The next morning he took two baskets of vegetables to town. But it was raining hard that afternoon and there were few people in the street. When his vegetables were sold out, it was dark. He bought some medicine and hurried to his village. On his way home he saw a person lying on the snow. He placed his baskets on the ground and was going to help the person to get up. At that time he found it was a dead man and there was much blood on his body. He was so afraid that he ran away quickly, without taking the baskets with him.The next afternoon the farmer was sent to the police station. Having shown the baskets, an officer asked, “Are these yours” “Yes, sir.” the farmer answered timidly(胆怯地). “Have you killed the man” “No, no, sir.” the farmer said in a hurry. “When did you see the dead man” “About seven last evening.” “Did you see who killed the man” “No, sir.” The officer brought out a knife and asked, “Have you seen it yet” “No, sir.” The officer became angry and told the policemen to beat him up and sent him into prison. the officer wanted to trap the farmer into the confession(供认), but the farmer didn’t admit he was the murderer.

1The New KidI was really excited when I found out there was going to be a new student joining my class. Having a new kid show up is always fun - I get to make a new friend and there's a bit of a buzz around school for a little while. Everybody wants to get to know the new student and hear all about where they came from. His name was Marcus and he had just moved to our town from another city pretty far away. On his first day, the teacher asked him to stand up and introduce himself to the class. Marcus seemed really shy and nervous. His face went all red and he spoke in just a tiny little voice when he said his name and that he liked soccer. I felt kind of bad for him.At recess, a bunch of us tried to get Marcus to come play with us, but he didn't want to. He just stood off by himself in the corner of the playground. I went over to try and get him to join in, but he didn't say much. I could tell he was feeling really uncomfortable being the new kid. I remembered how awkwardand scary it felt when I was the new student a couple years ago after we moved to this town. It can be really hard!Over the next few days, Marcus still wasn't really talking to anyone. He would quietly sit by himself at lunch, reading or playing littlehand-held video games. A couple mean kids started picking on him a bit for being so quiet and alone all the time. That made me mad - I hated seeing the new kid get bullied like that when he was just being shy. I told those bullies to cut it out and leave Marcus alone. One day after school, I saw Marcus was the last one left besides me. His head was hanging down looking at the ground as he slowly gathered his stuff to leave. I walked over to him and said "Hi Marcus! You want to walk home together?" He looked up at me with a surprised look. Then he gave a little nod and a tiny smile. As we walked, I started chatting with him to try and make him feel more comfortable. I asked him questions about what his old city was like and what he liked to do for fun. Slowly, Marcus started opening up. He told me about the huge park near his old house that had a soccer field, basketball courts, and a cute little stream running through it. He said he really missed that park.I told Marcus all about the awesome hiking trails and woods near my neighborhood that we could explore together sometime. His eyes lit up at that - he said he loved the outdoors and going on adventures. Marcus started talking more and more about all his interests like gaming, art, and especially bugs. He went on forever about all the cool insects he's seen and studied. I had no idea he was such an insect expert! We became really good friends after that walk. Now Marcus was eager to hang out, and I introduced him to all my other friends. They all liked Marcus once they got to know him - he was actually a really funny, cool dude once he opened up. We started eating lunch together every day, playing soccer at recess, going on bug collecting expeditions in the woods, and just having a blast being kids. The teachers were so happy to see Marcus finally coming out of his shell and making friends. He was excelling in class once he felt more comfortable and confident at school. I was really proud of myself for being the one to first get through to the shy new kid. I remembered how much it helped when some other kids made an effort with me when I was the new student. Now I had paid that kindness forward by being a friend to Marcus.I'm so glad Marcus joined our class. He's my best buddy now!I honestly can't picture my life at school without him. This whole experience taught me that it's important to make an effort with new people, even if they seem shy or different at first. You never know what an amazing friend you might make if you take the time to get to know someone. Now our little crew is so tight - like real life buddies going on little kid adventures every day after school. I'm having such an awesome year thanks to Marcus!