone I lived in for three years in high school was heaven: three students sharedone brand new suite with air conditioners and a bathroom. In three years time we changed it thoroughly:the color of the floor turnedfrom bright pink into muddy gray, and the closet a hive of insects proliferatingamong piles of rotten fruit. And our masterpiece was the bathroom, a never dryingswamp which served as the habitat of various kinds of mold, and even rodents, rats would occasionally take the trouble to pay us a visit, and.., all three ofus felt like sobbing when we at last had to say good bye to our lovely filthydormitory. Maybe it is because that the dormitory had changed us as well as wedchanged it.The first lesson our dormitory taught us was to look after ourselves.Frankly speaking, we were not good students at all. I still remember theunderwear that was soaked in soapy water for one and a half years before it wasfinally thrown away. Almost each of the boys dormitories had graduallydeveloped its own unique "fragrance" usually a mixture of rotten fruit, unwashedsocks, stunk towels and some junk food. We could tell one dormitory from anotherby sniffing instead of looking. Our tolerance towards untidiness wasamazing. However, in spite of all this, we really did make some progress. Bit bybit, we started to wash dirty clothes before they stunk, cleaned the garbage binwhen it could hold no more trash, we even used brushes in a not-sc-successfulattempt to refurbish the floor. The point was that we were not obeying anyorder, we did every bit of the cleaning for ourselves, because we wanted to livein a better place. Though nothing we did could be called anachievement, it wasthe first time we fully bore the consequences of our behavior, and took theresponsibility. Thus it was not surprising that I often found myself the only one to cleanup my university dormitory which looked no better than a garbage bin when myroommates felt normal of it.When talking about our dormitory life, and probably all the dormitory life,we should never leave out one thing. This was what we called "bed talks". Thoughit was considered "illegal,"there was nothing to stop us from deliberatelystarting a heated discussion right after lights were out. It was our favoriteand the only way of ending our day, and we were as punctual for it as ourparents are for work. What was the most common topic?Girls, of course! Whatother topics were there for three energetic adolescent males lying comfortablyin bed? We judged them, ranked them, argued over them night after night withoutfeeling the slightest sense of boredom for three whole years. Were we maniacs? Who is not a maniac at eighteen?励志英语演讲稿篇6Nick, a 25-year-old Australian, was born without limbs. He used to be madefun of for looking like a monster. Everything seemed impossible to him. Unluckily, she was injured twice, though she still wanted to finish thegame, her body situation did not allow her to do so. Her insistence moved somany audience, they gave her the biggest applause. The power of insistence is great, it will help you set free your potentialand keep move on. Just for the players, they will face all kinds of incidencesnow and then, but the will to insist will make them finish the game. Sometimes, people win the game not because of their excellent skills, but their strongwill. Those who can stick on to the final line will win people’s a pplause. What’s more, when people insist to finish the game, it is the respect thatthey show to their opponents. Their spirit deserves people’s applause.Insistence is a merit, we should keep it, no matter what we do, we must rememberto insist.励志英语演讲稿篇8The first time in life? Then grasp your chance with your perfectperformance on the dating night, by learning the following principle inheart.Dress properly. While everyone wants to give an impressive debut on thefirst date, you should avoid wearing something too bizarre to be accepted. Ifyou are still in school, a sportswear can fulfill your purpose. For businessmanor grownups, casual clothes are recommended. Never put up your workinguniforms,no matter how well you like that Armani suit. It is no work. A fewaccessories such as a pair of sunglasses or silver loops on the wrist can add upto the romance sphere.Take a bath before dating. And if you like, spray a little perfume, butunless youre sure that he or she likes the smell, dont use ones that are toostrong.Watch your manner. Youre no prince of the Scotland nor Cinderella in thelegend. Proper manners will ensure a lasting relationship while bad ones scareaway your sweetheart. And do make sure you do not boast about your fortune, for,not everyone are green addicts. And your way of smiling, or your greatestoath, should neither be "coy" nor "by St. Loy!" after the nun in Chaucer.Be a little sensitive than merely innocent. Do make sure you do not intrudehis or her privacy on the first date. For there maybe something deeply concealedwithin the inner core of every heart, of which the owner doesnt share oftenwith anyone but his intimacy. Finally, wish you good luck. May you get your hearts combined and start anew journey in the miracle of life and love. Stay tuned till a borderline isreached, and keep on through out the whole way.