介绍皇帝的新衣英语作文五年级简短类全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1The Emperor's New ClothesOh boy, let me tell you about this really funny story called "The Emperor's New Clothes"! It's about this emperor who loved fancy clothes more than anything. One day, two tricksters came to town and said they could make him the finest outfit from a magical fabric that was invisible to anyone who was dumb or unfit for their position. The emperor thought, "Perfect! I'll be able to see if any of my ministers are unworthy with this magical outfit." So he paid the tricksters a big bag of gold and they pretended to start working. They set up looms and pretended to be weaving, but there were no actual clothes!Every time the emperor sent someone over to see the progress, the tricksters would say, "The outfit isn't done yet, but it's extremely exquisite." The ministers wouldn't admit they couldn't see anything because they didn't want to be thought ofas dumb or unfit. So they just kept nodding and agreed thenon-existent outfit was taking shape beautifully. Finally, the tricksters told the emperor the outfit was finished. The emperor couldn't see any clothes either, but he was too proud and embarrassed to admit it. So he pretended to be adjusting the outfit and walked out, completely naked! The ministers were shocked but played along, complimenting the "clothes" because they didn't want to seem unfit either. As the emperor started a big parade through town in his birthday suit, all the townspeople saw he was stark naked but didn't dare say anything at first since everyone else was going with it.Then, a little kid shouted out, "But the emperor isn't wearing any clothes!" Once that innocent comment was said, everyone started laughing and repeating the obvious truth - the emperor was completely nude! The poor emperor realized he had been tricked, but he was much too proud to admit it. So he just kept walking through town, acting like he was showing off a magnificent outfit. Can you imagine how silly and awkward that must have looked? A grown man marching around with nothing on, pretending to be dressed in fancy robes! The moral of the story isthat sometimes people are so worried about looking foolish that they go along with something foolish instead of admitting the truth. It teaches us not to just believe what everyone else says if it doesn't make sense. Like that brave little kid, we should have the courage to point out if "the emperor has no clothes" instead of getting caught up in group denial. And leaders need to be humble enough to admit when they're mistaken rather than acting all puffed up with pride.I think the emperor totally learned his lesson by the end! From then on, I bet he was way more chill about just wearing regular clothes and not caring so much about fancy outfits. Maybe the embarrassing experience helped humble him and made him a wiser, more honest ruler who didn't get easily tricked or duped. That's the gist of the classic tale - kings and fancy clothes, tricksters and group denial, and a kid's innocent courage that reveals the awkward truth! Let me know if you need me to explain any part of the nutty story again. It's one of those weird fables that seems kind of dumb at first, but sneaks in an important lesson about pride, honesty, and thinking for yourself. Pretty clever story if you ask me!篇2The Emperor's New ClothesOne day, there lived a Emperor who really really loved fancy clothes. He spent all his money on the most beautiful shirts, pants, capes and hats. The Emperor cared way more about fashion than ruling the kingdom! Two tricksters who were super good at weaving came to the kingdom. They said they could make the finest clothes from a special thread that was invisible to anyone who was stupid or not fit for their job. The Emperor thought this was so cool and had to have these magical clothes! The tricksters set up two looms and pretended to work, though they wove nothing at all since they had no thread. They asked for more silk and gold to weave the pattern, which the Emperor gladly paid for even though they just kept it all for themselves!Ministers were sent to watch the weavers and they couldn't see the magical looms since the cloth was invisible. None admitted they couldn't see anything, since that would mean they were stupid. They all raved about the beautiful patterns and colors, even though there were no actual clothes! Finally, the tricksters announced the clothes were finished. The Emperor went with his head minister to get a sneak peek. Neither could see anything on the looms, but they spun compliments about the "clothes" because they didn't want to look unfit for their jobs. The day came for the Emperor to show off his new outfit in a big parade. He acted like the tricksters were dressing him, "marveling" at the lightness of the "fabric". In reality the old man was just strutting around in his underwear! All the people in the crowd couldn't believe their eyes. There were no clothes for the Emperor at all! But no one dared admit they couldn't see the "magnificent attire" until a child cried out:"But he isn't wearing anything at all!"This broke the crowd's silence, and everyone realized the truth. The furious Emperor tried to carry on the parade, but he hurried back to his palace after being so publicly humiliated. The rascally weavers were banished from the kingdom, but all was well after that. The Emperor learned not to be so concerned with appearances and to listen even to his youngest subjects. From then on, he made sure to dress simply but rule justly and wisely for all.The End!