篇2The Curious Case of the Missing MarblesHi there! My name is Tommy and I'm in the 4th grade. I love reading, especially mystery stories. The reading passage we had in our English exam was super interesting. It was about a boy named Jack who lost his marbles. At first, I thought it was just a silly story about a kid who misplaced his toy marbles. But as I read on, I realized it was a real mystery!Jack's marble collection was very special to him. He had been collecting marbles since he was little and had all sorts of cool ones – cat's eyes, shooters, and even a rare jade marble. One day, Jack noticed that some of his precious marbles were missing from the jar he kept them in. How strange!Jack started looking everywhere for the missing marbles. He checked under his bed, in the closet, and even in the kitchen. No marbles anywhere! Jack was really upset. Those marbles meant a lot to him. Some of them were gifts from his grandpa. The story didn't say what happened next, but my mind started racing with ideas. I decided to write my own continuation to solve the curious case of the missing marbles. Here's what I think could have happened:Jack told his mom about the missing marbles and she suggested he re-trace his steps from the last few days. Maybe he'd taken them out to play somewhere and forgot to put them back properly.Jack tried his best to remember. Then it hit him – he had been playing marbles in the backyard with his best friend Emma a couple of days ago! He raced outside and sure enough, there were a few stray marbles lying in the grass. Phew, mystery solved!Or was it? As Jack picked up the marbles, he realized several were still missing, including his prized jade one. This was getting really strange. Jack's dog Buster then came bounding over, drooling all over the place. Jack gasped – Buster's mouth was full of marbles!"Buster, you naughty pup! Did you eat my marbles?" Jack scolded. Buster just wagged his tail happily. It seemed the family pet was the real culprit behind the missing marble caper!Jack checked Buster's fur and found more marbles stuck in there. He started gathering them all up, feeling relieved to have solved the mystery. That is, until he saw the jade marble lying a few feet away...broken into two pieces! Jack's heart sank. His favorite marble was ruined.Just then, Emma came running over. "Jack, there you are! I have something to tell you about your marbles." She looked guilty.Emma explained that a few days earlier when they were playing, her little brother Tom had taken some of Jack's marbles and hidden them around the backyard as a prank. That sneaky Tom!With Emma's help, Jack was able to recover the last few missing marbles from the hiding spots. Although his jade one was broken, he felt much better knowing the marbles hadn't been lost forever, just temporarily misplaced by a pesky younger brother and an even peskier dog. From that day on, Jack made sure to keep his marble collection safely locked away when he wasn't playing with it. No more losing his precious marbles to dogs, siblings, or anyone else! Mysteries are fun, but not when they involve your favorite toys going missing.Well, that's my take on what could have happened after that reading passage. Writing mysteries is hard work, but using my imagination to continue Jack's story was a lot of fun. I can't wait to read more mystery books and maybe even write my own novel one day! A kid can dream, right? Thanks for reading my take on the curious case of Jack's missing marbles. Until next time!篇3The Reading Passage Was All About the EnvironmentWow, that reading passage was really interesting! It talked all about how we need to take better care of the environment. There were a lot of big words that I didn't quite understand, but I got the main idea. The passage said that humans are hurting the planet by polluting too much and using up too many natural resources. It mentioned things like factories letting out yucky smoke, carsputting bad gases into the air, and people throwing away too much trash that doesn't biodegrade. It sounds like we're really messing things up for the Earth!I don't want the planet to be all dirty and yucky when I grow up. I love playing outside, breathing the fresh air, and seeing all the pretty flowers, trees and animals. I would be so sad if all of that went away because we weren't being careful enough. That's why I think it's really important that we all do our part to be more environmentally friendly. Even kids like me can help out! At school, I always make sure to recycle my plastic bottles, cans, and paper instead of just throwing them in the regular trash. My teacher says that recycling helps save natural resources and cuts down on waste. At home, my mom is really good about turning off lights when we leave a room so we don't waste electricity. She also takes reusable bags with her to the grocery store instead of using plastic ones. Those plastic bags are really bad for the environment because they take so long to break down.I try to conserve water too by not letting the sink run forever when I'm brushing my teeth. My dad told me that clean drinking water is becoming scarce in some parts of the world, so weshouldn't waste it. Little things like that can make a big difference if everyone does them.Sometimes I get frustrated though because it seems like grown-ups aren't doing enough to help the environment. Why are there still so many big factories polluting the air and water? Why do people keep littering everywhere instead of putting trash in the proper bins? It makes me worried about what the world will look like when I'm older. That's why I think we need stronger laws to force companies and people to be more environmentally responsible. If they don't follow the rules, they should have to pay really big fines. Maybe that will finally make them realize how important it is to go green and clean up their acts!I also think we should have more education about the environment starting from when kids are really little. If we can teach good habits and values from the beginning, it will be easier to create a