励志英语演讲稿篇9Disabled people are normal people, except that they can not see as much aswe can, or they can not walk as fast as we can. Since they can not see as much,or they can not walk as fast, they need our help.We can immediately do a long list of ways in which we can help them, forinstance, Each student finds some one to help, in the neighborhood or thecommunity. You can help them to cross the road. You can help pushing their wheelchairs. l Set up kind of organization. Collect some money. Use this money tohelp them, to buy them daily necessities, to help their children finishschool. As they are disabled, it is more difficult for them to earn as much as normalpeople do. That’s why they us ually need help in physical things. As they aredisabled, they feel lonely. They think they are not as good as normal people. They easily become lonely, sad, disappointed. They easily lose hope of life. They need help more in spiritual things. They need people to chat with. Theyneed people to encourage them to continue their lives. They need people to getrid of prejudices over them. Now, I would suggest, do whatever we can to helpthem. We can donate our pocket money. We can walk up to help the disabled tocross the street. We can make friends with the disabled by visiting them, bycalling them, by emailing them, by whatever means. However, don’t always thinkwe are better than the disabled. As normal people, we always make normalmistakes. We take it for granted that we can see things while the blind can not. Ifyou know the story about Helen Keller, you will understand why you are wrong. The blind can not see with their bare eyes, but they can see better with theirears. They can see better with their hands. So, help the disabled while youtreat them like normal people. And they are normal people!励志英语演讲稿篇10Good morning/afternoon!First thing first, I gotta say, wow,it's funny thing to be given a chance like that.Trurh be told,I really got a little bit nervous before I stand right here ,so called 'stage fright'.If you look specifically on me .You may find my hands shaking, pretty assembles the guy who suffered from Pakinson's disease, and legs wobbling ,like I caught so-called ball leg. What suprised her most, beyond her wildest imagination, is that almost all the male in this country took their head out of the window.Admittedly,Lucy made a mistake here .The word spitted means Mandy is totally naked to the reason that male looked out of the window. The right sentence shall be,"put your clothing on."The story inspires you to take a careful look on the vast difference between eastern and western culture. The same is true with our life the flavor is created by our choices. If kindness is added to a strange you will have a friend; but if hostility is added, you will have an enemy. I. Graduating from College: A New BeginningDear fellow graduates,I stand before you today as a representative of our graduating class, filled with a mix of gratitude, excitement, and a hint of anxiety about the future that lies ahead. It goes without saying that these past few years have not been easyfor any of us. We have had to face numerous challenges, fromacademic pressures to personal struggles, all while figuring out our place in the world. Yet, here we are today, ready to take on thenext chapter of our lives. We must remember that graduation is not just an end, but a new beginning. We have been given the opportunity to pursue our dreams,to make a difference in the world, and to live a life filled with purpose and fulfillment. As we move forward, we must stay true to ourselves and what webelieve in. We must continue to learn and grow, never ceasing tostrive for excellence in all that we do. We must also seekopportunities to give back to our communities, to invest in othersand make a positive impact on those around us.In closing, I want to leave you with a quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson: "Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where thereis no path and leave a trail." Let us all forge our own paths and leave a mark on the world that will be remembered long after we are gone.Congratulations, class of [year]. The future is bright, and it isours for the taking.II. The Power of Our DreamsDear friends and family,As we gather here today to celebrate the accomplishments of the graduating class, I am reminded of the power of our dreams. Each and every one of us had a dream when we first stepped foot on this campus, and today, we have achieved that dream. But what comes next? What happens now that we have reached our goal?I would argue that we must continue to dream. We must continue toset goals for ourselves, to aim high, and to believe in our own potential. It is only through this constant striving that we will continue to make progress, both personally and as a society. One of the most powerful weapons we have in achieving our dreams is our education. Our time in college has prepared us for thechallenges of the real world, equipped us with the skills we need to succeed, and instilled in us a sense of responsibility for the world around us.But our education will mean nothing if we do not use it to make a positive impact on the world. We must take what we have learned and put it into action, using our talents and abilities to make theworld a better place. In closing, I want to leave you with a quote from Walt Disney: "All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them." Let us all have the courage to pursue our dreams, and to use oureducation and talents to make the world a better