优化课堂教学结构,激发英语课堂活力《英语课程标准》指出:“英语课程改革的重点就是要改变英语课程过分重视语法和词汇知识的讲解与传授、忽视对学生实际语言运用能力的培养,强调课程从学生的学习兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发,倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式和任务型的教学途径,发展学生的综合语言运用能力,使语言学习的过程成为学生形成积极的情感态度、主动思维和大胆实践、提高跨文化意识和形成自主学习能力的过程。

”然而,长期以来受应试教育的影响,大部分教师仅把英语作为语言知识来传授,忽视了语言实际应用能力的培养。

教师上课主要是讲解语言知识以及进行一些机械操练,在课堂上很少给学生语言实践的机会。

分析这种教学模式,发现学生多是以被动接受知识为主,基本上是按照老师的要求完成任务。

学生的学习是机械的被动接受,老师提出问题,学生作相应反应,之后是作业练习,这样使学生学习英语的主动性被压抑。

而成功的英语教学不只是看一节课教了多少内容,最重要的是看学生练了多少,学会了多少,在实践中能用多少,这种”学会”,”能用”就是”内化”,为此,在英语教学实践中,就要以此为目标优化教学内容,优化教学手段,优化”识记——操练——运用”的教学过程,让学生在整个教学活动中,有强烈的求知欲和成功感。

要优化教学内容,就必须吃透教材,活化教材,使教材内容生活化,让学生感到书本语言和我们生活实践贴得很近,对教学内容具有亲切感,进而产生浓厚的求知欲,强烈的进取欲,变被动吸取为主动探索,因此,创造性地钻研教学内容,在利教、便学、易记上下功夫,在培养学生能力上下功夫,是切实有效地提高英语教学质量的有效途径。

优化教学手段,必须充分利用和创设情景,无论是语言情景、实物情景、声像情景都可以激发学生的学习兴趣。

如听录音、看投影,角色对话等,让学生入情入景,努力使书本语言和实际运用统一起来,使课堂教学在全方位多层次的活动中轻松愉快地进行。

优化教学过程,必须把重点放在提高学生语言运用的能力上。