generation of people who truly care about protecting the planet. I've been learning about recycling, conserving energy/water, and not littering since I was in preschool, and now it just feels normal and natural to me.In school now, we have eco-clubs where we do fun activities like picking up litter in parks, planting trees, and making arts &crafts projects out of recycled materials. We even took a field trip last year to a renewable energy plant that runs on solar power and wind turbines - that was really cool to see! The more interactive learning experiences we can give kids, the more engaged and enthusiastic they'll be about environmental protection. My biggest dream is that by the time I'm a grown-up, we'll finally have clean air to breathe, safe drinking water everywhere, and unspoiled natural habitats for plants and animals to thrive. I imagine cities with buildings made from eco-friendly materials, solar panels on every rooftop, awesome public transportation systems so we don't need as many cars, and beautiful green spaces like parks and community gardens.I know that might sound too optimistic and idealistic. After all, the reading passage made it seem like environmental problems are just getting worse and worse as time goes on. But I have to篇4My Trip to the ZooHey there! My name is Lily and I'm 8 years old. I just took a really cool field trip to the zoo with my class and I wanted to tell you all about it!We took a big yellow school bus to get to the zoo. It was kind of a long ride, about an hour, but it was fun because we got to sing songs and play games on the bus. When we finally got there, I was so excited! I love animals so much. The first animals we saw were the mon篇5My Visit to the Science MuseumOne sunny Saturday, my mom and dad took me to the big Science Museum in the city. I was really excited because I love learning about science and seeing cool experiments! When we got there, the first thing I saw was a huge dinosaur skeleton in the lobby. "Woah, look at that T-Rex!" I shouted, running up to get a closer look. The sign said it was65 million years old. I couldn't even imagine being alive that long ago when dinosaurs roamed the earth.Next, we went into the physics section. There were all kinds of hands-on displays letting you play with forces like gravity, inertia, and magnetism. My favorite was the vacuum tube that you could put things into and watch them defy gravity. I made a beach ball float in mid-air and twirl around - it was awesome! The biology area had models of cells and organs that you could walk through. Everything was giant-sized so you could see all the details up close. I climbed through a gigantic eyeball and saw the lens and retina. In the brain model, I could see where memories are stored and where decisions are made. It was mind-blowing!After that, we visited the chemistry labs. There were lots of test tubes and beakers filled with bubbling, colorful liquids. We got to make our own slime by mixing a couple clear solutions together. The slime turned bright green and was so gooey and stretchy! Taking it home was the best souvenir.Around lunchtime, we went to the museum cafe for some food. There were actually dishes themed around the molecular structure of different meals. My sandwich had pieces of bread made to look like atoms! Even the drinks had dry ice smoke billowing out of them. It was a full multi-sensory science experience. With renewed energy, we explored the space and aviation galleries next. I saw real rockets and spacesuits that astronautshave worn on missions. There was a flight simulator ride that made me feel like I was truly blasting off into orbit. The G-forces pushed me deep into my seat as we accelerated through the atmosphere. I wished I could go on a real rocket ship someday! Finally, we made our way to the computer science wing to learn about coding and cybersecurity. We got to program little robot buggies to follow a maze and pick up small objects. There were also some cool 3D printers making weird plasticky sculptures. The computers were linked into a massive video game where everyone could team up and battle viruses trying to break into the network. Our team won by building the strongest cybersecurity firewall!By the time we left, my brain was bursting with new knowledge. I had no idea science could be that much fun and so interactive. We saw physics in motion, walked through giant biological models, made chemistry slime, experienced a space launch, and defeated a network attack all in one day. I can't wait to go back to the Science Museum again soon!篇6The Big Mud Puddle AdventureHi! My name is Lily and I'm 8 years old. I love going on adventures and using my imagination. One sunny Saturday morning, I woke up feeling really excited because my best friend Emma was coming over to play. We had big plans to build a fort in my backyard and pretend we were brave explorers discovering a new land. After eating my pancakes, I ran outside to get everything ready. I grabbed some old blankets, pillows, and my collection of stuffed animals to make our fort cozy. I also found a couple of big sticks we could use as explorers' walking sticks. Just as I finished setting up, I heard the gate open and Emma came running over."Hi Lily! I'm ready for our big adventure today!" Emma said with a big smile."Me too! Our explorer fort is all set up over here," I replied, leading her to the backyard. "Whoa, this looks awesome!" she exclaimed when she saw the fort. We got right to work fluffing up the pillows and arranging the stuffed animals just how we wanted. After admiring our