place. Congratulations, graduates. The world is waiting for us.III. Embracing Failure: The Key to SuccessDear graduates,As we stand here today, we are all reminded of the many successes we have achieved throughout our time in college. But what about our failures? What about the times we fell short, missed a deadline, or failed an exam?It is easy to dwell on our failures, to feel discouraged and defeated. However, it is important to remember that failure is not the opposite of success; it is a necessary part of the journey. Without failure, we would not learn, grow, or achieve anything worthwhile.Embracing failure is the key to success. It allows us to take risks, to try new things, and to learn from our mistakes. As we moveforward into the next chapter of our lives, we will undoubtedly face many more obstacles and setbacks. But we must not be afraid of failure; rather, we must learn to embrace it and use it as a toolfor growth and improvement.Of course, none of this is easy. It takes courage, determination, and a willingness to persevere even in the face of adversity. But if there is one thing that college has taught us, it is that we are capable of great things if we put our minds to it.In closing, I want to leave you with a quote from Thomas Edison: "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." Let us all embrace failure, and use it as an opportunity to learn, grow, and ultimately succeed in all that we do.Congratulations, class of [year]. The world is waiting for us.IV. The Importance of GratitudeDear graduating class,As we stand here today, looking back on our time in college, I am struck by the immense gratitude I feel for all that we have accomplished together. It is easy to get caught up in the stresses and pressures of daily life, but I believe that a spirit ofgratitude is what truly sets us apart as human beings. When we recognize all that we have to be thankful for, we are ableto approach life with a sense of joy, wonder, and purpose. We are also better able to connect with those around us, to give back toour communities, and to make a positive impact in the world.I would encourage each of us to take a few moments every day to reflect on all that we have to be thankful for. Whether it is the support of our loved ones, the privilege of a college education, or the beauty of the natural world, there is always something to be grateful for.As we move forward into the next chapter of our lives, we must also seek opportunities to give back to others. We must use our talents, abilities, and resources to make a positive impact in the world, whether that be through volunteer work, community service, or simply being there for someone who needs us.In closing, I want to leave you with a quote from Melody Beattie: "Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow." Let us all approach our lives with a spirit of gratitude, and use our gifts and talents to make the world a better place.Congratulations, class of [year]. The future is bright, and we are ready to take on whatever comes our way.V. The Value of Hard WorkDear fellow graduates,As we gather here today to celebrate our accomplishments, I am reminded of the importance of hard work. None of us would be here today without a relentless commitment to our studies, persistent effort, and the ability to persevere even in the face of adversity. We have all faced our fair share of challenges, from difficult exams to long hours in the library. But it is through these challengesthat we have learned to push ourselves, to develop the skills weneed to succeed, and to cultivate a sense of resilience that will serve us well in the future. However, hard work is not just about achieving success for ourselves. It is also about contributing to the world in a meaningful way. We must use the skills and knowledge we have gained through our studies to make a positive impact in the world, to contribute to our communities, and to help those in need.As we move on to the next chapter of our lives, we must rememberthat hard work is not an option; it is a necessity. We must bewilling to put in the time, effort, and dedication required toachieve our goals and make our dreams a reality. In closing, I want to leave you with a quote from Vince Lombardi: "The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have appliedthe best of ourselves to the task at hand." Let us all apply thebest of ourselves to the task at hand, and use our education and talents to make the world a better place.Congratulations, class of [year]. The future is bright, and we are ready for whatever comes our way.。

大学英语励志演讲稿范文(通用10篇)大学英语励志篇1When finishing the high school course, not every student has the chance or ability to go to college. some students choose to seek a job, start their own business or pursue other interest. however, for some students who want to get further education, they choose self-education, self-education is no better than university studies. On the one hand, self-education lacks of a well-defined structure. in the school, the teacher will make some plans for students’ studies; they plan the target, the fulfillment of expectation and assessment of the program. with these, students can know their own flaws, making progress gradually. while self-learners may lose themselves, they have no test, no homework and no exam; it is hard for them to know how to get improved. On the other hand, self-education doesn’t provide the environment which students can learn from each other. college provides students the stage to communicate with others, making friends; students can also have the chance to enhance the ability of team work and readership. those abilities are very important for students, when they are finding a job, they have the advantages.Self-education is a way of gaining knowledge; i prefer to study in college, because i like to communicate with friends. though self-education can’t take place for university studies, we can choose to learn elective courses in that way.