篇3The Emperor's New ClothesOnce upon a time, there lived an Emperor who really loved fancy clothes. He spent all his money on the most beautiful outfits. His closet was full of colorful robes decorated with jewels and embroidery. The Emperor cared more about his appearance than anything else in the world. One day, two tricksters arrived in the kingdom. They were weavers who claimed they could make the most magnificent fabric imaginable. This fabric was supposed to be invisible to anyone who was stupid or unfit for their position. The tricksters said only the wisest people could truly see their magical creation. The Emperor thought this sounded amazing. He gave the tricksters a huge bag of gold coins and the finest silk threads to start working right away. Of course, the tricksters were lying tricksters. There was no magical fabric - they just pretended to weave at empty looms.A few ministers were sent by the Emperor to check on the weavers' progress. But when the ministers arrived, they couldn't see any fabric on the looms! They were worried that meant theymust be stupid and unfit for their important jobs. So they praised the non-existent fabric, acting like they could see the beautiful creation. They didn't want to look foolish.More officials were summoned, and they also exclaimed how wonderful the clothing looked, even though there was nothing to see. They didn't dare admit they couldn't see the magical fabric for fear of being labeled unfit. Finally, the Emperor decided he wanted to take a look at this incredible new outfit before the grand unveiling parade. When the tricksters mimed dressing him in the imaginary outfit, the Emperor played along too. He didn't want to let on that he couldn't see the supposed masterpiece everyone was raving about. So the Emperor marched out into the town square for the parade, wearing only his undergarments. He shivered from the chill but continued waving proudly to his subjects. All the townspeople had also heard about the brilliant new clothing that only the wise could perceive. They didn't want to appear stupid, so they complimented the Emperor's "fine taste" and "splendid outfit."In the crowd, there was a young child who had no reason to lie. The innocent little kid looked at the Emperor and shouted,"But the Emperor isn't wearing any clothes!" Upon hearing this, everyone realized the truth. They felt embarrassed for going along with the tricksters' tale. The ashamed Emperor quickly went back inside his palace. From then on, he was much more wise about what really mattered in life. The Emperor began focusing less on his lavish wardrobe and more on being a good, honorable leader for his people. The moral of the story is that sometimes people don't want to admit the truth, even when it's right in front of them. Just because others believe something doesn't make it right. And you shouldn't judge people unfairly or pretend to be impressed just to look smart yourself. It's best to have courage and honesty like the young child did!篇4The Emperor's New ClothesHi friends! Today I want to tell you about a really funny story called "The Emperor's New Clothes". It's a tale from a long time ago, but it teaches an important lesson that is still true today. There was once an emperor who cared way too much about his appearance and what others thought of him. He loved fancyclothes more than anything else in the world. The emperor hired two swindlers who claimed to be weavers. These sneaky men said they could weave the most amazing cloth, invisible to anyone who was stupid or not fit for their job. How cool is that? The swindlers pretended to work on their looms, but there was no cloth on them at all. They just mimicked the movements used when weaving. The emperor sent his wisest, most honored men to see the cloth while the swindlers were "working". But the men couldn't see anything on the looms! They were baffled. They didn't want to look stupid though, so they all pretended to admire the non-existent cloth."These colors and patterns are beautiful!" said one man, trembling with fear of being dismissed as stupid. The others quickly agreed and showered fake praises on the empty looms too. They relayed only compliments about the incredible "cloth" back to the emperor. The swindlers continued their charade, pretending to weave the cloth. They mimed cutting the invisible fabric and sewed with invisible needles. Finally, they held up an imaginary completed outfit."Here are your new robes, your majesty!" the swindlers announced proudly. The emperor stared and stared, but sawnothing but thin air! He felt very uneasy. Surely an important man like himself, must not be stupid. The thought that no one could see the cloth was unbearable."Yes, the cloth has a wonderful sheen and color," he lied, admiring the non-existent garments. His courtiers, relieved to see the emperor did not contradict their words, enthusiastically praised the incredible "robes" too.The emperor allowed the swindlers to pretend to dress him in the invisible robes for an upcoming grand procession. He walked proudly in the parade, shivering a little since he was wearing just his undergarments in public. The people lining the streets at first said nothing, believing like the emperor's men that they were just too stupid to see the amazing clothes. Then, a young child shouted plainly, "But he isn't wearing any clothes!". The innocent comment spread through the crowd like wildfire. Everyone realized the truth - there were no robes, no special cloth. They had all been too scared to admit they saw nothing. At last, the emperor realized he had been deceived and duped. But he held his head high and continued the parade with great dignity. After all, he learned an important lesson about notbeing too concerned about appearances and fitting in with what others expect. Being honest is most important.Friends, this tale shows us that sometimes people pretend to see or understand something just because they don't want to look stupid or uninformed. It's better to be honest like that young child who saw things simply as they were. We don't have to go along with things we know aren't real or true just to impress others. I hope this funny and wise story sticks with you like it has with me!篇5The Emperor's New ClothesOne day, there lived a Emperor who really really really loved fancy clothes. He spent all his money on the fanciest outfits. He had a huge closet full of silky robes, shiny capes, and clothes made of gold thread. The Emperor sure loved showing off his cool clothes! Two tricksters came to the kingdom. They were sly and sneaky con men. They made up a story about making the finest, most magnificent clothes from a magic thread. "This thread is so amazing, it's invisible to anyone who is stupid or just really really unfit to be in their job," they lied. The Emperor thought, "Wow, I'm not dumb! I have to see this magic fabric." So he gave the con men a bag of gold to start working right away. Those sneaky tricksters just took the gold and pretended to weave day and night."This cloth is so beautiful!" they kept saying, miming working on looms. A minister was sent to check on the progress. But he couldn't see anything on the looms! He thought he must be stupider than he knew. So he lied, "The fabric is lovely!"More officials were sent, one by one. Nobody wanted to admit they were stupid and unfit for their position. They all raved about the quality of the invisible clothes. Soon everyone was talking about the gorgeous outfits being made for the Emperor. Finally, the tricksters announced the clothes were ready. "Light as a feather and as fine as the finest!" they declared. The Emperor couldn't see anything himself, but felt he must not be stupid. So on the big parade day, the Emperor prepared to show off his new outfit. The tricksters played along, pretending to dress him in the imaginary clothes. He marched out, feeling very proud in his new outfit that was only visible to the wise. The crowd was confused at first. Then a little kid blurted out, "The Emperor's not wearing any clothes!" The adults were shocked to realize the truth. The boy was just telling it like it was.Soon everyone started laughing and jeering at the Emperor walking around in his underwear. The Emperor realized he had been tricked, but kept marching on so he didn't look like even more of a dummy. The moral is: Don't go along with something untrue just because others are doing it. Be brave and honest like the little kid! Smart people can do stupid things sometimes. Don't judge dumb and smart just based on clothes or job titles. And be careful of tricksters trying to fool you!。

The people, who were afraid to admit they couldn't see the clothes, praised the emperor for his new outfit. Suddenly, a little boy shouted, "The emperor has noclothes!" The people realized they had been fooled and began to laugh at the emperor. The emperor, ashamed and embarrassed, realized he had been foolish to trust the swindlers. He learned a valuable lesson that day and promised to be more honest and humblein the future. This story teaches us that it is important to be honest and not to be afraid to admit when we are wrong. We should not be fooled by people who try to take advantage of us, and we should always be true to ourselves.。

小学英语英语故事(童话故事)TheEmperor’SNewClothes皇帝的新装The Emperor’S New Clothes 皇帝的新装Once upon a time there lived a vain Emperor whose only worry in life was to dress in elegant clothes. He changed clothes almost every hour and loved to show them off to his people.Word of the Emperor's refined habits spread over his kingdom and beyond. Two scoundrels who had heard of the Emperor's vanity decided to take advantage of it. They introduced themselves at the gates of the palace with a scheme in mind."We are two very good tailors and after many years of research we have invented an extraordinary method to weave a cloth so light and fine that it looks invisible. As a matter of fact it is invisible to anyone who is too stupid and incompetent to appreciate its quality."The chief of the guards heard the scoundrel's strange story and sent for the court chamberlain. The chamberlain notified the prime