I started to be a little smug, thinking: it's hard for me to make a simple dumpling. But when I put the leaves back on, the glutinous rice was like a naughty child who didn't listen to my commands and jumped out in succession. I was like a cat on hot bricks today, fortunately, my grandma solution for me get some glutinous rice around a bit, I breathed a sigh of relief, the in the mind of a heavy piece of rock. After a few setbacks, I finally got to the last step. I took the palm rope and wrapped it in a circle and then I gave it to my grandmother. It was then that I realized that zongzi was a handicraft work and it was very difficult to wrap up.This time the Dragon Boat Festival can be really interesting, not only I will make dumplings, but also know that if there is asetback, I will also climb up and try again!端午节的邀请英语作文2The fifth day of may is the traditional Chinese festival of Dragon Boat Festival. All the way, I put my hands to the eyes with my glittering dewdrops, and I felt as if my eyes were brighter. The eyes were so bright as they sat in the classroom that they could read anything. After school, I spread my legs and ran home. As soon as I got to the door, I could smell zongzi, and as soon as I entered thedoor, I saw my father make a table for me to come home to eat.I had washed at the table, give mom and dad one solution for a zongzi, sprinkle with sugar, then give my own solution to a beautiful triangle zongzi, sprinkle with sugar to eat with relish. At the dinner table, we eat and talk, the room is filled with the happy atmosphere of the Dragon Boat Festival, the smell of zongzi and the aroma of incense.Meal, mother gave me the ears with realgar wine, for my lips touch the lipstick, gave me a wrist red cord, dressed I like dumplings incense, let I to the school to learn.I love eating zongzi, love the Dragon Boat Festival and enjoy the festive atmosphere.端午节的邀请英语作文4We all know that the 5th day of the fifth month of the Chinese lunar calendar is the Dragon Boat Festival! In my home, grandma will always be busy making zongzi. In a few days, grandma will go to the supermarket to buy glutinous rice and rice dumplings, then put the dumplings in the pot to boil, and then brush them out with the brush, and wait until the Dragon Boat Festival day to bring the dumplings. On the day of Dragon Boat Festival, my mother and I were still asleep. Grandma was calling zongzi. Grandma had prepared several kinds of stuffing, including jujube, peas and pork. I like jujube most, but my mother likes nothing to eat. "Do it!" Grandma said. My mother and I smiled, because my mother is the first time I have zongzi, certainly not the package. But I still want to learn from my grandmother and try it before I know it. My mother and I pick up their leaves, according to grandma taught step by step. Because it was the first time to make zongzi, and the mother smiled and said, "how do we do it? It looks like a simple one. It'sstupid to do it." I listened, looked at the shapeless dumpling in my mother's hands, and laughed loudly, just like mine. No corner of the corner, Mrs. Grandma encouraged us: "the first is not good, the second will surely improve." In this way, mother is better than a bag, but I still haven't learned it. I will not cook zongzi to cook zongzi, I will put the dumplings wrapped by grandma in the pot, add water, and then burn it up. After a while, a zongzi fragrance floated out, I'm waiting for my favorite dumplings dates. I had an unforgettable Dragon Boat Festival. I wish I could be happy every year.端午节的邀请英语作文5Of all the festivals in China, Dragon Boat Festival is my favorite. When the Dragon Boat Festival comes, not only the family will pack the zongzi, but some communities or units will organize the group to carry on the game of zongzi. Many water towns will organize a dragon boat race, which is magnificent and spectacular. When I was young, my mother told me that the Dragon Boat Festival in the 5th day of the fifth month of the Chinese lunar calendar was first to commemorate the great patriotic poet Qu Yuan, which gradually took the day as a holiday. My father told me that Qu Yuan is a Chu state living in the past 2000 years. He is a great poet and patriot and a loyal minister. In order to the people can live a happy life, he dared to point out the king was the wrong thing to do, so the old people loved him. But when the new king came to power, he was unconscious, and did not listen to Qu Yuan's advice and claim, and lost an important battle with the state of Qin. The state of Chu was occupied by the state of Qin. After Qu Yuan heard the news, he died in the Miluo river. The local people are afraid that the fish in the river will