大学英语励志演讲稿范文篇2There is an old saying,” haste makes waste.” it is the experience of our ancestors; however, it is correct in many caseseven today.Usually, if you act faster, you can reach your goals earlier. but it isn’t always the case. if you emphasize only on speed but ignore the quality of your work, your effect will be the opposite.Suppose you are preparing for your final examination. there are a lot of exercises to do and many notes to memorize. the fact that you have not enough time makes you very worried. therefore, you have read and write continuously, without rest, without sleep, without relaxation. the result is that your brain is less and less efficient, your process is slower and slower. the situation goes from bad to worse. all your efforts lead to nothing. On the contrary, if you do your preparations with a calculated plan and carry out the plan step by step, your work will be effective. consequently, you will take part in the exams confidently with good preparations.Whatever you do, please remember the saying----haste makes waste. if you understand it and apply it to your study or work, you’ll benefit a lot form it.大学英语励志演讲稿范文篇3Over the past Spring Festival, I got involved in a family dispute. Rightbefore I got home, four satellite channels of CCTV were added to the 14 channelswe had already had. In prime time at night, they all had interesting shows. Therefore, the five of us-my parents, my sisters and I-had to argue over what towatch. Finally, we agreed that we should watch the "most interesting"programme... If we could agree what that was. However, all of us there remember that for a long time after we had TV,there were only one or two channels available. The increase in options revealsan important change in our life: the abundance of choice.Fifteen years ago we all dressed in one style and in one colour. T oday, weselect from a wide variety of designs and shades.Fifteen years ago, we read few newspapers. Today, we read Englishnewspapers like the China Daily and the 21st Century, as well as various Chinesenewspapers.Fifteen years ago, English majors took only courses in language andliterature. Today, we also study Western culture, journalism, businesscommunications, international relations, and computer science. The emergence of choices marks the beginning of a new era in China'shistory; an era of diversity, of material and cultural richness, and an era ofthe rebirth of the Chinese nation.大学英语励志演讲稿范文篇4thank you. thank you, president chen, chairmen ren, vice president chi, vice minister wei. we are delighted to be here today with a very large american delegation, including the first lady and our daughter, who is a student at stanford, one of the schools with which beijing university has a relationship. we have six members of the united states congress; the secretary of state; secretary of commerce; the secretary of agriculture; the chairman of our council of economic advisors; senator sasser, our ambassador; the national security advisor and my chief of staff, among others. i say that to illustrate the importance that the united states places on our relationship with china.i would like to begin by congratulating all of you, the students, the faculty, the administrators, on celebrating the centennial year of your university. gongxi, beida. glorious past is matched by your present sweeping transformation and the even greater promise of yourfuture.just three decades ago, china was virtually shut off from the world. now, china is a member of more than 1,000 international organizations -- enterprises that affect everything from air travel to agricultural development. you have opened your nation to trade and investment on a large scale. today, 40,000 young chinese study in the united states, with hundreds of thousands more learning in asia, africa, europe, and latin america.your social and economic transformation has been even more remarkable, moving from a closed command economic system to a driving, increasingly market-based and driven economy, generating two decades of unprecedented growth, giving people greater freedom to travel within and outside china, to vote in village elections, to own a home, choose a job, attend a better school. as a result you have lifted literally hundreds of millions of people from poverty. per capita income has more than doubled in the last decade. most chinese people are leading lives they could not have imagined just 20 years ago.of course, these changes have also brought disruptions in settled patterns of life and work, and have imposed enormous strains on your environment. once every urban chinese was guaranteed employment in a state enterprise. now you must compete in a job market. once a chinese worker had only to meet the demands of a central planner in beijing. now the global economy means all must