handiwork, I said "Okay Emma, time to gear up for our journey into the wild!" We grabbed our walkingsticks and put on our explorer hats and backpacks. Emma even tied a bandana around her head to look extra rugged."Where should we explore first, Lily?" Emma asked, swinging her walking stick with enthusiasm."Hmm..." I thought for a moment, scanning the backyard. That's when my eyes landed on the biggest, muddiest puddle I'd ever seen! The rain from a few nights ago must have caused it."There!" I pointed towards the puddle. "That will be our first destination. Can you imagine all the cool creatures and plants we might discover there?"Emma gasped. "You're right, Lily! A puddle that size must be teeming with exotic life. It will be very dangerous though... are you sure we're prepared for such a perilous journey?"I puffed out my chest with confidence. "Don't you worry, I'm the bravest explorer around. We can handle anything that puddle throws our way!"And with that, we began making our way across the yard towards the gigantic puddle. We had to step very carefully to avoid any "deep muddy pits" that could swallow us whole. Every few steps we stopped to look around with our hands on our foreheads, scanning for any sign of danger. Finally, after what felt like an eternity of cautious trekking, we made it to the puddle's edge. Emma and I stood there in awe, mouths hanging open."I can't believe we actually made it..." Emma said quietly."Me neither," I replied. "Should we...go in?"Emma gulped. "The risks could be extreme. But we can't let our fear stop us from making an astronomical puddle discovery!""You're right. Okay, get ready and follow me in..." I said, lifting one foot up and taking a tiny step forward into the muddy water.Within seconds, the puddle began gurgling and bubbling like a swamp! Emma and I stumbled backwards, gripping our walking sticks tightly."What's happening?!" Emma cried out."I...I don't know! Maybe we've angered the puddle spirits!" I shouted back.Just then, a gigantic mud monster rose up from the middle of the puddle, snarling and gurgling nonsense words! It had two big googly eyes made of rocks, a mouth full of twigs and leaves for teeth, and six slimy tentacles writhing around.Emma and I screamed at the top of our lungs and turned to run away as fast as we could. But the mud monster gave a mighty roar that seemed to shake the whole backyard. We froze in our tracks, shaking with fear.Slowly, the mud monster opened its mouth and spoke in a deep, gravelly voice. "CHILDREN...YOU HAVE ENTERED...MY MUDDY DOMAIN..."My lips trembled as I stammered "W-We're very s-sorry Mr. Mud Monster! We d-didn't mean to intrude! We're j-just explorers!"The monster narrowed its googly eyes at us. "EXPLORERS YOU SAY? THEN EXPLORE YOU SHALL!"Before we could react, two of the monster's slimy tentacles stretched out and wrapped around our legs! Emma and I screamed again as the tentacles lifted us up into the air. With one powerful swing, the monster flung us across the backyard......right into the middle of the giant puddle! We came up sputtering and coughing, covered from head to toe in thick brown mud. The monster bellowed with laughter that sounded like rumbling thunder."Th-That was horrible!" Emma cried, frantically trying to wipe mud out of her eyes."And awesome!" I shouted back, slinging some mud her way playfully.Emma gasped, then started laughing too. "Oh you're gonna get it!" She picked up a big handful of mud and flung it at me.We spent the next hour having the most epic mud battle ever, laughing and splashing around gleefully. Every time we thought the fight was over, one of us would sneak in one more mud attack from behind.Eventually, we were so exhausted that we just collapsed in the puddle, letting the mud ooze over us. We stared up at the clouds, feeling totally content."That...was...the...BEST adventure ever!" Emma panted."You got that right," I said. "Thanks for being an awesome explorer buddy."Emma smiled at me. "No, thank YOU Lily. I can't wait for what we get to discover next time!"We fist bumped, sending a shower of mud droplets up into the air and all over our already filthy bodies. Then we bothstarted laughing all over again. I felt so happy and grateful to have such an amazing friend to go on adventures with.As we were catching our breath, we heard my mom call out from the backdoor. "Lily? Emma? What on earth are you girls up to- OH MY GOODNESS"She rushed outside and gasped when she saw the aftermath of our battle. Emma and I exchanged a mischievous look before shouting "MUD MONSTER ATTACK" and tackling my poor mom into the puddle with us.The three of us rolled around, laughing hysterically and coating my mom in just as much mud as we were covered in. I don't think I've ever seen her laugh so hard!By the time we finally dragged ourselves inside to get cleaned up, we were all completely exhausted. As I was eating a snack and sipping some hot chocolate, I overheard my mom telling my dad about our "explorer adventure gone wild."Dad just chuckled and said "Well, you know how kids are with their imaginations. Although I must admit, getting ambushed by a mud monster does sound pretty intense!"I smiled into my mug, feeling like the luckiest kid in the world. Emma and I had been on the most amazingly silly, messy, unforgettable adventure together today. And who knows what other imaginary quests and creatures awaited us next time?。

山川又可以细分为:forest,mountains,caves,islands and volcanoes,paths, rivers,sea。

1.But no mor e helicopters came and it was getting dark again.2.It was daybreak when Jane woke up.

