教材通过Mike 和Zhang Peng对校历前六个月的活动,呈现了上述有关六个月份的单词。

一、教材分析
本课内容是PEP小学英语三年级起始版五年级英语下册Unit3 My school calendar A部分第一课时,本单元重点教学与月份以及各个月份开展的活动有关的词汇和句型。
月份和活动的话题与学生的日常生活有着密切的联系,大部分学生对开展课外活动有着浓厚的兴趣,所以教材创设了相关的情境、活动和任务,让学生在活动和任务重学习新知,掌握学习英语的方法,感受学习英语的乐趣和作用。
教师在教学时要尽量创设和谐有趣的学习氛围,采用积极的评价方式,让学生在玩中学、学中用,形成积极有效的课堂教学。
1、教学目标
1、能听说读写表示月份的单词: January, Febyuary, March, April、May和Jane.
2、听说认读单词:plant, year,vacation , Easter party , sports meet, contest, trip, 和词组
3、了解一年中各个月份开展的活动。
4、掌握句子:When is Tree Planting Day\Easter party\...? It’s in March\April\...并能在实际情境中灵活运用。

二、学生情况分析
五年级的学生已经具备一定的英语学习能力,他们生性活泼好动,好奇心强,模仿力强,喜欢表现,但有意注意时间较短。
三、教法与学法
(一)情境教学法
小学生对新事物总是充满好奇,节日和月份对于他们来说是非常熟悉的,恐怕很难保持他们长时间的注意和高涨的情绪,因此我利用多媒体把学生引入英语乐园,调动他们的积极性,提高他们的学习兴趣。
(二)小组合作学习法
小组合作学习是新课程积极倡导的有效学习方式之一,有效的小组合作学习可以加大学生语言的实践量,提高学生运用语言的能力,促进互相帮助,培养团队意识。
四、教学程序
(一)Let's review通过复习,加深对季节的认知,从而逐渐引出月份,认识日历,认识新单词calendar
(二)Presentation
1) 认读新单词
