Yes, I agree. It’s true that difficul t childhoods do leave some people wounded and disadvantaged. But for others, a tough childhood actually drives them to remarkable achievement and success, because the tough childhood make them realize their full potential. Nowadays British pubs are in crisis. There is a decline in alcoholic consumption but actually more people are drinking to excess and starting at a young age. The decline in pubs has to do with three things: the smoking ban, a fraying in the old notion of community, and as a result of Happy Hours and drinking promotions. All this have transformed the average British pub from an attractive place where people can relax themselves into noisy dumps full of quiz machines and drunk teenagers shouting at each other.

On a deeper level, a team player is someone who can play a role in the team, to achieve and support the goals set and agreed upon by the team. What’s more, being a team player does not mean that you do not have any ideas of your own. It doesn’t mean you should always agree with the rest of the team.