minister, who ran to the Emperor and disclosed the incredible news. The Emperor's curiosity got the better of him and he decided to see the two scoundrels."Besides being invisible, your Highness, this cloth will be woven in colors and patterns created especially for you." The emperor gave the two men a bag of gold coins in exchange for their promise to begin working on the fabric immediately."Just tell us what you need to get started and we'll give it to you." The two scoundrels asked for a loom, silk, gold thread and then pretended to begin working. The Emperor thought he had spent his money quite well: in addition to getting a newextraordinary suit, he would discover which of his subjects were ignorant and incompetent. A few days later, he called the old and wise prime minister, who was considered by everyone as a man with common sense."Go and see how the work is proceeding," the Emperor told him, "and come back to let me know."The prime minister was welcomed by the two scoundrels."We're almost finished, but we need a lot more gold thread. Here, Excellency! Admire the colors, feel the softness!" The old man bent over the loom and tried to see the fabric that was not there. He felt cold sweat on his forehead."I can't see anything," he thought. "If I see nothing, that means I'm stupid! Or, worse, incompetent!" If the prime minister admitted that he didn't see anything, he would be discharged from his office."What a marvelous fabric, he said then. "I'll certainly tell the Emperor." The two scoundrels rubbed their hands gleefully. They had almost made it. More thread was requested to finish the work. Finally, the Emperor received the announcement that the two tailors had come to take all the measurements needed to sew his new suit."Come in," the Emperor ordered. Even as they bowed, the two scoundrels pretended to be holding large roll of fabric."Here it is your Highness, the result of our labour," the scoundrels said. "We have worked night and day but, at last, the most beautiful fabric in the worldis ready for you. Look at the colors and feel how fine it is." Of course the Emperor did not see any colors and could not feel any cloth between his fingers. He panicked and felt like fainting. Butluckily the throne was right behind him and he sat down. But when he realized that no one could know that he did not see the fabric, he felt better. Nobody could find out he was stupid and incompetent. And the Emperor didn't know that everybody else around him thought and did the very same thing. The farce continued as the two scoundrels had foreseen it. Once they had taken the measurements, the two began cutting the air with scissors while sewing with their needles an invisible cloth."Your Highness, you'll have to take off your clothes to try on your new ones." The two scoundrels draped the new clothes on him and then held up a mirror. The Emperor was embarrassed but since none of his bystanders were, he felt relieved."Yes, this is a beautiful suit and it looks very good on me," the Emperor said trying to look comfortable. "You've done a fine job.""Your Majesty," the prime minister said, "we have a request for you. The people have found out about this extraordinary fabric and they are anxious to see you in your new suit." The Emperor was doubtful showing himself naked to the people, but then he abandoned his fears. After all, no one would know about it except the ignorant and the incompetent."All right," he said. "I will grant the people this privilege." He summoned his carriage and the ceremonial parade was formed.A group of dignitaries walked at the very front of the procession and anxiously scrutinized the faces of the people in the street. All the people had gathered in the main square, pushing and shoving to get a better look. An applause welcomed the regal procession. Everyone wanted to know how stupid or incompetent his or her neighbor was but, as the Emperor passed,a strange murmur rose from the crowd.Everyone said, loud enough for the others to hear: "Look at the Emperor's new clothes. They're beautiful!""What a marvellous train!""And the colors! The colors of that beautiful fabric! I have never seen anything like it in my life!" They all tried to conceal their disappointment at not being able to see the clothes, and since nobody was willing to admit his own stupidity and incompetence, they all behaved as the two scoundrels had predicted.A child, however, who had no important job and could only see things as his eyes showed them to him, went up to the carriage."The Emperor is naked," he said."Fool!" his father reprimanded, running after him. "Don't talk nonsense!" He grabbed his child and took him away. But the boy's remark, which had been heard by the bystanders, was repeated over and over again until everyone cried: "The boy is right! The Emperor is naked! It's true!"The Emperor realized that the people were right but could not admit to that. He though it better to continue the procession under the illusion that anyone who couldn't see his clothes was either stupid or incompetent. And he stood stiffly on his carriage, while behind him a page held his imaginary mantle.。