文章结尾处,提到了“from then on, people inthe village started to realize the importance of protecting the environment”这样的话句。

Thanks to my conservative(保守的) Jewish background, I didn’t believe in angels. That is, not until Christmas Eve of 1979, when an angel brought unexpected joy to my home. After divorce, my two daughters not only lost the security of a whole family, they also tearfully left behind neighborhood friends, a familiar school, and a large house. These had all been replaced with a narrow two-bedroom apartment in a poorer part of town.I arranged to take my vocation during my childr en’s winter school holiday. We spent evenings planning activities: cookie baking, games, a pizza night, and evening car rides to view neighborhood holiday lights. With expectation, they seemed to be in good spirits. The week before the school break, however, terrible news of family disasters arrived. By Christmas Eve, gloom clouded our vacation plans. An afternoon outing for movie did little to improve our mood.On returning to our apartment, we were astonished to see a beautiful, six-foot Christmas tree propped(支撑) against our front door. In silent wonder, we looked back and forth, from the tree to one another and around the empty street. Excitement built, and the girls begged to keep the tree.“Maybe it’s for us,” insisted my older daughter.“Yeah,” echoed my younger child. “I bet an angel brought it to us!”I laughed aloud at the idea of an angel bringing a Christmas tree to a Jewish family. Caught up in their happiness, I pronounced the tree “ours.”We dragged it inside and headed out to the only supermarket in our small town open that late on Christmas Eve. With holiday goods marked down to half price, I gave a nod of approval to a tree stand(底座), two boxes of multicolored balls, a package of six Santa figurines(小雕像), a 100-foot string of mini lights, and one paper angel.Paragraph 1:Back home, we moved “our” tree into our tiny living room.Paragraph 2:The annual winter holiday became a family tradition. One possible version:Back home, we moved “our” tree into our tiny living room. Cheerfully, the girls painted some paper decorations. With delight that had been absent for months, we started to add the things we bought from the supermarket around the Christmas tree. We strung the lights, hung the multicolored balls and placed the paper angel on top. Finally, with a girl in each of my arms, we sat in the darkness, attracted by the twinkling Christmas tree lights. There was full of joy in our new home. The annual winter holiday became a family tradition. We’d feel complete with a “Jewish Angel” Chr istmas tree in member of our heaven-sent gift. For many years, we held our breath and experienced the familiar feeling up our arms when we placed the original paper angel on the top of each tree. Still, every Christmas Eve, my daughters and I talked about the unexpected joy that Christmas tree had brought us and about the special childhood memories at that time.2.

