学情 分析

本班为高一英语A 层,英语学习主动性较强,但是在写作方面,基础不扎实,大多数同学思维逻辑不清晰,句型单一。但是,学生有一定的课外阅读量,所以学生需要有欣赏文章的意识,养成仿写的习惯,从而进行思维方式和语言表达的借鉴,最终提高自己的综合语言运用能力。 教学 目标

The students will be able to:

1. analyze the structure of three passages.

2. appreciate the ideas and language of three passages .

3. complete a brochure of a city in group.

设计意图

Step1 Leading in 1. Group students by the cities they have traveled in. 2. Ask students to talk about Paris, Venice and New York. Lead into the topic and arise students ’ awareness of how to talk about a city.

Step2 Reading

1. Ask students to read the passages and find out the main idea.

2. Help students analyze the passages.

3. Ask students to talk about sentences which they like best. Make students focus on structures.

Make students focus on language. Step3 Imitating writing 1. Ask students to complete a brochure in groups. 2. Ask students to present their works in class. Ask students to apply strategy of imitating writing

Step4 Home work

Make a brochure of their favorite cities.

Help students consolidate the strategy of imitating writing.