皇帝的新衣英语作文The Emperor's New Clothes is a famous fable by Hans Christian Andersen. It tells the story of a vain emperor who isobsessed with dressing in the finest clothes. Two swindlers take advantage of his vanity and pretend to weave a new suitof clothes that is invisible to those who are unfit for their positions or "hopelessly stupid."Here's a short English composition on the story:In the bustling kingdom of the Emperor, life was vibrant and full of color. The Emperor, known for his love of fine attire, was the talk of the town. His closets were filled with the most exquisite garments from across the lands, and he spent hours each day selecting his outfits. One day, two cunning tailors arrived in the city, claimingthey could weave the most magnificent cloth. They boastedthat their fabric was not only exquisite but also had the magical power to become invisible to those who were unfit for their positions or too foolish to see it.Intrigued by the idea, the Emperor summoned the tailors tohis palace. They set up their loom and pretended to weave, while in reality, there was nothing on the loom. The Emperor, eager to see the fabric, sent his most trusted advisors tocheck on the progress. One by one, they visited the tailors' workshop, each seeing nothing but an empty loom. However, fearing they would be deemed unfit or foolish, they allpraised the non-existent cloth. Finally, the day came for the Emperor's new clothes. Thetailors pretended to dress him, and the Emperor, believing he was now wearing the finest attire, decided to parade through the streets. The townsfolk, not wanting to appear foolish, echoed the praises of the advisors, marveling at theEmperor's new clothes. It was only a child, innocent and unafraid to speak the truth, who pointed out the obvious: "But he isn't wearing anythingat all!" The crowd fell silent, and the truth echoed through the streets. The Emperor, realizing the deception, felt awave of embarrassment wash over him.The tale of the Emperor's New Clothes serves as a reminderthat appearances can be deceiving, and the importance ofbeing honest, even when it is uncomfortable or unpopular. The Emperor’S New Clothes 皇帝的新装Once upon a time there lived a vain Emperor whose only worry in life was to dress in elegant clothes. The Emperor thought he had spent his money quite well: in addition to getting a new extraordinary suit, he would discover which of his subjects were ignorant and incompetent. But luckily the throne was right behind him and he sat down. "I will grant the people this privilege." He summoned his carriage and the ceremonial parade was formed. A group of dignitaries walked at the very front of the procession and anxiously scrutinized the faces of the people in the street. All the people had gathered in the main square, pushing and shoving to get a better look. An applause welcomed the regal procession. Everyone wanted to know how stupid or incompetent his or her neighbor was but, as the Emperor passed, a strange murmur rose from the crowd.Everyone said, loud enough for the others to hear: "Look at the Emperor's new clothes.

The Emperor's New ClothesOnce upon a time, there was an emperor who loved new clothes. He liked to wear different outfits every day and showed great enthusiasm for fashion. One day, two tailors came to the palace, claiming that they could make the most exquisite clothes using a special invisible fabric. The emperor, fascinated by this idea, immediately ordered them to begin work. The tailors pretended to weave the fabric, while in reality, they were just pretending. No one dared to question them, as they feared being seen as ignorant or foolish. After some time, the tailors announced that the clothes were ready. They pretended to dress the emperor in the invisible clothes, and everyone around praised how wonderful they looked, despite not being able to see them. The emperor, delighted with the apparent masterpiece, decided to wear these clothes for a grand procession in the city. As he walked through the streets, everyone marveled at his supposed attire, afraid to admit that they couldn't see anything. However, a small child, unaware of the deceit, blurted out, "But he isn't wearing anything at all!" This revelation caused a stir among the crowd, and soon everyone realized the truth. The emperor, embarrassed and furious, realized he had been duped. He had learned a valuable lesson about the importance of critical thinking and not blindly following the crowd. From that day on, the emperor became more cautious and less easily swayed by flattery. He also learned to appreciate the value of honest feedback, even if it was uncomfortable to hear. And as for the tailors? Well, let's just say they were never seen in the empire again.。