We were excited and full of energy as we prepared for our journey. We packed our backpacks with sandwiches, water bottles, and of course, our trusty map.Our destination was a mysterious island called Treasure Cove. Legend had it that the island was home to a hidden treasure. We couldn't resist the thought of discovering shiny gold coins and sparkling jewels. So, with our hearts filled with courage, we set sail on our little wooden boat.As we sailed further into the deep blue sea, the waves splashed against our boat, creating a sense of danger and excitement. Suddenly, a strong gust of wind blew, causing our map to fly out of our hands and into the water. Panic filled our faces as we watched it float away. Our treasure hunt seemed doomed from the start. But we didn't give up. Determined to find the treasure, we used our memory to recall the landmarks on the map. We relied on the sun, the stars, and our instincts to guide us towards the island. It wasn't easy, but we knew that teamwork and perseverance would lead us to success. After what felt like an eternity, we spotted a small island in the distance. "Treasure Cove!" we shouted with joy. We rowed our boat with all our might, eager to explore every inch of the island. As we arrived, we were greeted by a lush green forest and a beautiful waterfall. We ventured deeper into the forest, following a trail of clues left by previous treasure hunters. The sunbeams filtered through the thick canopy, creating a magical atmosphere. The chirping of birds and the rustling of leaves accompanied us along the way.Suddenly, we stumbled upon a hidden cave entrance. Heart pounding, we cautiously entered the darkness. Our flashlights illuminated the walls covered in ancient symbols. It felt like stepping into a different world. As we ventured further, we discovered a glittering treasure chest. With trembling hands, we opened the chest, and to our amazement, it was filled with not only gold and jewels but also handwritten letters. Curiosity overwhelmed us as we started reading the letters. Ever since my grandpa told me about the secret forest, I had been dreaming of going there and discovering its wonders.I packed a small bag with some snacks, a water bottle, and a notebook to write down my adventures. As I stepped out of ourlittle hut, I waved goodbye to my parents and promised to be back before sunset. The path to the forest was a winding one, surrounded by tall trees and bushes. I could hear the chirping of birds and the rustling of leaves as a gentle breeze blew through the trees. It was as if nature was welcoming me into its embrace. After walking for about an hour, I finally reached the entrance of the secret forest. The trees were taller and denser here, and the sunlight filtered through the canopy, casting a mystical glow on the forest floor. As I ventured deeper into the forest, I couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder and excitement. Every step I took revealed something new and fascinating. The air was filled with the scent of wildflowers and the earthy aroma of decaying leaves.I stopped to admire a vibrant butterfly dancing from flower to flower, its delicate wings fluttering gracefully. In the distance, I could hear the gentle gurgling of a stream, and I decided to follow the sound. As I approached the stream, I was greeted by a breathtaking sight. The water was crystal clear, and small fish darted back and forth, their scales glistening in the sunlight. I sat down on anearby rock and dipped my feet in the cool water, savoring the peaceful moment.Suddenly, a rustling in the bushes caught my attention. I froze, my heart pounding with anticipation. Could it be a wild animal? I held my breath as a fluffy squirrel emerged, its bushy tail twitching playfully. It scampered across the forest floor, gathering acorns and disappearing back into the foliage. As I continued my exploration, I came across a fallen log covered in soft moss. Curiously, I lifted a portion of the moss and gasped in delight. Underneath, there was a tiny world of mushrooms, each one unique in shape and color. I carefully replaced the moss, not wanting to disturb this miniature ecosystem. The hours passed quickly as I wandered through the enchanting forest, discovering new wonders at every turn. I stumbled upon a beautiful clearing where wildflowers bloomed in vibrant hues, and a family of deer grazed peacefully. As the sun began to set, casting a warm glow over the forest, I reluctantly turned back towards the path that would lead me home. My heart was filled with joy and gratitude for the remarkable adventure I had experienced in the secret forest. On my way back, I stopped to rest under a towering oak tree. As I leaned against its sturdy trunk, I realized that this was more than just a forest – it was a living, breathing world, teeming with life and secrets waiting to be discovered.I couldn't wait to share my tales with my grandpa and friends, and I knew that this wouldn't be my last visit to the secret forest. It had become a part of me, a magical place where I could escape and connect with nature in a way I had never imagined. As the stars began to twinkle in the night sky, I made a silent promise to protect and cherish this wondrous place, for it was a treasure beyond compare.