eat Qu Yuan's body, so they can put rice dumplingsand other food into the river. After the death of Qu Yuan, the local legend went to the sky on a dragon boat. It was at the beginning of May each year five Dragon Boat Festival, dumplings, dragon boat racing has become an important activity. In China, people like Dragon Boat Festival very much. Now people in the city are busy with their own work, so they can't sell their zongzi Festival, so they go to various supermarkets to buy. In the supermarket there are many types of dumplings, rice dumplings with bacon, candied dumplings, dumplings and so on, very much the pattern. After the dumplings are cooked in a pot, open the lid of the pot and smell it. It is full of the fragrance of the dumplings in the house, tasting a mouthful, and the sweet taste of the glutinous rice in the full mouth. Besides eating zongzi, people can also watch dragon boat racing. On the river, the dragon boat in front of the leading high, vivid. The whole dragon boat was narrow and long. There was a big drum in front, and one after another sat a lot of strong young men. With the sound of the drums, they paddled neatly on the surface of the water. For a while, splashing, drums, voice and the sound of refueling on the riverbank were coming up. The scene was magnificent and spectacular. I like the Dragon Boat Festival, not only because it can eat delicious zongzi, see the wonderful dragon boat race, and more like its historical connotation. Every time I pass the Dragon Boat Festival, I can always think of Qu Yuan, think of his slamming and long sword, reciting "Li Sao" in the mouth, walking between the rivers and lakes, his loyalty and perseverance. His literary grace influences the generation of Chinese. If we compare traditional Chinese festivals to a piece of silk with jewels, then the Dragon Boat Festival is a bright pearl on the silk.。

My name is Xiaoming, and I'm a 10-year-old boy from Beijing, China. I want to tell you all about one of my favorite festivals – the Dragon Boat Festival! It's a very special day in China, and I think you should come to visit and experience it for yourself. The Dragon Boat Festival is also called the Duanwu Festival, and it happens on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese lunar calendar. That means the date changes every year, but it's usually in late May or early June. This year, it falls on June 18th, so you still have time to plan your trip! The festival has a really cool history. A long time ago, there was a famous poet and minister named Qu Yuan. He was super smart and loyal to his country, but the king didn't listen to his advice. Qu Yuan was so upset that he drowned himself in a river. When people heard about it, they raced out in boats to try and save him. They beat drums and threw rice dumplings into the water to keep the fish away from his body. Even though they couldn't save Qu Yuan, people still celebrate his life and loyalty every year. There are so many fun things to do during the Dragon Boat Festival! One of the biggest events is the dragon boat races. These are long, narrow boats that look like dragons, with adragon head at the front and a dragon tail at the back. The boats are paddled by teams of rowers, and they race against each other on rivers or lakes. It's so exciting to watch!Another tradition is eating zongzi, which are sticky rice dumplings wrapped in bamboo leaves. My grandma makes the best zongzi! They're usually filled with sweet or savory fillings like red bean paste, meat, or egg yolk. We also hang up plants like calamus, moxa, and wormwood because people used to think they could ward off evil spirits. One of my favorite parts of the festival is the races and games. There are egg-carrying races, where you have to run while balancing an egg on a spoon. There are also tug-of-war competitions and climbing competitions, where people try to climb up a greasy pole. The games are so much fun, and there are always prizes for the winners. If you come to China for the Dragon Boat Festival, you'll get to see so many cool things! In Beijing, there are huge dragon boat races on lakes like Houhai and Shichahai. People decorate their homes with zongzi pyramids and hang up colorful lanterns. There are also street performances, like dragon dances and traditional operas.Other parts of China have their own unique Dragon Boat Festival traditions too. In Guangdong Province, people shoot firecrackers and hold dragon boat watching parties. In Hunan Province, they have a special rice cake called Lao Xuanzhou that's made with sticky rice, red beans, and pork. And in Taiwan, they have a tradition of playing with egg shakes, which are eggs filled with different colors and patterns.I really hope you'll consider visiting China for the Dragon Boat Festival. It's such an amazing way to learn about our culture and traditions. You'll get to try delicious foods, watch exciting races, and play fun games. And who knows, maybe you'll even get to ride in a dragon boat yourself! So what do you say? Will you come and celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival with me? I promise you'll have an unforgettable experience and make lots of great memories. Let me know if you have any questions – I can't wait to show you around!