match the quality and creativity of the rest of the world. for those who lack the right training and skills and support, this new world can be daunting.in the short-term, good, hardworking people -- some, at least will find themselves unemployed. and, as all of you can see, there have been enormous environmental and economic andhealth care costs to the development pattern and the energy use pattern of the last 20 years -- from air pollution to deforestation to acid rain and water shortage.in the face of these challenges new systems of training and social security will have to be devised, and new environmental policies and technologies will have to be introduced with the goal of growing your economy while improving the environment. everything i know about the intelligence, the ingenuity, the enterprise of the chinese people and everything i have heard these last few days in my discussions with president jiang, prime minister zhu and others give me confidence that you will succeed.as you build a new china, america wants to build a new relationship with you. we want china to be successful, secure and open, working with us for a more peaceful and prosperous world.i know there are those in china and the united states who question whether closer relations between our countries is a good thing. but everything all of us know about the way the world is changing and the challenges your generation will face tell us that our two nations will be far better off working together than apart.the late deng xiaoping counseled us to seek truth from facts. at the dawn of the new century, the facts are clear. the distance between our two nations, indeed, between any nations, is shrinking. where once an american clipper ship took months to cross from china to the united states. today, technology has made us all virtual neighbors. from laptops to lasers, from microchips to megabytes, an information revolution is lighting the landscape of human knowledge, bringing us all closer together. ideas, information, and money cross the planet at the stroke of a computer key, bringing with them extraordinary opportunities tocreate wealth, to prevent and conquer disease, to foster greater understanding among peoples of different histories and different cultures.but we also know that this greater openness and faster change mean that problems which start beyond one nations borders can quickly move inside them -- the spread of weapons of mass destruction, the threats of organized crime and drug trafficking, of environmental degradation, and severe economic dislocation. no nation can isolate itself from these problems, and no nation can solve them alone. we, especially the younger generations of china and the united states, must make common cause of our common challenges, so that we can, together, shape a new century of brilliant possibilities.in the 21st century -- your century -- china and the united states will face the challenge of security in asia. on the korean peninsula, where once we were adversaries, today we are working together for a permanent peace and a future freer of nuclear weapons.on the indian subcontinent, just as most of the rest of the world is moving away from nuclear danger, india and pakistan risk sparking a new arms race. we are now pursuing a common strategy to move india and pakistan away from further testing and toward a dialogue to resolve their differences.in the 21st century, your generation must face the challenge of stopping the spread of deadlier nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons. in the wrong hands or the wrong places, these weapons can threaten the peace of nations large and small. increasingly, china and the united states agree on the importance of stopping proliferation. that is why we are beginning to act in concert to control the worlds most dangerous weapons.in the 21st century, your generation will have to reverse the international tide of crime and drugs. around the world, organized crime robs people of billions of dollars every year and undermines trust in government. america knows all about the devastation and despair that drugs can bring to schools and neighborhoods. with borders on more than a dozen countries, china has become a crossroad for smugglers of all kinds.last year, president jiang and i asked senior chinese and american law enforcement officials to step up our cooperation against these predators, to stop money from being laundered, to stop aliens from being cruelly smuggled, to stop currencies from being undermined by counterfeiting. just this month, our drug enforcement agency opened an office in beijing, and soon chinese counternarcotics experts will be working out of washington.in the 21st century, your generation must make it your mission to ensure that today's progress does not come at tomorrow's expense. china's remarkable growth in the last two decades has come with a toxic cost, pollutants that foul the water you drink and the air you breathe -- the cost is not only environmental, it is also serious in terms of the health consequences of your people and in terms of the drag on economic growth.environmental problems are also increasingly global as well as national. for example, in the near future, if present energy use patterns persist, china will overtake the united states as the world's largest emitter of greenhouse gases, the gases which are the principal cause of