篇4The Big RaceThe sun was shining brightly on the day of the big race. All the woodland creatures were getting ready to compete. I was so excited! This was my first time entering the annual Forest 500 Race. My friends Freddy the fox, Sammy the squirrel, and Parker the porcupine were racing too."Good luck guys!" I cheered as we lined up at the starting line. Freddy gave me a wink."You're going down, rabbit!"I just smiled back. Freddy was always talking a big game, but I was pretty fast myself. The race coordinator, Mr. Owl, flapped his wings to get everyone's attention."Racers, take your marks!" he hooted. "On your mark, get set, go!"And we were off! I shot out from the starting line, my big feet carrying me swiftly over the dirt path. Sammy was right on my tail, scampering as fast as his little legs could go. Parker was bumping along behind us, his quills sticking straight up with determination. The path wound its way through the shady forest, under tangles of vines and over bubbling creeks. My heart was thumping from the exertion. I could feel Freddy closing in on my left. That sneaky fox was light and agile.Suddenly, there was a loud snap up ahead. A massive tree trunk had fallen, blocking the path! I skidded to a stop just in time. Behind me I could hear squeals and thuds as the other racers ran into each other. Thinking quickly, I leapt over the trunk, using my powerful legs to sail over the obstacle."Whoa, nice jump!" Freddy called out. He and the others were struggling to get over the trunk.Taking advantage of my lead, I bounded down the path as fast as I could go. The trees whipped past in a green blur. Up ahead I could see the stream where we had to cross using the fallen log bridge.I approached the log bridge at full speed and launched myself into the air. But the log was more slippery than I expected! My feet slipped on the wet bark and I did a full body spin before crashing into the cold water."Ahhh!" I sputtered, surfacing from the stream. The other racers were catching up fast.No time to waste! I scrambled up the muddy bank, emerald droplets flying everywhere. My sopping wet fur weighed me down, but I couldn't let that stop me. The finish line was just ahead! With all my might, I sprinted the final stretch down the path. My energy was fading, but the roars of the cheering spectators filling the clearing gave me that extra boost I needed. Putting on one final burst of speed, I flung myself across the finish line and collapsed in a panting heap.I had won! The other racers trickled in after me, exhausted but proud. Freddy gave me a grudging high-five with his paw."Nice race, rabbit. You really showed your stuff out there."Mr. Owl proudly draped the winner's medal around my neck as the crowd cheered wildly. It was the most amazing feeling. All those weeks of training had really paid off.At the award ceremony picnic afterwards, I celebrated with my friends over dandelion salads and fresh blueberries. Sammy was already talking about next year's race."Just you wait, I'm going to train every single day! The 500 championship is as good as mine."I just smiled and took another bite of my salad. I couldn't wait for next year's race, but for now, I was just going to enjoy being a champion. The end.篇5Title: The Adventures of Fluffy the Brave CatMy name is Timmy, and I want to tell you about the most exciting thing that happened to me last summer. It all startedwhen my family and I went on a camping trip to the mountains. We packed our tent, sleeping bags, and lots of yummy snacks like granola bars and trail mix.On the first day, we hiked through the woods and saw so many cool things! There were tall trees, colorful wildflowers, and even a little stream where we stopped to splash our feet. After a few hours, we found the perfect spot to set up our campsite, right next to a sparkling lake.As we were putting up the tent, I noticed a furry little creature scurrying around nearby. It was a tiny kitten, all alone and looking scared. "Mom, Dad, can we keep it?" I asked excitedly. They said we could give it some food and water, but we couldn't take it home with us.The kitten gobbled up the tuna and milk we gave it and seemed to warm up to us quickly. I named her Fluffy because of her soft, fluffy gray fur. She was the cutest thing ever! That night, as we roasted marshmallows by the campfire, Fluffy cuddled up next to me, purring softly. I wished we could keep her forever, but I knew she belonged in the wild. The next morning, we packed up our camp and headed back home. Fluffy followed us for a little while, but eventually, sheturned and scampered back into the woods. I was sad to see her go, but I knew she'd be okay.A few weeks later, we went back to the same campsite for another weekend trip. As soon as we arrived, I heard a familiar "meow" coming from the bushes. It was Fluffy! She recognized us and came running over, rubbing against our legs and letting out happy little purrs. We spent the whole weekend playing with Fluffy and exploring the woods together. She was so brave, chasing butterflies and squirrels without a care in the world. At night, she cuddled up in my sleeping bag, keeping me warm and safe.On our last day, as we were packing up to leave, Fluffy seemed restless. She