He had wardrobes and cupboards full of clothes. They filled his spare bedrooms and upstairs corridors of the palace. The courtiers were worried that the wardrobes would begin to appear downstairs and in their chambers. The Emperor spent hours every morning getting dressed. He had to choose his outfit, preferable a new one, and the shoes and wig to go with it. Mid-morning, he invariably changed into something more formal for his short meetings with his councillors and advisors. He would change again for lunch, and then again for a rest in the afternoon. He just had to change for dinner and them again for the evening! He kept all the weavers, tailors, cobblers and silk merchants of the city very busy and very happy! News of the Emperor spread to distant kingdoms and finally came to the ears of two very shady characters."Could we?" they asked themselves. "Could we fool the Emperor who loves new clothes?" "Let′s try," they decided. They left their homes and traveled to the Emperor′s city. there they saw the many shops selling clothes, shoes and fabrics. For, if the Emperor dressed finely, so too did his couriers. The two travelers went to the palace along with many other tradesmen hoping to sell their wares to the Emperor. They asked to meet the Emperor. "We have something very special to show him," they told the Chamberlain. "That′s what everyone says," said the Chamberlain. "Ah, but his is magical," said one, "We have invented a new cloth by using a very special and secret method."The Chamberlain felt that it was his duty to bring new items to the Emperor′s attention and he went to tell him. "Something magical?" said the Emperor, who was changing for lunch and admiring himself in the mirror. "Oh, I love new things, Show the two weavers in."The two weavers were shown in, and began to describe their cloth to the Emperor. "It is gold, silver and rainbow colored, all at the same time," said one. "It shimmers." "It feels like silk, but is as warm as wool," said the second. "It is as light as air," said the first. "A most wonderful fabric."The Emperor was enchanted. He must have an outfit from this new cloth. "There is a grand parade in the city in two weeks time," he said. "I need a new outfit for it. Can one be ready in time?" "Oh yes, your Majesty," said the weavers. "But there is a problem. The cloth is very expensive to make." "No matter," said the Emperor, waving his hand. "Money is no object. I must have an outfit. Just see the Chamberlain and he′ll sort it out. Make it here in the palace."The Chamberlain showed the two weavers to a large airy room and they set to work. They asked for a loom, and a sack of gold to start buying materials. The Chamberlain followed the Emperor′s orders and they were denied nothing. The weavers worked away behind closed doors. The loom could be heard clattering away. Every now and then a courtier would stand and listen at the door. News of the magic cloth had spread. Finally, the Emperor could stand it no more. "Chamberlain, go to the weavers and see how the cloth is processing. The parade is only a week way." The Chamberlain knocked at the door and waited. "Enter!" said the weavers. They had been expecting someone soon! "The Emperor has sent me to check on the progress of the cloth," said the Chamberlain, staring at the empty loom. "Is it not beautiful?" said one of the weavers, holding out nothing to the Chamberlain. "See the lustre, feel the softness!" "Um," said the Chamberlain, not quite sure what to say. "Oh wise Chamberlain," said the other weaver."Now you can see why it is magical. Only the truly clever and brilliant can see the cloth. Most people would see an empty loom, but a clever man like you will see our wonderful cloth." "Of course," said the Chamberlain, not wanting to look stupid. "It really is quite marvelous. Those colors, that shimmer of the gold and silver threads. Marvelous." "Oh, you are so wise," said the weavers. The Emperor was very impatient and couldn′t wait for the Chamberlain to return. After ten minutes of pacing up and down, he went to the weavers′ room, followed by half of his court. He threw the doors open, and saw the empty loom. "Why!" he cried in a surprised voice. "Your Majesty," said the Chamberlain quickly. " A wise man such as yourself can surely see the colors and sheen of this magical cloth." "Of course I can," said the Emperor, wondering why he could not. "It′s beautiful. Simply enchanting. When can my outfit be made? Send for the royal tailors!" "Your Majesty," said the two weavers. "We would be delighted to make your outfit for you. There is no need to trouble your hard-working tailor. It is such a difficult fabric to cut and sew. We will make the suit." "Very well," said the Emperor. "First fitting tomorrow."The courtiers had followed the Emperor, and they now came into the room. Of course, they could see nothing on the loom for there was nothing to see. "Is it not beautiful?" said one of the weavers. "Of course, only the wise and very clever can see thebeauty of the cloth. Look at the colors, feel the weight." The courtiers queued up to look at the colors and feel the weight, and each went away exclaiming over the marvelous cloth which was indeed as light as air. But each courtier secretly wondered if they were really stupid, as they had seen nothing at all. The two weavers then set to work as tailors. They muttered and discussed at the Emperor′s fittings, stitching here, cutting there until at last the suit was made. The following day was the day of the parade. "Am I not the handsomest of men in my marvellous suit?" said the Emperor to the Chamberlain, as he showed off his new outfit. "Just look at the tiny stitches and the lacework. Truly marvelous." "Undoubtedly, sir," said the Chamberlain. "There is no outfit on earth to equal this one."The Emperor was dressed in his new suit and ready for the parade. News of his amazing outfit had reached the people of the town and all wanted to see him. There were people crowded along the sides of the streets. The parade began!People gasped. "What a suit!" they cried. "What suit?" asked a small boy, who had not heard of the magical cloth. "The Emperor has no clothes on at all!" "It′s true! No clothes! The Emperor is naked!" the people cried. And the Emperor was very ashamed. He had been so vain, and now he had been made to look a fool. As for the two tailors -- they were in fact thieves, and had long since left the town with their bags of gold. Probably laughing all the way! But the Emperor is a wiser man now, and spends a lot more time with his advisors and far less with his tailors.皇帝的新⾐从前有⼀个国王很喜欢穿新⾐服,差不多每过⼀个钟头就要换⼀件。

