翻译界对于诗歌翻译的准则有一个共识,那就是“诗人译诗”,即诗歌应当由诗人来翻译最好。
本文拟从诗学角度分析顾子欣和曹明伦The road not taken两译本,通过比较他们在几个主要的诗学元素,包括押韵,节奏和意象上的处理方式,看出他们各自译本的优势和不足,以期对我们今后诗歌翻译有所启发。

一、引言英国一位著名翻译家和翻译理论家泰勒说:“只有诗人才能译诗”。
中国著名诗人和翻译家,卞之琳也提出“以诗译诗”翻译理论,即翻译格律诗应力求用相应的汉语白话格律诗进行翻译。
著名文学家及翻译家傅雷先生也曾说过,“不会做诗的人千万不要译诗,弄得不仅诗意全无,连散文都不像”。
因此,在“诗人译诗”这一翻译观的指导下,本文从诗学层面对The road not taken进行分析,同时,对比分析顾子欣和曹明伦两译本在押韵,节奏和意象上各自的特点,以期对我们的诗歌鉴赏以及诗歌翻译有所启发。
二、Robert Frost 及The road not takenThe road not taken是由美国著名诗人Robert Lee Frost所写,他是美国20世纪90年代最受欢迎的诗人之一。
他一生写作并出版了10部诗集,本诗是其第三部诗集《山的间隔》中的名篇,在中国流传较广的一首。
诗歌用通俗的语言表达了深刻的人生哲理,反映了当时作者当时面临抉择时的态度。
本文分析的是名家顾子欣和曹明伦的译本,这两个译本均已入选中国的语文教科书,在国内广为流传。