kept running back and forth between us and the woods, meowing loudly. It was almost like she was trying to tell us something.Suddenly, we heard a loud growling noise coming from the bushes. A huge bear emerged, sniffing the air and looking for food. Fluffy stood her ground, arching her back and hissing at the bear. She was so tiny compared to the massive bear, but she wasn't afraid at all!The bear roared and swiped its paw at Fluffy, but she was too quick. She darted around the bear, distracting it and leading it away from our campsite. My parents and I watched in amazement as this little cat took on a giant bear, protecting us with her bravery. After a tense standoff, the bear finally gave up and lumbered back into the woods. Fluffy came trotting back to us, looking triumphant. We all cheered and hugged her, so grateful for her courage. From that day on, Fluffy became our camping buddy. Whenever we went on a trip to the mountains, she was there to greet us, ready for more adventures. She was the bravest, most loyal cat I've ever known, and I'll never forget the time she saved us from the bear.Fluffy taught me that even the smallest creatures can have huge hearts and incredible courage. She showed me that true bravery isn't about being big and strong, but about standing up for what's right, no matter how scary things might seem.Whenever I feel afraid or overwhelmed, I think of Fluffy and her fearlessness in the face of danger. She reminds me to be brave, to stand tall, and to always protect the ones I love. Fluffymay have been a tiny cat, but she had the heart of a lion, and I'll forever be grateful for her friendship and her bravery.篇6It was a sunny Saturday morning and I was sooo excited! Today was the big Science Fair at my school. For weeks, I had been working really hard on my project about how plants grow. I had planted all kinds of seeds in different soils and kept careful notes on what happened. Some grew tall and green, while others were short and sickly. I couldn't wait to show off my experiment! When we got to the school gym, there were long tables set up everywhere with other kids' projects on display. There were volcanoes, robots, models of the solar system, and all sorts of cool stuff. My best friend Michael had built a working hovercraft out of an old leaf blower! After we dropped off our projects, Michael and I went to check out the other exhibits. The first one we saw was by Suzie Henderson from Mrs. Roberts' class. She had trained her dog Rufus to pull a little wagon and respond to different commands. When she said "Sit!", Rufus instantly planted his furry bottom on the ground. Then she showed how he could "Stay" in one spot for minutes at a time. Rufus was a good boy and Suzie's project was really neat.Next we came across Billy Harmon's exhibit, which demonstrated something called "air pressure." He had a sharp needle poking through a balloon, but the balloon didn't pop! Instead, the air was getting squished inside and pushing against the sides to block the needle hole. Mind = blown!Down the aisle, we ran into my friend Emma who was waiting by her project titled "Which Soap Cleans Best?" She had taken six glass plates and smeared them with a mixture of ketchup, mud, grease, and other gross stuff. Then she tried cleaning each plate with a different type of soap to see which one worked the best at cutting through the grime. Her conclusionwas that dishwashing liquid beat out all the other soaps, even the expensive ones!Michael and I were having a blast checking out everybody's cool experiments. That's when we stumbled upon a project that looked.....familiar. It was an exact replica of my plant growing setup! The display board had the same diagrams and everything.I studied the name card and felt a sinking feeling in my stomach. It was MY project, but someone else's name was on it - Kevin Thompson!"Hey, that's MY experiment!" I shouted angrily. Kevin turned around with a smug look on his face."Nuh uh, I did this one all by myself. You must have copied me," he said with a nasty sneer."No way, I've been working on this for a month! You stole my idea and my results, you cheater!" I could feel tears welling up in my eyes from the unfairness of it all.Just then, the head judge Mrs. Franklin came over to ask what the commotion was about. I started to explain to her what Kevin had done, but he quickly interrupted me."Don't listen to him, ma'am. This project is 100% my own work. Carson is just a sore loser and a liar," Kevin said in his most sincere voice.Mrs. Franklin looked back and forth between us with a stern expression. "Boys, you both seem to be claiming this is your own project. I'm afraid I'll need to see your documentation and evidence to determine which one of you is telling the truth."My heart sank...Kevin had stolen all my notes and records when he took my project! I had nothing to show as proof. As I opened my mouth to try to explain, Michael jumped in."Mrs. Franklin, I was with Carson this whole time while he worked on his plant experiment. I can vouch that it was all hisown effort and ideas. Kevin definitely took credit for something he didn't do," Michael said firmly.。

山川又可以细分为:forest, mountains, caves, islands and volcanoes, paths, rivers, sea。

Chapter 1 Forest