皇帝的新衣英语范文The Emperor's New Clothes is a classic fairy tale that has been passed down through generations It tells the story of a vain emperor who cares more about wearing fancy clothes than ruling his kingdom Once upon a time there was an emperor who was so excessively fond of new clothes that he spent all his money on being well-dressed He did not care about reviewing his soldiers or going to the theater or even going for a ride in his carriage except to show off his new outfit The town he lived in was full of people who loved fashion and gossip so they were always ready to flatter the emperor and admire his lavish attireOne day two swindlers arrived in the town They introduced themselves as weavers and claimed they could make the most magnificent fabric imaginable They said the clothes made from this fabric would be invisible to anyone who was unfit for their position or who was unusually stupid The emperor was immediately intrigued by this claim and decided he must have a suit made from this extraordinary cloth He paid the two men a large sum of money to begin working on the fabricThe swindlers pretended to work very hard at their looms but of course they produced nothing at all They claimed the fabric was so fine that it was invisible They asked for more money and more silk thread to keep working When the time came for a progress report the emperor sent his most trusted minister to check on the work The minister was aghast when he saw the empty looms but not wanting to appear unfit for his position or stupid he praised the magnificent fabricWhen the emperor went to see the so-called new clothes the swindlers pretended to dress him They pantomimed fitting an imaginary suit and the emperor played along acting as if he could see the glorious attire Processions were arranged so the emperor could show off his new clothes to the whole town Everyone played along and pretended to admire the beautiful suit even though no one could actually see anything The emperor paraded through the streets waving and beaming while his subjects cheered and clapped their handsSuddenly a small child in the crowd blurted out "But he isn't wearing anything at all " The boy's mother quickly shushed him but it was too late The cry was soon taken up by others in the crowd and soon everyone was talking about the emperor's lack of clothes The emperor heard their whisperings and felt a cold shiver run down hisspine but he stubbornly continued the procession telling himself that the procession must go onThe story is a classic tale about human nature and the desire to avoid looking foolish In the story the emperor the ministers and all the townspeople are too afraid of being thought of as stupid or incompetent to admit that they cannot see the new clothes The swindlers exploit this fear and vanity to take advantage of the whole town The emperor's parade through the streets is a metaphor for how we often go along with obvious falsehoods because we are afraid to speak up and reveal our own ignoranceThe story also highlights how easy it is for people to be deceived by charlatans and fraudsters The swindlers in the story are skilled liars who are able to convince the emperor and his subjects that they possess a magical fabric when in reality they have produced nothing at all This reflects how in real life there are many people and organizations that make grand claims and promises without any substance behind them Simply the threat of being labeled as stupid or unfit is enough to keep most people from challenging these claimsThe story teaches an important lesson about the power of peer pressure and the human tendency to conform The emperor and his subjects are all too afraid of standing out and being different toadmit the truth about the clothes This is a common phenomenon in human society where people often go along with the majority view even when they know it is wrong for fear of social ostracization The story encourages us to have the courage to think independently and speak up even when it means going against the crowdUltimately The Emperor's New Clothes is a timeless tale that speaks to universal human weaknesses such as vanity pride and conformity It is a cautionary story that reminds us to be skeptical of grand claims and to have the courage to think for ourselves and speak the truth even when it is uncomfortable to do so The story has endured for centuries because its message about human nature remains relevant today as it was when it was first told。