篇3Come Experience the Exciting Dragon Boat Festival in China!Hi there! My name is Lily and I'm 10 years old. My name is Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. I live in Beijing, the capital city of China. I love my country because we have so many amazing festivals and traditions. One of myfavorite holidays is the Dragon Boat Festival which happens every year in late May or early June. I want to invite you to come visit China during this special time so you can experience all the fun and exciting activities! The Dragon Boat Festival has been celebrated in China for over 2,000 years. It started as a way to honor an ancient Chinese poet and minister named Qu Yuan who lived during the Warring States period. The legend says that after Qu Yuan died, people raced out in boats to search for his body in the river. They beat drums and threw rice dumplings into the water to keep evil spirits and fish away. Over time, these acts turned into the modern Dragon Boat Festival traditions. One of the biggest events is the dragon boat races! These are really cool to watch. The boats are loooooong - some can fit 60 or more paddlers! The front of each boat has a dragon head sculpture and the back has a dragon tail. As the rowers paddle furiously, it looks like the dragon is slithering quickly across the water. The racing teams wear special uniforms and practice for months to be perfectly synchronized. The boats move so fast it's amazing! There are usually races on rivers or lakes in every city and town across China during the festival. Everybody cheers loudly for their favorite teams.Another major part of the Dragon Boat Festival is eating zongzi, which are pyramid-shaped dumplings made of sticky rice stuffed with different fillings wrapped in bamboo leaves. The most common kinds have fillings like bean paste, meats, egg yolks, or just plain rice. Zongzi are a symbol of the festival and every family makes batches of them during the celebrations. My grandma is an awesome zongzi chef - she stuffs hers with sweet red bean paste and they taste sooooo good! I can easily eat 5 or 6 of them. We also hang up pictures of Qu Yuan, drink realgar wine, and wear perfume pouches during the festival for luck. The Dragon Boat Festival is a really fun time for kids like me. We get to take a few days off from school and there are a ton of activities and performances everywhere. In Beijing, there are dragon boat viewing cruises on the lakes where you can watch the races up close from a boat. There are also cultural exhibits explaining the holiday's traditions. My favorite part is watching the dragon dances! Groups of dancers coordinate these huge dragon puppets that weave through the streets. Some of the "dragons" are over 100 feet long and it takes dozens of people to operate them! The dances are so intricate and energetic. In parks, temples, and public spaces during the festival, you can find vendors selling so many cool dragon-themed souvenirsand crafts. I love looking at all the colorful dragon kites, paintings, wooden sculptures, and masks. One year I got a little wooden dragon boat that I put on my desk. You can also buy traditional foods like zongzi, sweet rice balls, and sesame seed candy. It's fun to walk around eating snacks and playing the dragon games and activities. If you visit China during the Dragon Boat Festival, you absolutely have to go see one of the traditional dragon boat racing competitions. It's such an incredible experience to witness these huge dragon boats speeding across the water with the rowers moving in perfect unison while drummers pound out rhythms. The whole area is decorated with bright banners and flags. Crowds of people line the shores cheering loudly and slurping zongzi while breathing in the fragrant aroma of the bamboo leaves. You'll see dancers performing the dragon dances nearby, leaving trails of colorful ribbon and flames in their wake. With a zongzi in each hand, you can wander through the festival stalls admiring all the amazing arts, crafts, and foods for sale. It's such a vibrant and energetic atmosphere that fills you with joy and appreciation