global warming. if the nations of the world do not reduce the gases which are causing global warming, sometime in the next century there is a serious risk of dramaticchanges in climate which will change the way we live and the way we work, which could literally bury some island nations under mountains of water and undermine the economic and social fabric of nations.we must work together. we americans know from our own experience that it is possible to grow an economy while improving the environment. we must do that together for ourselves and for the world.building on the work that our vice president, al gore, has done previously with the chinese government, president jiang and i are working together on ways to bring american clean energy technology to help improve air quality and grow the chinese economy at the same time.but i will say this again -- this is not on my remarks -- your generation must do more about this. this is a huge challenge for you, for the american people and for the future of the world. and it must be addressed at the university level, because political leaders will never be willing to adopt environmental measures if they believe it will lead to large-scale unemployment or more poverty. the evidence is clear that does not have to happen. you will actually have more rapid economic growth and better paying jobs, leading to higher levels of education and technology if we do this in the proper way. but you and the university, communities in china, the united states and throughout the world will have to lead the way. (applause.)大学英语励志演讲稿范文篇5Good morning everyone. my name is . today my topic is my college life. i wish i could share my happiness and annoyance i have experienced with you all.Two years ago i came into the city of qinhuangdao andstarted my college life in E&A college, the most memorable journey of my life. i was just a shy and little boy that time. all the things seemed fresh to me: new faces, military training, large library and physics lab etc. i breathed the air of college greedily, but to tell the truth, the air in Qinhuangdao is wonderful. it’s really hard to explain my feelings that time: curious? energetic? in one word, i was really happy that time. And now i am going to be a junior in july. recalling to the two years, i think i have to talk about one thing-----learning. learn how to study independently, learn how to get along with others, learn to love, learn to… oh, there are too much things we have to learn.Comparing with senior high school, college is a rather different place. there aren’t so many people to watch you and guide you how to do something any more, neither are there so many students who share with you one dream. in college, you must think and study yourself, so you have to learn and practice to control yourself. The relationship between boys and girls in college is always love. i fell in love too. that was the second year in college; i fell in love with a girl who is cute and beautiful. i was sweet then. but because i didn’t know how to deal with the relationship, my first love failed at last. bitterness filled my life from then on. i really appreciated that god brought another girl into my life. she is my classmate in senior high s chool. i like to call her “yatou”. in my difficult time, she was with me, relieving me. gradually i found i like to talk to her and being with her is really comfortable. i think i love her and this time i won’t let her go. another relationship in college is friendship. my roommates have lived two years with me. in these years, they forgive my faults, cry with me, laugh withme, play with me… they always stand with me and support me, i have learned a lot from them. i love them all and treasure the friendship with them. That’s my college life. i cherish all i have experienced in college. i love you, my college! That’s all, thank you大学英语励志演讲稿范文篇6Facing this audience on the stage, I have the exciting feeling of participating in the march of history, for what we are facing today is more than a mere competition or contest. It is an assembly of some of China's most talented and motivated people, representatives of a younger generation that are preparing themselves for the coming of a new century.I'm grateful that I've been given this opportunity, at such a historic moment, to stand here as a spokesman of my generation and to take a serious look back at the past 15 years, a crucial period for every one of us and for this nation as well.Though it is only within my power to tell about my personal experience, and only a tiny fragment of it at that, it still represents, I believe, the root of a spirit which has been essential to me and to all the people bred by the past 15 years. In my elementary years, there was a little girl in the CLASs who worked very hard but somehow could never do satisfactorily in her lessons. The teacher asked me to help her, and it was obvious that she expected a lot from me. but as a young boy, restless, thoughtless, I always tried to evade her so as to get more time to enjoy myself. One day before the final exam, she came up to me and said, "Could you please explain this to me? I want very much to dobetter this time. " I started explaining, and finished in a hurry. Pretending not to notice her still confused eyes, I ran off quickly. Nat surprisingly, she again did very badly in the exam. And two months later, at the beginning of