for this ancient cultural tradition.China is an awesome country with over 5,000 years of history and rich cultural heritage. The Dragon Boat Festival is one of ourmost important and exciting yearly celebrations. I really hope you can come to China sometime to experience it for yourself! You'll get to see the incredible dragon boat races, eat delicious foods like zongzi, watch mesmerizing dragon dances, and be surrounded by beautiful decorations and festivities. It's a holiday filled with such energy, color, and enthusiasm for Chinese traditions. You'll have an amazing time no matter where you celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival in China. Just be sure to wear your good running shoes - you'll be doing a lot of walking with a belly full of zongzi!篇5Certainly! Here is an essay of around 2000 words, written from the perspective of an elementary school student, inviting people to experience the traditional Chinese Dragon Boat Festival:An Invitation to Experience the Dragon Boat Festival in ChinaHi there! I want to tell you all about one of my favorite festivals that we celebrate every year – the Dragon Boat Festival! It's a really fun and exciting time, filled with lots of tasty food, colorful decorations, and ancient traditions. I hope after reading this, you'll be eager to come to China and join in the celebrations! The Dragon Boat Festival, also called the Duanwu Festival, dates back over 2,000 years to the famous Chinese poet Qu Yuan. The story goes that Qu Yuan was a loyal minister who drowned himself in a river after being exiled, because he loved his country so much. When people heard the news, they raced out in boats to try and find his body. They beat drums and splashed the water with their paddles to keep evil spirits and fish away. They also dropped rice dumplings called zongzi into the river, hoping the fish would eat those instead of Qu Yuan's body.Even though it's been such a long time since Qu Yuan lived, we still celebrate this festival every year on the 5th day of the 5th month of the Chinese lunar calendar. One of the main activities is eating those same zongzi dumplings! My grandma makes the most delicious ones, stuffed with sweet or savory fillings like redbean paste, mushrooms, and pork. I can never get enough of them during the festival season.Another popular tradition is drinking realgar wine. Don't worry, it's not actually made with realgar – that would be poisonous! It's just a special type of rice wine infused with herbs like Ardisia crenata and angelica root. Some people believe drinking it can ward off evil spirits and bring good health. I'm not allowed to have any since I'm too young, but I've had a tiny sip before and it tastes really strong and herbal. My favorite part of the Dragon Boat Festival has to be the dragon boat races though! These are big boats carved to look like ferocious dragons, with a dragon head at the front and tail at the back. They're so colorful and fierce looking. Teams of paddlers have to race the boats across rivers or lakes, accompanied by the thundering rhythm of drums. Everybody cheers really loudly for their team. I went to watch the races on Kunming Lake in Beijing's Summer Palace a couple of years ago –it was an incredible atmosphere with all the shouting and drumbeats! I'd love to have a go at paddling in one of those dragon boats when I'm a bit older. You can find dragon boat races happening all across China during the festival period. I've heard the ones in places like HongKong, Hangzhou, and Fuzhou are particularly amazing to watch. Of course, there are lots of other fun activities and traditions too, like drinking xionghuang wine which is brewed with special herbs and spices, hanging aromatic mugwort and calamus plants around the house to repel insects, and racing to eat spicy snacks as fast as you can.One of my absolute favorite things about the Dragon Boat Festival has to be all the decorations though! Everywhere you look there are vibrant ribbons, lanterns shaped like zongzi, dragon images, and the mu'ou plant which is seen as a symbol of good luck. The streets and homes are covered with beautiful displays. My family always hangsup pictures of Qu Yuan and the dragon boats on our front door.I really hope you've enjoyed learning about the Dragon Boat Festival and all the fun customs involved! It's such an exciting and colorful celebration that brings my family and the whole community together. We'd be delighted to welcome you to China to experience it for yourself one day. Just be prepared for crowds, loud drumming, and eating lots and lots of delicious zongzi dumplings! Let me know if you have any other questions about this amazing festival.。