the new semester, word came of her death of blood cancer. No one ever knew about the little task I failed to fulfill, but I couldn't forgive myself. I simply couldn't forget her eyes, which seem to be asking, "Why didn't you do a little more to help me, when it was so easy for you? Why didn't you understand a little better the trust placed in you, so that I would not have to leave this world in such pain and regret?"I was about eight or nine years old at that time, but in a way it was the very starting point of my life, for I began to understand the word "responsibility" and to learn to always do my duties faithfully and devotedly, for the implications of that sacred word has dawned on me: the mutual need and trust of people, the co-operation and inter-reliance which are the very foundation of human society.Later in my life, I continued to experience many failures. But never again did I feel that regret which struck me at the death of the girl, for it makes my heart satisfied to think that I have always done everything in my power to fulfill my responsibilities as best I can.As I grew up, changed and improved by this incident and many other similar ones, I began to perceive the changes taking place around me and to find that society, in a way, was in its formative years like myself. New buildings, new commodities and new fashions appear every day. New ideas, new information, new technologies. People can talk with each other from any corner of the earth in a matter of seconds. Society is becoming more competitive.Words like individuality and creativity are getting more emphasis and more people are rewarded for their hard work and efforts. Such is the era in which this generation ,grows and matures.Such is the era in which this generation will take over the nation from our fathers and learn to run it. Yet in the meantime, many problems still exist. We learn that crimes take place in broad daylight with crowds of people looking on and not assisting. We hear that there are still about 1 million children in this country who can't even afford to go to elementary schools while enormous sums of money are being squandered away on dinner parties and luxury cars.We buy shoddy medicines, or merely worthless junk in the name of medicines, that aggravate, rather than alleviate our diseases since money, many people believe, is the most important thing in the world that must be made, even at the expense of morality and responsibility.Such an era, therefore, determines that we are a generation with a keener sense of competition and efficiency and a greater readiness to think critically and act creatively.Such an era, furthermore, demands, that we are a generation with a clear perception of our historical responsibility and an aggressive will to take action and solve the problems. History has long been preparing these qualities in this generation and it is now calling us forward to give testimony to our patriotism and heroism towards this nation and all humanity.Standing here now, I think of the past 15 years of my life as an ordinary student. Probably I'll be an ordinary man for the rest of my life. But this doesn't discourage me any, for I know that with my sense of responsibility and devoted efforts to alwaysstrive, for the best, it's going to be a meaningful and worthwhile life that I will be living.Standing here now, I think of the past 15 years of this nation, which has achieved greatness that inspired millions of people of my age, most of whom will not attain fame or prestige and only a few of whom will be remembered by posterity. But that doesn't discourage us any, because we know that the world watches, the world listens, the world is waiting to see where this nation will be heading in a time of rich opportunities and fierce competition.I can't ever forget that little girl in my CLASS who couldn't had the same opportunities as any of us here to enjoy a wonderful life today and a hopeful world tomorrow. It is the sacred responsibility of this generation to face up to the challenges of the new century and to devote our sweat and blood, our wisdom and passion, to the historic cause of making this nation a greater and happier land for every one of us. We are not going to evade that responsibility. We are going to let people down. And people, far and near, will hear of us. Frost will be brought to their backbones and tears to their eyes when our stories are told and retold, So let us go forth, my fellow members of this luckily chosen generation, and meet the new century in victory and glory.Knowing the Consequences of ChoiceOver the past Spring Festival, I got involved in a family dispute. Right before I got home, four satellite channels of CCTV were added to the 14 channels we had already had. In prime time at night, they all had interesting shows. Therefore, the five of us-my parents, my sisters and I-had to argue over what to watch. Finally, we agreed that we should watch the "most interesting" programme... If wecould agree what that was. However, all of us there remember that for a long time after we had TV, there were only one or two channels available. The increase in options reveals an important change in our life: the abundance of choice.Fifteen years ago we all dressed in one style and in one colour. T oday, we select from a wide variety of designs and shades.I Regain ConfidenceBy Li Jun大学英语励志演讲稿范文篇7尊敬的各位领导老师,亲爱的同学们:大家晚上好!
